Experiencia fantástica: Nic did my nipple piercings. She’s an icon, she is the moment. She was professional, informed and WICKED fast, I truly didn’t even feel it. She is the FLASH of body piercing. I cannot recommend this place MORE for piercings. You will not be disappointed. Obviously I can’t add a picture of my piercings but they are accurate and super cute. I’ll definitely be going back at some point for a jewelry change out in the next 6 months.

Experiencia fantástica: Got an eyebrow piercing a month ago and the lady that did it was quick and effortless with it. I was worried at first because she gave me a small curved bar but there was no bleeding, bruising, or irritation at all, it has been healing great! will come back for my next piercing.

Experiencia negativa: I got a total of 4 piercings here: 2 lobes, a septum and a nostril. All of the jewelry was steel, which ended up irritating my nose piercings because of the nickel. My septum was pierced crooked with an externally threaded ring (threads cause micro tears), one side of the hole was almost in the sweet spot but too close to my cartilage and the other is much lower. *I had to take it out My nostril has been an absolute nightmare because I was pierced with the wrong jewelry, an L shape stud with a cone setting instead of the proper flat back with a bezel gem. The bar through the piercing was too long (more than half stuck out after swelling stopped) and caused irritation moving up and down. The leg of the L poked right into my swollen nostril, and the cone setting had been digging into/ widening and sawing at my piercing hole. *I had to get the jewelry swapped with another piercer at a different shop I had done my research before hand and knew what jewelry was best (app & preference) ie; implant grade titanium internally threaded flat back stud with a flat/flush bezel setting for a nostril and an implant grade titanium internally threaded cbr or horseshoe for the septum, BUT I didn’t speak up bc of my social anxiety (which is definitely my fault ik lol). The moral of the story is to call piercers and ask about their piercing process and jewelry options prior to coming in. Please consider going to a piercer that uses the correct jewelry (if you don’t know check app website). I will say that the piercer was nice and I believe everything was sanitary in the studio.

My husband had a neck tattoo done here that looks amazing. I got a ring tattoo years ago that still looks as good as new and I am religious about washing my hands. My 5 year old just got her ears pierced today and she was so nervous but the piercer (I am terrible with names! I am so sorry.) was amazingly kind and patient with her. The staff are all knowledgeable and professional. The place is clean but comfortable. I absolutely love coming here. They definitely have lifetime customers in me and my family.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to Calaveras a total of 3 times and everytime I have had 2-4 hour sessions. Every artist I've dealt with here has been amazing to talk to and has done some amazing work. They are very friendly and approachable. The shop also has an ATM if you need to grab cash there.

Experiencia fantástica: Finally a real standup tattoo artist and shop!! Calaveras is located on fort hood st. When you walk in they greet you and immediately consult about your tattoo/art ideas. Multiple shops in Waco/Dallas area all told me don’t place a tattoo on your ring finger. Ness came through in the clutch, he educated us on the pros and cons didn’t discourage us from the tattoo. Ness kept it 100 and gave us a deal for our ten year wedding anniversary. Highly recommend his skills and we’ll definitely be back, appreciate you Ness.

I came in for a nose piercing and Nick (the piercer) was awesome from start to finish!!!! She imparted much needed information about my piercing, as well as the pro’s and cons of the different placements and types of jewelry to use. After my consultation, I felt quite confident and empowered with my choices.. She explained to me the process from start to finish; And despite my low pain tolerance and fear of needles, she was extremely patient and comforting.. I barely felt anything and it was done before I knew it! THANK YOU FOR DOING A GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

While not y he fault of the St u did, I do wish the sidewalk was wider and the door threshold was smoother for whee k chair crossing.

Experiencia negativa: I went with my sister here because of the high ratings I was coming in from out of the state to get a matching tattoo with my sister. The lady in the front desk was awesome and welcoming but the tattoo artist was horrible he kept talking about sexual things he did to women he made my sister and I uncomfortable. To make things worse my tattoo is infected and faded and I’m all the way in Illinois so I can’t even complain or ask for them to fix it.

Experiencia fantástica: i just had 2 piercings done and the piercer was the BEST. she was so sweet and informative, she made me so comfortable and she was super easy to talk to. one of the piercings i got was my right nostril (i have my left done as well) and she took her time to make sure they were exactly even! she even changed out my other nostril so they would match even more seamlessly. the guys in the shop were also really cool! they hung out and talked to me while she was setting up her station, and they were all super kind as well. 10/10 experience!! (also VERY reasonably priced, if you’ve ever had piercings done elsewhere, you know they can be pricey)

Jason is a joke and literally ruined my face with the worst tattoo, then when I said I didn't like it, he got defensive and rude and even tried to lie to my face about what I wanted on my own person. Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience getting my septum pierced here yesterday! The piercer was able to take me on the spot due to a cancelled appointment. The shop was clean and the piercer thoroughly explained the piercing procedure every step of the way and made me feel like I would look great with my new piercing. She also was clear about aftercare and what to expect. As for the procedure itself, she really made the piercing quick and virtually painless (2/10 on the pain scale for me). I absolutely love the look of my piercing and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to get pierced!

All were super quick , she’s very clean , a great listener and always makes sure you’re happy with placement before piercing. Also had great ink work done by Fernando! I have my first appt with Gumby today but again he’s super nice and the shop hasn’t disappointed yet so I’m certain it’ll go great! 10/10 recommend this shop!

Experiencia negativa: I got both Tragus pierced here. One of them i had my coworker record and clearly shows that she did not pierce her markings. This led to prolonged pain on the ear that was pierced wrong and eventually took it out. I mistakingly went back for a naval piercing and she pierced it too deep. I went to La Familia so they could look at it. She instantly said i had to take it out. I tried myself but it was way too tight for us both so she had to use a clamp. I wish i would have looked at the reviews first.

Experiencia fantástica: Walked in and spoke to the young lady named Nick, who was behind the counter. Told her what I wanted and she spoke with an artist, named Gil. Gil was able to incorporate what I wanted together and it became my tattoo. Thank you very much.

Experiencia fantástica: First time I went in randomly without appointment, they made space for me to do a nose piercing. The staff was very nice. Nick answered my questions. She pierced my nose and husband's brow. We went back to get snake bites later and she took the time to make sure they were even and how we wanted. Definitely recommend this shop for piercings. I haven't had a tattoo there yet, so I can't comment on that.
