Fantastic experience: Came here around 2pm with a girlfriend after randomly deciding we wanted new tattoos. Very friendly shop, nice waiting area, clean bathroom & very clean shop! Parking was also super nice as it’s winter currently & icy. Both got custom pieces, and waited only an hour and bit. Artist was Eli (sorry if I spelled that wrong) & he did great! I got a hobbit / Lord of the rings inspired key done. Will come back ! Thank you! Definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I had a complicated tattoo cover up done by Ryan. It was my first time going there. He did an amazing job of it. The atmosphere in the shop also makes it a fun place to be. I have a few tattoos and this is the best shop I have been to. I would highly recommend this place and Ryan This tattoo is my favorite and I can't wait to show it off in the Summer. Thank-you

Negative experience: Went in for their flash tattoo day and the staff seemed completely disinterested in us being there - so disinterested that they didn’t even get up to talk to us or ask any questions. Ended up just leaving. Wish the encounter would been more friendly or welcoming, but it just felt cold.

Fantastic experience: My brother in law has gotten a bunch of tattoos at this place over the last couple months and the work is flawless and exactly what he wanted. I'd recommend Parlor Tattoos for sure. GO IRISH!

Negative experience: This shop constantly pushes "$100/hr cheaper than anyone in the city" (or straight-up $100/hr custom tattoos every day), but they mostly charge flat rates per piece anyway—the hourly claim is just flashy misleading marketing to lure people in. They run their entire business through Facebook: all bookings, walk-in announcements, client communication, and deposits. It creates total chaos—messages get buried, appointments forgotten or double-booked, and deposits often "disappear" with little to no accountability or follow-up. Good luck chasing them down for a lost deposit. They operate on high-volume, walk-in rush mode to pump out as many tattoos as possible and keep the cash flowing fast. That leads to slapdash work that frequently needs expensive fixes or cover-ups later. When issues come up? Their go-to response is always the same deflection: "Oh, you didn't do proper aftercare." Classic blame-shift to avoid owning rushed execution.

Negative experience: Owner of the shop acts like a child when being confronted. Shop wasn't that clean and messaging to set up a appointment just get attitude. Told lots of people to never come here. Can comment all u want "owner" but u really need to learn how to act more professional don't understand how u r still in business with how u treat people. Be greatful u still have people coming in with how bad reviews have been about you. Don't waste your time do your research on this shop and this owner. Should be shut down

Fantastic experience: The Parlor Tattoos shop is a friendly and accommodating place. I went there Sat Nov 15/2025 showed Eli some pictures and told my idea for a custom Goonies tattoo. Eli came back in a short period of time with this awesome design and it was what I was picturing in my head, but even better!! It’s a bigger tattoo and it was finished in 3hrs. With the amount of detail it has and the size that’s impressive!!! I am so proud of this tattoo and I’ll will cherish it. Thank you so much To Eli my tattoo artist and Thank you The Parlor Tattoos!!

Negative experience: I really wish I could give a 0 stare rating because this shop is run by adults being children, they block you when you have a discussion or disagreement with the owner and his wife. Stop blocking people because you can’t handle peoples comments This is childish behaviour from a “professional tattoo shop”

Fantastic experience: Walked in today to get the Bogo rainy day walk in flash and I absolutely love them. Eli was fantastic! The whole shop was a great vibe too! Clean establishment with friendly funny staff that did great work at a steal of a price . What more could you want? I will be returning next summer when I visit Winnipeg again.

Negative experience: I had went in a couple months back and I was thinking on my time in this shop. It was severely unprofessional. When I had first got to the shop I went into the wrong doors by accident and was standing there for about 30minutes before anyone said anything to me and told me that it was actually on the other side. The whole time I was getting my tattoo, the artist was talking about her abusive ex boyfriend to me and showing me pictures of things I really didn't want to see. I was already having a not great day and wanted to get a tattoo to lift me up and I left more tierd than I had came in. Also my tattoo healed fine, but the bruising was INSANE. I understand the placement would cause some bruising but after talking with my other artist I go to consistently they told me the bruising was excessive for how small of a tattoo, and it was definitely overworked. I'm now getting it covered because I absolutely hate it. I also had noticed that the artist did not sanitize the chair before I sat got my tattoo done. It was during a $50 walkin day and I don't know how many people have sat in that chair before me and after me. Overall my experience here was not great, and I debated leaving a review after reading some of them as whoever responds back doesn't seem professional in any sense. So im honestly not going to be butthurt lol, give me your worst I know the artist who did my work no longer works at this shop but this still needs to be said

Negative experience: Let me be clear — I wasn’t asking for special treatment or to be put ahead of other clients. All I expected was a basic response — even just a quick message saying whether you’re taking the job or not, or a rough time estimate. But instead? Silence. Arrogance. And straight-up ignorance. I reached out multiple times over two weeks — respectfully, patiently, even calling you “sir” out of courtesy — and still got ignored. The few replies I did get were dry and unnecessarily rude, like I was bothering you just by showing interest in your work. Being busy is one thing. Acting like you’re too important to even reply to people properly? That’s just bad character. You’re not a celebrity, you’re a tattoo artist. A very average one, acting like you’re untouchable. LMAO. There was no communication, no respect, and no professionalism. Just ego. If this is how you treat people who come to you with genuine interest, good luck. If you care about being treated like a human being and not like you’re beneath someone, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to get a tattoo. Staff are all very friendly and do their jobs well. Flash tattoos are good size. And custom pieces are prepped fast. Natalia was my artist and I was amazed at how gentle she was on the gun. Almost fell asleep on bicep tat. One on back of calf was pretty painful but not nearly as bad as I've experienced before from another artist at a different location. Good linework. No troubles pulling a straight line here. Definitely recommend The Parlor.

Alley was very polite from the start, explained a basic design to her, and she nailed it, knew exactly what I was envisioning, right down to the style of the numbers. was very compassionate with my sons story. Even asked if I needed a moment, great job, excellent pricing, and best of all , in my neighborhood (shop local....) will go back for sure..

Negative experience: Called to see if a minor could get a tattoo done with guardian consent and being present as well the lady on the phone said we could just to bring id etc then after getting the the tattoo shop and waiting for two hours she said a completely different thing should have got her facts straight the first time during the phone call totally wasted my time I had to take off work and made the youth feel very let done and upset.

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen Fat Phil twice now for 2 tattoos and he has been excellent both times. He takes an idea and turns it into reality. Super easy to get along with, fantastic stories to tell and he takes the experience of a tattoo to the next level. I will definitely be back for more.

Negative experience: messaged the facebook place and accused them of hiring/supporting a open racist . after finding out this man was fired from their shop in may i apologized, and the owner started getting really rude in the chat saying i needed to take responsibility for what i said to him even tho i apologized right away… he then threatened to post our conversation to his “20k followers” to “embarrass “ me. after i continued to apologize for my mistake and tried to end the conversation as well he kept conversing with me being still mad over my false accusation (which i again apologized for) . after i left a review he messaged me threatening to sue me. all im saying is 100% true i have screen shots of our conversation. people make mistakes

Negative experience: I’ve gone three times on different days and times. It’s always locked and no one answers the phone. I tried to get a tattoo and piercing but just went somewhere else.
