Broken Arrow Tattooing

Negative experience: This review is specifically about their artist, Maddie. I had sent a picture of my arm, doodled the exact tattoo I wanted. Including size, colours, etc. it was only fine line but I had placed the actual tattoo’s design in the photos as well. She gave me a quote, and then I came in for my booking. She stencilled me, got the okay and continued. Once the tattoo was done, exactly as I wanted it, I asked her if it was the amount she quoted and she decided to charge me double the quote, with no explanation or conversation beforehand. The tattoo was already on my body and I wouldn’t have been willing to pay that amount for her work. Her fine line is NOT good at all, there’s gaps in my tattoo, lines have faded. As someone with lots of fine line tattoos, this is one of the worst I’ve had. My friend got a tattoo at the same time and she missed shading a whole section of it. So if you are going here and to her, make sure to bring double the amount, just in case.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend the team at Broken Arrow enough. The space is such a calm and chill vibe and everyone has been so welcoming and kind each time I have been there. I have been seeing Emily from Broken Arrow since 2019 and have had all of my tattoos done by her over the years. Emily is such a kind soul and will make you feel so incredibly comfortable throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for a great fine line, botanical artist she’s your girl!

Fantastic experience: Walked in on a Sunday morning and felt comfortable immediately. The studio was clean, welcoming, and had great artwork and music. As someone who doesn’t have many tattoos, I really appreciated how approachable and non-intimidating the experience was. Richie was excellent — friendly, asked all the right questions, and incredibly thorough with hygiene and setup. My tattoo was a small line piece and was done quickly and precisely. Such a positive experience overall. Highly recommend :)
