Fantastic experience: Claudia has done two really meaningful pieces for me — my Buddha and my Sak Yant Thai tigers — and I honestly couldn’t trust a better artist with them. These tattoos mean a lot to me, so finding someone who would treat them with the care and respect they deserved was really important, and Claudia absolutely did. Her fine line work is incredibly clean and detailed, and she takes so much care to make sure everything is perfect. Fantastic experience: Muse Fine Line Tattoos is a professional shop with exceptional standard. I was greeted by the owner as soon as i walked in and was organised and booked for tattoos in no time. The environment is bubbly and the skill work is like no other. Highly reccommended.

Negative experience: Update: For anyone reading, please pay attention to how combative their responses are to any negative reviews- always blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility. Their response to me is not factual and I stand by what I said- the truth. Also worth noting, that they have mostly good reviews because they ask everyone who posts a bad one to take it down. I don’t think that is a fair representation, so I will not be removing mine. I would give zero, however the one star is only because of the quality/skill of tattooing, but the experience from start to finish and the tattoo I left with was absolutely terrible. I messaged via instagram to book in an appointment. She gave me a date but no time. I confirmed the date and as I waited for a reply for the time I got no answer. On the date of the appointment I messaged back to check if I was confirmed, but didn’t hear back for 3 days. She apologised and offered me another date. I accepted, and when I arrived at the studio she was not there and my booking was not made. I should have just left it, but I made yet another booking while in the shop. I had messaged inspiration photos on instagram when originally booking, and I thought we would have a chat in the shop before the tattoo to get a final drawing done, however that was not the case. The tattoo appointment before me was running late and when she got to my appointment, she just came out with a drawing and asked me what size I wanted. The drawing was nothing like what I asked for and she never asked me what I was looking to create. I asked to adjust a part of the drawing and she made it seem like such an inconvenience to her. I was feeling bad and rushed. She came out with an edit and again asked what size I wanted- not if that’s what I was thinking. I felt something was off with the design but I couldn’t place my finger on what it was, however I felt so much pressure from her to hurry up and pick something. I asked for her opinion on something and she seemed so uninterested and didn’t give me an answer. I should have stopped the appointment then, but I felt obligated at this point and don’t work well under pressure. As I was in the chair I still felt off, and asked about making a small change. She said she would do it. I asked if I could see what it would look like and she frustratedly grabbed her iPad and scribbled in blue (while my tattoo was all black) the idea. When it was finished I instantly knew it wasn’t right, and she could probably tell I wasn’t happy, even though I was polite, yet she still didn’t say anything. This tattoo was meant to be a sentimental piece and the experience and outcome made it so bad. I cried in the carpark at how unhappy I was with it and as soon as I got home looked up how long before I could remove it. I am not one to write bad reviews, and I tried to let it go, but it’s been 7 months since this happened and I am still just as upset at the situation and unhappy with my tattoo, I had to share my experience. I am actually in the process of removing it now. So unfortunate, and would never recommend.

Fantastic experience: Muse Fine Line Tattoo is the best place to get tattoos done in cairns, maybe even Australia. The vibe of the shop is completely unmatched with the interior's unique and thoughtful design. Tia herself as an artist is quite talented. She is adaptable and is always looking out for her clients. Tia's own skills in relation to shading, design, linework etc are something to behold. I have had 7 full day sessions with Tia now and every time that i come in it is a welcoming and supportive environment. I could not say a bad thing about this business even if I wanted to, nothing to fault. I would recommend Muse to anyone who wants high quality work done.

I booked via Instagram DM’s and she is extremely transparent and communicative about response time on her platform so I was never worried about hearing back from her! Due to unforeseen circumstances my appointment had to be rescheduled day of - Tia was extremely communicative and apologetic which she did not have to be (these things happen!!) and got me rebooked within just a couple of days. When I was in my appointment she took so much time and patience making sure the stencil was absolutely perfect before she started the tattoo and was really warm and kind throughout the whole process. My tattoo is not fully healed yet but it is absolutely phenomenal! She is so talented would recommend this studio and Tia to everyone!

She’s now done a total of 8 tattoos for me over time, each one with a huge personal meaning, and this last one was no exception, she captured it with incredible delicacy. The studio is a magical place, filled with plants and little details that make you feel at home, but the most special thing is that it’s entirely run by talented women who are truly passionate about their craft. The owner is such a beautiful soul, hardworking, dedicated, and it shows in every corner of the space and in the care they give you. Without a doubt, it’s a safe, creative, and uplifting space. ✨

Negative experience: La dueña Tia es una buena artista y hace un buen trabajo. Sin embargo no lo recomiendo ya que el trato es muy frio y tardan mucho en contestar o no contestan.

Fantastic experience: Muse has a great atmosphere and I cannot fault Claudia’s professionalism and artistic ability! I was very impressed with her work and continue to receive many compliments from strangers.

Negative experience: Despite advertising walk-ins, the studio felt very unwelcoming when we arrived. One of the tattooists spoke to us, as it was quite busy that day, but came across as rather rude and passive aggressive. There also seemed to be no clear system for managing times or bookings when we tried to find out the next available time. Unfortunately, we chose to leave — not an experience we’d recommend.
