She was so attentive and collaborative with designing a commemorative piece of my late heart dog, Roku. She walked me through the process step by step and was sure that the piece was just right. Now carrying Roku with me forever through time and ink. Cannot recommend Anca and Three Jacks Tattoo enough! And will definitely be back!

Negative experience: Enquired about a tattoo in June and paid a 50% deposit in July for a day sitting in October. Messaged company to check everything was still in place 10 days previous to booking and a time to arrive. Arrived for booking to wait half hour to be told that the artist was double booked. A lot of faffing around to see where things went wrong. Then to be told I was booked in with a completely different person who was very aggressive with his manners and tried blaming the mix up on myself. Then, after an hour of waiting I asked for my deposit back to be told this wouldn’t be possible. I eventually walked away with my deposit but after a mouthful from this artist. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely delighted with the service from start to finish. Andrew did my daughter's at short notice due to another tattooist letting her down. It was her 18th birthday today and wanted a memorial tattoo done for my husband who passed away in April this year. He even managed to fit me in this afternoon to have mine too. The templates were brilliant and he used my husband's handwriting to form both tattoos for us. He even managed to include some of my hubby's ashes! Highly recommended. Thank you soooo much Andrew!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Three Jacks Tattoo highly enough. I don't normally leave reviews, so the fact I'm taking time to do this speaks for itself. I had a few small tattoos already done by other artists but attended to have a large piece done on my arm by Anca. From the moment I arrived James welcomed me and put me at ease. He was really friendly and helpful. Anca, well what can I say? She is amazing. She was brilliant for the whole day and after 6 and half hours of her tattooing me that was relatively pain free I walked away with a stunning tattoo. She is a true professional and her tattooing is mind blowing. I know if I wanted another detailed tattoo done there is only one place and person in particular who would be top of my list. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: Have been to the Three Jacks Tattoo shop a few time over recent months & its now the only tattoo shop I will ever go to. Every time has been 5* treatment. I have new Tattoos & Cover ups from These guys, which have all be so beautiful & just outstanding work. They really listen to their customer needs and what they really want. Also very helpful with suggestions and idea's. They really do, do their upmost best to give their customer exactly what they invision & want. The shop is always immaculately clean. All Saftey & cleanliness routine are followed to a high standard. I have always felt at ease with them, before, during and after the tattoo. During the tattoo they constantly ask how your doing, if your okay through it. I can't thank them enough for the work they have done for me. Looking forward to going back!

Fantastic experience: I 've been tattooed by both James and Andrew and both are excellent tattoists and awesome guys as well ,I'm booked in again in December and have about 2 grands worth of tattooing planned and all will be done at Three Jacks as well as I have had nothing but excellent service each time I've used them . I couldn't recommend a nicer group of people , the shop is spotless everything is done to the highest standard and I honestly can't sing their praises enough . If I could give them a 10 star review I would . So excited for my next tattoo I'm like a kid in a candy shop .

Fantastic experience: I lost my dog Bailey, so I wanted to have a special tattoo to remind me of her. James was very professional and reassuring. He was very chatty and friendly through out, checking that I was ok, and not in too much pain. The shop was very clean and sterile and everyone was wearing ppe. There was hand sanitiser available and lots of precautions were in place. It was also excellent value for money. Fantastic experience: I have been to this amazing tattoo parlour and I must say I wish I found it sooner. I found them on Facebook and enquired about a sleeve I have wanted for a very long time the price that I was given was the best around so I dived on the idea of finally having it done. James is the man doing my tattoo he’s very professional and amazing at his job, they all are it’s an amazing atmosphere in the shop you feel very welcomed and at ease wether it’s you’re first tattoo or one of many. Fantastic experience: I wanted a full sleeve for many years then got in touch with Three Jacks Tattoo. I was introduced to Andrew who understood exactly what l wanted. We went through a few ideas then Andrew came up with a design where everything flowed and gave me the result l wanted. I absolutely love the work Andrew has done and l cannot recommend him enough. It took me years to finally decide to get a sleeve, and now were designing my other arm as l have the bug. All the staff at Three Jack Tattoo are very professional and make you feel welcome and relaxed. The atmosphere in there is exactly how you want it when having work done, so If your looking for a quality Tattoo in Cardiff, This is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I had a cover up done by James back last year. He came highly recommended by a friend at work, and I was extremely impressed by the work he’d had done. I had a design that I wanted done, to cover up black writing I had done when I was younger... (we’ve all been there ) I honestly didn’t think it would have been possible and that maybe we would need to make some changes. James put me at ease and said it could be done, and he stuck to his word! It’s honestly my best tattoo, and the colour is still amazing in it!! I’ll certainly be back. Fantastic experience: I heard about Three Jacks through a friend and I’m so glad I found them. Before i went to Three Jacks I had a sleeve done but wasn’t completely happy with how it was looking so I went into store and had a chat with Andrew to see what we could do. He came up with a way to add more details and change things up a bit. We also added a skull to my hand which is an amazing edition. Hands down the best tattoo shop I’ve been in along with the level of skill they have you won’t find anything like it. Can’t wait to be able to get some time off work to get some more work down by Andrew!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. The quality and work of all the tattooists is beyond words. What makes it so unique is the fact that you have four incredibly talented artists all with different strengths and preferences so you will always be in good hands. I personally found this place simply by accident but I can honestly say now I would never go anywhere else. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed and it’s like you’re an old friend. I think one of the things I really like about this place is it’s so open so you can see everything. It’s spotlessly clean and the tattooist do everything in front of you so you can see that everything is clean (a BIG one for me). There is no risk of any sort of contamination or risk to my or the tattooists personal safety. I would highly recommended this place, pop in, meet the tattooists you simply won’t be disappointed. She is 14 and has learning disabilities and it was the first thing she'd ever drawn so it was very special and important to me that it looked the same.
