She is so lovely and talented, and did a VERY carful, thorough job with my tattoo. Pain was completely manageable, even the shading was light work, and I am over the MOON with the final result!! Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with Olga Tattooing, an independent artist. After getting a tattoo from her, she completely ghosted me and never responded about the touch-up that was supposed to be included. During the appointment, she also spent much of the time speaking negatively about political issues and expressing hostility toward Russians, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I brought up my concerns, the manager of the establishment handled the situation very poorly. Instead of taking accountability or trying to resolve the issue, she dismissed my experience and blamed me, which I found both unprofessional and unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Been getting a bunch of tattoos lately and this has been my favourite experience so far! Booked here because I wanted a custom done in one of the artists’ (Ky’s) style and gave them creative liberty on it and was not disappointed. Had to reschedule and we found a way to do that easily, and on the day of they took their time to give suggestions on how to make the placement work even better than what we originally discussed. It was fun and comfortable to be on the table!

Fantastic experience: I came to see Jessica on the day of the shop’s Halloween party and DANG what a great vibe! The shop was so busy and everyone was having a great time. Jessica is the best. I picked a piece of her Halloween flash (a little cowboy ghost!!) and she made me feel so comfortable and she was great to talk to. She also was so speedy which is awesome for my body but sad cuz I could have talked to her all day!! I hopefully will be back for a bigger piece really soon :)

Fantastic experience: i went in last week to get a tattoo from darny. it was a custom piece, and i have to say that it is absolutely perfect. it was exactly like the references i gave them, but better, as i could tell their own style was sprinkled in and shone through. it's a really beautiful piece, and i love it more every day! the tattooing experience was also amazing. they spent some extra time going over the design and editing it to fit my placement better, which i really appreciated and respected. and their application of the tattoo was honestly painless with their lines and shading turning out wonderfully. overall, im in love with my tattoo, and i will be coming back :) <3 thank you, darny!

Fantastic experience: I STRONGLY recommend Gypsy Cat Tattoos! My artist was LJ Hutchinson and he was extremely helpful and professional. I was travelling from Saskatoon for the Manitoba Marathon Race and normally places need a consultation but he was very understanding about my dilemma. His creativity for the piece was fantastic and EXACTLY what I was looking for! I felt very supported, safe, and respected with LJ. I would absolutely go there again, I can not recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: My mom and I came in to get matching tattoos and a few other little add on ones - and we love them so much!! LJ is truly the best! It’s always such a pleasure getting tattooed by him. He is so kind and welcoming, makes you feel super comfortable and I’ve had always had nothing but a positive experience with him. He is super professional, accommodating and so great at what he does. I’ve seen him multiple times now and have followed him to whatever shop he has been at. There is no other artist in the city I would go to and I could not recommend him enough!! Fantastic experience: Today I had my memorial tattoo for my dad with LJ Hutchinson. The experience was welcoming and a joyful experience for a tattoo that holds so much meaning to me. Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Dawson Martin enough! I’ve seen him for a few tattoos, and he’s always been so kind and welcoming. On my most recent one (which was another awesome flash piece by him!) I started getting really shaky and light headed, so we took a break and he made sure I ate and drank something to get my sugars up. He ended up being able to schedule me in for the following day to finish, as he didn’t want to risk anything since I wasn’t improving much. Came in the next day, he finished it up and checked in multiple times to make sure I was good (which thankfully, I was lol). His art is amazing, as is he with clients. Super professional, and his calm and chill demeanour rubs off on you. As for the shop itself, super clean and welcoming! I’ve met a few other artists from GC and they’re always so kind. Will definitely be booking in with Dawson again. :)

Darny had such professional insight, and was just the sweetest and friendliest person ever!! They were super gentle throughout the process and I was so relaxed and comfortable. Fantastic experience: ive been pierced and tattooed here, always amazing service. definitly wished i asked more questions even if i thought they were dumb just so i didnt overload them in the appointment!

Negative experience: I got my left tragus pierced on June 12th and it went well and the service was great. I paid approximately 160$; including jewelry and tip. In the beginning of August I needed to downsize the jewelry so I tried to set up an appointment but I couldn’t book online so I contacted my piercer and she said she no longer works there and recommended i go somewhere else. I have been to two places now and none of them are able to downsize my jewelry because it is a different mechanism to get it screwed in. Now I am stuck with a jewelry that needs to be downsized and I can’t even wear my EarPods in that ear. So frustrating!!!
