Fantastic experience: I have wanted a tattoo by Luna for 9 years. NINE YEARS. The delay between the design and the action was entirely my own But I have now had the pleasure of having three sessions and every single one has been an absolute joy. Not only has the work been insanely incredible [I dance in front of mirrors a lot more often, simply to see her work move on my body] but the professionalism, the care, the love, the humour [the incredible amount of laughs I have laughed] the way she has indulged my [quite frankly sometimes ridiculous requests] and the INCOMPARABLE quality of the work makes me wish I could give this so much more than a simple 5 star review. If you, or someone you know are thinking of getting a colour tattoo in Cairns, there is not a single word in the English language [potentially any other languages] that could express how highly I would recommend both Luna and Dusk and Bloom as a studio

Fantastic experience: George is honestly one of the most incredible artists I’ve ever met. Not only is her work insane, but her energy made the whole experience so fun and comfortable from start to finish. She took my ideas, understood the vision straight away and somehow created something even better than I imagined. Every part of the process exceeded my expectations, the design, the detail, the atmosphere, everything. Could not recommend her enough. Absolute weapon of an artist. Fantastic experience: Dusk and Bloom studio is a very professional tattoo service, friendly artists who spend the time with clients to work out the design for their clients. Studio is beautifully presented modern equipment, very clean and also spacious to give clients privacy with their artists.

The shop is clean and presentable with really lovely art on the walls, conversation was light and friendly and I felt very comfortable in the space. Looking forward to coming back

I’ve loved every minute from the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out, they make you feel really comfortable and at home in their amazing studio. I can also confirm you won’t go anywhere else!! I ended up getting a touch up from another artist (got it done by this artist) at another studio and it wasn’t the same so can confirm you ladies have a life long client that won’t go anywhere else My bestie also got a whole heap there as well as my boyfriend❤️ Love you ladies so freaking much you guys are amazing artists!! Can’t wait to book in another tattoo (Yes don’t worry it won’t be till next year Vanessa)

Fantastic experience: I’ve only had the pleasure of being tattooed by the talented Tia, but I can’t recommend her enough! Her attention to detail is immaculate, and she’s genuinely such a kind and caring soul who puts her all into giving you an amazing piece of art! Her fine line is out of this world and I can’t imagine going to anyone else after the last 3 pieces she’s done for me! She makes the whole process so smooth and ensures she gives you nothing but the best. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the best tattoo artist ever! I was blessed to be tattooed by Vanessa back in 2020 where I flew from Brisbane and spent the day in cairns to have my rose tattooed on my inner arm. I am hanging out for when Vanessa reopens her books to have a design created for my leg! Still to this day have not come across another vibrant tattoo artist.

Fantastic experience: When anyone asks where to get a tattoo I'll always recommend Dusk & Bloom. I've been tattooed by both Grace & Vanessa - they are both very talented & professional. Grace recently did a small font tattoo & greyscale flower on my arm, its very neat and healed really well! At the time I didn't realise I couldn't get a tattoo while I was breastfeeding, the girls explained to me why this was & didn't make me feel pressured to go ahead with the tattoo if I didn't want to which I thought was really nice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience with Vanessa (Luna) here the other day! I had admired her work on Instagram for years and knew she was the only person in the world I wanted to do a Steve Irwin tribute crocodile tattoo for me. Was so honored that she wanted to do it and was as excited as I was! She created the most beautiful crocodile with gorgeous flowers to make it perfectly girly and gorgeous. Her level of detail and use of colors is insane! I could not be happier with it! In addition to the amazing tattoo, my husband and I had the best day with Vanessa, Grace, and their apprentice Ziah. They were so fun, and created such an friendly awesome atmosphere that my husband unexpectedly stayed the whole day hanging out with us! Cannot say enough good things about these girls and their business. Wish there wasn’t 9k miles between Florida and Cairns! I’d have a whole collection of their work if I could!

Fantastic experience: Luna has done two pieces for me, for my two daughters. The second was done in her new studio, Dusk and Bloom. The piece I chose was not necessarily the work she likes to do these days but remembered me and booked me in anyway. They are collarbone tattoos that look so symmetrical and elegant, I get compliments on them all time. She was so incredibly lovely from my very first enquiry to my last tattoo. I highly recommend Luna to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I had my first ever tattoo done by Luna (Vanessa) and it exceeded my expectations. I went in on my birthday and all the ladies sang happy birthday to me when I walked in. The atmosphere in the studio is so chill and a beautiful vibe. I highly recommend all people who feel intimated by tattoo parlours to go check these talented ladies out. Gracie does hyperrealism black/white/grey and Vanessa's colour tats are her specially! I'm already looking forward to more tattoos in the future and I will only go back to these ladies!

I was made to feel so comfortable, I was informed thoughroughly about every part of the process and much attention to detail was taken in getting my tattoo just right. Fantastic experience: Gracie did additional work to an older tattoo and matched it in seamlessly. Tattooing over scarring on the soft part of the stomach, she created a stunning piece. She was fast and super gentle. Gracie is a truely talented sweetheart and the new space she and Luna have created feels so comforting. The energy in the place and watching them bounce ideas off each other makes for a truely wonderful studio. Cannot speak high enough of the girls and their new studio.
