Experiencia fantástica: If you are looking for a good tattoo shop and your new to the area or its your first tattoo read my review. I got a new tattoo there on Saturday by Rhino. This was my first tattoo there and I was pretty nervous since I had not had much luck finding a shop that would return my call or email. I called Alley Kat and they answered on the 2nd ring, I requested to setup a consult with Jazz, They told me that she was free and to come in and talk to her in person so they could give me an accurate quote and that she is free for a consultation (this is pretty standard I just didn't want to drive there if she wasn't there). When I got there I met with Jazz, we went over the tattoo and the sleeve that I wanted to do, Also linking up my other tattoos. She told that she would love to do it but Rhino would be better suited for it based on my needs. I met and showed it to Rhino, we discussed my over all goal for my sleeve and want I wanted to get done on the piece, I gave my deposit and setup my appointment for the next day. WOW!!!The level of detail he was able to get into it and the color was just mind blowing. He has a pretty lite hand so the near 4hrs I was in the chair it really wasn't that bad, I actually started to nod off once or twice. He is a nice guy and really puts his heart into his work and it shows. They will be my go to shop and Rhino will be my artist for the rest of my sleeve and most likely more. Pricing was fair for the level of detail/work that he put into my ink. That DOES NOT MEAN CHEAP!!!This was not a $300 tattoo! Shop was clean and everyone wore a facemask, Also they made everyone who came wear a mask even if it was just to ask a question. Which I greatly appreciated considering the type of environment we are in (infected tattoos suck). (Both tattoos were NOT DONE BY THE SAME ARTIST,) RIGHT PIC: DONE BY A REPUTABLE ARTIST IN DENVER. Experiencia negativa: Antoinette is by far the most unprofessional business owner out there. Not only is the work that comes out of her shop botched or infected but she treats staff and clients like trash. If I could give zero stars I would! Don’t go here! Edited to add: Hi Antoinette my names Ashley I’ll happily include a photo of my ID with me holding it. Clearly more than one person has recognized your poor business practices. ‍♀️‍♀️

Experiencia fantástica: Raising Phoenix Tattoo shop is under new management. I got my tattoo done by Kenton didn't like it and the owner offered me to get it finished and fixed by Johnny!! Johnny is awesome and tattoo is getting fix and he's very nice! I am happy with my second tattoo done by Johnny the same day. He's fast and efficient! He got it done in less than 45 mins!! He has like 24 years experience! I will definitely be back and keep Johnny as my tattoo artist from now on, please check him out, you won't regret it!!

Experiencia fantástica: Sixx is wonderful to work with. Super responsive, accommodating, and prepared. I called on a Thursday and asked to be scheduled on Saturday with a friend, he made it happen. He had our designs ready to go as soon as we checked in. Very precise with placement and linework, he takes his job very seriously. Ashley checked us in and she was very pleasant. I didn't get anything done by her as I was there for a tattoo from Sixx, but she did do a piercing on another client across the room and it appeared she was quick, careful, and the client loved the results.

Experiencia fantástica: Sixx is an awesome tattoo artist, and I love the selection of The flash Sale. You can get tattooed here for as little as $20, No one in the West valley that I know of beats those prices! My daughter and I love art tattoos! They even have "Get what you select" for $80 in a big gumball machine! I have been back twice already and plan to get more body art (a second tattoo for my daughter and a cover up for me)! Great place, and worth the trip!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best place I’ve been to to get face and body piercings. I got my septum and tongue piercings and this place is good vibes only. I went with my niece and sister and they got a belly button and septum piercings and we were laughing with the piercer and crack joke throughout all of it. He made it as painless as possible. I would continue to come to this place for piercings and even for the tattoo that I do want to get done in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I got pierced here 2 weeks ago by Sixx. I did my snakebites, and he was great. My piercings have been healing fine and everything was clean. I came back today to change my jewelry, and I was helped by Sixx again, but I also met Jamie and Keith. They’re both super nice and silly, and made my changeout fun. Kevin was cool too, he was working hard sketching up front. Overall I recommend Rising Phoenix for piercings for sure, Sixx, Kevin, Keith, and Jamie were awesome.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom passed 3 years ago and her birthday was recently. She left a note the day before she died that said "I love you". For her birthday, I wanted it tattooed on me. Andre was in shop when I walked in and absolutely nailed her handwriting. He shrunk it down to fit my wrist and really made it what I needed. Thank you SO MUCH for doing this for me! It means more than anything to have a piece of her with me everywhere I go

He has done my last 3 back tattoos and i have dozzed off few times with how comfy i was feeling. Very light hand. Not to mention place is very clean! Experiencia negativa: Do not go here for piercings. I went in to get a Medusa and there were some red flags thinking back but I was excited and didn’t pay attention to them. My piercing ended up being crooked and I asked him to take it out. He asked me if I wanted to try it again… like.. right then.. and I said not today! He told me I could come back in 2-3 DAYS! He wouldn’t give me a refund, just a credit.. which is whatever. I won’t be going back. Before the piercing he asked me to swish with mouthwash.. I swished for maybe 5 second.. spit it back in the cup.. HE GAVE ME THE SAME MOUTHWASH TO SWISH WITH AFTER THE PIERCING WAS DONE!!! He didn’t use clamps to put the ball on my piercing and dropped the first ball which I later found in my shirt. He dropped the second ball as well. Then when I asked him to take it out he was very rough and again didn’t use clamps. 100% would not recommend this shop for piercings!!!

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend getting a piercing here they are very unsanitary and I was not happy with the placement of my nose piercing it is way to low and not even with my other piercing which I asked for them to be even. Not to mention the guy that pierced me didn’t even clean my nose area before putting the needle in! The guys hands smelled like straight up cigarettes too probably didn’t wash them.

Very talented, professional, a light hand, and quick as lightening. The shop was clean and sanitary - didn't even see a spec of dust. Sixx did an amazing job bringing our matching friendship cacti tattoos come to life. Thank you Sixx!

Experiencia fantástica: Sooooo on my way to work and thought: "hey you have a couple minutes, hey! That's a tattoo shop.... you know what you deserve a tattoo." I very awkwardly navigated my vehicle and eventually likely parked somewhere unnecessarily far away yet wayyyy too close to another vehicle.... then I waddled in and lemme tell (and show you i guess) they're pros. I mean the place was clean, organized, well lit, just a professional art shop. Being on the more spontaneous side of permanent accessorizing I couldn't have been more impressed. Again the shop and how it's cared for is one thing but artists really sell the establishment. Just great intuitive adaptive conversation. The tattoo was, smallish but to beginning to end in around 1hr c'mon... they're great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you at least go check em out if you're thinking of getting some art. Cheers

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing place!! This was my second time here. I got a tattoo and tongue piercing last year and when my friend decided to do piercings I made sure we came here. The staff is so friendly and fast. Between my nose and her nipples we were done within 15 minutes. They were even nice enough to let my group stay in the store while my friend calmed down from her piercings. I will never go anywhere else for a tattoo or piercing. Thank you guys for the great experience again!

The owner was soooo amazing I would definitely recommend these beautiful woman what I loved the most is they were woman and made me so Comfortable. Another beautiful tattoo from VoDo wow I’m so impressed with the work she did for me Rhino Antoinnette and now my all time favorite vodo I love my butterflies for my 30th birthday I love how light her hand was I could sit with her all day her personality is amazing I love talking to her she put so much into it and I can’t wait to get another one I will never go anywhere else!!!!

Jazz aka Voodoo did an amazing job free sketching the start to my half sleeve pictured below. The atmosphere is welcoming, everyone working there has a great personality + wonderful conversation. -Highly recommend calling ahead if you don't have an appointment booked out. They are very communicative on walk-in availability -Voodoo is amazing ❤️ - I'd encourage anyone looking for new ink to go here!

Experiencia negativa: Emailed, and also called ahead of time for a wedding ring tattoo for my husband and I. We were quoted $80 shop minimum. When we got there it changed to $100 for hands…. For a black band…. Also, I’m assuming we spoke with the owner. He was so rude. And as soon as we decided we were not going to pay that ridiculous price he got ruder and stopped talking to us. Avoid this hole in the wall. It’s filled with scabs.

Experiencia fantástica: i have gotten 2 tattoos now from mr. darvy (popz) and both have been very Excellent he's a great guy and really helps me get over my pre-tat anxiety! darvy took the time to prepare everything wonderfully and get the placement/sizing perfect, so i'm very pleased with both of the tattoos and the overall cleanliness/environment of the whole shop! everyone there is super chill and knowledgeable, i will be back again soon for sure!

Experiencia fantástica: I had my nipples pierced here. The shop was clean, and well decorated. Everyone was very friendly and personable. It was a relaxed environment. As for my piercings, she did a wonderful job. They look great. I’m very happy with the placement. She got it just right. She also got it done quickly. Both piercings were done within, I would say less than 2 minutes. She had a calm vibe which helped keep my nerves down. I highly recommend this shop, and will be going here for all of my future piercing and/or tattoo needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing!! They were all super kind and funny! Voodoo tattooed me and I have a grim reaper with a bong and lighter and it’s incredible! Very clean lines. She also touched up one of my other tattoos and they all took care of me when I fainted and even bought me snacks and gave me water!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an all-around great experience at Rising Phoenix. Everyone there was fun and easy to talk to—and they play some awesome shows on the TV throughout the day. Booking an appointment with them is easy, they’re very clean and organized, and the pricing is fair for the quality of the experience and tattoos. The artist that I got to work with, Darvy(Pops), was very accommodating and was even willing to work outside of the normal hours (thank you again for offering to do that). I was included in nearly every decision in the process and felt really at ease the entire time. Darvy's work is truly incredible, I highly recommend going to him if you’re wanting a high quality piece.

Experiencia fantástica: I showed up as a walk in on a Friday while in Phoenix for the night. Darvy did a great job for a great price. They were extremely professional and clean. I enjoyed my time on the chair, Darvy was very easy to talk to and was very careful about lining and shading. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely be returning. Looking forward to more chair time. I definitely recommend this place. And you can get a great sandwich from cheeba hut after your session, or a medi card depending on what time you go. Experiencia negativa: Very uncleanly. She dropped the ball for my septum piercing onto my lip(which was coated in blood) and then continued to use it. I took it out immediately and even called her back to see if she was sure she pierced it right since the placing was incredibly off. She was very sure she had and told me it was just swelling. When I went to a different piercer and had them check it out they confirmed she had pierced directly through the cartilage and was surprised it hadn’t hurt more. According to the other piercer I saw this shop has a reputation for having sanitation issues.

Experiencia fantástica: Just recently visited Alley Kat Tattoo. The atmosphere was clean and very professional. Juan artwork was detailed, and done with great quality! Voodoo work was fantastically done. My friends and I were pleasantly pleased with their customer service and quality of work. Looking forward to my next tattoo.

Experiencia negativa: Super sweet and kind staff but I had brought my SO in to get his septum done due to my usual shop being closed. Instead in piercing through the sweet spot the piercer had gone through the cartilage, there was blood everywhere, and was told it was super painful. We took it out to let it heal, went to the shop I normally go to and it was quick and painless. No blood either. Won't be coming back

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place!! They bring in such a nice and comforting atmosphere right when you enter. Not only that but that store is absolutely beautiful and smells divine. My tattoo was done by Voodoo and oh my gosh she’s so kind, patient, and understanding. Not only that, but her work is clearly AMAZING! I cant wait to come back for future tattoos!! I also had my septum and eyebrow pierced about a year ago from the owner and she made the whole process quick and painless while politely walking me through everything. I love this place :)

Experiencia fantástica: Rhino is AMAZING! He pieced together a memorial tattoo for my dad from an old letter and a separate card with his signature on it and it is flawless! I was in happy tears when I saw the finished product! His was able to capture all the nuances in both my mom and dad’s handwriting and it’s just like if they had inked me themselves!

Experiencia fantástica: Super welcoming and nice! My fiancee Cori and I walked in and got the two of us taken care of right away! VooDoo, Hope and Siren were all amazing from the get go! Siren did a bellybutton piercing on my fiancee and took care of her when she was getting a little nervous before hand but talked her through it and got it done! VooDoo did a beautiful Sun tattoo on Cori's left hand and it is incredible! VooDoo did a Viking Compass tattoo on my left arm as well and it is just perfect! Experiencia fantástica: I received my first Tattoo ever from Alleykattattoo. I was really impressed with how responsive and professional the staff was. I approached another artist before going to Alleykattattoo and he conducted his consultation through an online third party. I had lots of questions as it was my first experience. He had no interest in talking to me directly and basically he was not even interested in working with me. My experience with the staff, Antoinette and Voodoo, were completely different. Antoinette immediately responded to me and invited me to come into her shop for a consultation. When I did go in to do a consult with Voodoo, she was warm, friendly and took the time to answer my questions. She also is an incredible artist! She sketched out an idea for a tattoo for me on the spot and really took the time understood my vision. When I went in for the tattoo, She really took her time to make sure her lines were straight, etc. Her work station was clean. All in all, I had a great experience. I had a great experience.

I was so excited when I left I am already thinking about what I want next so I can come in!

We did a random walk in this afternoon shortly after they opened for the day and had 3 different tattoo that wanted to be done, and the whole shop worked together to get us right in then and there. Given everything w/Covid nowadays, going about things is completely different. They were very clean, professional, took their time and were all so friendly. Voodoo and Rhino respectively did amazing pieces, all 3 girls left the shop incredibly pleased

Perfect placing and so chill it may depend on child but she took it very well and she was set on having them pierced only place I found that would do them at that age and went so well. Very welcoming and pleasant.

The whole 6hr session was talking with the artist tattooing me and the owner about more topics then I can even remember. Laughing and joking the whole time. Personality galore here, with artists who can turn YOUR crazy idea into a beautiful piece of art. Recommending everyone I know and will most definitely be back for many, many pieces

Jazz did my husband's arm band and she was just amazing not only did she not have a heavy hand compared to other tattoo artist but she has an amazing personality. She focuses while cracking a joke here or there and just all around amazing. Anyone you walk in and talk to has a great personality while being professional. Me and my husband love this shop.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter had to get her nose repierced recently after having to take it out due to an infection she got. Piercing is in a much better spot now and looks great! She was so scared but the owner was so attentive and everybody was super nice to work with!
