Fantastic experience: My 6-year-old daughter got her ears pierced last night with Nina for her birthday and it was such a great experience. Nina was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding the whole time. After the first ear, my daughter got really nervous about doing the second because it hurt more than she expected, but Nina was amazing with her. She took the time to calmly explain everything she was going to do before she did it so my daughter felt comfortable and knew what to expect. She never rushed us and was so gentle and reassuring, which made such a difference. My daughter ended up leaving feeling really proud of herself and so excited about her new earrings. They also were so kind and walked us to our car in the dark and rain because I had parked pretty far away and they wanted to make sure we got there safely. That was such a thoughtful gesture and really meant a lot. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and for making my daughter’s birthday so special. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I got both my nipples and navel pierced at the same time by Nina. As someone who’s only had their ears pierced as an infant and a 2nd ear lobe hole pierced by Claire’s and later rejected, I was a little nervous going into it. I messaged Nina on instagram 2 years ago. She was so pleasant, informative and professional. I told her about my concerns and sensitivities and she gave me facts and support. 2 years later I worked up the courage to get the piercings I’ve wanted for 20 years and I’m so glad I did! Nina walked me through every step of the process. She took the time to mark out my piercings properly and allowed me to approve before proceeding with the needle. The studio is beautiful, cozy, clean and all the staff are very welcoming. Can’t recommend Nina enough!

Fantastic experience: i’ve gotten my second lobe piercings re-pierced here and my belly button, and both times my piercings have been smooth and relatively painless. i think i had the same piercer each time but both times she was awesome and definitely helped me manage my nerves and kept me calm. the next piercing i get im definitely coming back.

Fantastic experience: My daughter googled and found this place to get her belly button done. I was a little intimidated coming into the shop, but when we walked in, Jacqui was SO inviting and immediately put you at ease and made you feel so welcome. She chatted with my daughter and helped her to relax before her piercing. Nina did her piercing and was amazing. She explained what to expect, was super confident, calm and didn't cater to my daughters fears (just that she chatted with her the whole time, but didn't give my daughter the time to fixate on being scared-VERY needle phobic kid!) It was done in no time and no tears from her! She was so great that I went back the next day to get a piercing done that I've wanted for years but too scared. Nina did an awesome job and Im so happy it's done! We'll be back for more! The shop also has a very cool vibe and I loved the aesthetic of the whole place!!

Fantastic experience: I went too addictive tattoo to get my septum pierced by one of their amazing piercers Nina. I have been wanting this piercing for years but had way too much anxiety around actually doing it. I thought I would freak out. When I arrived I was very overwhelmed and anxious. Nina was so sweet, soft spoken, and reassuring. When we got to the piercing station Nina explained everything in such a calm tone. They explained the whole process and the discomfort I might feel but reassured me the entire time. I’m a huge baby but Nina made the whole experience amazing. Nina even gave me a juice box and a sticker (even though I am a full adult… everyone loves a juice box). Highly recommend visiting this parlour and seeing Nina. Thank you Nina

Fantastic experience: I've been get pierced by Jacqui since the year they opened. Like 30 years now. Both my daughters and my husband have been pierced by her. I would never go anywhere else. She's professional, helpful, the shop is always immaculate and she offers tons of aftercare. I have some complicated piercing and have never had an issue with them that Jacqui couldn't fix or wasn't my poor aftercare that caused the issue. I advise Jacqui to all those needing piercings. I have also had two tattoos done at Addictive. One by Jay and one by Madison. They are perfect. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After bad service at one shop Jackie was my saving grace! She had all my pericings heal and redid them all for me properly, she’s pierced my ears, my nose my tongue you name it! There is not a single shop I recommend in town above hers! Family friendly to good vibes and amazing work, I’ve been a customer for 20 years ( not that I’ve been much these days! ) and I have nothing but the most love for the effort they put into their craft and their customers!

Fantastic experience: I went in to have my nose piercing re-done and brought my 12-year-old daughter along. Since she wasn’t allowed in the procedure room, Jacqui kept her entertained by giving her matching “tattoos” on her arms—and I quickly learned (or was reminded of) a few things: • Jacqui is, and always has been, an incredible human being, since piercing me for the first time 24 (!!!) years ago. • I cannot leave my 12-year-old alone in a tattoo shop—she will get up to mischief. • This shop is an absolute gem. • My daughter found “her people” here. As for the piercing, Nina was amazing - kind, professional, and thorough. She took the time to ensure the placement was just right and went over aftercare instructions carefully, even though I’ve had multiple piercings before. All around, an excellent experience. Can’t recommend them enough.

I love everything about Addictive and think it’s a great choice for people looking for tattoos or piercings whether it’s your first or fiftieth. They can accommodate wheelchairs, it’s just best to call ahead so they can put the ramp out for you.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years. Landed here cause I couldn’t find someone to do a hand tattoo. Since, I’ve gotten my 1st, 2nd, 3rd … and so on piercing. I’ve also gotten several tattoos there. Great location. Beautiful place. Parking is hard as it’s downtown, but otherwise, great location. Everyone is professional and the owner is a very friendly and nice person. It’s become my go to place since I first walked in there. Follow their social media if you have time, as they do a lot of giveaways. Also, if you’re not sure about piercing or tattoos, the front person is very knowledgeable, but there are lots of sample folders that you can go through. And also, if you have time, I recommend looking around at their decor. Everytime I go there I see something i haven’t noticed before. I highly recommend this tattoo/ piercing parlour. You won’t regret it !

Jacqui was sooooo good at explaining and preparing my (excited, but nervous) daughter every step of the way, it made both my daughter and her mom & dad feel taken care of. Fantastic experience: Both my daughter and I were in about a month ago for piercings. My 5 year old had been asking relentlessly for months and so we booked in with Nina! Nina is so incredibly patient and kind, she was so gentle with my daughter. My piercings were also smooth sailing and are healing so nicely. During our first visit my daughter only ended up getting 1 earring, so we booked again a few weeks later when she said she was ready for the second one. Unfortunately when we got there she changed her mind so she's still rocking just one earring, but Nina made that visit special still. My daughter wants to go back again and again simply to hang out with Nina I felt badly we had wasted her time slot, but her and Vivian were so kind and reassuring. I'd absolutely recommend Nina for piercings and will be back.. eventually? Maybe? For that second ear!

Fantastic experience: What a great Atmosphere!! Very clean and everyone there was so friendly and kinda. My 5 year got her ears peiced today. let me just say how wonderful the lady who peiced my daughters ears was. She was so kinda and calming and made sure my daughter was comfortable and always asked my daughter for permission before doing anything and explained every to my daughter to make sure she felt safe. I am so happy with how everything went I highly recommend this place and if my daughter would like more peiceings in the future we will definitely come back .

Fantastic experience: Addictive is an experience. Not a transaction. Wouldn't let anyone I know go anywhere else to be pierced. I changed it up once when I was younger and instant regret. From the second you pick up the phone or walk in, instant authenticity and adoration for you as an individual. Speaking for the piercings, I'm indecisive, scared, and need very specific countdowns for anxiety, and I have never walked out of there unsure of or unhappy with any of them. I have zero hesitation in putting my full trust in them. The patience and love these guys have for their profession and clients are above and beyond. It is tremendously professional and well organized, as well. I'm never rushed out, I had about a million questions and concerns about my Medusa and a couple of others, and i was given full, compassionate, and understandable answers to all. And having the memory of a goldfish, I can walk or call in anytime to see what gauge I am and receive the same courtesy and desire to help as someone booking a $700 tattoo. Genuinely, I can't say enough for this team. I mean, I can comfortably walk in there with a sad, defeated face and a stuck jewleey and they're just there with a smile, happy to help asap. Jacqui and I met (I won't age us, just a long time ago haha) and she stole my heart instantly as a human. This establishment is kept to the highest standards, and if you're looking to be treated like a person, unique and complex in your own way, free to be exactly who you are, instead of just another dollar sign .. this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: We took my daughter in today to get her ears pierced and Nina was incredible! My daughter was ready, but quite anxious and Nina has such a calming nature and was very good with her. She was reassuring, made sure to speak directly to my daughter, letting her know everything that was happening and that she was in charge of the pace and every step. My daughter left feeling great and proud of herself and is really happy with her new piercings. Would definitely recommend Nina to any parent whose child is ready to have their ears pierced

Fantastic experience: My cat passed away a month ago and I wanted his paw print done. I messaged Chris because he's a cat guy! Once I was ready he was able to book me in pretty quickly. He got everything ready and made sure I liked the print before we did it. When we were done I told him it looked fake. He did such a good job. I couldn't of found anyone better to do this special tattoo for me. He was very informative about after care and said I could message him with any questions. From the beginning to the end of my visit it was a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. If I get my way he won't see the last of me. Thank you Chris for your amazing work. Fantastic experience: I recently took my son to Nina at Addictive for a bridge piercing. The studio was incredibly clean and we felt welcome right away. Nina is an absolute delight. She explained all the steps to us up front, and then again as she was going through them so there were no surprises. She made the whole appointment fun, and we knew my son was in great hands. We got great after-care instructions and have had no issues. My son can't wait for his next piercing with Nina!

Fantastic experience: As soon as I started looking into it, I knew I’d only take my kids to a professional piercer when they decided to get their ears pierced. Nina’s Instagram is very informative and I followed her instagram for a couple of years until my daughter decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. We’re big on teaching our kids about consent and bodily autonomy. I really appreciated Nina’s focus on that both online and in the studio. Booking through her was very easy and she answered all my questions before the appointment. When we were there, Nina spoke directly to my daughter and explained everything in a comforting age-appropriate way. Nina was so great with my daughter and I can’t imagine it being a more positive experience than it was! I also got my nose pierced the same day. We followed all of the aftercare instructions Nina gave us and the piercings have healed beautifully (now 6 weeks out)! My daughter is thrilled and has been so excited to show off her piercings! As far as the studio, I’ve never been in a tattoo place before and have to admit I was a bit intimidated before going in but we felt welcome as soon as we were greeted at the front counter! Everyone was very nice and professional. The studio was very clean. We felt comfortable and knew we made the right decision going with Nina!

Fantastic experience: I got my bridge piercing done a few days ago. My partner called beforehand and they were able to make an appointment the same day. I was very nervous, but Nina was very calming and made the whole experience so easy. After the piercing, she gave me a quick rundown on aftercare and gave me a more in-depth pamphlet to being home. My piercing looks great and it was a fantastic experience, I will 100% be coming back for future piercings.

Fantastic experience: Nina did my septum about a year ago. She is kind and very welcoming. She talked me through the piercing like it was my first one which is great cos all piercings are different. I left w her card that had the date, gauge size and how long the healing process would be, along w instructions on how to take care of it. My mom used to go here 20 years ago and had piercings done by Jacqui, she was happy to see things are still up to the standards they were back then! Highly recommend this shop!!

Fantastic experience: I got an industrial by Nina. She was great. She explained every step and gave detailed after care. Once the piercing was done she let me sit while my body processed. Gave me an orange juice and talked me through it. I love my new piercing ❤️

Fantastic experience: About 6 months ago, I came into the shop wanting to cover a quote tattooed on my neck. I spoke briefly with Jacqui, and a few other artists to find the perfect fit. The butterfly was done with Nick C and he without a doubt exceeded all expectations. The ink set nicely, the tattoo is beautifully drawn, and he has such a positive energy. I’ve since been trying to decide what to get next! Thank you so much for the experience, and I look forward to working with any one of this shops artists. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely adore Nina! She did my rook a while back and more recently my septum. I’m so absolutely in love with both of them and when I ran into problems with my rook while it was healing, she got back to me super quickly about how to approach the situation; my problems with it went away almost immediately. Her workspace is always clean and organized and she’s very welcoming, kind and professional. She walked me through the steps before doing the piercings as well as when she was actually doing them. Could not recommend her more <3

Fantastic experience: Nina is lovely! She is so very talented and helpful. I originally went in to get some jewelry changed and to have two old piercings re-pierced, and left with all of that done and a new piercing. She just makes the whole process easy.

Fantastic experience: Came in to get my first tattoo, Jesse was my artist. From the initial consultation, the design, placement and completion of tattoo could not have asked for a better experience. Sitting there for 6 hours you see and hear what a great work environment and team of positive artists they have there. Clean, comfortable and positive . Wanted one tattoo but I think I’ll be going back for more, I think that’s why they named it Addictive tattoo Thanks.
