Fantastic experience: Wouldn’t use anyone else for my tattoos now! Mike is a top bloke with a great artistic mind, who can really create the most fantastic pieces of artwork. He’ll bring your ideas to life and his understanding of tattooing is unreal. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: I had lost my belly button following an operation so I asked CoCreate if they could tattoo a "representation" of a belly button for me. I saw Jess who had researched some patterns following my thoughts on the effect I was looking for. She spent time with me discussing the right size, position of the tattoo and colour. The upstairs studio was very clean, comfortable and is a relaxing environment with low background music. My tattoo has healed very quickly and I am thrilled with the result. Jess also offers a free 'top up' of colour during the first year if it fades. I would absolutely recommend CoCreate to anyone looking at having a tattoo-especially if it's your first one !

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my first two tattoo’s at CoCreate with Lauren and I am so pleased with how they have come out! Lauren was really attentive in making sure the designs fit what I was looking for and was really quick to come back with amendments and suggestions. I was really impressed with the final designs and how detailed they were. It’s a super relaxed environment to get a tattoo, you’re made to feel welcome as soon as you come in and they make sure you’re comfortable throughout the whole process. Fantastic experience: Fran was absolutely amazing. From the first consultation she listened to what I wanted and put me at ease. She was quick to get designs to me and listened and changed what I requested even when poorly! From the moment I went into my tattoo it was like meeting up with an old friend. Fran did an amazing job her work is brilliant and I can’t recommend her enough. The studio is also lovely and with only two chairs feels a very personal experience. The location is also perfect in the heart of Chelmsford.

Fantastic experience: Jess at GoCreate is amazing she created a design to fit the area on my arm which I loved. On the day I turned up it was just like meeting an old friend for a catch up had a lovely relaxing tattoo with tea and sugary treats at the ready, if needed. Fantastic experience: I had 3 tattoos done today by Lauren and oh my god I’ve never been made to feel more welcome! Lauren is so professional and such a sweet person- she made me feel so comfortable and I felt I was able to really communicate with her whether that was design related or just chatting. Fran was also working and she’s wonderful too, we all had some great chats! They’re both super insightful and genuinely lovely people to have work done by and to chat with. I’m so so pleased with Lauren’s work and all of the info I was given regarding aftercare. Hands down the most enjoyable tattooing experience I’ve ever had and I will be returning in the future! Fantastic experience: I visited Jess in the wonderful little studio on the top floor! Both of the tattoo artists were very friendly and accommodating, offering snacks and drinks during long sessions. They were both very lovely to talk to and would helped pass the time. Jess is really lovely to work with and very easy to talk to, she is patient and easygoing when it comes to design changes or stencil adjustments. She is the most reliable tattoo artist I have been to and for that reason, I am a returning customer of hers. I would highly recommend this studio.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish Mike is a true professional. My tattoo appointment was at the Castle Hedingham studio and it was incredible. The space itself is so cool, super clean and the views over the fields as you're getting tattooed is perfect. I felt so welcome on arrival, mike provided lots of drinks and a big bottle of water too. Mike first tattooed me 12 years ago and when I decided to get more tattoos there was no one else I wanted to continue on this journey with. When I first got in touch with mike we had a video call to discuss my ideas and what I wanted. He listens and really wants to make each tattoo perfect, he sent me some designs over by email to see what I thought and was open to my feedback or any changes I wanted to make. I was so happy with the designs. Communication was amazing throughout the whole process. I can't recommend Mike and co create tattoo enough. I have more sessions booked in and I can't wait. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Best tattoo experience I've had, from start to finish everyone was really helpful and lovely! Honestly such good vibes throughout the tattoo with both Fran and Jess. Fantastic experience: I have only ever gone to Jess for any of my tattoos and she is amazing. I tend to feel more anxious when it comes to getting a tattoo however she is so understanding and accommodating. She is so easy to talk to and creates such a calm environment during your appointment with nothing being too much to ask for. Her tattoos are amazing quality and her detail is insane. As soon as I walked into the studio I felt calm and had absolutely no worries even though I was so anxious all morning because Jess was so amazing. 10/10 experience.

Jess rang me beforehand for a phone consultation and she designed my tattoo about a week before the appointment and made any changes that I suggested, she took particular care to make sure I was happy with the placement and made suggestions. Fantastic experience: Went here for my first tattoo, with some friends who were veterans to the experience. We were all blown away by the expertise and tranquility of this studio. We booked our time with Lauren. Her communication leading up to the appointment was excellent. Warren was also at the studio, and we were amazed by the integrity both of them displayed. I could not recommend both Lauren, Warren and the studio more! It was a truly therapeutic experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had 3 tattoos designed and tattooed by Fran and I couldn’t be happier with them. Time is taken to put the stencils on and Fran ensured that I was happy with the placement, she offers advice and guidance and talks through the process of placements/ tattooing. When booking the appointment Fran listened to exactly what I wanted, suggesting little tweaks to make sure the design was right for me and offered advice throughout the whole process. The private studio is such a relaxing space and Fran, Mike and Lauren were really welcoming. Fran delivered everything I asked tor with my tattoo and I am beyond pleased with the result! Fantastic experience: I came to Fran to create a sleeve after having my forearm tattooed by Mike in Oct 2018. When talking about the design I wanted, Fran took so much care to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted and did not disappoint!! My sleeve was finished and I decided to tattoo my leg, again she didn't disappoint, I was amazed at the design and even more so now we are half way through. Frans work is incredible, so much attention to detail! Mike, Lauren and Fran have created an amazing atmosphere and make you feel so welcome. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Where do I even begin. I've never done a review before but feel like Cocreate deserves it and much more. This experience has been amazing from start to finish! My first tattoo ever with Mike and I was made to feel so comfortable and relaxed by the entire team. I'm someone who struggles to stay still for long periods of time, but the interesting and funny conversations never ended. It made 6 hours each session zoom by! I couldn't be happier with the result and owe it all to Mike! Had my first 2 pieces done here with Frances who’s an incredible person as well as an amazing tattooist and made me feel 100% confident & comfortable from consultation to finished work! Also have an amazing aftercare program and always will check up if work needs retouching and so on! Fantastic experience: This was my first tattoo so I was a bit apprehensive and nervous. Lauren's clear communication around the process and quick responses really helped and I was never made to feel I'd asked a daft question! Fran put me at ease as soon as we spoke on the phone to discuss my tattoo design. She totally understood what I was looking for and once the design had been shared, was happy to tweak it to make it exactly how I wanted. I love how it's uniquely mine! Fantastic experience: CoCreate is hands down the best studio I have been to for a tattoo, they are so keen to make sure you love every part of the piece you are getting, everyone I’ve met there is so friendly and welcoming! The studio is spotless, fresh & they use great products. Fran goes above and beyond with discussing ideas, making sure the stencil positioning is spot on and spending time putting intricate detailing into each tattoo, couldn’t ask for a better experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. I’ll be back for sure. :)

Fantastic experience: I'm on my way to have my 5th session with Mike for a 3/4 arm sleeve. From the first phone call Mike has been an absolute professional and I look forward to every session. He's meticulous, interesting and a creative genius. If you're planning on getting a large design then don't hesitate. Also I've now seen Fran tattoo about 5 people and she's also incredibly talented. Fantastic experience: I had a fabulous experience with Fran and the team at CoCreate. From the start they have been very helpful and patient. I got a phonecall from Fran to discuss ideas (optional) which I think is an excellent idea and puts you more at ease that the tattoo is going to be right for you. As for deciding a date and time - they were extremely flexible around my working hours and suggested multiple dates. I got a design sent to me almost 2 weeks before the date of my tattoo so it left plenty of time before I got it done if I wanted anything changed (I didn't). The place is extremely clean and modern and made me feel very comfortable. I didn't feel nervous at all and when I was there Fran and the team were very professional, told me what was happening and assured me that we can always change things up and to make sure I'm definitely happy with the sizing of my tattoo. Fran made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment and it went very quickly. I am so happy with my tattoo and the experience I had here - would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo done by Fran and it was an amazing experience. She reassured me on all of my questions, looked after me and checked on me to make sure I was feeling okay. She was very excited to tattoo the flash design that she'd drawn, I loved her enthusiasm. The studio was incredibly clean and her and Mike were lovely to talk to. After my tattoo Fran was really easy to contact via Instagram with all of my after care questions and concerns. I had an incredible experience and would go back again, thanks Fran & Mike! :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve had Mike tattoo me for my leg sleeve the whole process has been brilliant and professional. They give you your design with plenty of time before you are actually getting tattooed so you know you are getting exactly what you want. Walking into the studio it’s so bright, clean and everyone there is so welcoming. Anything you need through the process you can just email and they respond quickly. As a whole I have been to other tattoo studios but this is by far the best one I have been to. Would 100% recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Having had a full sleeve done and currently one session into my second sleeve I can safely say Cocreate is in a league of it’s own and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The vibe in the studio is always great and the work they do is mind blowing! After casually searching for an artist who’s style caught my eye for years, I came across Mike’s Instagram profile whilst looking more intently for an artist to commemorate my dog Moses who passed away shortly before and was immediately drawn to his work. After our consultation I knew I had made the right decision choosing Mike. His enthusiasm came across immediately and his expertise helped guide my wide range of themes and ideas into a masterpiece that I am proud to wear. Moses meant to world to me and changed the course of my life. He taught me so much and ultimately changed who I am as a person so choosing the right artist was essential for me. Mike managed to capture his essence in the portrait and include images of places where I have scattered his ashes into an incredible multilayered design that fits my arm perfectly. His work genuinely makes me smile daily because it reminds me that Moses is with me in my heart and now he’s permanently on my sleeve. I cannot recommend Cocreate enough!

Fantastic experience: Just had my sleeve finished by Mike, and I love it!! Mike did an amazing job from consultation to completion. During the consultation he took my ideas and came up with such a creative and amazing design I was blown away. The service that I received for each session was top class, ALL the team are friendly and help make the experience even more enjoyable. I can’t recommend Mike, and the CoCreate team highly enough!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Team at CoCreate. Mike Philp did my tattoo back in 2019. Took my design idea and ran with it and love the result. Never seen anyone do geometric realism like he does, love the shading and blend of the design. Also want to mention I've never met someone with such passion for what he does. You really get to know someone when you're sitting in the chair for around 30 Hours overall. Can't wait to be back... Attached are a few photos from the last few sessions.
