I have been to many shops throughout my life and I don't think I've heard any one meticulously explain process/aftercare etc like Adam. From a moms point of view total kuddos for sure. The entire experience with Solana was wicked smooth - scheduling was easy and the dudes that checked us in were chill. Point is if you need work done my suggestion is to go here - piercing/ink (I've heard good things about their ink artists!)

It was quick and bloodless - perfectly placed. The entire place was clean and neat. It took a little longer than I expected, but it’s a personal service, not a conveyor-belted factory. Experiencia negativa: Eh. Went in for a two tattoos made up of four words total. It cost way too much for the work, more than $200 for less than an hour. The artist was also heavy handed with the ink and went back over parts of it repeatedly, causing some blurring on the line edges (on “let me” really badly - the e will be a c eventually). The letters are uneven as well. Tried to go in another time and told to come on in because there were plenty of spots…but they had none when i got there 15 mins later. It’s a tiny shop, crowded, and miscommunication in appt times and prices.

I wanted a tattoo of his face and his eyes. He had very distinct eyes, one crystal blue and one brown. Igor drew the photo nearly freehand on my forearm. It’s incredible. It’s so real that it’s somewhat difficult to look at. But now I’ll always have Brodee with me thanks to Igor. I can’t thank you all enough. Incredible quality for the price and Igor is amazing. Biz was my first piercer and it was a great experience. She welcomed us kindly and was very encouraging when I was nervous. My piercing fell out the first week due to me cleaning it the wrong way. I immediately came in and Biz was very kind and put it back in with no charge or complaints. Overall have had a great experience and no complaints at all.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had three sparkles fall out since getting 3 piercings done in June/July. My piercer was Biz. I keep going back to get them tightened and still have the same issues each time. It’s very costly paying for so many sparkles for them to fall out while talking (especially my Ashley piercing). My sparkle has fallen out again and I will be going elsewhere to get them tightened and my bar fitted correctly. I have never had this issue and I’ve gotten piercings from the mall before (never again). Very sweet person, loved our conversations. Just tired of constantly having to look for jewelry then sanitize because it just twists off. I understand with anatomy some things may not fit right but with my other piercings I have not had to revisit a piercer so often. Got my Medusa pierced 3 years ago (never fell off because it was so tight). Got new jewelry from solana that they themselves inserted and it’s fallen off multiple times.

Piercings with Adam can take up to an hour however that time is only because of his pure professionalism, and his desire to deliver the best possible work he can. I have also had a tattoo done by Helena and she is absolutely incredible, her attention to detail is unmatched by anyone who has ever worked on me. Her personality done art is incredible, and she truly is a pleasure to have as my artist. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming, the entire environment of Solana is comforting and everyone really does show that the clients are the priority. I didn’t mean for this review to be so long, but I truly do love this business, and can’t wait to continue to allow them to help me express myself.

I also recently had a wonderful experience with a vertical helix apprentice piercing from Lexy, under Adam's guidance. Everyone at this shop is so nice and welcoming. I've always felt incredibly comfortable, whether getting poked or chatting in the lobby. And Sabrina just keeps me coming back. I wandered in on a whim for a Flash Friday with a friend and got randomly paired with her. While working on that tattoo, my first in a long time, I brought up wanting to rework or cover another piece. I came back in for a consult the following month, gave her basically no direction, and she conjured a beautiful moth that covered my previous piece perfectly. I've never met a tattoo artist as talented and charming. My pieces from her are a mix of custom work and flash, and every single one has turned out stunningly. I am now significantly cooler and more popular as a direct result of Sabrina's ink witchery. If you aren't having tattoo and piercing experiences this great, you're missing out. Experiencia positiva: Technically I would give this a 2.5 star. I had a great experience with the front desk and I had a walk in tattoo. I was tattooed by Matt and the line work is not the best. I asked for fine line and simple and the lines are thick and uneven. There are spots where he went fully outside of the stencil. I love the tattoo because it has meaning however I wish he would’ve put a bit more effort into the tattoo. It felt rushed and I didn’t get the before tattoo talk about risk of infection and everything like that. The space felt clean but I wish he would’ve shown how he cleaned it and maybe had the wire of the tattoo gun covered (unsanitary). The tattoo itself cost $98 which didn’t seam right. I understood the shop minimum was $80 but this tattoo isn’t worth $100

I felt so happy with her work, and she does a great job at educating you on how to take care of your new jewelry! I highly recommend getting pierced by her 10/10!

Experiencia fantástica: I just got three tattoos (one just the outline to be finished later) with EZ this week in a 2 hour time slot and had a great experience! I emailed inquiring about availability earlier in the week and they got me in on Friday afternoon. Though my reference photos didn’t get to him until just before the appointment, he had some text drawn up in his own font design ready to go. Ultimately I went with a more printed text and he was super chill about it despite already having something (we are the ones wearing our tattoos for the rest of time). Discussing size, thickness, and font of the third one was great after deciding to go with a more traditional font but still print (rather than cursive). Truly an efficient, friendly, clean, and knowledgeable artists. I look forward to working with EZ in the future on the design to finish the coffin on the lower leg! **Will add photos when healed**

Experiencia fantástica: Adam was my piercer and he was absolutely amazing!! Will be back if I get any others and will recommend him to anyone. The best part was Adam took his timing in educating myself on absolutely everything from the process, the jewelry, the after care… he made sure that everything was lined up perfectly before continuing. His energy was great and he was super funny and made my time and experience awesome!! The place itself was so clean and everyone was nice! 100/10 experience overall.

Experiencia fantástica: I walked into Solana after seeing the fantastic reviews online. All true. Wonderful tattoo and piercing shop. I had a design in mind and Aiden quickly drew up what I was looking for. I received a fine line tattoo. I hardly felt it as Aiden had a light hand. I highly recommend! I’m from out of town but will be back the next time in the area. The entire staff was very friendly.

He’s friendly, extremely sterile and overall has the most genuine spirit you’ll find. i felt well educated on how to care for my piercing before i left and confident before every piercing was executed. wish I could give Adam more stars!! 10/10 would recommend (not to mention his jewelry selection is SICK)

I have had the honor to work with Adam, Biz, and Lexi and cannot express not only how supportive and amazing team there are- but also how educative and thoughtful they make the whole process. In total, i’ve had 7 piercings done here, and multiple others fixed up. if you are in foco and want to get piercings done- please go here. i have been to multiple places in fort collins and this team easily out shines others. although on the more expensive side, trust me every penny is worth it.
