He was honest, patient, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. He checked in constantly to make sure I wasn’t in pain and explained everything step by step. The shop is extremely clean, gloves were changed frequently anytime anything was touched beyond my skin, the place smelled great, and everyone was masked to help prevent inhaling airborne pathogens. The vibes were immaculate, the professionalism was top-tier, he even he offered thoughtful recommendations when I asked about tattoo cover-up ideas and accommodated my nickel allergy. After several months of seeing the work that he and his fellow artists do at Double Deuce Tattoo my wife and I decided to do the “Get What You Get” for outlet first tattoos. I had been working with Scotty for a few months to figure out what I wanted and we were having a hard time nailing it down via email and phone. I ended up coming into my appointment without a prepared design but he worked with me for at least 45 mins while we got the details right. He was very patient with how picky I was being and listened to everything I said. He was also honest about how confident he felt doing the actual tattoo. I wanted a fine line piece and he recommended Eddie, who had more experience in the style. Eddie was awesome, always checking on me during the sitting, making sure I was comfortable, giving me breaks, and creating a safe space where I could advocate for my needs. I love how my tattoo turned out and can’t wait to see it fully healed in a few weeks. The studio itself was clean and calm, not intimidating like some other tattoo shops that I’ve been in. I fully recommend Double Deuce and would return if I wanted another tattoo.

We emailed a photo taken of a flower we wanted and Eddie was able to make the perfect design and customize the flowers to two different color schemes for each of us! Eddie is such a sweet warm friendly welcoming person! Shop is easy to get to and park at, clean, they supply masks that they require for you to wear. Price was a little higher than expected.

He returned my email quickly and answered my questions and set up an appt. Scotty put me at ease with his friendly manner. The nose piercing had very little pain and Scotty guided me the whole way. He let me know if I needed any assistance during healing, he would help me. When 6 hours later I pulled the stud most of the way out - oops, ouch-, I immediately remembered he could get it back in for me. What a comfort, even though I didn’t need help this time. As always Scotty was very friendly and the shop was clean. Honestly you wouldn't know anyone had been in the shop before I got there. If your looking for friendly service, a clean place and dad jokes (from Scotty) this is the place to go. He did an awesome job on all my tattoo's and can't wait to go back.

I recently went in for a Phoenix hand tattoo and I was a little nervous being turned away by other artists in fear the tattoo was too challenging, I asked Kip and he didn’t shy away at all and it came out exactly what I was picturing in my mind. No stencil change or anything he took what I said and envisioned exactly what I was picturing in my head. These guys are great here at Double Deuce Tattoo.
