I’m a 67-year-old grandma who got her FIRST tattoo (well, really my first two tattoos) by Eli on Wednesday. Saying I was nervous and anxious is an understatement. Safe House Tattoo has a great energy and vibe. Eli was so very kind to me. He exhibited great patience in answering my many questions. Experiencia fantástica: First off, I 100% recommend Safe House Tattoos and the artist who did my tattoo, Will Campbell. The picture I took was in a Lululemon’s dressing room. My tattoo looked so good that I just had to take a picture and do a review. I’m obviously wearing underpants in this photo. Back to the tattoo!! I got a half sleeve on my left side leg to thigh. I wanted something beautiful that I could be proud of on that side because I had a previous blacked out scarred up rose. A two year old cover up. I talked to Will about what we could do to fix or enhance that side. He started drawing on my tattoo, and the rest was history. He did his own style, asked my opinion on it, was honest about what he didn’t think would look good on me, and what he thought would. If you don’t want a true artist and an honest person… Then pick someone else! Will is also respectful, kind, and a professional. He tries to make the experience comfortable for you. The owner is very kind as well and welcoming. He walks around and says hi to all the tattoies lol. It’s a warm environment, aesthetically pleasing, and CLEAN. Go try out the shop, and the artist I worked with Will Campbell. I hope you enjoy your experience! I sure did and adore my tattoo! P.S. I did about 3 sessions (1full day= 6hrs. 2 half days. So in total 12 hours total to complete this piece) My last tattoo session was December 9th ,2025. I took this picture December 26th. Wow right! I healed beautifully, and my tattoo looks as vibrant as it did December 9th.

I was coming from out of town, so I had been in contact with the shop via email, regarding my design ideas, for a couple of weeks leading up to my trip. They were always very responsive and helpful about offering suggestions to aid me in the decision making process - both about my design choice and the best artist for the job. Once I arrived on the day of my appointment, I found the shop to be every bit as clean and modern as it is depicted on the website. I was immediately greeted at the front desk and checked in. After a few minutes, my artist, Eli Draughn, came out to the waiting area and presented me with several options incorporating the ideas I had been communicating ahead of time. From there, he took additional input back to his drawing table and came up with the exact design I had in my mind's eye. Next, we worked together to make sure the size, color, and placement were just what I wanted. Even though all the prep on the day of the appointment took some extra time, at no point did I feel like Eli was rushing to get me out of there so that he could move on to his next appointment. I'm absolutely thrilled with the way the tattoo turned out, and I could not recommend Safe House Tattoo, and Eli Draughn, more highly.

It was my first color tattoo and she didn't hesitate to kindly answer all of my questions no matter how silly they felt to ask. She is so friendly and comforting, I loved hanging out with her- she's so easy to talk to! I enjoyed the station with all her art and the music she put on. Out of my 6 tattoos, she is my favorite artist I've had work done by, and I hope I can track her down again one day! The shop was clean and filled with cool eclectic art. Every artist I interacted with was so nice. My only complaint is that I live 9 hours away from this shop!

Experiencia fantástica: Update: I saw the tattoo fest in Nashville, which reminded me of Safe House tattoo, and I decided to change this to 5 stars. Chip gave me my first tattoo. It was 4 hours, full color, on my hip (over stretch marks) After having numerous tattoos, I have learned a bit about placement and color. My choice of placement sucked. As a fresh 18 yo, I didn't do proper aftercare, and I didn't know that some people's skins will not accept certain colors. For the retouch session, Chip asked if I'd accept black line work and I insisted on blue. 100% my fault. I paid $400 dollars for a tattoo by Chip Harbin. The first time i went the tattoo looked great, but when it healed the ink didn't heal well (no fault of his own). However, I went back two days ago to get it retouched and the line work looks terrible. (I posted pictures) all of the staff are very friendly and most of the tattoos coming out of there look awesome. Touch ups were free which was great, and customer service and vibe were great as well, but in my opinion the tattoo isn't worth $400.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited Safehouse Tattoo Studio on October the 4th, I had an appointment scheduled with Will Campbell at least 3 months in advance. The day finally came to get my tattoo! I presented an idea of what I wanted my tattoo to be. When I arrived at my appointment, Will had offered some ideas of his own and turned the piece into something so beautiful and original. He is an amazing artist and made me feel extremely comfortable for a 7 hour tattoo session. The tattoo turned out beautifully and is something that I will love and cherish forever. I highly recommend this tattoo studio for anyone visiting Nashville, and if you end up going here, ask for Will! Make sure if you are getting a big piece to schedule it at least 2 months in advance.

I came in with a wild idea — a large fantasy dragon, textured to look like it could leap off my skin and snatch someone — and she didn’t even flinch. No matter how far-fetched it sounded, Kim listened, absorbed every detail, and brought it to life with jaw-dropping artistry. This was my first tattoo, and yeah — I went big. On top of that, I’ve been terrified because I’m diabetic, and let’s be real: doctors don’t exactly encourage tattoos. But Kim made the entire process feel safe, calm, and grounded in skill. Not only did the tattoo turn out insane (in the best way), but it also healed beautifully. Kim is the kind of artist you don’t just find — you hold onto. It doesn’t feel transactional; it feels collaborative. 10/10 would recommend. In addition, overall atmosphere of the shop is very similar to a friendly gathering , welcoming, professional, and extremely clean. Edit: Google wont let the same profile leave multiple reviews. I had a long thing about Carrie Cameron's amazing work on my "bee and nature themed" sleeve. Carrie brought my full sleeve concept, birds, bees, and integrated the work in a way I couldn’t have imagined. Her eye for flow and composition across my entire arm is so dope. The line work is flawless, the contrast is bold, and I love it!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a session with Eli earlier this summer, and it was great. The shop was clean, friendly, and it was immediately clear that everyone is welcome in the space. I contacted the shop through their online form about an idea, to which Eli seemed interested and confident he could create what I was looking for, along with providing the predicted price of work. When I arrived for the session, the design was immediately ready for final approval, and he set to work shortly afterward. Eli is a very good conversationalist while also maintaining clear focus on the work itself - the time flew by. When it was done, I was given saniderm to protect the new work and aftercare instructions for the coming days; when it came to pay, there were no surprises - the price was what was given in my initial contact, and I think, very fair for the time needed and skill demonstrated. I was also offered free touch ups if i noticed anything off as it healed. At this point, I'm past the two week mark for healing, and there are no blown out areas, raised skin, or any other issues to speak of; I am confident the work will look great for years to come. When the time comes to get more, I plan to reach out to Eli again. I would recommend Safe House to anyone looking to add artwork to their skin.

Experiencia fantástica: I was looking for a Nashville artist who specialized in black/grey floral to complete my sleeve. When I saw Jamine Jade's work on Instagram, I knew she was the one! We had our first full-day session earlier this week and she completed most of the line work - it's gorgeous! Jasmine is a consummate professional, giving me lots of opportunities to make adjustments on sizing, design, and placement before getting started. We somehow found things to chat about for almost 7 hours, making the time fly by and providing a super friendly, warm vibe all day. I've been to many studios over the years and Safe House is probably the nicest. It's super clean, comfortable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Safe House, especially Jasmine, for your next tattoo!

The aura is everything I've wanted in a tattoo shop-- fun, clean, organized, creative. You can really tell the people here love working with one another. My artist Jonny took his time perfecting my goofy tattoo, and his passion for making every work better than the last is what makes it so special. My sister came back the next day for his steady hand and kind company. Adam and Nova were also great artists and people to chat with while we were getting tatted. I respect this place so much and wish nothing but the best for them.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in to get a tattoo memorial of my dog. I changed my mind on what I wanted multiple times before I got there and didn’t have a clear vision when I got there. Carrie talked through my ideas with me and was happy to make adjustments when I saw the drawing initially. She put incredible detail in the tattoo, even recognizing an old scar on my dog’s ear that I didn’t even mention about adding. The whole tattooing process was so smooth I fell asleep. I love the open space of the shop & how invested in each other’s work the artists are. It appears to be a very supportive environment. It was well worth the 6.5 hour drive and I will do it again!

Experiencia negativa: Customer service was great, the artist was sweet, the finish product is disappointing me more and more as it heals. I got a tattoo finished so I expected the original to still be slightly visible and have no issue with that. I do love the design that Jasmine made and I loved the finished product, but as it heals I notice more and more imperfections that would need to be touched up. Almost every line has some part that is shaky, inconsistent in width, or is grey or patchy. From a beginner that may be expected but from a professional that has been practicing multiple years, specializes in fine line tattooing, and charges $160 an hour, I should not need to get my entire tattoo touched up just for it to look as it should. I have seen so many healed pieces by Jasmine that look amazing so I’m very surprised that mine is so disappointing. I regret spending so much only to need to get the whole thing touched up. This is it 3 weeks healed.

Everyone was friendly and were always professional about clients tattoos from my own to others. The shop itself was clean and very well organized and had an awesome aesthetic. I greatly appreciated the fact that the owner came in consistently to check up on the artists and the clients. Now for the important part of this post. Carrie Cameron is phenomenal from her professionalism to her ability to make an idea come to life. She was very flexible in scheduling especially since my work life is very unpredictable being in the military. She was considerate and made sure I was comfortable as we powered through the sessions and even offered me an orange to snack on lol. I completely trusted her and appreciated the fact that she took artistic liberties to make this tattoo unique. Her attention to detail, shading techniques, line work, and overall artistry has made me want to make scheduled trips back to the Nashville area for all my future tattoos. Long story short this place was beyond great and can’t recommend it more.

Experiencia fantástica: I booked a session with Carrie a few months out from my 40th birthday. I live in Michigan but Safe House was recommended to me by a local friend. My favorite part of the whole experience was Carrie being so chill and calming me down almost immediately after our appointment started. She walked me through ideas because I was all over the place and the end result was exactly what I envisioned. The studio itself was inviting and just the right temperature and also had some cool tunes going. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and you could tell that the vibes were on point. The shop itself is spotless and has a cool vibe. If you're looking for top-notch work in a clean and comfortable environment this is it. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.

Jasmine was WONDERFUL- she helped me turn my mental pic into a gorgeous tattoo, took her time making sure we got the right sizes and curves so my tattoo looks like it belongs on me, gave me my favorite tattoo yet, and was super sweet the whole time! She helped build on my ideas to make my tattoo pure art and also took time to clarify my goals and make sure I was okay with everything from line weights to sizing to shading, which was great when I was nervous! The price almost felt like stealing. The vibes here were immaculate- clean, good music, friendly people, and privacy walls! I’ll definitely be returning!

The booking process is easy and thorough, the space is clean and comfortable, and the artists are committed to making sure your vision for your tattoo is executed beautifully. They were able to work with on our design in advance of our visit to Nashville and went above and beyond staying late to get my wife and myself exactly what we wanted. Eli is phenomenal and for me was able to recreate and greatly improve a tattoo my Dad had on me but better. It payed tribute to the original while making it my style. Eli Draughn was an amazing artist and so helpful and already had different sizes of my tattoo to choose from when I arrived. The staff was welcoming as well. 10/10!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a tattoo with Adam yesterday and I can’t say enough great things! I felt comfortable and taken care of the second I walked in the door. All staff that I came in contact with were friendly and professional. The shop has an awesome vibe, it’s a good mix of trendy and old school. It is also incredibly clean, I had no concerns whatsoever. Adam not only delivered an incredible tattoo, he also was a pleasure to visit with for the day. I would love to come for another piece in the future! 10/10 experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Safe House Tattoo, and my artist Nova, are the absolute best! The tattoo shop itself was clean, inviting, and professional. Nova was fantastic to work with all the way from my initial inquiry to the final tattoo. I had reached out to get a tiger head design on my leg and sent over some rough inspiration to give Nova a starting point. When I came in the day of my appointment, she was ready to go with an awesome sketch and two color schemes to choose from. Nova spent the time being through with the outline and then really packing in the color on the piece. She was great to chat with during the tattoo and was awesome with checking in to see if I needed any breaks, or water, etc. I'm so happy with the completed tattoo. The placement, size, color ... everything ... was just what I wanted. Nova really took the time to make me feel comfortable and ensure that I was happy throughout the entire process. I can't say enough great things about how talented she is as an artist and her use of color. Highly recommend Nova, and Safe House Tattoo, and will be back again for more art in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: Jasmine was wonderful! So patient and very talented! My design was simple line work, but that be hard too, and requires a very steady hand. I'm thrilled with the result! The eyeliner and lipstick are meant to be messy, a nod to Robert Smith. Safe House is really nice, welcoming, comfortable, and clean shop. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and efficient, with great automated reminders your upcoming appointment. Will Campbell, was the artist I worked with and he is extremely talented so he was booked up for a month before he could get me in the studio. I chose to work with Will Campbell for his skill/experience working in greyscale/black and white. The consultation/advice/application knowledge of Will and the other artists in the studio was extremely important and beneficial for me as this was only my 2nd tattoo experience and a much larger project than a simple wedding band tattoo. Love the final product, and have already made another appointment to add to what was done.

Experiencia fantástica: I was on vacation in Nashville and chose Safe House because of the high stars on Google reviews. I was not disappointed! As soon as you walk in you are treated like a friend. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful. This was only my second tattoo and I was a little nervous (my first tat was 15 years ago!). But everyone reassured me and talked me through the whole process. Eli was my artist and he took my design and made it a million times better. He helped me with placement and told me where it would look best and he was so right!! Eli helped me feel calm and relaxed (even though the tattoo wasn’t pain free- normal for its placement). I am so happy with everything. The next day I received an email from safe house checking on me. Three days later I got another one. They answered my questions when I started to panic lol but everything was as it is supposed to be. Safe House was super responsive as well. I cannot recommend them enough! The price and time were definitely well worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: Visited a traveling artist, ToadTat2 (Thaddeaus Allen) at Safehouse. Beautiful, clean, friendly shop. Free spacious parking. Shop location is kind of easy to miss as its in a fancier looking strip mall with small signage. Communication is quick and professional via their website or most of their artists do Instagram DMs. Kind of pricey, but worth it to support the traveling artist.
