Fantastic experience: Great experience. Went a bit ago but held off to make sure everything was good with the tattoo. Everyone was friendly when you arrived and it was great to get a tattoo from Seph.

Negative experience: I got a tattoo from Red a few years ago at South Of Heaven .It was awful. He now works here. I went to see him at this place for a cover up tattoo and I was not happy with the ideas for that either.Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Recently had a piercing done by Keara. She is kind, courteous, discreet, professional, clean, organized, professional and fun. Allowed me to have a friend present as well. I love my new piercing. I have gone to her for all my other piercing maintenance for a couple years but only recently had a fresh one done so there was no doubt who I was going to get to do it. She always provides the highest quality jewellery no cutting corners to save a buck and I appreciate that. She is very clean and knowledgeable about products and techniques making the experience smooth and as painless as possible. Thanks Keara you da best 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: Jeff did a great job, super comfortable getting tattooed by him and he was the first artist I considered letting tattoo my chest. I absolutely love the piece he gave me and I will be more than happy to go back for more. Fantastic experience: Loved my experience getting tatted by Jeff (@hebb on instagram) here. It was a beautiful spot, easy to get to and comfortable. The waiting area is cosy with a lot of great art to pick through. Once on the table, I had a fantastic experience getting my work done. The other artists were friendly and stopped by periodically to check out the tattoo as it was coming in and Jeff was as stoked to do the piece as I was to get it. Overall 10/10 experience and will certainly be coming back for more!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had been seeing Jeff for tattoos for sometime and she brought me to Jeff for a cover-up on my neck. Now I have had a cover-up done once before, and the experience was less then pleasant and the cover-up, well, it wasn't great. Jeff on the other hand, all I can say is WOW! And that's not even a good enough word to explain my experience. Jeff was an absolute dream to deal with. He understood I needed the previous tattoo gone and let me tell you, it's gone! From the understanding of not wanting to go into details of why it needed to be gone, the care taken to ensure its gone and just the overall relaxing experience, I HIGHLY recommended Good Mourning Tattoo Company, and even more so, Jeff's expertise. Fantastic experience: I recently had my L-bar nose piercing fall out and I couldn't find my backup. I also couldn't get the post and threaded ball piercing back in that was originally put in after healing (by another piercer). Keara responded quickly to my instagram DM requesting help and she fit me in same day. She put my jewlery back in no problem, not even the tiny ball could stop her! She was very kind and we geeked out about my titainum allergy!

Fantastic experience: I was considering getting a tattoo for awhile and I landed on Jeff from Good Mourning Tattoo Company for my first tattoo. My experience with Jeff was excellent from the start as he had great communication via email and a detailed website and FAQ page so I knew what to expect. It was very easy to pay my deposit and he was very helpful when I needed to postpone my appointment due to a conflict. Day of my appointment Jeff was on time and gave a friendly greeting as soon as I entered the shop. He efficiently gauged my expectations of size and placement for my tattoo, prepared his station, and the stencil. He walked me through what he was doing at every step of the process from cleaning the area, placing the stencil, and actually tattooing. Jeff regularly asked me how I was doing, how my arm felt, if I needed a break, etc. At the end of the tattooing process he gave a detailed explanation on aftercare, providing many easy to understand examples on what to do and what can happen in the healing process. Throughout the entire experience Jeff was friendly, enthusiastic, and professional. I could not have asked for a better experience when receiving my first tattoo. Not to mention the final result looks amazing. I would come back again. ETA: I’ve gone to see Jeff for three tattoos now and I couldn’t be happier. All three of my tattoos look so amazing!

Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten two tattoos from Jeff now—one custom piece and one flash—and both turned out amazing. His work is super clean, detailed, and exactly what I was hoping for. The space was an eclectic array of art, entertainment, and buzzing with folks that clearly enjoy their work and their environment. My artist this day was Xan, I was so pumped to get this tattoo and everything thing from the shop to the artist were beyond my expectations. I’m a moderately tattooed human, so I’ve had loads of experience in shops as a customer- this by far- was the best yet! I plan on coming back for some more as soon as possible! Fantastic experience: I flew over 1600km from America to Winnipeg solely to get a piece from Seph; she's THAT good. I felt like we were on the same wavelength during the design process from start to finish; her gothic style is uniquely romantic. Her needlework is immaculate and she was patient and kind the entire time, even in the final hours when I got squirmy from the pain. I'll treasure this piece forever, and hopefully one day I'll be back for more.

Fantastic experience: I got a peony on my knee from Jeff (aka Hebb). The lines are so crisp and clean. He was very gentle and made sure I stayed comfortable during the whole process. Fantastic experience: After being a fan of Jeff's work for ages, I decided to pop in and flip through some flash. I found something I liked and decided to book it. Fantastic experience: I came into this beautiful tattoo shop to get a stick and poke tattoo from a guest artist, Planty Pokes. I got a sweet green vein on the top of my left ear and love it! The shop folks we're rad and friendly, love the look and feel and was stoked to see a vhs tv playing old classics in the waiting room. I found the Dark Crystal and for sure had to turn it on!

He creates a very friendly, clean, and upbeat atmosphere. I got my first tattoo by him a month ago, a duck design from his flash books. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the session and were transparent with pricing & other aspects of their practice, which unfortunately is not always common in what can be an exploitative industry. Fantastic experience: Good Mourning is the perfect shop to get your next tattoo! I’ve been tattooed by Jeff several times, and every time is such a fantastic experience - he always makes you feel safe and comfortable, and is such a great artist. I’ve also been tattooed by Ariel recently, who is lovely to talk to, really puts you at ease during the tattoo, and does beautiful work. The shop is bright, clean, cute, and comfortable. I highly recommend booking with anyone at this shop!

Fantastic experience: First tattoo with Good Mourning and the experience was exceptional. The staff was amazing and everything was super clean and sterile. The artists take a lot of pride in their work and making sure you are happy with your tattoo through the whole process from booking your appointment all the way to following up and after care. Wish I lived closer so I could go back for more. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Fantastic experience: Jeff did an amazing job and was super accommodating! I have a crazy work schedule travelling and being on-call and he was able to fit me in on short notice. He was very friendly and it was all-in-all a great tattoo experience. I will be returning in the future for sure :)

Fantastic experience: Loved my experience with Jeff at Good Mourning Tattoo. He opened on a Sunday for us to get matching tattoos for my granddaughter and myself. Definitely a caring and positive vibe. Beautiful and welcoming shop! Great art, fun and charming personality, easy to find location.

Fantastic experience: Met Jeff at a tattoo convention and he had a good energy and picked up on exactly what I was looking to get done. When I made an appointment he was flexible with dates and even came in on a day off because I had to drive a half day to get there and would have lost two days of work for tattoo and travel. Shop was clean, music and conversation was great. I will definitely be back to get more. Maybe a custom or time my trip to get one done from his wide collection of flash on his drop in days.

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo from Jeff. He made the whole experience feel very enjoyable and made it as comfortable as possible even though I felt kinda stressed. He also had no problem with the last minute changes I asked for. I had my tattoo done in April and it healed wonderfully and looks amazing. Thanks again for the great service!)
