Fantastic experience: Leanne and her team are amazing! She fixed two of my piercings that were pierced incorrectly (which two other pierces at different studios tried to correct) and I am so thankful I found her! The team is great, very knowledgeable and kind. Leanne explained the anatomy of my ear, answered all of my questions and made sure I was happy with the placement before and after the piercing. Fantastic experience: This was my second piercing done by Leanne and it was another amazing experience! Leanne was extremely caring + talked me through the entire process of the piercing and while performing the piercing made sure to talk me through it and make sure I was okay. The front desk staff were also super kind and helpful, and Leanne gave me a full run down on all the jewelry I could get for the initial piercing and showed me how to add a ball/spike on the ring if needed. She also gave me some tools to work with when my piercing is healed, and also gave a thorough, clean, easy to follow guide for maintaining the piercing + making sure I knew how to keep it clean so it wouldn’t have any problems. I 100% recommend Leanne for piercings and the studio is beautiful and comfortable to be in. Leanne is extremely caring and makes sure to keep her clients safe and healthy. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: Went in initially to have a problem piercing looked at (did not get this piercing at tantrix). Carlie helped me out with it and she was so knowledgeable and friendly, it was such a good experience, I decided to get my nose pierced by her! Got the nose done today and it looks awesome and again the service and experience was awesome. Every step was explained to me and very clear, and I felt very comfortable! Everyone working there seems so friendly and great and its really clean and inviting in there :) Will definitely be going back!

Fantastic experience: Saw Cassandra today for a double forward helix. Something about cartilage piercings just give me a nervous ick, but she made this the quickest, easiest, most casual feeling piercing I’ve ever got! Although I wasn’t nervous, she still walked me through everything, explained why she did the placement the way she did, double checked if I wanted to sit up or lay back etc. - which speaks volumes on her wanting to make sure you are 100% comfortable and are in the loop of her process! Her ultra prepared and professional demeanour, mixed with the comfortable casualness made for a super great experience. Already looking forward to having her add more :)

Fantastic experience: Cassandra pierced my tragus for me and it was a great experience! She’s super friendly and personable and did a great job of walking me through the process. Going back tomorrow to do my lobes. Leanne pierced my conch for me and that too was a super fun experience! Leanne is so genuine and super easy to talk to! She is a phenomenal piercer! The shop is clean and beautiful as always and the team is wonderful to work with. I will only go to Tantrix for piercings.

Negative experience: Began well. When there was a problem, I don't think they handled it properly and could have done better. Not impressed, given their reputation and recommendations from our community. Will be going elsewhere to professionals with more experience and ability to get pure metals. Leaving disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I just had to post this review ASAP to express how amazing the team at Tantrix is for piercings. I saw Cassandra for a daith and hidden helix piercing today and.. oh wow! I was greeted warmly when I went in and felt immediately at ease. She took the time to chat with me about my ear anatomy and helped me decide which piercings and jewelry I wanted. Not only did I not feel rushed at all, the vibe was totally chill and positive. They took cleanliness and hygiene VERY seriously, with everything sterile and right out of the package. I was super impressed! The piercings themselves were SO quick and didn’t hurt much at all! Cassandra listened to me regarding placement and I was thrilled with the end result. Staff immediately was friendly and very approachable, knowledgeable with any questions about piercings, after care, and jewellery. Each and every piercer is very knowledgeable and able to provide you with an amazing experience. Fantastic experience: Got my tragus pierced by Cassandra and she was awesome, she went through the aftercare and what to do if something bad happens. Fantastic experience: I usually get my Piercings done by Leanne (always wonderful!) but she wasn’t available for the time I was planning to go. I ended up booking with someone new today, that being Cassandra! The experience was great. They were very friendly, and knowledgeable about all of my questions. She was very professional and did an amazing job with making our time together as quick, safe and comfortable as possible. I walked in expecting to get just my lobes done… I left with an extra piercing I’d been wanting for almost a year but was too chicken to get until today! Regardless to say, I love them and will be back. I’ll be getting a sticker next time too! Additionally, the front desk was amazing with questions, advice and helping us out with what they were able to!

Fantastic experience: I have gotten my triple helix done with Cassandra 6 years go, and I absolutely loved her work. Today I accidentally ripped one of my piercings of my ear. I called tantrix. They got me in with the speed of lightning, and Cassandra helped again. Immaculate service, absolutely amazing. As always, it was quick and painless. Highly recommend her. Positive experience: Went to Tantrix upon recommendation from friends as my littlest wanted her ears pierced. Leanne Thompson-Hill did not disappoint! Really great with kids, fast and nearly painless my daughter said, really great experience overall. I would have given that experience 5 stars hands down. I will give a heads up to parents to make sure if you are booking with her to do it way in advance before the summer as she works up at a lake for the summer months and comes back in the fall. We had a little emergency as one of my daughter's earrings fell out in her sleep, but as soon as I told Leanne she was on it and made sure my daughter got the care she needed. I am very grateful for swiftness and care.

Positive experience: Staff are very skilled, friendly, and accommodating. One thing that upset me was that I was promised that they would hold onto my old downsized jewelry, so it would be free of charge the next time I went for my downsize. Then I come in for my downsize and was told that I had no record of my old downsized jewelry. Was very disappointed that they forgot to record it and had to pay for the fee again. I’d understand if they threw the old downsized jewelry away if it passed a deadline, but they instead did not keep a record of it.

Fantastic experience: love this place!! i came here in 2020 to get my septum done and 5 years later it has been amazing, just took my fiance in to get his first ever piercing (septum) done and he is in love with it!! definitely recommend getting your septum here if you are looking to get one, very calming atmosphere and amazing staff, offered drinks and snacks to him in case he started feeling dizzy, shout out to Cassandra for being an amazing piercer!!

Negative experience: This was my first time visiting this piercing studio, and it will definitely be my last. Before my appointment, I had signed the paper and was aware of the policy stating that being more than 5 minutes late could lead to a cancellation. I truly made an effort to be on time, but unfortunately, I was unfamiliar with the area and encountered some unavoidable delays—train crossings and difficulty finding parking near the shop. After finally managing to park and pay, I rushed to the studio. Upon arrival, I was told to remove my shoes at the door, and then I had to wait while the front desk staff chatted with another person. Only after several minutes I got a chance to speak to someone—at which point they coldly informed me that my appointment needs to be canceled because I was 7 minutes late, which was “2 minutes over” their 5-minute grace period. They showed no empathy, offered no apology, and didn’t notify me of the cancellation by text or email in advance. If they had done so, I could have at least saved the parking fee and the frustration. What frustrated me even more was that I was made to wait for the front desk to finish their conversation before being acknowledged—does that wait count toward my lateness? And then I was told that the next client was a kid getting a piercing, as if that had anything to do with me. The tone was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I even politely asked if there were any openings in the next few days, and without even checking, they told me to go book online. I understand rules are rules, and I fully accept responsibility for being a few minutes late. But the lack of basic courtesy and the arrogance in their attitude is not something I’m willing to pay for, no matter how good their technique might be. I left feeling upset and honestly, a little grossed out by the whole experience.

Fantastic experience: This was a fantastic experience. I had my daughter’s earring pierced. They were professional, kind and really great about Explaining everything. I would recommend them to any moms getting their kids ears done!

Fantastic experience: I have booked for multiple services over the past couple of years and every single time has been the absolute best experince. I had my nose pierced by Cassandra, and when it got infected she was extremely helpful in helping me treat it, and it resolved quick! I also have a tattoo from Bella, she was super nice, and very forgiving when we had to replace the stencil a couple of times. most recently I got a helix piercing from Elizabeth, she took the time to explain what she was doing, and was overall engaging, asking me about my plans for the day etc. Overall the shop is a very clean and welcoming environment, I wont go anywhere else for future piercings!

Fantastic experience: Took my boyfriend to get his nose pierced and am very satisfied with the results and the treatment by those at the studio. The receptionist is extremely friendly, helpful and overall enjoyable to converse with. Fantastic experience: Took my daughter in to get her second piercings in her ears. Booked online which was an easy process & when we arrived we picked out earrings. Cassandra was on time, very informative & made her feel so comfortable. Her office was clean & sterile. She also sent home an email with aftercare instructions in case we forgot anything. Fantastic experience: I’ve had my septum pierced for 10 years. I bought new jewelry at a place in the mall and instantly my nose was infected. I booked an appointment with tantrix to get it taken out as I was scared to do it myself. Carlie helped me, she cleaned my piercing and got me fitted with a better piece of jewelry. Fantastic experience: I've went to tantrix about 3 times and I always go to Leanne, she is an amazing piercer. getting a piercing is scary sometimes or at least the first couple times are, leanne just knows and understands how to create a calm atmosphere in the studio. my nerves always go away the moment i start talking to her and when she pierces its quick and almost always not that painful. the piercings ive gotten done by her are done WELL, she knows so much about anatomy and i can ask her just about everything. she is a sensational piercer, i recommend her to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but great service and support with the staff at Tantrix. Everyone is so professional, friendly, and helpful, and I enjoy my time each visit. Leanne has done a handful of work on me - I had my labret done in January, and it has healed beautifully. I also had one of my lobes done. Lastly, she also re-pierced my navel after it had rejected years ago, and was super knowledgeable and skillful with navigating my scar tissue from my previous piercing. She also helped me figure out the proper size for my jewelry throughout multiple appointments, as I had some swelling that took a while to calm down. I also had my eyebrow done with Cassie, who was also very helpful and professional with the process. I almost didn't have enough skin to pierce, but she was able to get it done just right and it has since healed exceptionally well. I really appreciate how caring and invested everyone has been for my piercing recoveries. They are very prompt with getting you in and taking care of you if you have any questions or complications.

Fantastic experience: Decided to get my nose pierced after years of wanting it done, and left super happy! I was pierced by Danielle, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! I was pretty nervous walking in, but I quickly warmed up as Danielle did an awesome job at making me feel comfortable. She walked me through the whole process, and was super helpful! If you are looking to get pierced, I 100% recommend getting it done here!!! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Cassandra did such an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and well informed during my piercing experience. Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing tattoo experience yesterday. From the moment I walked in the front door I was pleasantly greeted. To the moment I was taken back for my appointment with trash grandma. Nicole. I found she was very thorough, we went over every aspect from beginning to end. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Thank you so much. This was a memorial tattoo to honor my bestfriend. I am super happy with how it turned out.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Tantrix for 10 years since I was 14 years old, originally at the Sutherland location. I’ve gotten my industrial, rook, tongue, cartilage x2, conch x2, nostril x3, tragus, countless jewelry downsizes and changes, and almost all of my tattoos. I’m a regular with Bella, and I’ve had work done by Haley. Love Tantrix the only place I recommend to others for piercings and tattoos!!

Fantastic experience: Was very nice environment, friendly staff, they made jokes and had conversations with me and other artists during the appointment, kept it in a load back mood, Bella was very professional and made sure I knew everything before she even grabbed ink. Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten pierced at Tantrix twice, my most recent piercing was my nose and pierced by Leanne. The process was simple and she walked me through it, I didn’t feel nervous at all. She’s very sweet and a reliable piercer. Even the front desk staff was extremely nice and talkative. The whole environment of Tantrix is very cute and comforting, and is overall a safe place. Will be coming back for another service!

Fantastic experience: This studio is wonderful, my personal favourite! I’ve come here for quite a few piercings and the staff have always been wonderful and made the whole process all around a great experience! Carlie just pierced my bridge and it’s absolutely perfect! If anyone ever asks me where to go for piercings, I always say Tantrix!
