The piercing itself didn't hurt nearly as bad and the whole process was smooth and virtually painless (piercing hurt, but nothing you can do about that) the heal time has also be so much easier when following this studios instructions. I'll definitely be going back again

I wanted to start getting some more piercings, so I booked an appointment with Synthia for a second lobe piercing on each ear. She was friendly, thorough, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Everything was very clean and she explained each step she was taking. She had me take a deep breath in, told me when the most painful part had passed (it really barely pinched at all), and kept making sure I was okay throughout the process. I could definitely tell she had been doing this for a LONG time. She gave me clear instructions on aftercare and the price was much less than I anticipated ($20 for each ear). I'll be seeing her for my future piercings and I'm recommending her to all my friends.

He gave me good education for any future removal of my nasal piercing and placed a new piece of jewelry for me. I am very grateful for him kindness and help. I will be back for sure.

Waiting area is nice and well kept. Terry was ver informative and helpful. He answered any questions my friend or myself had. Experiencia negativa: I came from Daytona to this shop because of the good reviews and because of a friends recommendation. I went to get my tongue pierced and many things went wrong. The piercer did not check my tongue underneath, did not mark where he would pierce, and to finish off the piercing was extremely crooked and off center. I called the shop a few hours later and asked if it was suppose to be crooked and i was told it was normal and it was to help my teeth?? Im back in Daytona and i went for a second opinion. The swelling had not gone down at all and the pain was getting worse. I was told that it was improperly pierced and i had to have it taken out.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly would not go here again or recommend to anyone. I got two cartilage piercings and I thought it was strange that she gave me hoops instead of studs. No other artist I've been to has ever allowed that, and I even asked if she would be giving me hoops instead of studs and she said it was fine because I had to turn them to clean them, which is another thing that artists typically do not recommend. Its been 5 months since I've gotten them done and despite cleaning every day the way she instructed me to, my cartilage rings still hurt and constantly get inflamed. I've never had an issue with my piercings healing and this is the only place that did everything the opposite of what is typical, and my piercings will not heal. Worst experience I've had so far

It was clean the way you would want a doctors office to be, sterile and professional, yet also the environment was appealing. Experiencia negativa: Went in for tattoo removal and was quoted a price over the phone I get there and the price is $20 dollars more.The guy tells me it will take about two sessions to remove my small tattoo the size of a quarter then when I’m filling out my paperwork it turns into five or even maybe even six sessions.I got too get the tattoo removed and the guy turns on the laser and starts to run it across my tattoo for like 8 seconds at most and says you’re all done lol and i didn’t feel a thing,the machine wasn’t even on and the guy tried to scam me out of my money.I call and talk to the owner and he says he will get back with me and never does.This place is a joke and they are thief’s don’t use them.I have 500k followers on Instagram and I’ll be making a post this weekend for everyone to make a one star review on this place and literally no one will come here anymore.

He had every excuse on why they only set appointments through Facebook page and how I need to look on the page first to pick out an artist ?? which is kind of understandable but then I said well give me a sec I can look right now and he stopped me and said WELL YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IT THIS VERY SECOND . Keep i mind I haven’t even shown the work I want d to have done yet . Then I ask well can you look at what I wanted maybe it’s something you can do . He glanced at it not really paying attention to the picture and start making all kinds of talk what needs to be done . Really felt as though he was just trying talk me out the shop . Then I ask ,well ok what would be the price for the work to be done and he gave me quoted of 1000 for a forearm tattoo. I’ve been to several shops in riverside and 5points and all the quotes was 400 or less .. the only reason I have sat with other artists is because there to book ..

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Mystic Koi for over a year. I've got a half sleeve that is almost complete. Chris is my artist and he dies amazing work. Super clean lines. He is very creative. I gave him a few random ideas I had in mind and he ran with it. I never envisioned something so beautiful. All the artists are super professional while being friendly. I highly recommend checking them out for your next tattoo or piercing. I also brought my daughter for her first tattoo, as I knew the whole experience would be great for a first time.

Experiencia negativa: If I could review in the negatives I would do that. Their prices are decent and everything seemed clean but that's about all I can give them. I got tragus and conch piercings, the man (who was not Synthia, to whom all the certificates and awards they have hanging in the shop are addressed) was oddly silent the whole time, did not show me where he was going to pierce and ended up putting the conch way farther out than I wanted. He was also abrasive and not gentle at all (eg he shoved cotton balls in my ear after two very painful piercings and I about passed out). I would not recommend him to pierce anyone I know and love.

Experiencia negativa: I went to mystic koi for my birthday to get my septum pierced by Terry, and had a horrible experience. He was not talkative or personable at all, not to mention he did not walk me through what he was doing, while he was doing it. It made me very anxiety ridden and more anxious than I should’ve been. He also attempted to pierce through thick cartilage two times before getting it right. He’s hands were shaky and I was just happy to get through it.

Experiencia fantástica: I come here for all my piercings, and I have more than i can count. I can guarantee that all of the equipment and jewelry used are straight from the package and sterilized. I am not disclosing the name of the piercer for safety reasons, among others, but they are always incredibly kind and talk their way through the steps. The piercings are precise and quickly done with minimal pain inflicted. I definitely recommend these artists and would give them 100 Stars if I could. And as always, remember to tip your piercer and tattoo artists.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment to get my nose pierced and when I arrived, the piercer never introduced himself to me (older gentleman with no people skills), never spoke to me except to fill out paper work, ask what stud I wanted and then to provide aftercare procedures. I also asked about some pricing for tattoos and, instead of getting an artist to help with my questions, he just told me he didn’t do tattoos. The shop was clean but the customer service from this person left a lot to be desired and, unfortunately, left a bad impression on the shop as a whole.

She was so personable, explained every single step down to her adding the cleaning solution on them at the very end. Experiencia negativa: I got my helix pierced here a little over a year ago and while I felt very comfortable with the cleanliness and overall procedure I learned later on that my piercing was completely crooked. It was so bad that I couldn’t wear a stud in that hole because all that could be seen was the side of the jewelry, could’ve just been a bad day for the piercer but I will be going elsewhere to get it re-pierced now that it’s finally closed up.

Chris did a killer tattoo and was super professional about it, definitely good work on a traditional piece. He was very careful and I’m super happy with how it came out. Terry pierced my nose right after and was extremely patient with me being twitchy. It was a completely clean and sterile process and I could tell he’s an expert. Both employees gave me great aftercare instructions and went above and beyond for me today. Both employees were really chill and made me feel comfortable. I’m definitely glad this shop is here in Murray Hill!

Experiencia fantástica: New to Jacksonville, called to schedule an appointment to get a tattoo, got the appointment sooner than expected, Chris answered the phone was very helpful and professional, exchanged numbers for additional information and to let him know what I wanted, always replied promptly to my text messages, when I arrived for my appointment he had some drawings ready for me to choose I got two tattoos instead of one done on the same day. The parlor is COVID ready, super clean, Chris changed his gloves more than a few times, everyone wore a mask customers or no customers. Had a great experience, no pain super neat will recommend Chris and Mystic Koi.
