Negative experience: Been almost a year and still haven't gotten my touch ups from Matt, was told to come into the shop multiple times just for him to be a no show and wasting my time and money. 20 out of 20 don't reccomend

Fantastic experience: I've only ever gone to this place for my piercings, and I always get Nancy. She's the sweetest and makes sure you're okay the whole time!! I got a tattoo Thursday by Ricky, and this Saturday a eyebrow piercing by Nancy, and over all it was an amazing experience. The whole parlor is overall good vibes, and everyone is super kind, would definitely suggest for people to go here.

Rick was such a nice guy, as were all of the staff! The guys were so accommedating, professional, polite and MOST OF ALL clean! I've seen dirtier Dr's offices! We were so happy we went there to Immortalize our best friend! My daughter and I will be returning to add on. Highly recommend!!‍❤️

Negative experience: I got a piercing done here by Nancy. While she is very nice, I don’t think I would come back here again. It wasn’t done well and when I tried to talk about the issues, she kept saying it was fine. Got it reassessed and I had to take it out. It’s just been one big headache.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! I went to go get my septum pierced back in October, the piercer (I can't quite remember her name) was both kind and got things done quickly and perfectly. This is definitely my go to place for all things piercings now.

Positive experience: Schedules could be more organized, I tried to go in after calling earlier on the week when I got told the piercer would be there but then she wasn't, however they made the effort to call me back and make sure I got in. Piercer was very nice and welcoming, she also gave lots of good after care information as well she was good at explaining each step of the process. Overall great experience!

Negative experience: Went in for a septum piercing and spent $80. Piercer left the clamp super loose, and missed where the piercing should've been by quite a bit to the point one end was almost coming out the bottom of my nose. A different piercer commented on how my piercer missed the mark, but neither offered to fix it. Many other friends also commented on how incorrectly pierced it looked. We ended up calling and asking to get it fixed, and we were told to come in on Monday (today) as that's when the piercer will be back in the studio. When we got there we were told that there was no piercer in on mondays and we'd have to come back a *third* time just to get it done properly. No type of refund was ever offered this whole time, neither partial or full

Positive experience: Late opening. First time experience. I went there to inquire about a service and received an abundance of information. Very nice person, knowledgeable, passionate . The establishment was well kept and I was satisfied . Thank you. I enjoyed the Halloween candy bride too! I would recommend based off of personality alone but of course it is a tattoo shop and quality of work is essential . I love realism personally. Check it out! Do the research! After receiving a short replay from Wild Ink Oshawa, I change my review and star choice due to the fact of being accused of lying, without saying you are a liar. The person knows what time it was when I pulled on the door. Whatever helps you sleep at night.1

Fantastic experience: I decided last minute to get a Medusa piercing and Nancy did it and even stayed for me because I wasn’t sure if I was gonna make it after work. I absolutely love it and she was so kind and professional and even answered questions I had the next day. Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you, finding a piercer you trust is like striking gold. Well, I struck gold at Wild Ink with Hailey! From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. Their studio is clean, bright, and welcoming, and Hailey exuded a calming confidence that instantly put me at ease. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, explaining the entire process in detail and answering all my questions with genuine enthusiasm to help. With everything I have gone through, she was able to find the perfect bar to help fix alot of problems and issues previous piercers caused. She even gave me detailed aftercare instructions and told me to follow-up just to make sure everything was healing perfectly. Honestly, they went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Not only did Hailey fix the mess that was my belly button, but she also made me feel valued and respected as a client. I can't recommend Wild Ink and Hailey and the guy sitting with us (I am so sorry, I don't remember his name!) enough – they're truly the best in the business. I just wish I found them sooner!

Negative experience: Booked a tattoo with them in April, scheduled for July, and paid my $100 deposit. The artist left the shop in late June, and as I was looking to have that artist do my tattoo, I had called the shop to see if I could get my deposit back as they could no longer provide the service. When I called I spoke to one person who passed me over to the owner of the shop, who was immediately hostile. Apparently there was some conflict between the owner and the artist, which he unloaded on me before telling me to get another artist at their shop to do my tattoo, and insulting the previous artist. I am aware that there isn't typically refunds on a deposit, and if they were simply not going to refund me I wouldn't have left the review as a staff member leaving is out of their control, but shouting over the phone is unprofessional for an employee, let alone the owner of the business. I was told they needed to figure things out, I provided my number, and they said they would call me back. That was a week ago and I have not heard anything. I'm not bothering to call back and chase down my $100 as I'm not interested in listening to more of the owner's personal problems. I wouldn't trust my skin to someone who acts so unprofessionally, so wouldn't be comfortable going into the shop to have another artist there do the work. I'm sure the artists here are great, but I wouldn't recommend having to risk dealing with the owner, and would look for a shop elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Was a great experience getting Helix pierced with Nancy! She was so friendly and informative and made my experience very seamless and quick. Walked in with a bit of hesitation, but I was quickly made comfortable by Nancy. Will definitely be recommending this spot to others! Thanks :)

Not only are they incredibly clean it’s also a great atmosphere. Always laughing and making everyone feel welcomed. Positive experience: Had to update the review. Was 5 stars before but had to bring it down because of a bad experience I had. First of all, management/owners are very nice, welcoming, and just great people. However, when I went there for a second appointment and a retouch of the first tattoo I got there, the original artist I got my first one with wasn't working there anymore. So I just let someone else take care of the retouch and the new one. This was a bad idea. The dude wore gloves but literally kept coughing where I felt the mist from his mouth fall on my arm as he was working on me. It was the most disgusting experience I've had while getting a tattoo. He also kept watching a twitch stream while doing the tattoo, swiping or tapping on his dirty phone screen with his gloves, and then touching the tattoo he was working on. I was told the first retouch was free, but since the old artist that did it wasn't working there anymore I had to pay for it. I'm not too upset about it but it rubs me the wrong way. I wish they told me that before hand. Overall a good shop, good people, but needs more consistently good artists.

Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo done by Ricky a couple weeks ago- I was nervous to go to a new artist as most of my tattoos were done previously by another artist but he knocked it out the park- exceeded expectations for sure and I am very happy with the finished product- definitely will come back to him in the future and would happily recommend to others!

Negative experience: I’ve been to many tattoo and piercing shops, and this by far is the worst one. The piercers are far from experienced and they have the worst customer service ever. I walked in on September 23 and got my nose pierced by Jill and left with an inflamed nose and the piercing sinking into my nostril. I had called the following day and spoke to Jill stating what happen she then told me to come into the shop. I told her I would be in and 45 mins prior to close I arrived with my newborn son to have it get looked at and the shop was already closed. Panicking as my nose was red, bumpy, painful and STILL bleeding I had called the nearest tattoo shop and begged them to look at me 10 minutes to close which they did and the piercer was in disbelief with how my nose was pierced. The angle that Jill made was so high up my nose that is was rubbing against my bone in the inside of my nose. The post was too short hence why it kept sinking, and most importantly the piercer that looked at me after told me that if I had kept this in it would create scarred tissue and red bumps. With all this information being relayed to me I called Wild Ink the following day and let Nancy another piercer know the scenario, which she said was sorry, but said they don’t use L shape studs only corkscrews. But nonetheless she said she was going to refund me and took my information down, and would let the shop owner know. I recently called and spoke to Jill again and told her everything that Nancy had told me and she said that Nancy pierces with and L shape stud too and that they would proceed with the refund. Fast forward to today I have yet to get my refund and the entire store is playing telephone. I was told every single time I called that the owner would call me, that the message was already relayed, and at this point I’m fed up. I do not recommend this shop, not unless you want an infection and a headache from playing phone tag with every single person working there. This shop is a nightmare. **Response to Wild Ink** Thanks for your input, but I had called the shop and spoke to Jill letting her know I would be in which to my surprise when I arrived you had closed the shop 30 minutes earlier than your hours of operation. There was no common courtesy from the shop or staff letting me know as a paying customer that you would close earlier than the posted hours. Secondly, addressing your statement about the type of jewelry being used it was most definitely a L shape stud as the piercer at the other shop took it out and confirmed it was. I am also certain it was an L shape stud as there was a horizontal rod poking my bone inside my nose. Lastly, from all the times I spoke to Nancy and Jill there was no mention of me ever needing send photos. When I had called 1 week after initially speaking to Nancy following up with my refund as she said she is just waiting for Hugh to send it she then asked me did I send photos. I told her over the phone that Jill nor herself ever mentioned photos till now. Which she then said okay, I will have Hugh contact you as soon as he sends it. No photos were ever asked from you and if I had known that this would prolong the entire process I would’ve sent it to you immediately. However you asked for photos a week after, which at that point my nose was already scabbing. In addition, I was never even given instructions on where to send the photos. No email, no phone number- nothing was given to me at all. Not to mention from all those times I called every single day for two weeks straight Jill said she was personally texting Hugh so fast forward to almost a month later this is the first time I am hearing back from the store regarding this issue. It’s such a shame that I am now hearing back from the store because I posted a review. This most definitely is not a good way to run a business.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this studio enough. Their tattoo artists are amazing and everyone in the studio is so friendly and welcoming they feel like family! I have gotten tattoos from a lot of artists that have left the studio and have moved on but I will be coming back! Great experience with their piercer Hailey (who is now on mat leave).

Fantastic experience: I went in today to get a pokemon themed "get what you get" and was blown away! First of all, I was greeted warmly by the girl at the front desk~ and was helped immediately. After getting three to choose from, I opted for an adorable Charmander holding a leaf. The artist, Laura, did an amazing job not only on the tattoo, but making me feel relaxed and comfortable during the entire process. She was kind, professional and had a great energy. This was my first time at the location but it won't be my last! Thank you again so much Laura! You're amazing~

Fantastic experience: Very efficient professional and sweet. I had them do my 4.5 month old and they make sure that both piercers are in at the same time so the baby doesn't have to feel it twice. Very knowledgeable about after care as well. Earrings that are chosen are adorable as well.

Fantastic experience: My daughter (16) got her first tattoo here We had a bit of an issue and it was taken care of above and beyond Hugh’s only concern was we were happy with everything and Hailey was phenomenal We normally go to another place for our tattoos but honestly after this experience we will be doing our future tattoos here My daughter and I both got a tattoo by Laura She is AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend her and 100% recommend wild ink Also I never got a piercing but I witnessed Hailey and one of the other girls piercing a baby’s ears and they were awesome

Fantastic experience: Went in spontaneously to get my Tragus pierced, i was nervous but my piercer Hailey was so comforting! We talked and joked the entire procedure and it was done! Very painless. Shop is also very well kept and clean! Highly recommend going here.

Negative experience: Disorganized from the minute you step in. I never got offered to sign a waiver. I asked twice for a wavier. Got two dermal piercings and they both fell out within less than 2 weeks. Don’t come here. I’d recommend Luck of the Draw in Oshawa. Better quality & service.
