Experiencia negativa: Extremely unprofessional... brought my 16 year old daughter to get her first tattoo. The music was so loud and vulgar I had a migraine the entire time and my wife and daughter were extremely uncomfortable the entire time because of how disgusting the music was... even saw a lil 6 and 8 year old go get their ears pierced and had to walk thru the tattoo area where loud vulgar music is being blasted. The tattoo also cost $600 and took 7 hours and feel like it should have been more like 3-4 hours and $300-400. Wouldn't recommend

I hardly felt any pain with my fourth lobe and cartilage flat piercing. 10 out of 10 recommend! She’s going to be the only one piercing me moving forward. You are in great hands with her!

Experiencia fantástica: Dezzi was amazing!! My sister and I both wanted to get our second lobe piercings, and Dezzi helped both of us to have the perfect piercings! She asks about future plans, usual earrings we wear, etc, showing us the multiple placement options, letting us talk things through and redo the dots as many times as we wished. We both LOVE our piercings, and the whole experience! The piercing itself was relatively painless, as Dezzi calms your anxiety and has lots of experience. For any future piercings, we will be going to Dezzi and will highly recommend Dezzi to anyone and everyone we know! Additionally, the entire shop is very clean and calming! I was nervous going somewhere new, but I absolutely loved it the moment we stepped in!

This was my first tattoo so I had done a lot of research ahead of time, reading reviews, scouting websites and even driving past places to get an idea of location. I knew early on that this was the place I wanted to go! I never thought I'd get a tattoo until my best friend of 14 years passed away. I wanted something that would remind me of her each day. When I called for some information, I was greeted with respect and was scheduled a consultation with Amanda who specializes in pet portraits. I told her what I had wanted and when appointment time came she blocked her whole day for me. Amanda was patient throughout the process, super nice, and was so meticulous and detailed oriented. She did such an incredible job, far exceeding my expectations. The place is incredibly clean, everyone was so laid back and welcoming and they even have snacks, drinks, pool and foosball for relaxation. I HIGHLY recommend this place and all the positive reviews speak for themselves. Everyone that has seen my tattoo has said it looks exactly like my dog. I can't thank you guys enough, especially Amanda, for such a great experience and one that I will never forget!

Even though I didn’t get a piercing done by her, she was incredibly helpful. She took the time to assist me and truly goes out of her way to accommodate whatever the client needs. She took her time, was super gentle, and made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. She always goes out of her way to help and is just the sweetest person overall. Experiencia fantástica: Took my 7 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time. We were a walk-in and everyone was so kind, and they accommodated us even though they were running behind. She’s on the spectrum and they were so incredibly sweet and patient and reassuring. We had Isaac, he put numbing cream before and a numbing spray after. He was fast and efficient, and came out perfect and even. They even gave her a candy afterwards, definitely recommend this place, especially since they are bilingual and speak Spanish!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom, sister and I went in on Saturday evening spontaneously to get small matching tattoos of ladybugs. The entire experience was awesome. It was my mom and little sister’s first time getting a tattoo. Elijah did a great job drawing up the design and making small tweaks as we requested. He was patient and super helpful throughout the entire process. Jeff was in the shop and he made us feel extremely comfortable. He offered us snacks and drinks while we were waiting for each other to get our tattoos done. He stuck around and talked to us the whole 2 1/2 hours we were there. Another artist, Kevin, was also in the shop at the time. He was also super engaging and funny. Overall, it was a really great experience and I 10000% recommend stopping in to get your next tattoo! We will certainly be back!

Experiencia fantástica: Best Tattoo shop in Richmond hands down. 99% of the shops in RVA are cookie cutter traditional garbage shops with a bunch of clowns with bad attitudes working there. Not this shop. The vibe here is on point. Everything is modern. Every artist is phenomenal and they all have great attitudes because they’re working at a place that respects them and treats them as they duly deserve. The clients get treated like family and there is a good reason why they come back. There is no competition for west end tattoo because they are miles ahead of everybody else.

The staff greeted us (my sister tagged along) and within a few minutes I was helped. As a walk-in the wait was not long at all. Karina was my piercer and she was AWESOME!! She walked me thru everything and let me know what she recommended. She was very calm and helpful. The other staff members were nice too. My sister had some questions for tattoo ideas and she was helped as well. I'd definitely return here for any other piercings and possibly some more tattoos in the future.

I had Dezzi do my piercings and she was wonderful! Very meticulous with the piercings themselves making sure they were perfect (and they are), took time to go over everything with me about the procedure, after care, and made sure I didn't have any questions myself. She has a knack for putting you at ease, is extremely friendly and even reiterated I could call anytime if I had any questions. She even followed up with me days after to just check on how they were healing. Dezzi is definitely an asset to this business! I will be back!

The environment was current, from the decor to the music. I had an appointment, so wait time was minimal. Start to finish for a medium sized tattoo was a little over an hour. Very happy with how things turned out. Highly recommend! Ask for Elijah.

Experiencia fantástica: Walk-in experience, called beforehand and the receptionist made it a breeze! I texted over a few photos, and came in a bit later to finalize design and get to it. Ivan Marquez was my artist and he did awesome work, the lines are very clean & shading is well blended- color is packed in there and at one point, I even forgot I was getting the tattoo! Definitely an excellent artist & he put his all into it, I'm very happy and would recommend both him & the shop! Atmosphere was very nice, seating available while waiting- and a great playlist. Their photos accurately reflect the quality of work I got, saw progressing, and healed works that walked in to rebook while I was there! :)

Experiencia negativa: Their old piercer, Zach, was the ONLY reputable piercer at the shop. A year ago, I got a piercing by him which healed amazingly and I am INCREDIBLY happy with. Zach does not work at West End tattoo anymore and I would NEVER go here now, knowing that. Most recently, I stopped into West End tattoo and was met with groggy employees, a dirty store, and very limited options. Someone tried to sell me non-implant grade nipple jewelry. Zach (in my opinion, the best piercer in RVA, and I have seen him for years now) has moved to Precision Family Piercing in Ashland, which is where I go now.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my belly button pierced here today by the sweetest gal, Karina & she did an AMAZING job! Super professional & thoroughly answered all my questions. This was the least painful piercing experience I have ever had, including when I got my earlobes done. The front desk staff was so friendly & got me checked-in immediately. My total was $80 before tip (including the surgical steel jewelry they placed in) which I thought was an incredible price for the experience & work I had done. I would recommend Karina if you are looking to get any piercings! ☺️

She beautifully created my vision for the tattoo and provided me with more knowledge on fine line tattoos. I would definitely recommend her! Experiencia fantástica: I took my 13 year old daughter here for an ear piercing. I was expecting to pop in on a busy weekend afternoon and make an appointment for later. Not only were we greeted right away, but the lovely piercer Karina came and spoke with us, in the middle of working and let us know to come back in 30. Now I'm not condoning not making an appointment, but it was just so nice they worked us in, almost right away. Karina is so sweet and comforting. I got a pretty brave kid, but I know Karina's warmth helped. I'm sure she's done a million piercings and she made us feel like my daughters second earlobe piercing was the most important thing she'd done that day. Experiencia negativa: Britt did an awesome job with my nose piercing! Super chill person, very communicative, educated, and just overall made the experience comfortable. I really appreciated her emphasis on the placement, and how changing it is no issues. ^ first experience, awesome! Then I came back after ripping my piercing out and met Aziza. She was so rude, rough, and just isn’t worth going back for. She didn’t seem to care about someone who had gotten pierced at west end and needed help, just making more money on people who walked in after. Would literally tell people to avoid this place. If you want a licensed piercer who actually cares to see Zach at Precision Family Piercing.

Experiencia negativa: I walked in for a tattoo and Karina said she could tattoo me right away. She proceeded to make me wait over 1.5 hours while she pierced three people who walked in the door way after me. I wanted a very small tattoo that would’ve taken just as long as one of those piercings. She did not say anything to me while I waited or as she continued to let people skip in front of me. Eventually she had let so many people go in front of me that I just left. I thought it was very unprofessional and disappointing

Experiencia fantástica: I got a rose on the side of my ribs and am going to be going back to get a cross on my upper thigh. i got my work done by Karina Azevedo, she did an amazing job on my rose tat. she was very thorough in her work, this was my first so i had a great experience with her. definitely will recommend her for your first or other tattoos. she did a great job and i am very happy with the results.

Experiencia fantástica: When I came in, I was greeted by a lovely person. They asked what I came in for and got me settled with the paperwork and told me Ashley would be able to do my nose piercings. Ashley was kind and super knowledgeable with her craft. Seriously she took the time and used all tools at her disposal to measure and make sure they were nice and symmetrical. She walked me through each piercing and took the time to clean and take care of the piercings. After she talked to me and didn't like rush me out or anything and just talked to me. Also apparently they have a setup in a Harley Davidson shop, which sounds so fire! Idk it was just a nice experience, honestly.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a walk-in client with the best experience. ISAAC, ASHLEY, and AMANDA are the tattoo artists and CORINA is the piercer that I will always request from here on out. I felt super comfortable and confident the entire time that I was in the best hands of the best artists! The shop felt like walking into your dream shop full of all your coolest siblings sharing stories about their weekend and their family, with each artist being so unique and inviting. It was an awesome experience and I am so grateful. It's always a big relief to find a shop I can trust to deliver quality work with ease and enjoyment.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an appointment today (11/4 ) with Ivan and I want to start off by saying the whole staff was awesome! I felt super comfortable and welcome coming in and it is a clean environment! I am absolutely in love with my piece! Ivan did a fantastic job at executing what I wanted and I look forward to coming back!

Experiencia negativa: I was there shy of 7 hours, waiting to get my snake bites back. The piercer there on Saturday November 2nd pierced everyone but me, those of which were walk ins as well. I was told because I came in a group, they were waiting for my friend to get close to done before getting to me. Well, Mrs. Karina Azevedo told me it would be another hour despite my friend being finished with getting her tattoo, which looked amazing on her hip. So, I guess don't show up in a group wanting snake bites while they want tattoos. Ya might not get em. But it's weird, I filled out the form for an appointment and talked to someone at the shop about setting it up despite other artist were at a different location for the Harley event, but she never got it.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is awesome! I got my first tattoo done by Ash a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. She really helped calm my nerves and my tattoo has healed beautifully. Will definitely be coming back here for more!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to this shop about 7 times since they opened. I’ve been tattooed by both Chris and Amanda. Their work is awesome. The whole environment is great and everyone is so nice! It’s the kind of shop that you can run to when having a piercing emergency… like I did. Having a panic attack. With a ring stuck in my nose. At 7pm. So, yes. I love West End Tattoo!

Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment scheduled for 2:15 for 3 ear piercings. Arrived at 2:18 and was told the artist was just finishing lunch. No problem. Because the online booking does not have a place to disclose allergies I did not mention my latex allergy. Then when they called to confirm they did not ask about allergies and it slipped my mind (admittedly both our faults). So when I got there and signed the disclosure I let the front desk know I had a latex allergy. They said no problem. We proceed to wait over an hour at which point they took someone else who came in after us only to get back there and be told they do not have non-latex gloves in the right size for the piercer. I’m very disappointed and upset that in the hour we sat waiting past appointment time they didn’t let us know. Clearly they are unorganized and unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: Really like this tattoo shop! All the staff are very nice and considerate. They are very knowledgable and offer insights without being pushy. Have gotten 4 tats there and on books for more. Shop is very clean and entertaining! All the artists seem interested in the tat you are getting no matter who is doing the artwork. They are more concerned with your tattoo experience at the shop than just doing the job and you’re out the door!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Went in today with my wife to get our first tattoo with each other and I have nothing to say but AMAZING!! This place had amazing vibes and everyone was super friendly. Amanda did an amazing job!! I have found my new shop and will send everyone that way!!! 40 outta 5 stars for yall!

She made sure they were in line with each other perfectly before actually piercing them, Everything was very clean! She’s also super nice!! Makes you feel very welcome! If you’re thinking about a piercing go to her!!

Experiencia fantástica: Came here from NY to visit VA and this place was hands down a perfect tattoo shop to go to without an appointment for 2 quick small tattoos. My guy was very helpful and super nice the whole time , I highly recommend this place for anyone In the area looking to get some ink or piercings. Check them out ! You won't regret it. Experiencia fantástica: Aziza was amazing! She was so sweet & talked me through everything. I got my eyebrow done and was extremely worried about the pain, but she made sure the bar was long enough to account for swelling and cleaned up the piercing better than any of the other places I’ve been to. She also talked to me about aftercare which I’m extremely thankful for. I will definitely be going back to change the bar into a shorter one!

Experiencia fantástica: My go to place! Britney was so kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and gentle. I’ve had my nose pierced here and continue to come back for help/fix and they’ve ALWAYS been so helpful and they truly care for their customers. A safe place as well. Also beautiful nose jewelry!

Experiencia fantástica: I had my ears pierced/repierced (I had let old holes close) with Aziza, who was fantastic. She worked with my existing holes, was able to reopen most without piercing, redid one piercing that was crooked, and redid my helix. She was awesome. She made me feel super comfortable with everything and all her "stuff" was clean and sterile. Aziza also gave great advice about what jewelry to pick. Would highly recommend you see her for piercing.
