Fantastic experience: I chose Black Sheep for my first ever piercing because of the Google reviews I read, so I feel it's only fair to give back and confirm what all the glowing reviews have said regarding Chris and his piercing. It was a very professional and comfortable experience (all things considered). I was a little apprehensive about what to expect both during the visit and the aftercare, but Chris' professionalism made everything so easy. Chris is methodical but also personable, making people feel at ease with the process. The clinical cleanliness made it so that there has been no pain or irritation after the piercing. I would definitely recommend Chris and Black Sheep for piercings.

While she was a bit nervous, he talked her through it and even did some deep breathing exercises. Overall, my daughter gave him two thumbs up and/or 10 out of 10. Negative experience: Unprofessional called the shop several times through the day(5 times ) no answer when I walked in to ask a question had to wait 45 minutes just to talk to somebody all I wanted was just a piercing …… wow

Fantastic experience: Very lovely place and has a peaceful atmosphere. Went in a few months ago for a piercing and was a bit scared TBH but Chris is a patient human thankfully. I'd say the pain level (septum piercing) was 1or2/10 and this is coming from someone who isn't the best fan of needles. Piercing has also healed well with no issues (I mean I do get a runny nose often and that's because it's winter. Just wear a face mask you'd be fine). So all in all, you'd definitely be in safe hands if you choose to go there. Would definitely recommend.

He was joking with my daughter (although she doesn’t understand) and laughing with my husband and I. Fantastic experience: My 7 year old wanted her ear lobes pierced for her birthday and this was THE recommended place everywhere I asked. After our visit/experience, I can clearly see why! We had great conversation with him while he sanitized, measured, and marked our piercings, and he is so calming right before he does the piercing - reminds you to breathe and finishes the job smoothly. He takes his time, but he is so particular and precise in what he does - which is something we appreciated a lot. Thorough cleaning instructions afterwards too! I went with Blacksheep because they had good reviews and the shop looked cute. We are new to town so had no idea where to go but this is definitely the spot ! We couldn’t have had a more professional and better experience. The piercer was amazing and friendly (I think his name is Chris). I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for piercings.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Black Sheep regarding getting my baby girl's ears pierced. Chris promptly returned my call and provided detailed answers to all my questions over the phone. Chris exhibited exceptional patience and care while attending to my 7.5-month-old baby girl during our appointment the following day. Despite her continuous crying, he remained composed and attentive. Chris meticulously marked the ear placement, using hoop placement to illustrate the alignment. He also administered a numbing agent, and although my baby cried, I was genuinely impressed by his dedication to taking his time and explaining the entire process to us, including aftercare instructions. I wholeheartedly recommend his services, and for any future piercings, Chris would be my top choice!

Negative experience: I’ve gone here twice to try and get my daughters nose pierced, online says they’re open and there door tells the time they’re open, but both times they were closed.

Chris was so friendly and welcoming, and did a phenomenal job on my nose stud. The place is clean, comfortable, and I was given great instructions on how to take care of my new piercing. Chris took a look for me and recommended redoing one side. I let it heal and when he repierced my daughter's ear, everything went perfectly. He made both baby girl and I feel comfortable. I didn't feel rushed through the process, he took his time to mark the hole so it could be positioned properly and even. Fantastic experience: I have gone to Chris for my industrial, medusa, lobes, and conch piercings. He's very easy going and makes you as comfortable as can be. He is very friendly but still professional. All of the piercings I've gotten done have healed beautifully and were pierced perfectly. I appreciate this everytime because of how important placement is to me. He’s always patient and uses the most gorgeous jewelry. I have never had any issue with any piercing from here since my first visit and have been no where else since. He pierced my baby daughters ears last week and she’s 3 months old. They have been healing beautifully and he made the entire service a dream. Fantastic experience: UPDATE: Kid (now adult) has been back for several piercings since our first visit. In her most recent visit, she wanted two piercings in her left ear and Chris noticed that the helix piercing in that ear was badly infected. He carefully cleaned out the infection and they scheduled another appointment for the desired new piercings with him asking her to check in a few times before that appointment so that he could make sure it's healing well. Again, he didn't charge her. She bought a few bottles of cleaning solution and though the cleaning was brutally painful, she (and I) deeply appreciate the care he took and that he didn't just go ahead with the additional piercings that may have caused new problems. Kid also wanted me to mention how precise and professional he is with the piercings, always making sure they're perfectly placed. Great service. Highly recommend. Kid took out her spider bite piercings the day before we traveled to Columbus so that she could have her senior pictures taken with an Ironwood Wolf (so obviously we had a lot financially in this) and couldn't get one of them back in. The place she had the piercing done wasn't open so we went to Black Sheep where they gave her advice about the new lip rings she was trying to put in and put in another pair that she was very happy with. The technician was nice and professional and the kid really liked his work so she returned to get a piercing across the top of her nose once she turned 18 some months later. She's very happy with their work and plans to go back for more piercings.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give 10 stars! I went here for advice on an old piercing that was healed (not done here) I recently switched it out but noticed it looked irritated. After another shop said I was paranoid, black sheep told me I wash correct and that the bar was too short and that it was irritating my old healed hole. Efficient, effective and kindly they removed my old earring, replaced it and told me the proper size bar if I want to replace it in the future. I have been released of so much discomfort ! Thank you

Negative experience: Used to go and support this business all the time for piercings, never made an appointment was always walk in. Now the hours are slowed down and you clearly need an appointment as I tried to walk in but was told “too busy and had to leave”. Gonna stick to Anthony’s in London from now on. Disappointed

Negative experience: Terrible service overall, not professional at ALL. My girlfriend recently got her piercings done there and the guy that did them, Chris was his name, completely made her second's piercings uneven and on top of that, he decided to squeeze her ear which was infected at the time to try and squeeze the pus out, when ultimately it made her ear worse and not better at all and also made it hurt a lot for a long time. He also didn't bother to tell her what he was going to do to try and make the infection go away, he just went straight to squeezing her ear very hard without any warning. I would not recommend this piercing place to anyone.
