Positive experience: This place is ok but I’m not sure I’d go back.. me and my friend got pierced here a few months back and we both (and the piercer) ended up not loving the placement of the piercing as it was on the edge of our ear, so they redid the piercings in the same sitting. We thought it was abit strange but we just went along with it, and then we ended up getting charged full price which we thought was abit odd given the fact both of our piercings were botched. I then went in a few days later asking if they would just help me put a ball on one of my piercings (not even change it just put a ball on due to my long nails) and they wanted to charge me $30 which is what I was told they charge for “changing jewelry”. They didn’t end up charging me as I explained I’d just been pierced there a few days ago but they were pretty rude about it. Our piercer was really lovely though

Fantastic experience: I went here on a whim to get my rook pierced and had a great experience! The staff was kind and my piercer, Maz, explained what she was doing during each step which eased my nerves. The price was also very reasonable (~$160 CAD/$119 USD after tax). Thank you!

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. My daughter purchased piercings worth $100 in the afternoon, and the very next morning we returned to the shop .she was in pain all night, couldn’t sleep, and experienced swelling and redness. According to the shop’s own website, refunds are possible if there is a valid reason. Despite returning the next morning, the owner refused any refund, using “BC health reasons” as an excuse, without empathy or proper explanation. My daughter originally had a stud, but the new stud needle was much thicker, which clearly caused irritation, pain, and redness. After a discussion, the owner finally agreed to exchange it for a stud . What made the experience worse was the owner’s rude and unprofessional attitude. She said , “I thought you wanted a stud,” which is completely inappropriate to say to a customer when the product itself caused the problem. To be fair, the young short hair piercer who did my daughter’s piercing (I unfortunately don’t know her name) was actually helpful, patient, and kind, and she handled the piercing itself well. In the end, my daughter still politely thanked the owner and she only nodded without saying a word. No apology, no courtesy, no professionalism. I would not recommend this place, especially for young customers. Respectful customer service matters.

Negative experience: Do not go here. Got a $100 earring jewelry change which I already thought was absurd. They used the jewelry on display that everyone can touch. Even if it’s sterilized that’s gross. It then broke WITHOUT being touched a week later. I brought it back in kindly asking for a replacement or some kind of resolution and was met with a disgusting rude attitude. I spoke with someone who I think is the manager but didn’t take any accountability. They took my jewelry and said they would get back to me but never did. The earring was garbage, I had better from AliExpress. Overpriced and disgusting attitudes all around.

Negative experience: DO NOT get a tattoo here. Came in to get a tattoo just to have the artist totally mess it up and blame her stencil…what kind of excuse is that. The first ‘finished’ product was terrible. We came up with some solutions on how to fix it, but it still looks like it was the first time she’s picked up a tattoo gun. And after all that they still charged me the full amount. 10/10 would NOT recommend for tattoos. Piercings might be a different story.

Fantastic experience: Michelle is absolutely lovely and so professional! She helped me replace a lost nose stud. She made me feel comfortable, explained everything clearly, and handled everything with so much care. She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with the results. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely be coming back to her :)

Negative experience: I got a small finger tattoo with a friend while visiting from the UK. Two weeks later after proper care it is almost completely gone. I paid $160 (my friend also paid $160) for some that took 10mins to do, and was ok with that because it was a memory with a good friend, but two weeks later I am more than annoyed. You can barely see mine and hers is almost gone too. I have a body full of tattoos and have never experienced this. I do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Riley was very professional. I had my nostril pierced. Was a bit of a bleeder. Made sure it stopped before I left. Was happy would go there again to get a piercing.

Negative experience: I went in because I had a piercing fall out and asked if they could put it back in. The person at the counter and the piercer were both very kind and professional. Minus the fact that he didn't disinfect around the piercing or skin itself. Not sure if the jewelry he put back in was cleaned but I hope so. However I was shocked at the price. I was charged $32 to put a single bead that fell out of my piercing. Normally most shops either do it for free as a gesture of good will, or maybe charge $5-10. If they gave me a new bead as part of the $32 that would be fair. If it was going to cost that much they should have warned me. That price is outrageous and takes advantage of people. Nobody in their right mind would expect or pay that price for something so minor. Especially those who may be walking in for the first time. I decided to reach out and emailed the owner to inquire as to why they charge so much compared to every other shop but was ignored. So here I am now writing this review. I know they won't care but hopefully it helps someone else. Very disappointing. I've been getting tattoos/piercings for 15+ years and this is the first time I've ever had a bad experience with a shop. Do not recommend. There's better places out there that don't take advantage of people just because they are located on Robson Street.
