Experiencia fantástica: I walked in to get a scar tattooed, it was a really special one, because it was the last mark my kitty left on me before he passed a week ago. Jason was my artist and he did an amazing job with color matching and getting the scar just right. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for a deeply meaningful tattoo. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Came in a couple months ago hoping to get my daith jewelry swapped out after my regular place turned me away and Jojo took me back and did it asap! My piercing had closed up because what I had in there was too small of a gauge so he worked with it, reopened the piercing, and got the jewelry in. I was totally prepared to pay for the service, but Jojo refused telling me I was all good and not to worry about it! I’ve been back since and never had anything short of a fantastic experience!

Experiencia negativa: The piercer Hailey was extremely rude and passive aggressive. I understand coming in close to closing is not ideal, but we arrived an entire hour before the shop closed according to google. I understand having frustration being the only piercer there at the time but that gives you no right to be just downright rude to the point the person you are piercing is too scared to even ask questions. And we weren’t even the only ones! I watched Hailey be rude to another client that arrived after us, wanting a piercing and Hailey just says “WHAT do you want pierced”. This was my first time coming here and I was hoping for a positive experience but will continue to take my business elsewhere. EDITED TO ADD My friend went to a different piercer to get a 2nd opinion on her anatomy for a bridge piercing and turns out she has PERFECT anatomy for it after being told by Hailey she doesn’t.

Experiencia negativa: I usually go there for Jojo but i had Hailey as a piercer that day and she was extremely rude to me and my mom the whole time and after the piercing (a dermal) she gave me no after care or after care instructions (im heavily pierced so i know there's some form of after care) and when i reached out to someone they basically defended her and said there is no after care to pretty much ignore the piercing.... i asked several different piercers if there was after care for a dermal and they all said absolutely yes there is after care. recently too me and my friends went in there, i wasn't even getting pierced, when we walk in there she was the piercer and she was nice to my friends and extremely rude to me and once she realized i was with them she started to become rude with them as well. i do/did love this shop but with the way i was treated makes me not want to go back.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had a few good experiences here with getting my ears and nose pierced. However, I don’t think the gauge and type or jewelry they use is good for sensitive ears. I’ve had two piercings I’ve had to take out (belly button and helix) because they wouldn’t heal. i also got a keloid from the helix. I have small and sensitive ears and they pierced me with the thickest posts ever. I got my conch pierced with a HOOP back in September. They never even asked me if I wanted a stud. And you’re definitely supposed to pierce those with studs. Now I need to switch it out because it’s super irritated.

Casey has done a few of mine and my husbands tattoos and every single one of the tattoos are amazing. I appreciate a tattoo artist who isn't afraid to tell you when there is something wrong with your tattoo idea. My husband and I went yesterday to get tattoos and I got two snakes, which I was expecting to be a smaller tattoo, but he told me that he wouldn't go smaller with it since it has such fine lines and it wouldn't look as good if it was tiny. He doesn't sugar coat things, he just tells you how it is, which I always appreciate. I would rather have people be blunt than end up with a tattoo that could have been improved if they had said something. I know some people could take that as being rude, but he's just extremely honest, which is a good thing when you are getting a tattoo. He's always been extremely kind and I've never had an issue with any of the tattoos I've gotten from him. We are both extremely happy with our tattoos and we will only be going to Casey from now on. We also both got piercings awhile ago from Hailey and she was amazing. My worst fear is needles, so piercings terrify me, but she was very good at keeping me as calm as I could be. I love how my piercings look, so I keep getting more despite my crippling fear of needles. She was very understanding and even made sure I knew I could always change my mind before the piercing and there would be no hard feelings or judgement. I still went through with it and I am very happy I did.

Experiencia fantástica: I had been referred here by a friend, we had both been here for several piercings in the last couple years but yesterday I went in to get my nipples pierced and let me just say Hailey was very informative and helped ease my anxiety the entire time, she answered all of my questions and just wanted to leave that here :) you’re awesome girl!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in with my friend to get her nipples pierced and hailey was our piercer! myself and another friend had been here to get our nipples pierced and had good experiences with another piercer but hailey left a very positive impression! she shared so much useful information i had 0 idea about even though my nipples have been pierced for 4 months. just wanted to leave a good review for her because my jaw was on the floor the whole time she kept sharing information about hormones effecting the piercings, worst case scenario situations and what to do if they happen and just generally useful things you would want to know to take good care of your piercings!

The first person I encountered though,,, asked me what I came in for and didn't seem interested in what I had for an answer. Passed me off to my guy who at least listened to me for a minute before asking if I wanted anything Right Now. So I let him pound out a cool little Native American Snoopy design I brought in. I love him lol. But I walked in talking about a traditional Japanese style Dragon and Koi fish, with a Samurai on top to make a sleeve Maybe they thought I was broke . I have half a day booked next Friday somewhere else where they took my request and ideas seriously Not taking anything from my artist really, I just felt like nobody gave a shit what I was looking for in the first place or the long run. Experiencia negativa: Recently got a couple tattoos done by Jason. We started off with a small walk-in that turned out okay enough that I felt comfortable with getting another tattoo by him. We scheduled another one for a couple weeks later and it unfortunately didn’t turn out very good. Kinda felt like he was rushing through the tattoo and overall the line-work, shading, and attention to detail turned out extremely sloppy. It honestly looks like someone did it with an ink pen and some of the details are just completely lost in the design and don’t make much sense, will probably have to laser it off or completely cover it. Jason seemed like a pretty chill dude and he was easy to talk to but I don’t think I’d ever comeback to get any more work done by him.

Experiencia negativa: No issues for piercings, but I got a small (dollar bill size tattoo) line work only, not micro realism or anything crazy no shading even, but my experience wasn't great. It felt like the artist was fully annoyed that she even had to do the tattoo and was pretty rude and just heavy handed. Overall, the tattoo isn't bad, but it's not great for what I paid. (Around 300) Thats after a bit of reflecting, now that I have a full back piece and a fairly large tattoo on my arm done. I wouldn't recommend them for tattoos overall, but I've never had an issue with any of my piercings. I would actually recommend them for piercings as the pricing is fair and they've always been straight and well placed. Pretty sure my piercer was JoJo he was great - good customer service and good at his trade.

Experiencia negativa: I arrived and everything seemed great until as I was signing the paperwork. My friend asked the artist a question about what kind of tattoos he specializes in. I could immediately tell they didn't approve of the tattoos I was asking for as it didn’t appeal to their taste or style. When we asked him to clarify what he meant by that he turned to me and said I’d regret these tattoos in 5 years and that I was only getting them because it was fashionable to do so, not because they meant anything to me. I decided to opt out of receiving a tattoo from someone who felt so openly regulatory to others body art. While I'm sure some people who come in for tattoos maybe in fact be asking for "fad" tattoos; I feel it's a bad business model to assume that's always the case, and even if it were, to be so closed minded and openly advertise their disapproval. It felt rather dismissive and off putting in the moment. I can't speak for the other artists but I wouldn't recommend Jeremy Flebbe.

Experiencia negativa: I was excited to come here as in Greeley we don’t really have walk-in shops so o came to Fort Collins to this shop hoping to get a piece done. The first person was really friendly and we chatted about my design, but he didn’t have time that day and asked another artist consult. That artist completely ignored me. I stayed for about 15-20 minutes and he didn’t come over to see what I wanted. I saw him getting ready for a different person, but just acted like I was bothering him. The rest of the staff there either ignored me, or just gave me stares. I ended up leaving and going to another shop and they did a fantastic job and costumer service was way better.

Experiencia negativa: The artist (Jason Johnson) that did a tattoo for a friend and I was friendly but I wouldn't recommend him and his "25 years" of experience. His line work was garbage... didn't fill everything in he was supposed to and his lines didn't line up, he should have pressed through the entire line instead of trying to meet in the middle. The "sticky clear bandage" didn't allow for proper care and gave me a rash. The shading he did on her tattoo wasn't consistent. Bottom line he didn't take his time and he overcharged, for almost 2 hours of shop time when overall it took him slightly over an hour to do both. As a repeat customer at Freakshow, this experience will keep me from going back ever again, not even for the no charge touch up, I would have been better off getting the tattoo in a prison or someone's garage.

Usually I go in when Jojo is the piercer just because he's always been super friendly and overall does a great job. however I went in with a friend a few days ago and Hailey was the piercer. I had no issue with this initially but throughout the entire time my friend and I were getting pierced Hailey was very cold and rude. Whenever we asked a question or tried to make conversation she would respond with a snappy and aggressive tone. Definitely will never be going to her for piercings ever again.

He has done over 20 symmetrical facial piercings of mine over many years and not only do they always align right; his artistry is a conversation starter and head turner. Could not possibly recommend someone more in 50 miles around to stab you right.

Experiencia fantástica: Drove up for the day to get my daughter’s nose pierced and called in advance. The guy on the phone was super helpful and made sure that I had all my her info I needed. When we got there we were greeted by the group of people in the main area, all of which were super friendly. She got the piercing done by Jo-Jo and I must say best experience ever. He was super chatty with her and made the entire thing completely comfortable. At the end he went over all the cleaning and instructions and then was sure to give her and I his business card in case we had any questions. Then she got a little goodie bag of things. I initially went because I loved the name but we will for sure be back because it was a fantastic experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I went and got my snakebites and jestrum pierced by Jojo!! Not only was he super professional, but it was one of the best piercing experiences I have ever had. Very budget friendly, but I never felt as if I was losing quality. He meticulously looked at my anatomy and repeatedly had me open and close my mouth to ensure the placement was perfect. He did my jestrum first because it was more painful, demonstrating immense care for my comfort. He was funny and genial. I am so happy with the piercings. More than that, I ended up heading back to get different jewelry for my snake bites because the captive bead rings weren’t working for me, and he refused to let me pay as it was a jewelry swap. Honestly it was a phenomenal experience and I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else now that I’ve been pierced by Jojo!!

This my first tattoo and I had no idea what to do, but I just walked in and asked, and booked an appointment for the next day. At the appointment she was efficient, it was cheaper than I expected, and it felt like a cat scratch. I even made a last second change and she was willing, and even agreed with the reasoning which was nice. Despite having no tattoos before this and having no idea what to expect, I felt comfortable the whole time.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my first tattoo here almost a decade ago done my Dan, who I went to high school with; he is an exceptionally talented individual. Is do not have many photos where you can fully see the wolf atm. I will only have him touch his work so when I get it touched up I’ll have to go to LA where he got recruited to.

Experiencia fantástica: Jojo was freaking awesome!! I felt confident in his skills and that I was getting a great piercing. Minimal pain and easy aftercare follow through instructions. I would go back to Freakshow a million times over!!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my young daughter in to get her ears pierced after a recommendation from a friend. So glad we didn't go to Claire's-- JoJo was great! Very friendly and answered all our questions. Great experience and quality work-- she didn't even flinch and no tears! JoJo explained her after care protocol and sent her home with supplies. When we walked out, my daughter said "I love my earrings! He was the best, Mom!" Thank you so much JoJo!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve always had such a great experience at freak show! JoJo has done all of my piercings and is always so friendly and educates me and sets me up for success during the healing process. He’s chatty and does a wonderful job distracting you from the pain of the actual piercings. I recommend JoJo to all of my friends that want to get pierced! Micah is my tattoo artist and does a kickass job on American traditional tattoos! He’s a rad guy as well.

Experiencia negativa: I seriously hate writing negative reviews, especially considering the work and talent that goes into body art. Firstly, the staff was super friendly, and I enjoyed the time spent in the shop. Sadly, however, the tattoo I received was was exceptionally over priced (my fault for agreeing to it I know) but that’s not my beef. I received zero aftercare advice, my tattoo was not cleaned after it was done, no wrap was applied to protect the fresh wound, and the damn thing is already fading and scarring. It’s incredibly uneven and the tattoo I’ve been planning for years turned out to be a huge mistake. Compared to other shops I’ve experienced, this one is generally unclean and poorly organized. This review killed me to post, seriously I hate writing these but it needed to be said.
