Positive experience: Clean enviroment and friendly staff ive only been twice and both were for piercings (Monroe and navel) I got my lip pierced when I was a teen at their old location and I still have it 7 years later, I got my navel pierced earlier this year aswell. Please ask the piercer if you have the correct anatomy first before you get pierced for surface piercings, I had to take out my navel piercing due to rejection but to no fault of the piercing artist, but because I didnt have the correct anatomy. He was very friendly and made me feel at ease during the service.

My 80-year-old dad even got a tattoo, and our artist, Devin, was amazing with him. He was so patient, careful, and friendly. What really stood out to me is that Devin treats every tattoo — big, small, simple, or silly — as something meaningful and important. He understands that when someone asks for a tattoo, they’re asking him to permanently mark their body, and he puts genuine care and pride into his work every single time. The new shop is spotlessly clean, bright, and welcoming. Everyone — from the front desk staff to the other artists — was kind and helpful, especially with my dad, who definitely doesn’t look like your typical tattoo shop customer! The whole experience was comfortable, professional, and full of good energy. If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo, I can’t recommend Advanced Tattoo and Devin Chedour highly enough. Truly outstanding!

Negative experience: Went in for a basic ear lobe piercing. They used a lip stud that is too short for my ear lobes. Very disappointing paid $40 and they couldn’t even use a proper earring.

I got my tattoo done by James, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! He was incredibly professional, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, even though it was just a small tattoo. We each had a different artist and all were amazing. The shop was super clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe. You can tell the whole team takes pride in their work. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality work and a great experience from start to finish. Definitely five stars!

Fantastic experience: I have been to Advanced a few times, Shaun has done my nostril, my septum and re-pierced my ear lobes for me. He’s always 100% professional and my piercings have always healed well. More impressively, today I brought my 10 year old daughter to have her ears pierced. She was very anxious, but very insistent she wanted them done. They had two staff there and did both her ears at the same time- all the while doting on her, bringing her a drink, talking her down and insisting they won’t do it unless she wants them to. She had an amazing experience and is so excited to show off her earrings to her friends at school. I love that they were patient and respectful with her. 100% would recommend Advanced Tattoo and Piercing to anyone looking to get work done.

Fantastic experience: I’m from Kingsville, and I was looking around for a tattoo & piercing shop in Windsor that would do an outer flat helix piercing. The local shop that I went to for my nose piercing and other outer flat helix piercing weren’t open and doing business. I came across this shop and I saw the 4.7 star ranking and some pictures of the work they do. I called the shop, and asked if I could book an appointment. I found out they are a walk in shop, and that the piercing I wanted would only cost $40. I went to the shop yesterday, and filled out a consent & acknowledgment form, and within 3 minutes of waiting, I was called in to get my piercing. I would like to mention that Ty - the piercer who did the piercing for me, was phenomenal. I told him that I wanted my piercing to match the one on the other ear. He made a few markings on my ear to make sure the placement of the new piercing would be symmetrical to the other one. It took a few tries, but eventually I was content with my decision with the marking. Ty was very friendly, easy-going, patient and professional. I even asked to see what earring he was going to put in my new piercing, and I ended up liking the labret earring more than the one that was in my current flat helix piercing on the other ear. I asked him if I could have the two helix earrings match and he said it was no problem, and that it would just cost an extra $10. He switched the old earring out for the new one, and pierced my other ear right afterwards. It was quick and I was out after only being there for 10-15 minutes. I was also sent home with a page with instructions on how to clean my piercing, and Ty let me hold onto the other labret that got switched out in a small ziploc bag. I will definitely be back and get more piercings from them in the future! I was happy with the experience and Ty did a wonderful job.

They all look amazing! We plan on more piercings later this year and will 100% be coming back to see Shaun!

Fantastic experience: I was just there yesterday to get my Daith pierced and have some jewelry changed. I had Ty a junior piercer and he was Incredible!! He was very kind, funny and inviting he is. *DAITH PIERCING* 1. Most importantly, the most important thing I noticed is how important it was to him to keep his hands and his work stations completely clean and steril 5/5★. 2. His ability to have a conversation with you and make you feel comfortable and calm is 5/5★. 3. Getting the piercing itself, was perfection!! I had heard so many times that the Daith was quite painful, so I was a bit nervous but I felt NOTHING!! It felt like I was getting just a simple jewelry change, and not like a needle piercing my cartilage! 5/5★ 4. The aftercare instructions were very thorough. He didn't just hand me a piece of paper and send me on my way; he did give me the paper, but then explained thoroughly how to clean it and even used the photo on the wall to show me every single step to keep my piercing, healthy and clean. 5/5★ *JEWELRY CHANGE* When I asked about getting a jewelry change, I was worried they were going to look at me like 'that's not what we do here, do it yourself'; but that was not the case at all! 1. Again, the importance of everything being steril for Ty and for me was his #1 priority. He asked me to drop all the jewelry on his try without touching anything so he could clean it. 5/5★ 2. There were a few pieces of jewelry I brought that wouldn't fit where I wanted it to, and he suggested a different spot I could put it in, and some of the ones that did fit, he gave me his honest, professional opinion, and told me 'it's nice but doesn't really suit that spot'; instead if just putting it in and letting me walk out looking stupid. It showed he cared. I really appreciated that. 5/5★ All in all, the entire experience was fantastic and Ty's work is impeccable, ESPECIALLY for being a JUNIOR piercer, which says a lot about the person who has been training him... So mad props to the Senior Piercer Shaun!! I would most definitely recommend, and I will absolutely go back!! As a matter of fact I am going back today to get a couple more piercings!! ★★★★★

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo here and a couple piercings! Shaun Blythe did my septum and rocked it. Then, I got my tongue pierced by Ty Andrew. He may have started nervous but absolutely annihilated it in the end! Not only that, but he did my friend's vertical labret and killed that one too. Genuinely such a fun place to be and an absolute gem of a tattoo/piercing shop.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my third lobes, helix, and septum re done done by Shaun, my daith, helix, tragus, nipples, nostrils and septum done by jay (no longer works there), and my nipples re done by Ty (the new apprentice, with Shaun’s supervision). They’re all amazing! It’s a clean and friendly environment. I would 10/10 recommend any of the piercers in shop!

Fantastic experience: I got a piercing here 11 years ago. I decided recently it was time to retire my piercing and I visited the shop to have it removed because I was unable to myself. Shaun had it out in minutes and they didn't charge me. Amazing service. I highly recommend this shop!

Negative experience: Went to this shop for a double eyebrow piercing and they ended up piercing a nerve in my eyebrow unknowingly. My piercing never healed, even after two years of proper care and cleaning. Had to have another piercer inspect and explain to me why my piercings wouldn't heal properly. Needless to say, I will not be returning or recommending this shop to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I got a rook and a conch piercing here. Everyone was friendly and polite. Piercer was out to lunch when I arrived but came back early to see me, though I was willing to wait. Piercer was quick and professional, checking with me regularly that I was doing ok. Very happy with my experience here.

Fantastic experience: I had my daith pierced about a month back at another shop and it had been pierced with too short of a curved bar. I noticed some irritation so I came here to see if they could switch it out for me and they were amazing! They switched it for me no questions asked and told me exactly what they were doing. Shaun was really good at making a comfortable atmosphere and he even gave me tips on how to take care of the piercing going further. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Their prices are also great and include the jewellery! Thank-you again to Shaun for all the help!

Positive experience: Nice atmosphere and the people there were great! I did end up getting very sick from infection following a peircing though so that makes me wonder why.

Negative experience: Last year I got my septum and side of my nose done, no problem. Since then I went back to get my belly button pierced and the way my belly button sits on my stomach the pierced pierced my stomach, not my navel. It’s about 2 inches above my belly button, going back and confronting and asking him he got defensive, definitely not what I was expecting. Therefore I went to a professional and they said to remove it immediately it was improperly done, safe to say I won’t be coming back here.

Fantastic experience: It's been almost 20 years since my last tattoo, and back then I cheated with numbing cream, so I was a bit nervous. James did a wonderful job of my tattoo. I felt very comfortable with him and I am very happy with my beautiful tattoo.

Negative experience: First time I came here I had a great experience getting a nose piercing in 2019, service has definitely gone down since then. In may I decided to get a belly button piercing and it was not pierced correctly at all and was inflamed and Irritated the whole time I had it (even when cleaning everyday) the piercing ended up becoming so irritated my skin rejected the piercing completely and it came out. Really wish I went to another piercer cause now I am stuck with a scar and most likely cannot get it re pierced.
