Honestly this has been the best tattoo experience I have ever received. The facility is beautiful and welcoming, the snacks and fridge full of drinks is a big plus. The front desk ladies are super sweet and friendly. My artist was Rita and she was amazing! She was very open to ideas and was patient when I requested changes to the design, she even brought up ideas. Her art work is truly amazing, everyone who compliments my sleeve always mentions how detailed it is. Rita truly shows passion in her work and she was just as excited as I was. She took the time to make sure that it fit just right on my arm - needle didn’t even touch skin till she was confident that the stencil was on perfect. Rita has 10000% won a life time customer and I will for sure be going to her for my next tattoo idea!

Expérience fantastique: Got my first tattoo in 8 years with Viki on Feb 14th & she was absolutely amazing!! It was a large tattoo over a small cover up. That I had the idea for, but definitely nothing designed yet. As well as 2 small touch ups of 2 older tattoos on the same arm. She did an amazing job with the new art work and any adjustments I wanted to make. She made sure the size and placement was everything I’d hoped for and more! She listened to everything I dreamt of for this tattoo. I had an idea and she brought it to beautiful life! She was kind. Professional. Fast but precise. It wasn’t painful at all! Expérience fantastique: Was taken care of by @golka.ink on short notice for a tattoo of a haiku I wrote for myself (hence no picture here but you can DM me for it) She was very accommodating to try and match the vision I had in mind working quickly to find a final fantasy esque font that matched what I desired. Great price, quick work and well done for such fine lines. I will be going here to this artist to continue my tattoo work. They also have TVs per station that you can watch while getting your service, clean, and offers refreshments

He made adjustments on the fly with ease, and as you can see from the photos, the artwork truly speaks for itself. I wanted a tribute piece for my dog Nieoh who passed away in July, and Ara created a portrait tattoo that is truly breathtaking. The level of detail, realism, and emotion captured in the piece is beyond anything I could have hoped for. Every little highlight, shadow, and expression is spot-on — it looks exactly like him. The studio itself is extremely professional, clean, and welcoming.  I was walked through the process, and they made sure I was comfortable the entire appointment. My artist was Ara, it was my first time going to Tattoo Forest and my first experience with Ara tattooing me. Right off the bat Ara was extremely friendly and made our introduction comfortable. Each step of the way, we received important emails right up until an hour before our appts to ensure we were fully prepared. During our appt, we met with our artist Victoria who went through some options of sizing and placements and additional important information. Then we proceeded to another area to have them done. This space is very clean, comfortable and estestically pleasing. Our artist was amazing and we couldn't be more grateful for who we went with. We will definitely be back and highly recommending this spot to others.

Expérience fantastique: J.greyish is so skillful when it comes to designing a tattoo and tattooing that same design on your skin, like I am really happy with his work looks like he put a 1 of 1 painting on my arm, I really recommend checking him out and getting your tats through him. Consulting with Kaki via Instagram was very easy with quick answers to questions and feedback for my ideas. At both the time of the Consult and at the First appointment, the shop welcomed me with professional and friendly demeanour and I was comfortable instantly. As my first session here, it was all line work, and I was very happy with the time, care and attention Kaki took in lining the art. I’ve been given clear instructions for before and after care, and although I have to wait for this first session to heal, my Tattoo is exactly what I hoped for and I cannot wait to go back for my second session!

Finally it was the right time, and I even changed up my entire tattoo idea a month before....annoying customers am I right? I definitely NEVER felt like I was imposing, they were always sure to assure me that it'd very much my choice and my body. Ara is extremely gentle, thoughtful, and a damn good artist. All the reference photos I could find for saxophones were so static. I wanted something alive and dynamic! I showed Rita the sax tattoos out there, some smokey line tattoos I liked the vibes of, and then tried my best to describe the energy I was going for. Rita understood the assignment, and after a little bit of back and forth, created this beautiful tattoo!! This tattoo was everything I hoped for and more! He did absolutely amazing and gave me more than I could have asked for. Theme was starcraft 2 black and greayscale with green, purple and blue accents throughout. His talent speaks for itself in the photos I highly recommend this artist as he is a truly gifted person, extremely nice and just and overall joy! The shop is warm,welcoming and super friendly! Expérience fantastique: As much as I want to post about the shop and Ara, I also would like to keep her a secret so I can get more work done. The shop is very clean and welcoming. Snacks, drinks, pillows and blankets are available. Ara is an artist and her skill is amazing. Her use of colour and shading is phenomenal. I am asked daily about the additions she had done to my sleeve. We are now working on adding detail to the original work.

Expérience fantastique: Ara recently did a pet portrait of my late dog. She did an amazing job, the amount of care and detail she put into it brought me to tears. The studio is very beautiful and welcoming and all the staff were very friendly and sweet. Will definitely be going back in the future.

I then checked out their website, and all the artist portfolios were amazing, but something specific jumped out to me about Ara's work. I consulted with her about the very specific ideas I wanted for my memorial tattoo, and even the rough drawing she did during the consult brought those ideas to life! The space is inviting, the staff friendly and helpful, and Ara blew me away with her artist talent but also her sensitivity to my needs. I honestly cannot imaging I could have gotten better work done anywhere else. When I get my next tattoo, I plan on going back to Ara and Tattoo Forest!

They have a tv for you to watch Netflix while getting your tattoo done which is so great while you’re sitting so still for long periods of time. The staff is no nice and welcoming. I felt nervous at first but they made me feel comfortable. The tattoo artist did such an amazing job on my tattoo. The name is so clean and beautiful! 10/10

Expérience fantastique: I love the two pieces that Ara did for me! I wanted to commemorate my Eras Tour surprise songs and Ara worked with my design ideas and made sure I was absolutely happy with the final design. During the sessions she made sure I was comfortable throughout and we took breaks as needed. For the piece that took longer I was offered to watch the Eras Tour concert film on Disney+ which was so fun! Thank you so much for doing these special pieces for me!

I have waited a very long time to finally get the first and part of that reason was to make sure I was patient in finding what I truly wanted and a good artist that could pull it off. Not only did I find a GREAT artist in J but a great studio as well with really friendly staff and awesome vibe & aesthetic. They made the whole process very easy from the consultation to booking as well as the day of the tattoo. J was great in helping creating the design where he took my idea and made it even better. They're really communicative through text, in terms of location, parking, before and after care, etc. I had my tattoo done with Viki and she was so so great! Very patient and accommodating to any changes I wanted. I absolutely love my tattoo! I can't recommend her enough! Expérience fantastique: Emailed with short notice and they got me in, they kept up with reminders and instructions with after care, through text messages. As I walked into the shop I was amazed on how nice it was all the artist had there own rooms, they had snacks and drinks for the clients and over all felt really welcoming. (A lot different than shops I’ve been to before). I got my tattoo done by Kaki and she did an amazing job she is a very focused artist and made my little peices with the most precision not a single flaw in the line work. Will recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a place to get a piece done!!

Expérience fantastique: Lovely, warm, and welcoming. I'm more than pleased with the finished tattoo. Ara is a fantastic artist. It hurt so bad but Ara was so kind and as gentle as she could be. My husband was so impressed he's decided to get his next tattoo at Tattoo Forest.

Expérience négative: The good: nice studio, the front desk staff and owners were very friendly and helpful The bad: The artist had to cancel and reschedule twice. I understand that things happen, but I had to book time off work. One day, the studio called me when I was 10 minutes away to inform me that the artist called in sick. I live in Fort Sask, so it's a fair drive. Also, the tattoo I had done, I had to get reworked because I wasn't happy with the finished product. In addition, we needed an interpreter and some things were lost in translation. I had two sessions and by the end of the second session, the artist was rushing and not listening. Not pleased with the outcome. I won't be back. The fellow who fixed the work at another studio, will be my go-to artist from now on.
