Expérience fantastique: I’m visiting on holiday all the way from Fiji and spent ages searching for the perfect place to get my dermal done while in Vancouver. I am so glad I found this studio! I was pierced by Matthew and he was absolutely incredible! So smooth, professional, and just full of great vibes. He made the whole experience so lovely and stress-free. The rest of the staff were super cool too. I’ve been documenting my whole trip and this was definitely a highlight. Expérience fantastique: Recently, I travelled to Vancouver for a concert and decided to get my medusa pierced while we were there. I found the Fall by looking at the APP website. All of their piercers are APP member! Adam performed my piercing and he was fantastic. He took his time with placement; having me move my mouth in a few different ways to make sure it was the right spot. The piercing was quick and easy! He's a nice and personable guy as well. I plan to see him again for downsizing and any future piercings I may decide to get! Worth the travel for sure.

Expérience fantastique: I came in very recently on a short trip to Vancouver from the states, not really expecting to get a tattoo on this trip. Decided pretty impulsively to commemorate my trip with my spouse by getting a tattoo Ive really wanted for awhile, and The FALL came up in my search. I decided to give it a go seeing they took walk-ins, and was matched with Rick. Rick is an absolutely hilarious and amazing artist, coupled with the extremely welcoming atmosphere of the shop it was such a good couple hours that I spent with my spouse, talking it up while Rick gave us amazing places to go sightsee and enjoy while on our short visit, or even in the future when we return again at a later date. 10/10 absolutely recommend for a shop. Everyone is so friendly, professional, and accommodating with amazing artists and piercers ready to help! Will 100% will come back here in the future on my next trip up from the states!

Nicholas is my absolute favourite artist, his work is supreme, he also has a super cool and fascinating personality and is safe and comfortable to be around. I had two pieces done by him and I love it. Nicholas, you rock! A special shout out also goes to front desk staff for their soulful and warm customer service, and to Matt, Chase and Adam who all helped me with the piercing. Expérience fantastique: For Thanksgiving this year, we took a little road trip from Vancouver, Washington up to Vancouver, British Columbia - because nothing says “holiday spirit” like crossing a border into a city with the exact same name as the one you just left. It was our first time in Canada, and honestly… the people in Vancouver, B.C. were some of the rudest I’ve ever met. Like, aggressively unfriendly. The “nice Canadian” stereotype? Yeah, didn’t see it. But we still made the trip count. Me, my brother, and my lady all got matching tattoos - holiday bonding at its finest. The old lady even got a piercing while we were there. Huge shoutout to the FALL, though. We must’ve found the only friendly humans in Vancouver, B.C. These guys were absolute legends - super chill, welcoming, and crazy talented. We put some thought into where to go, and it paid off. Five stars. Would absolutely let them stab us again.

Expérience fantastique: This was my first time getting piercings, and the whole experience was easy and enjoyable. The front desk staff were patient and helpful, taking their time as I tried different jewelry. My piercer, Adam, was very professional and kind, and answered all my questions. Everything went smoothly, and I didn't experience any pain or irritation afterward. Although the jewelry is on the pricer side, I still recommend this place.

I haven't been here in awhile because I moved, but I called them in the summer with regard to my naval jewelry and again today, I spoke with Patty, regarding my nose jewelry and they are so helpful every time. I had a great experience in shop as well. I didn't love the way my naval piercings sat and I did a walk in, and the piercer measured and said I would benefit from a shorter size, which typically has to be ordered in, which we ended up doing. By the time it came in, I had moved and they shipped it to me and I love it! They are really knowledgeable and help educate you as well on different options that might be available. I was also in their shop to switch the stud in my nose to a hoop I purchased from them, and that experience was really great as well. You guys are really amazing and I appreciate the quality and professionalism that comes from everyone in your shop. It's a rare find these days.

Expérience négative: A year ago my friend got her anti eyebrow piercing. I called this past Tuesday to book an appointment for her birthday to get her eyebrow piercing and another anti-eyebrow piercing on the other side. The anti eyebrow piercing is not a common piercing to do so that’s why I called days before to confirm they could do it still. The lady on the phone said yes and confirmed my appointment. We showed up today for the appointment only to be told the person who did it a year ago moved to the states and nobody in the shop could do it…. I drove from hope bc to THE FALL studio to only be told they could not do it for her. I understand that we chose to make the drive over to continue being loyal clients to THE FALL studio, however I’m writing this review so everyone in the shop is educated with the same information so no other clients will be misinformed about what is offered. Thanks. * also I would to add that the attractive guy at the front all though very handsome gave us two numbers for different shops that also don’t do this piercing. So ya. Won’t be back

Expérience fantastique: I travelled from Iqaluit, Nunavut to Vancouver for a conference this week and did a bit of online research for tattoo shop which may be close to me. I stayed in Richmond but the web site for this shop popped up and intrigued me. I called and was helped and welcomed immediately! The friendly staff assisted me in the entire booking process for myself and my friend who also wanted to get one too! Patty was amazing! I was paired with the most amazing Artist @moi_marston check him out on Instagram! He gave me the most amazing ink, was so professional and welcoming. I will recommend this shop and Artist with all my friends and family across the country! If I'm ever back in BC again I will most definitely check this shop and its artists out again! Expérience positive: First time coming here and was expecting a welcoming experience, but encountered Matthew who came off a bit rude and standoffish when I was asking questions. The only reason I gave 3 stars and not 1 is because of Adam who was the complete opposite and was extremely nice!

Expérience fantastique: Randomly walked in to ask a question about a piercing I have wanted forever but didn’t know if I had the anatomy for it and walked out 25mins later with one of the best experiences I have had while getting pierced. Professional shop great selection, advice and took their time explaining everything they are doing. Can’t imagine there being a better place in Vancouver to get pierced.

Expérience fantastique: Got my microdermal redone and had a MUCH better experience than the previous studio I went to. This is the fourth time I've had it done in the same location, so there is lots of scar tissue. My piercer Chance was so incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job explaining possible issues and placing the piercing where it had the best chance of success. Two months later and its still healing very well! I recommend this studio to everyone who asks me about it and won't get pierced anywhere else in vancouver.

I was greeted instantly and was seen pretty quickly as well (considering I was a walk in client). Chance was super informative about all the steps prior, during & after. Staff were knowledgeable and very helpful in picking the jewelry and answering our questions as we were very scared LOL. Chance was our piercer. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all 500 of our questions. I got two piercings and my friend got one. All piercings are healing great. Very happy! Would definitely return there if we’re not banned for being annoying. But he checked it right away, explained everything in such a clear and chill way, and removed it gently and professionally. It was way quicker than I expected and didn’t hurt at all. He’s friendly, skilled, and made the whole thing feel so easy. I’ll definitely go back for future piercings!

Expérience fantastique: I had my earlobes done by Chance, who was absolutely smooth with his service--friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. The piercing itself only took a few minutes, but I ended up chatting with him for a while afterward because his piercing room looked like a museum, filled with photos and art pieces, each with historical or personal meaning. I thought that was absolutely lovely. Will not lie but Chance himself felt like a walking piece of art with his body modifications, carrying history through that. Very cool.

Expérience fantastique: Got my first piercing ever on both of my lobes today! I made this spontaneous decision on a whim and just walked right in. They were able to get me in sooner than I was told! Chance was my piercer and I had a great experience despite how nervous I was. He walked me through the whole process, and before I knew it I was walking out of there with my lobes pierced! Highly recommend if you’re new to piercings like I am.

Expérience fantastique: My daughter (9 years old) had her ears pierced by Matthew. I cannot recommend Matthew's services enough! He made my daughter feel beyond comfortable, and she didn't even feel the first piercing. He took all the time she (and we) needed for questions and calming, and we never felt rushed our out of place in a tattoo studio with a 9 year old and a 4 year old in tow! We went a 11am on a Saturday and it was chill and family friendly. He seems like a lovely human being and I'd recommend him to anyone! The Fall had a great selection of earrings too.

Expérience fantastique: Earned my first tattoo there. Emilio was my artist, and he was excellent to work with. He asked all the questions he could and allowed me to do the same in turn to make sure it was going to be what I wanted. Through the process we were able to chat about most everything and respected each other when we chose to be silent. By the end, it was better than I'd hoped!! I wasn't crying, you were!!! The place itself was clean and inviting. All the staff we met from start to finish were very inviting and fun to talk to. This started out as something of a serendipitous stop on one of our last days of vacation, but it will definitely last in our memory and on my wife's and my bodies. <3

Found the shop on Google, did some quick Instagram research for aesthetic, and made same day appointments. Walking in and seeing the selection of beautiful jewelry options, we knew we found the right place! Anthony helped us immediately and it was like hanging out with an old friend. Since there were three of us, Amanda also helped out at the front and was super friendly and helpful. Once we made our decisions, Matthew did the piercings and really helped us feel confident in our choices. We had some solid sister-trip energy and excitement he matched our vibe and then some. We were laughing and chatting the whole time. We are all extremely happy with the results and left feeling great! We had such a fun afternoon at The Fall and hope to be back!

Anthony was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful with finding us the perfect pieces for our preferences, anatomy and budgets. He was very thorough and took us through all of their beautiful jewelry options multiple times to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He never made us feel rushed and took the time to explain the piercing process, healing, jewelry and put us at ease! Matthew was our piercer and he was SO GREAT! He was kind, funny, extremely professional and knowledgeable. He made us very comfortable, calmed any nerves and helped us decide on the best placement and sizes of jewelry. He was incredible! Overall, we really lucked out by stumbling upon this shop on Google, I’m so glad we came and experienced all the shop had to offer!! I was also really impressed by the time Anthony took to find reputable piercers/jewelry shops for us in our hometowns so we could get our jewelry sized down in a good shop as we are just visiting. Amanda also was very helpful with jewelry and any questions we had. 10/10 recommend for great staff, cleanliness and professionalism (they are members of the Association of Professional Piercers so have high standards). The folks there obviously love what they do and it was an positive experience in every way. We hope to come again soon!!

Expérience fantastique: I just got a piercing yesterday and Adam was beyond incredible! From the start, he made my friends and I feel so comfortable - he’s knowledgeable, fun, and so personable. When we were checking out earrings and he approached us to give us advice, I remember asking him “are you the one who’s gonna pierce us?” because I absolutely loved his energy! The room was SO clean and his technique was impeccable. It was my first time getting a piercing, and my friend’s second time ever, and we both left with such a positive experience! Expérience négative: Please be advised that this in this company’s tattoo waiver: “I understand that my artist may use Ai to assist in the creation of the initial tattoo design. I understand that I can ask my artist to what extent they use Ai, if any, and that I have final say over the completed design.” This is the first time I have seen this in a tattoo waiver and is the start of a very dangerous precedent. Putting the onus on the client to ask if AI was used vs. the artist disclosing is insulting on top of an already problematic waiver. Was disappointed in the response of staff who didn’t seem to care. Anyone who cares about receiving authentic art I advise to stay away.

Expérience fantastique: My sister and I were visiting Vancouver from eastern Canada, and made a very spontaneous decision to get a couple small tattoos. Thank goodness Fall Tattoo was the closest shop to our hotel because we had SUCH a fun time. Sarah was our artist, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating (and patient while we figured out the little details like size and placement). The outcome of both tattoos was amazing - 10/10. During our session we also asked recommendations for nearby nightlife and several employees came over to give us suggestions. Expérience fantastique: Got my right arm done by Emilio, 12 hours but we did it in three 4 hour sessions. I'm currently power wheelchair bound & the fall was very accommodating and wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend getting work done here, they're well known for tattoo & piercing and have won many awards which are displayed all over the shop. I showed up and Rick, my artist, was there on time and prepared for what I asked for. The people are friendly, the place is clean and organized. I've had a helix piercing with Matt which was a great experience, his placement of the jewelry was perfect and it's healing so well. Today I popped in for some help with my very irritated lobe piercing done at a different studio and was able to get an appointment with Chance. He was so kind and took the time to talk me through everything and gave me great advice. It was very appreciated! Will definitely be back for future piercings.

I got one of her flash pieces and she added colour and shading that made it even better. She's new to Vancouver, get an appointment before she books up! Expérience fantastique: I had my septum pierced here last week by Chance and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He was super informative on how to take care of my piercing, which had been healing perfectly, and the whole process was so smooth! I’m usually quite afraid of needles, but I didn’t feel one bit scared or uncomfortable while having my nose pierced. The staff at the front desk were also so lovely and helpful! They were amazing with finding the type jewelry I was looking for in my price range, and switching out the size of jewelry quickly during my appointment. I’ve been recommending this studio to everyone who asks me and I will absolutely be coming back in the future!

Expérience fantastique: I came in as a very Indecisive walk-in with previous piercings wanting to balance my ear out. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, the studio is clean and beautiful, and my piercer Matthew was Excellent! From helping me choose positioning based on my anatomy, chatting me through my nerves, and top notch sterilization/protocols (I’m in dentistry so I look for these things…) - I would definitely recommend this studio. I love my new double Helix, and although I do not live close, I would be willing to make the drive again. Thank you for a lovely spontaneous Saturday experience.

He absolutely captured what we both wanted in our matching tattoo. The shop was clean and well kept. Everyone was super nice and helpful. They take walk-ins!

And he's so so dedicated to his craft too...his knowledge of 3 dimensional tattoos, colors , abd black and grey is amazing . Money well spent ....i have lots more tattoos to be done and wouldn't trust any other artist ! The staff at the Fall are also the most friendly and accommodating...it's a nice old school shop vibe here !

I was a walk in and she was so incredibly accommodating, easy to work with and talk to and responsive to my questions and changes to design. The end result was absolutely amazing and I could not have been happier with her work. I absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting a tattoo while in Vancouver. You will not be disappointed! I also want to mention that everyone at that shop was incredibly friendly and it was such a welcoming atmosphere.

Expérience fantastique: I have had nothing but great experience at the Fall tattoo & piercing. I have had 3 piercings done with Matt and Chance. I experienced some complications with a couple of my piercings (to no fault of the shop, all my own!) And both Matt and Chance were kind, knowledgeable and caring in assisting with my healing process. The last time I was in the shop Chance went above and beyond in his service. I will not go anywhere else for piercings and would recommend this shop to anyone.

I found her profile through The Fall's instagram, and immediately loved her style and wanted something done. Charlotte was super helpful and responsive when I messaged to arrange a session, and was welcoming and helpful throughout the day. This wasn't my first tattoo, but the first on my leg, and Charlotte let me know what to expect that might be different through the process and during healing. I could see Charlotte being fantastic for anyone intimidated by getting a first tattoo, and for folk with any amount of ink already. I'm already planning my next with her!

Expérience fantastique: I was able to get a drop in appointment with Matthew (due to a convenient-for-me cancellation) for a semi-spontaneous helix piercing. The staff that helped walk me through the instructions and pick my jewelery were so kind and welcoming. The studio was incredibly bright and clean. The entire process from beginning to end was so easy, well communicated and calming. Matthew was excellent! It was so much easier than I had anticipated. I loved his wall of cats in his room as well - just a fun addition to the already excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Expérience négative: I went there hoping they can help me put back my surface that fell off. I had that piercing for more than 10 years so that mean that the hole is healed. The guy didn't really asked questions and ended up wanting to redo a piercing double the size that I had and lower. I ended up at body Jewlz in Metrotown, the girl was really COMPETENT and HELPFUL, she put it back in like it was nothing. For a place that advertise their professionalism in body piercing, I wasn't impressed. They just want your money and think you're a dummy.

The Fall delivers a clean, professional and friendly atmosphere with a team of people who know exactly what they are doing with body modification services. I got a Prince Albert piercing from Chance today. He was knowledgable, friendly and made the experience as quick, easy and as painless as it could be. A master in his craft forsure.
