Fantastic experience: My daughter and I just had our first tattoo done by Simran! Was such a great experience. She was so patient and answered all of our questions. Really took the time to ensure we were happy with what we were getting and that we were comfortable during the whole appointment. The rest of the staff was great as well, such a friendly comfortable place. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: About a month ago I decided I wanted a new piercing and I’m so glad I decided to walk into Perfect Image in Masonville mall. I was greeted and helped right away by the lovely girl up front. Tash was my piercer and I’m so glad she was. She made me feel very comfortable and safe. She answered every and all questions I had and made me feel at ease, since I was feeling very anxious. She’s a true professional and I would recommend anyone who needs any kind of piercing to go to her. The whole atmosphere there was very clean, sanitized and I felt very confident with the whole appointment from start to finish and even when I had questions about aftercare a week later they were more than helpful! Thank you lovely people at Perfect Image. I will be back!!

Negative experience: Two girls at the front are so disgustingly rude like please go anywhere else but this store, the entire time i was SPEAKING TO THEM, they were side eyeing me and whispering about me... you guys are working a minimum wage job at a mall, let alone you're both are at least in your 30s. Your bad personality really reflects in your looks babes. anyways insanely lazy workers like do your job or just quit, no ones forcing you guys. anyways never coming back here again thanks!

Fantastic experience: Victoria and Ashley at the front are great! They got me and my friend set up with a piercing so fast; my friend was nervous about the piercing but Darcie did a good job going through with it and the piercing healed up with no infections. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I did a walkin with Simran and she designed an amazing ornamental foot piece. She was very patient with elements I wanted to change and placements as well, very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable throughout the session. Highly suggest Simran as an artist!!

Fantastic experience: I had such a good experience at Perfect Image. Emily was so lovely to deal with at the beginning. Super helpful, easy to talk to, and just made everything feel comfortable and not intimidating at all. Tash did my piercing and honestly did such a great job. She was calm, confident, and made it quick and seamless. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing, which makes all the difference when someone is coming at you with a needle lol. Taylor is a very talented artist, and most importantly he really listened to all my ideas and needs. He designed my tattoo creatively and thoughtfully. And he was incredibly kind and professional throughout the whole process. Thanks so much Taylor!

Positive experience: I hot my upper helix priced in November and 2 week later the jewelry broke .so I called the Masonville store and the lady who was on the phone was very nice and understanding saying that I could have been a manufacturing problem and that it just happened on occasion. So 2 weeks later I go in and I found that the people who I told what happened were a little rude. I got this issue resolved and ended up getting a new price of jewelry. I love going here and I will continue to go here especially after them being so nice on the phone the only thing that I personally didn’t like was how the person on the phone and the people in the store were completely different. But overall great community to get any peircing.

Fantastic experience: I came to Perfect Image earlier today for a jewellery change for my daith and a new helix piercing; I was so pleased with my experience. The front desk lady (I unfortunately did not learn her name) was so incredible and so informative, she was so helpful when I was trying to make a decision on what jewellery I wanted. Tash was my piercer, and she was so wonderful, she made me feel so comfortable and the piercing itself was the least painful I’ve ever had as she was so gentle and precise (and I’ve had 18 piercings done on my ears!). She was so friendly and attentive, and we had a great chat. I will absolutely be back again and I would recommend coming here to anyone who wants a new piercing, whether a they’re a newbie or experienced with piercings. Thank you so much to everyone who made this experience great!

Negative experience: This is the worst piercing place I have ever visited, and I've been to shady $6 piercers in Korea. I got a nose and vertical labret piercing on separate occasions. The nose piercing, after weeks of an irritation bump that just would NOT go away, I went to the piercer to show how my bump was LITERALLY engulfing into piercing and basically bleeding while pulsing. They told me my piercing was fine. Just by looking at my nose, I could tell something was clearly wrong, so I trust my gut and go to another piercing shop that has APP certified members and they told me it was absolutely insane for a professional piercer to tell me to keep the piercing in? I gave you guys another chance with my labret piercing, and the short bar that was given initially was so short that another irritation bump formed and I had to go to a different piercing store to get it changed and the bar lengthened. I don't know how this place is allowed to stay opened with such incompetent piercers. A mutual told me about how their eyebrow piercing rejected here, but getting it repierced somewhere else showed no issues. I wish I listened to his story and never spent my time and over $150 here. It's extremely unfortunate because the front desk staff are sweet.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her belly button pierced for her birthday recently, and the visit was professional, very sanitary, and fast!

Negative experience: Went to get jewelry replaced for an 8 year old rook piercing. Don’t think the person cleaned the jewelry (they told me to wait outside while they got the jewelry ready) and she definitely didn’t clean my ear. Didn’t really think much of it at the time because the piercing was obviously healed. Woke up to my ear extremely swollen, red and very painful. On my way to the hospital to get it removed by doctors because it is too swollen for me to get it out myself.

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely experience last night getting my piercings switched out! Whoever was working the front desk lastnight at around 6:45pm were so sweet and uplifting! The lady who also did my piercing (brown hair, I believe her name was Darcey?) was amazing! She also helped immensely with helping me remove piercings I could not get out myself. Thankyou guys so much! I highly recommend them and their amazing team at Masonville :)

Negative experience: I recently visited them on Thursday, July 10th, for a piercing. The guy who did my piercing was super nice, and I wish I knew his name because he made the experience relatively pleasant. However, things took a turn after the piercing earring fell out on Tuesday night. I thought the earring was broken, so I went back to the store expecting a quick fix. Unfortunately, the guy wasn't there, and I ended up having to deal with a woman named Darcy. And my experience with her was nothing short of horrendous. From the moment I approached her, she had an attitude like I was inconveniencing her by being there. I asked if she was going to re-poke the piercing, and her response was something like, "The only way to avoid that is if you don’t get it done." Not only was she rude, but she never acknowledged that I was having to go through the pain again because of their mistake. It gets worse. She took a ridiculously long time during the process which means longer time in pain and while I was making sure the other earring was tightened up, she snapped at me, "Don’t play with these. Maybe that’s why it came off." Seriously? Why would I play with something that hurts by touch? It’s not like I’m enjoying the experience. I am just making sure I dont have to go through this again for other ear When I told her I paid a decent amount for the piercing (which was $107, by the way, not exactly cheap), she had the audacity to say, "Well, you didn’t pay anything extra." no one charges $107 just to pierce a regular earlobe. I spent a lot of money for a service that should’ve been done right the first time, and now I’m back in pain, getting it redone. The least she could've done was offer an apology or some sympathy, but no, she acted like she was doing me a favor by fixing the issue. A simple apology and a bit of understanding would’ve gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling even worse about the whole experience. Honestly, I won’t be coming back, and I’d advise others to think twice before going to a place where they’ll be treated like this.

Fantastic experience: Went in a few weeks ago with my friend for a VCH. Everyone there was so welcoming and friendly. Tash did our piercings. She explained the whole process in detail before starting, then went through each step as she did it. I felt very comfortable. She was very meticulous with the piercing positioning. I went back 4 weeks later to get my HCC and it was the exact same experience. Tash is very professional and a really nice person who makes you feel comfortable in a vulnerable situation. Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable experience — I do NOT recommend this place, they botched my ear! I went in for a piercing expecting a professional experience, and instead I was left waiting over 2 hours despite being told the wait would be around 30 minutes. That was just the beginning. The piercing itself was done incorrectly, which I found out the hard way. Within days, I was in severe pain, my ear was inflamed and rejecting the jewelry, I got a second opinion from a much more credible and experienced piercer, who confirmed that the angle and placement was completely wrong. The jewelry was being pushed out because of how poorly it was done, and if I had left it in any longer my ear would be completely ruined. I spent a full week in pain, lost money, and had to remove the piercing entirely. Now I’m left with a sore, irritated ear and jewelry I can’t even use. This place caused me physical harm, wasted my time and money, and clearly lacks the professionalism or training required for safe body piercings. If you care about your health, go elsewhere. Don’t risk going through what I did.

Not only was it quick and painless (yes ladies!), but her detailed explanation and overall execution was pristine. Even after she explained exactly what she would be doing, she reiterated as we went along, step by step. I went back 4 weeks later to get my HCC and it was the exact same experience. Awesome person, super nice and I felt comfortable in an otherwise vulnerable situation. Traveled an hour to see her and wouldn't go to anyone else. I have about 20 piercings and she is hands down the best!

Positive experience: I got a tattoo here and my artist was amazing and super nice, but the man at the front was not. I came in a week earlier to book my tattoo, paid the deposit, and everything was set. When I came in for my appointment, I explained that I had left my wallet in the car. I had already signed the papers, and the man told me it was fine to leave for a few minutes. However, before I even left, he started giving my spot to someone else, saying I was a "cancellation" and telling the person on the phone to hurry. I grabbed my wallet from my car, and as I was walking back, he called me saying I had to reschedule because I wasn't supposed to leave. The whole process took less than three minutes. We decided to give the place another try, but again, the man at the front made us feel rushed, especially during booking and consultations. His customer service really needs improvement.

Fantastic experience: Walked in with a crazy idea for a piercing today and Tasha was so incredibly helpful! She was so nice and made the experience 10x better! She made my crazy idea a reality and I gotta say, it’s my favourite piercing!

The staff were super helpful with all 3 of us finding which piercing each of us were getting and extremely knowledgeable about each of the piercings and after care and the shop was immaculate! Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this piercing shop. The piercer was not friendly at all—rolling her eyes and making faces like she was annoyed just because I needed a moment to decide on my piercing. It wasn’t like I was taking forever. this was my second time getting pierced after not being happy with my first one. I came back the next day, paid again, and still got the rude attitude. The shop wasn’t busy, and the whole process took less than 10 minutes, so I don’t understand the impatience. Instead of feeling comfortable and confident in my decision, I felt rushed and nervous. A professional piercer should be patient and supportive, not dismissive and rude. Definitely not coming back or recommending this place

Fantastic experience: Spur of the moment septum piercing for me today! And I have to say from the moment I walked in to when I left this place was amazing!! The wonderful young lady who greeted me and took my payment was an absolute delight! And my piercer Tash was awesome! Explained my whole procedure and before I knew it I was done! And now I have a beautiful septum piercing! I will be back most definitely! %!!

Fantastic experience: I had such a fun time with Tash getting my conch pierced. She also changed an another piece of jewelry for me while I was in. I have had most of previous my piercings done at Perfect Image downtown, but I will definitely be going back to Tash at Masonville for my next one. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Her studio was decorated with cute morbid pieces that reflected her humour while matching the aesthetic of the shop. I appreciated the thought and effort she put in her work. She had great advice on aftercare and future jewelry changes. I initially didn’t think of the mall as a place to get piercings beyond Claire’s (), but I am so glad I did. The hours are convenient, parking is easy, and the shop is clean and brightly lit. All of the staff made the experience so easy. I look forward to coming back in for my next one!

A little nervous going in but the staff was super welcoming, set me at ease, and made the booking process very smooth. Matt is an artist! He had to work with a tough existing tattoo on my shoulder - definitely not an easy job - but he was able to work all kinds of magic, took his time, and reworked it into masterpiece! Fantastic experience: My partner and I drive to see Natasha (store manager/piercer) all the way from Hamilton just to get pierced by her! My piercings seem healed when I walk out the door! She’s given me such great experiences that I’ve driven out to see her 5 times in the last 6 months to get 4 piercings and a dermal! I am addicted! I have 23 piercings so I’m experienced in the piercing world… I recommend Natasha highly!!!! 5 stars isn’t enough!!!!
