The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to anything jewelry and piercing related. I appreciate the time taken to have an in depth conversation about jewelry types / healing tips / and overall piercing information. It feels amazing to not only have beautiful piercings with gorgeous jewelry, but to also have a fun experience everytime I go!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in today to get my navel pierced for my bday with Evan, though I didn't have the right anatomy for it which evan informed me why a naval wouldn't be the best, I appreciated that so much. So instead I got a nose piercing and she made me feel so comfortable and it didn't hurt at all! She was very kind, gentle and fast! The place was also very clean, professional, and overall a good vibe.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my navel jewelry replaced at ICON and they did amazing. A month ago I went to ICON because my new navel piercing was in severe pain (note: I didn’t get my navel done at ICON, I got it from a completely different piercing and tattoo store). I couldn’t stand, sit, walk, or lay down without being in a lot of pain. I thought I was wrongly taking care of my piercing but that wasn’t the case. Apparently the piercer at the previous shop gave me jewelry way too small, making it extremely difficult to clean the bar of the jewelry, causing a build-up of bacteria (according to my piercer). I got this piercing done in my college town and thankfully I couldn’t make the mistake of going back there due to being on break. My piercing was agitated, very red, excreting puss, and was not healing in the slightest. The person at the front and the piercer each did an evaluation on my piercing and were both so kind to me (unfortunately I don’t remember their names). I was very anxious throughout the entire process because of the pain I was in from the previous jewelry and because of my fear of bodily fluids. When I told my piercer this she was so kind and respectful and talked me through the entire process. After she was done putting in the new jewelry she gave me all the time I needed to relax and calm down because of how light headed I was. I felt instantly better with my new jewelry and could tell the difference immediately. My piercing is doing so much better now and I don’t regret going to ICON. Although I now have spent $170 on this single piercing, ICON has made me excited to get my next (I’ve learned my lesson). The jewelry quality is amazing and the staff are so professional, kind, respectful, and understanding.

We were greeted by the kindest employee who talked our anxious 8-year-old through the process and helped her pick out her jewelry. Tirza was her piercer and was attentive and thorough. I went in for my Rook, after being turned away from another shop, and the piercer came out to look at my ears and was able to do it no problem! Super comfortable and easy process. I was a walk-in and didn’t wait more than 10 or so minutes. The staff was super involved and helpful in selecting jewelry! I appreciated that so so much. I’ll be going back for my helix and can’t wait! Would highly recommend, as everyone there was an expert and were super inviting.

I got Sarah who did my piercings and she did amazing, I would definitely ask for her again! My friend had Evan and she was absolutely amazing as well! I sat in on my friend’s piercings and she was so personable which I really love when a shop makes me feel welcome! Overall the whole staff was super friendly. My friend and I were asking so many questions and they were so helpful through it all! We will definitely be back for more piercings here and we highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: 1000/10 recommend! I went to get my septum piercing redone after it’s been out for 2+ years. Betty saw the old piercing was still there and was able to get a ring in without repiercing it. I didn’t even feel a thing! The shop is clean, everyone is nice af and their selection of jewelry is the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been pierced in a lot of different shops.

I came into Icon for a second opinion about my new piercing, which was not healing properly. June helped me out front and was so kind and welcoming. BettyAnn assessed the state of the piercing, and then helped me remove the old jewelry from my piercing and replaced it with the appropriate jewelry. Despite the initial piercing being done elsewhere, BettyAnn and June were so gracious and helpful. My piercing seems to finally be healing properly and it feels SO much better. I’m so grateful for y’all’s help and y'all have certainly won over a new client. I can’t wait to come back in for my next new piercing!

Experiencia positiva: Took my daughter here to get her navel pierced. Piercer messed it up, and the jewelry was crooked. Had to wait 4 weeks to repierce. When the time came to repierce, the piercer wasn't available for almost 2 more weeks (medical issues she had no control over) but still, no other option was offered. They didnt offer another piercer to correct the mistake. Upon returning I learned that you have to bring your kids birth certificate again even though she had been pierced by the shop 5½ weeks prior already, so we had to reschedule once again. Were going back today at 4, so I'll update my review after we finally get what we paid 150$ for nearly 6 weeks ago. Update: finally got her navel pierced and this time it was done correctly. Grace (our piercer) was friendly and welcoming. Still wouldn't rate this shop above 3 stars. Maybe 3.5. They are nearly twice as expensive as other shops and that's no fun when you have to go through the wringer to get something done correctly. Wouldn't recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I got my ears pierced here for the first time a few years ago. The piercers assured me the starters they sold me were the “highest quality” and that the backings were universal. When I first tried to take them out on my own (6 months after I got them done) they were in so tight I couldn’t do it (nor could any of my friends) and had to go in to have a piercer take them out for me. They said they would “loosen” them for me. After that, a stud immediately fell out and I had to get a replacement. Since then it falls out a lot but I’m usually able to find it, except when I don’t. Seeing as how it’s a dot of a diamond size, it’s usually a wash. Since that, I’ve lost THREE studs because they loosened them by so much. But if my only option is so tight I can’t take them out and so loose they fall out on their own, what choice do I have? Also, the backing doesn’t fit any of my non icon earrings so how are they universal? The piercers do a good job of filling you with false confidence, but not a good job in explaining upkeep and loss prevention. Disappointing

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to get a red and black semicolon in honor of suicide prevention and self-harm awareness. We went through a few designs and decided on a semicolon with the wing. Reminiscent of a butterfly. I was very specific though in the fact that I wanted a semi colon. After sending her back a few times to redo the stencil we finally decided on a very simple semi colon with a wing. But somehow I ended up with two butterflies that does not resemble a semicolon at all. Below is what I wanted it should not have been hard at all vs what I got.

Icon was the only local shop that Redditors had only great things to say. My friend and I scheduled appointments at the same time so we could go in together for my nostril piercing and her tattoo. The location is very clean, and the staff were all friendly, warm, and welcoming. Melody did my nostril piercing; she talked me through every step of the process, which eased my nerves. She was very gentle, and very thorough in providing information about how she was choosing placement based on my anatomy. She was patient and provided reassurance that I'd picked jewelry that was proportional to my face. She gave detailed after care instructions (both verbally and via the Icon pamphlet provided) and answered all my questions. The shop has a huge variety of jewelry to choose from as well! Overall great experience! I will definitely be a return customer for future jewelry purchases, as well as for any future piercings I may get!

Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will help you select the best piece for your need. Came in with a friend to get our ears pierced and had a great experience with Baz! The only disappointment was the customer service experience due to misinformation listed on the website - we scheduled our appointments on a less convenient day and time thinking the piercing fee would be waived booking with an apprentice. On arrival, we were told this was not the case, even after showing the website stated otherwise. The website has since been updated with the information told to us, correcting this error, but still frustrating that what was previously listed wasn't honored.

Experiencia fantástica: I had two major irritation bumps on my tragus piercing after another shop pierced me with a hoop. I’m not from the area so I took a chance on this shop and they did a fantastic job! I was able to walk in with no appointment and get my jewelry changed within 20 minutes for a reasonable price. It’s been about 3 weeks and the bumps on both sides of the piercing are gone. I don’t live in TN but if I did I would absolutely go back to this shop. Staff was also super friendly and helpful!

But I came to icon to have an infected piercing done by someone else checked out and they were so knowledgeable and helpful. They took my piercing out, gave me advice on how to care for it and better options for replacing it once it was healed. Would highly recommend.

Out of the plethora of artists there, Tim and Sid were the most welcoming and had the best vibes which is why I stopped. Experiencia fantástica: I have been to many tattoo shops. Icon is uniquely clean and inviting. The staff and artists are all very friendly and eager to help. The first time my wife and I went, we came in as walk-ins, and we were actually surprised that they had two artists avaliable that both exceeded our hopes and expectations. Artist "Amanda" did my wife's magnolias on her arm, and the fine line work is incredible. I got a neck tattoo by Artist "Christian." I was so happy with what Christian did, I knew I found the perfect person to do the large chest piece. I gave him a concept, and he designed something better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Icon for their welcoming, friendly, positive atmosphere and excellent, accessible artists.

Experiencia negativa: I got a tattoo from Sean back in April and it's the worst tattoo I have. I've done 5 sessions with him in total, 4 were "touch ups". It's just a little white spear on my arm, which is lacking an outline, not fully filled in, and crooked for some reason. Every time I've gone in I've asked him to fix the outline and he just won't do it. The first session felt very rushed, and each touch up even more so. He seemed nice enough at first, but every session I could tell he was annoyed that I'd asked that he fix it. In all fairness it's a fully white ink tattoo, but all of my other tattoos are too. I've never needed a touch up/follow up for those (one of which was done by an apprentice who'd never done full white before). I completely understand if you're uncomfortable or unfamiliar working with specific inks or styles, but that's something you really need to say upfront. Now I'm stuck with this $150 sub-par tattoo that I'm going to have to pay someone else to fix, cause I really don't trust the same guy to do another "touch up" or make it right. I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm just very disappointed in what I paid for and how it was handled. Sean's aftercare was good, and I have no doubt that he's good at working in other inks, but he really really should've let me know before-hand, or actually tried to make it right afterwards. I was looking to find an artist I could regularly go to, this is not it. Besides that, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll add pictures if Google will let me

Experiencia fantástica: I got my eyebrow pierced today, and the whole process from filling out forms to getting it pierced and walking out the door, was a 10/10 experience. I am a minor (17), and you’d think the process would be lengthy with parental involvement and all, but it was actually the opposite—at least here. The staff was very kind and answered any questions or concerns I had, especially since it was my first piercing. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Grace was wonderful. She was friendly and knew what she was doing. I came in for a vertical labret. I appreciate that she took her time with placement to be certain it was even. The experience itself hurt but really only for a moment and I am so happy with my new piercing! Also all of my facial jewelry is gold so I was worried I would have to pay extra for something expensive but great news was that she was able to take the titanium jewelry and "zap" it to make it gold in color. Did not know that was even a thing. So I got a gold colored piece of jewelry but actually titanium material so it's great! Thanks Icon. Another great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Went here last October for a jewelry change after losing a ball end on my starter daith jewelry while visiting TN. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The employee who changed out the horseshoe informed me of a moisture problem that I wouldn't have realized otherwise as well as ways to help! I walked out with two upgraded pieces and a smile on my face. My daith healed beautifully because of this as well. Definitely stopping here if I come by Nashville again!

Experiencia fantástica: They're open on Sundays! Which is great because we were all able to get a flash tattoo just before we left home. The aim is to do it at the end of the trip where we don't need to go in the pool to protect the tattoo. She charged us 100$ US for a very small flash tattoo which is a bit expensive compared to back home in Canada. She was quick and prepared when we got there though which I appreciated it.

Experiencia positiva: Melody is great! Someone else said something about different piercers giving different advice. I agree. I've heard different things from 3 people here concerning one piercing. Idk, is what it is I guess ‍♀️ but I will only see melody from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter and I have had several piercings between both the Nashville and Murfreesboro locations. Every single time, we’ve both had the same high caliber, personal and fun experiences at both locations individually. I personally have been pierced with Melody in Nashville and with Sacoon and Monique in M’boro. My daughter has been with Melody, Grace and guest piercer Jeff. EVERY person was kind, fun, and super helpful. Never once in either location did I or my daughter feel like we were uncomfortable or unwelcome. And it’s been over the course of a long time since I personally have been with them…. And it’s always been great They’re the one of (if not THE) best APP piercing studios and it shows. They may not be the “cheapest” but I’d rather pay for high quality, clean and safe jewelry that is being put in a technical open wound in my body long term than to pay the least I can for questionable metals. ‍♀️ just my opinion. I’ve had pieces range all across the board cost wise and never once did my lower priced pieces end up with me feeling judged for not spending more. Will definitely stick with them and send others in the future. Oh, and they’re super awesome about checkups and not making you feel stupid for being concerned!

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic piercing shop. The entire staff is extremely well versed in best practices and treats you with the utmost respect. Grace is a wonderful piercer with both excellent skills and knowledge as well as a kind, calming demeanor. I would trust her with any procedure.

Experiencia fantástica: A friend of my husband originally told us about Icon at the Murfreesboro location and then we learned they had one in Nashville. I went yesterday to get two piercings, VCH and septum. Zoie was my piercer of choice and I could not be any happier with my choice and her work!! She is incredibly knowledgeable and knows exactly what she’s doing. I felt super comfortable with her. And she even ended up saving me money by re-opening a previous septum hole that I had YEARS ago. She’s amazing and I will not go to anyone else in the future!!

Experiencia fantástica: Where do I begin! This has been a wonderful journey and it’s still going. Over 20 plus tattoos done by the artist and the piercings I have lost count. They are always professional and give the best advice. It’s like seeing friends and family every time I go there. Would recommend them To anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in yesterday for my first tattoo and had Sean do the work on it. He and I discussed the tattoo for a couple of weeks over email until availability worked for both of us, and he killed it. It’s three pieces all in one, but the gummy bear in the middle I was the most indecisive on what I wanted. When I got into the shop, we quickly got things settled to be exactly how I wanted it. I didn’t feel rushed at all in making my decision, or uncomfortable requesting a change. The shop is very clean, comfortable and everyone that works there is incredibly kind and professional. Even with the hours worth of work we did, we had a fun conversation and it felt like picking up with an old friend. This is a symbolic representation of my family and I can tell that Sean cared to put in the work to make it perfect for me. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience there and will definitely be back to see Sean in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in for a walk-in nose piercing about 3 weeks ago. Wait time was pretty short, the staff were super friendly. She walked me through every step of the process, I felt very comfortable. 3 weeks in and is healing beautifully. Highly recommend this place!

Experiencia negativa: I did not have a good experience. While I was scheduled for a navel piercing at your establishment, the piercer determined it wasn't possible due to a reason that made no sense really. It was very disappointing due to the fact I have seen nothing but good reviews. I subsequently visited Queen of Hearts where I received the piercing without complications, and it's healing beautifully!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in to get my jewelry changed for a new nostril piercing. I was able to walk in and out in under 10 minutes. The staff was approachable, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a large selection of high-quality jewelry. I'll be returning for all my piercing needs!

Offered great suggestion for placement of conch piercing. Provided thorough aftercare instructions and even had a recommendation for followup care in my hometown since I got this piercing on a trip. Great jewelry selection. I made an appointment and would highly recommend doing so, especially if going on a Saturday.

Experiencia fantástica: I made an appt with Melody ahead of time to get my nostril re-pierced after it had closed up months ago. The shop was super clean and the staff was very friendly from check in to check out. Melody talked me through her entire process, from set up to clean up, and took great care of me. She was friendly, the process was quick, and she made sure to review all after care instructions. Will definitely be back for piercings in the future. Only bummer is parking...but that's anything in Nashville :)

Experiencia positiva: Icon was so nice and VERY clean. You can tell they put a lot of effort into appearances and it shows! Unfortunately, my friends and I had a negative experience with the staff. When picking what jewelry I would have for my nose piercing, the attendant was nice and explained a lot of the pieces. The majority of the jewelry I was shown was $300+ a piece. Since it was my first nose piercing, I explained I wanted something small and less expensive out of fear of losing it. The attendant then became very irritated and said “If you can’t afford it, the cheapest jewelry is at the end of the counter.” The attendant then left me and began helping another customer. It was embarrassing, but I chose a reasonably priced piece that I felt was comfortable and cute! The piercing process was also pretty upsetting. When I laid on the table, the piercer stated they would explain the entire process to me which was very reassuring. Then they stated for me to stay as still as possible and without warning…shoved the betadine q-tip inside my nose. I winced and coughed, which was a surprise to both of us! My eyes were watering and I began to sit up. The piercer smacked their hands against the table and said “So here is what we are NOT going to do. If you move like that again I am going to refuse to service you and you can get out of my shop.” My friends and I were shocked at their attitude. I told them “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to flinch but you promised you would explain everything to me before you did it. You didn’t tell me you were putting anything on or in me yet.” The piercer crossed their arms and said “Well, you ARE getting your nose pierced so what did you expect me to clean?” My friends and I were really uncomfortable and re-iterated that I was nervous about the piercing and would need a play-by-play. My piercing turned out great! I love it. They provide detailed instructions for cleaning and maintenance. The staffs attitude and hospitality were very unbecoming but the service provided was fine. My friends and I are nurses and we understand the importance of the “patient” experience and explaining the process. Just because they pierce people all day everyday doesn’t mean the individual’s experience isn’t new or frightening.

Experiencia fantástica: My go-to when I want a jewelry change or a new piercing. Clean, nice, and professional. Just make sure to book an appointment ahead of time if you are in a rush, but otherwise I've normally experienced low wait times on weekdays.

She is very KNOWLEDGEABLE & always answers my questions with warmth& patience to make sure i understand &she will be honest with you about what piercings will and will not work with different people's anatomy. She's basically a doctor (the piercing doctor.) Melody recommended me what size and styles of jewlry will and will not work with my 13+ different piercings ive gotten. The jewlry at the shop is hella overpriced and the receptionist? is the only reason i didnt give 5 stars. Shop is very clean & everything sanitized. It's recommended to make an appt. Consultations with (piercer) Melody and jewlry changes are free, as well as check ups to make sure piercings are healing properly. Avdice is free, very knowledgeable & helpful staff. 10/10 Icon is the best of the best. Hence why everything is highly priced.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my septum pierced at icon and it was a great experience! It was super clean inside and not busy at all. I went at 3pm on a Sunday. They had a great selection of jewelry for all different price ranges and piercings. Such beautiful jewelry options, you just have to see it! I got pierced by Melody and she was so kind! She made the whole experience comfortable and walked me through every step. I highly recommend icon to anyone looking into getting a piercing!

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter came for her second holes in her ears. It was for her 13th birthday! My older daughter had been here previously, so I knew it would be a good experience. My 13 year old was nervous, because she had a bad experience with her first holes years ago. Everything went great! No tears at all.
