Experiencia fantástica: I live in Denver but my best friend Miranda lives in Raleigh and every time I visit we always make sure to take a trip to see Brad to get a piercing. Brad is one of the best piercers i’ve ever dealt with, he’s super friendly and easy going and very knowledgeable with many years of experience. I got my second conch done this most recent visit and it was virtually painless thanks to him! I’ve also gotten my rook and the cute high lobe piercing that’s above my gauge from him. Super dope guy and great piercer. Thank you so much Brad!

Experiencia fantástica: had an easy simple walk-in piercing experience, i got my navel done and my sister got her first piercing which was her lobes. i didn’t get his name but the piercer that did us was amazing, i have never been professionally pierced before and he talked us all the way through! also not to mention the studios decor was just really awesome and gives you a lot to look at around instead of being nervous about the piercing haha. thank you guys so much!!

Experiencia negativa: july 3rd 2025, i wanted a tattoo same day, checked a couple of places out they were too busy for walk-ins. found this place checked the reviews it seemed like a nice place, came in for a walk in they said i might have to wait an hour or two i said okay and sat down to wait. 5 minutes later a guy comes out saying he can do it, i show him what i want (for reference i just wanted the outline of a VERY simple character 1x1) he says he can’t do it that small, i said okay because i really just wanted that tattoo same day. in retrospect he probably said no out of laziness or just to charge more but im stupid and still went ahead with it. i asked if i needed to sign anything multiple times he said no every time and said not to worry about it, that should’ve been another red flag. don’t remember his name but he was really nice that’s the only good thing i have to say. wore gloves but the table wasn’t wrapped or the gun, i’m not a professional but im 90% those 2 things should be wrapped. it was very rushed. no forms required to sign. i don’t think they even id me and i have a baby baby face. didn’t look that bad fresh but the healing was weird compared to my other tattoos, i took great care of it and months later the end result is puffed up the lines are crooked and inconsistent.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my nose pierced by Lee two years ago.. he was awesome then. Somehow today I pushed my piercing (small stud) inside my nose and was unable to remove it. Walked in.. front desk was so very nice and directed me to Lee who had me in and out in a matter of minutes. Thank you Lee for being amazing. Your service and professionalism is so appreciated.

Experiencia positiva: I came in with some friends to get halloween flash tattoos. Unfortunately I don't remember our artist's name but she did all four of our ghost tattoos. Overall our experience wasn't terrible, however our artist had her very young baby with her throughout our entire sessions. During my session her child was crying and she had to pause multiple times to remove her gloves and attend to her kid. I also feel the artist rushed through my (thankfully) very simple flash due to her kiddo needing to go home to sleep. My tattoo ended up being super irritated and red for the first few days (much more than what I'm used to with previous tattoos) and I was initially concerned about infection. My friend's tattoo also had a good bit of ink fall out. We were also supposed to get goodie bags with little adoption certificates for each ghost, which we ended up having to remind the shop about and they didn't have enough bags for us. Overall I just felt the experience was kind of unprofessional and not as clean or sterile as previous tattoo experiences I've had. Everyone at the shop was nice but its made me hesitant to return for any flash events.

Experiencia fantástica: Piercer: Lee Piercing: Angel fangs/paired vertical upper lip piercings I'm new to the area and this place was recommended to me. I walked in on a Sunday and was told it would only be a 30 minute wait which I'm used to. I filled out the standard paperwork and after a few minutes Lee called me up to the desk and asked me questions and informed me of some things regarding the piercing I wanted. He showed a lot of knowledge and experience and make me feel super comfortable. After about 15 minutes he took me to the room. It has a super comfortable recliner and very calming vibes. He cleaned my lip and took his time getting everything lined up and made sure I was happy with it. The piercings went smooth, no blood and very little pain. He also took a few minutes to let me know if I had the anatomy for a bridge. Its been 4 days since then and I'm super happy with them and the whole process. I'll definitely be back for other piercings.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience here and with Brad was simply amazing! He made my daughter’s birthday night by making her comfortable and handling us with care. The prices were reasonable compared to Hillsborough Tattoo who wanted to charge us rent prices for the same exact piercings! I highly recommend this place for piercings!

Victor made sure I was comfortable with the size/placement of the tattoo (as well as the price) from the beginning. He was very professional and took his time with the lines and shading. Experiencia positiva: I came in to get a piercing with Bradde and I had a great experience as always! He was super professional and explained everything ( I was very nervous ). I always come back just to get pierced by him! HOWEVER I had a horrible experience within the shop. :( A male that was behind the counter with a thick accent was yelling at a female employee. He called her her stupid, and she looked so sad. It made me feel very awkward, and I wanted to help, but I did not want to make the situation worse. I hope this is not how he treats employees normally, however, with him feeling comfortable doing it in the shop while other customers were there, I feel like it happens often.

Experiencia fantástica: Got a Rook & Helix today, Lee (I believe his name was Lee, he was an older gentleman) was incredibly kind, professional and knowledgeable about his craft. Definitely will be coming back for more if I’m ever in the area.

Experiencia negativa: I came here for the $40 piercings day with Bradde and got my 2nd lobes done and my friend got her 3rds. We had a good experience when actually getting pierced however when we went to check out, we were told it was $80 each. I have never seen any shop charge lobes piercings as per lobe. This also wasn’t stated or clarified anywhere. And on the signs in shop it was saying that normally it is priced with lobes starting at $50. I think this would lead anyone to assume that it is for the set of lobes. Not lobe singular. I am extremely disappointed and feel ripped off. This is something that needs to be clarified before piercing and have better signage. Very bad experience.

Experiencia negativa: I came here 5/26 to get a double lip piercing (snake bites) and the service was wonderful. The piercer Lee was experienced, friendly, efficient, and it was overall a pleasant experience. He put in extended bars to accommodate for swelling and I was instructed to return in a month to switch to shorter bars that wouldn't affect my teeth/gums. After a week or two, my swelling went down, and I called the store to ask if I could go get them switched out. The young lady at the desk (didn't catch her name, not great customer service anyways) assured me that I could get them switched as a walk-in, so I drove 40 mins to go get my bars switched. When I got there, she had me speak to Lee, who said it was too early. She should've consulted with him before giving me an answer, the entire point of the phone call was to save my time. I returned on the date of my scheduled appointment (6/26-today) and the lady at the desk (much nicer than previous, still didn't get her name) had informed me he was at a drs appt and would return later. I have work and could not make it back out to the store for another few days due to my busy schedule. I decided to change them myself, but I was not able to purchase jewelry from here since my piercer wasn't there. Overall, even though the important aspects of this place were pleasing (knowledge, cleanliness, safety,) the organization and service from the front desk was very disappointing.

Experiencia fantástica: My sister and I both got flat ear piercings done by Lee and he was amazing! Very educated and professional! You can tell he is very passionate and particular about his work, which is so refreshing to see. It's clear he is knowledgeable and doesn't just care about the money, but overall cares about the quality of his work. 10/10 would recommend getting pierced here!! On top of that, the place in general is super clean and well-kept. We'll definitely be returning.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had great experiences here with piercings, but I unfortunately can’t recommend this shop for tattoos. I scheduled a same day appointment and worked with Vic on a small horseshoe tattoo. The tattoo was quick; under 30 minutes, but the result was disappointing. The lines are jagged, uneven, and splotchy, and it looks rushed. Definitely not clean line work. I paid over $100 for something I now have to get fixed at another shop. Completely disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: Brad is an amazing person. I went in to sign for my daughter to get her septum pierced. He was personable and hilarious. Amazing customer service. I highly recommend them. My niece got her first tattoo there 10 years ago and she still remembers the place.

Experiencia fantástica: I had thought about trying to pierce my own septum but decided against it. Knowing me, I'd mess it up somehow. So that brings me here: I received my septum piercing here by the kind Mr. Lee. He was very professional, clean, and gentle, and he did such fine work. 80 dollars total, but that's the price of quality and experience. I barely felt a thing! And I feel 5 percent more attractive, hah! Also, all the chill vibes come from this parlor. I loved the atmosphere, something almost oriental in its decor and interior design. I find it to be really unique. Seems to be influenced by the long-standing traditions of body modifications. So yeah, if you're in Raleigh, come here!

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could write a better review for Rock N Roll. I got a few piercings done here awhile ago and loved it. Recently I reached out early this week for an appointment for an extremely basic tattoo. Told me to email, didn’t hear back. Followed up, didn’t hear back, then called, then finally heard back. Sent me an appointment schedule for the day I requested and told me they would send me a price quote and schedule me a time, never got a price quote. Finally called the night before when my appointment was supposed to be and was told there were no more appointments left. No comment on any artists or other workers, I only spoke with a man at the front desk that clearly was not organized or just didn’t care to follow up with customers.

Experiencia negativa: I came into the shop as a walk-in for a small tattoo (abstract semicolon) plus some detail to a current tattoo. The artist was friendly, his space was clean and the detail on my current tattoo turned out great. However, the design for my semicolon was rushed and ended up barely resembling a semicolon. The price was also wild for some simple tattoos that took 30~ minutes. I didn’t look close enough at the design before the actual tattoo was done, so I take some of the blame. I assume fine line just isn’t his thing. I’d definitely be more generous with my review if the tattoo didn’t have such a deep meaning.

Experiencia fantástica: Everytime I come here I have a great experience! Victor was amazing in making me and my brother both comfortable for a matching tattoo session. The tattoos turned out great and we enjoyed some great conversations. I see myself coming back! :)

Experiencia fantástica: I'm not from the Raleigh area, I came to attend the Lil Wayne Concert. Wanted a few tattoos before I left so i went to Rock and Roll Tattoo on Capitol Blvd. From the front door, staff were very friendly and the environment was extremely clean. I personally refer Victor Knight as your Tattoo Artist. He's extremely knowledgeable and professional! His area was clean and inviting. He takes his time to ensure that you're satisfied. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Rock n Roll. I've had two piercing experiences there now, nostril (with Lee) and helix (with Bradde), and everything about them was ideal. Every single person working there was incredibly pleasant and dedicated. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming and comforting, while still being clean and professional. Even the restroom is spacious and well looked after. I was able to ask questions, and I left feeling great about my piercings and how to care for them. I absolutely intend to go back to RnR for my future piercings.

She offered great advice on placement and offered her own thoughts on color and style. Definitely go in and ask for Samantha. Tattoo turned out perfect!! She does great work!

Experiencia negativa: Got my angel fangs done two weeks ago— They were crooked and shallow in too many places. I wasn’t given any good advice for after care, and I was pierced with inconvenient jewelry with NO warning. Went to see another piercer because I was worried, and I was told they’d reject due to the bad placement, and was advised to take them out. I’m very disappointed, especially since the piercer who did these said he was experienced. He also walked away mid piercing on both me and my friend, as well as dropped the jewelry multiple times meaning he had to RE PIERCE their lip once. Very, VERY disappointed, and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience with Brad, the piercer. He was unprofessional throughout the process, and I’ve had several piercings reject under his care. The jewelry and piercing services were overpriced, with quality that did not justify the cost. For example, I was initially quoted $80 for a second hole piercing but was inexplicably charged $100. Most recently, I encountered serious issues with another piercing because the jewelry Brad used was too small. My ear became so swollen and painful that I couldn’t even remove it. This caused unnecessary discomfort and stress. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend his services.

The tattoo artist are friendly and I enjoyed talking with them and everything. The guy that did my tattoos did amazing !! He would be the only reason I would return but I wish the prices was better

Experiencia positiva: i have waited a few days to write this review as i did not want to leave an unfair review out of frustration. that being said myself my wife and son all came to this location 11/30/24. to start we live an hour away. we had an appointment set for 4 pm received a call asking if we could make it in at 2 pm. we said sure we would be there. 40 min into our drive we received another call to come at 4 pm . unfortunate but still frustrating. our appointment with sam did begin promptly at 4 pm. and we were there untill 10 pm. sam is absolutely fabulous would definitely recommend her for all your work. communication is top notch with the newbies i.e. my wife and son. i have a few already so when it was my turn we dove right in. she has no clock in her work space shows her dedication to her work... not her time spent on the work. i know time is important but some things you dont want to rush. now to the part that may keep us "myself, son from returning. i dont know who it was but there was an "artist" next door to sam that was blasting this "getto rap" music all night and kept turning it up. dont get me wrong i like and listen to rap music. i like all kinds of music. but when you find and choose to go to a shop that literally has "rocknroll" in the name you kind of expect to hear rock n roll and the absolute lack of respect for fellow employees and customers is unbelievable. if we do decide to return for more work it would have to be when that other person is not working. but that kind of scheduling seems like it might be more work than its worth. but thank you again to sam for the best experience she was able to provide. and you can thank your other employee for possibly driving away hundreds of more dollars in business.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the best experience with Bradde. Took my seven year old to get her ears pierced and Bradde helped her feel comfortable and at ease. He was friendly, thorough with explaining everything and his space was clean. I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in to either put my current nose ring back or get a ring. I had a medical procedure and had to remove it. Lee was super friendly and provided the most education on my nose piercing since I was fairly inexperienced with this type. I struggled putting it back in (user error and type of bend on it). He answered all my questions and I will definitely be back next time to change it out. Definitely recommended this shop!

Experiencia fantástica: Sam did a tattoo for me! I walked in and was able to get a sunflower tattoo on my side. It took about two hours. I absolutely love her. She is fun to talk to and made my experience one for the books. If I decide to get another tattoo, I will go to her for sure.

Experiencia negativa: If you're looking to have a piercing done, go elsewhere! I had 2 nose piercings done in June (I already have 2) and I told the piercer I've had issues with the studs falling out in the past. He said no problem and appeared to understand. One fell out within 2 weeks while I was asleep out of town and the other was way too tight. The tight one was painful for weeks (not due to infection) and I sucked it up until now (Oct 1). Currently waiting for a ring/hoop from Amazon. I spent $100+ (not including tip). I'm beyond disappointed and wish I had gone elsewhere. Never again will I go here.

Experiencia positiva: This is an okay piercing place.. The piercers are okay also- I have nothing outwardly bad to say about them. The things that I did not enjoy; they are extremely understaffed, wait times were long. The piercer put the wrong length of studs in my ear- they were too long and prevented the piercing from healing correctly. Same happened with my mom- the stud was WAY too long. We went back, explained the situation. They charged us $60 for just 4 measly new studs- extremely overpriced, as they presumably buy these in bulk. The original lobe piercings + jewelry ranged from 80-100$. When we got the new studs, we left (after waiting for a very long time just to buy the studs, not even to get pierced this time!) ... in the car I realized that he had given us the wrong TYPE of studs (pop-in studs but we needed screw-in studs). So we had to turn back around and wait AGAIN for replacements. We explained in detail what had happened and what we wanted (studs that fit appropriately) so he took us to the back and replaced them for us - then during this he realized in fact that I was not crazy and that he did sell us the wrong studs. Again, It felt rushed since he was the only piercer on a busy Saturday. We left, and shortly after I realized that my new studs were EXTREMELY tight and short- I had said multiple times that I simply wanted identical length studs as my first holes. My mom ended up with studs that are still way too LONG. The purpose of wanting these particular flat-back earrings is so it will be comfortable to sleep in- and after the multiple times we tried to explain the situation in detail, the new studs are still not comfortable or what we asked for. We avoided going back for a THIRD time, though, since we didn't want to wait and have to try and explain it to him all over again. So after all of that, we still are not very happy and my tight earrings are struggling to heal, just as they were with the long studs. I want to emphasize that the piercer was extremely FRIENDLY however, I am not quite sure why he didn't understand the simple request that we had of replacing the absurdly long original studs. I might be back one day as a last resort, but not any time soon.

Experiencia fantástica: Switched over to here after a decade of being a client at another local shop . Samantha did an absolutely incredible memorial piece for a very close friend of mine who passed away on my back (this is without question my most personal tattoo . And it's now my favorite one as well) the whole session was super relaxed and fun , she really is a passioante and dedicated artist. the atmosphere of the shop is super welcoming . Ur not just a client here . If that makes since. Anyway 10/5 stars. Cannot recommend enough .

She was very helpful in deciding placement, and font. I’ve been to a few shops where artists try and rush the process or aren’t friendly, but Sheanna and everyone else at RNR were great. 10/10 will come back.

He’s done all three of our girls and each time was a memorable experience! He does a fantastic job of creating a fun atmosphere while keeping their nerves calm. Experiencia fantástica: Lee did my septum piercing! He informed me I have a deviated septum and compensated for it to make it look straight from head on. Lee has been piercing since the 90s and his skill is obvious. He was so kind and made sure I felt cared for. Experiencia fantástica: After having a less than stellar experience with my nose piercing that I just literally just got on Friday in Atlanta, I found this local shop (Capital Rd). From the moment I walked in the young lady at front was very friendly. The gentleman I believe his name is Bradde (he had copper gauges and locs and we talked about The Simpson’s ☺️) whom changed my nose piercing had phenomenal energy, he was quick and kind. I look forward to coming back. The establishment was clean and the environment welcoming.

As usual, he was very professional and informative of the upkeep of maintaining the cleaning process for my daughter’s piercings. Experiencia fantástica: This place is awesome! I went to get my belly button pierced and the experience was great! They had a lot of belly button rings to choose from, all super cute and nothing cheap looking. The place was extremely clean and sanitary precautions were definitely taken. Lee did my piercing, he explained the process and did a great job making sure the piercing would be center. Overall a great experience, and the crew is very kind!

I was nervous, but the woman at the counter and Lee put me right at ease. He talked me through the whole process, and was very quick. Though the piercing itself hurt (it's quite the unique experience), a few hours later my nipples felt normal. Lee is wonderfully professional and good at what he does. He gave me his card and encouraged me to call or email him if I had additional questions during the healing process. I'll absolutely return when I want additional piercings and/or tattoos. I seldom leave reviews online, however I want people to know that if they're fretting about which tattoo parlor to get work done at, go to Rock and Roll Tattoo.

Experiencia negativa: Went with a group to get piercings and flash. The piercer was amazing and very transparent on every step of the process, making us feel completely comfortable. The tattoo artist, Kyle, on the other hand made us all feel very uncomfortable. The woman receiving the tattoo has had many done in the past, and knows the process of getting one. Kyle was unprofessional in his ways, failing to shave the tattoo spot, using his phone after putting on gloves, and when he finally finished, he taped a paper towel over the finished piece. During the entire time we interacted with him, he never used her name, instead calling her "dear" and "gorgeous". Not only this, but touched her in uncomfortable ways without asking or saying why. We were expecting a flash tattoo to be quick, but instead listened to many life stories before even completing the drawing. I would not recommend him to anyone, especially women.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter wanted to get a second piercing in her ears. The first attempt (from another place) was not anywhere close to symmetric and didn't look right (earrings were touching on one side, and had space between on the other; so the distance between the 2 holes was obviously different.). We went to Rock N Roll tattoo and Lee helped my daughter decide to let the hole close and redo it, and Brad did a fantastic job on the redo. I'm really impressed with their experience and skill. Very happy I took my daughter here. I would highly recommend either of these piercers and this shop.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot rave enough about Bella’s work! This is my all time favorite tattoo I have ever gotten. She is super understanding and is really creatively in tune with what I wanted as well as what she enjoys tattooing. We sort of went on a limb with the shading on the smoke and I think it made the tattoo 10x better. I’ve gotten 2 tats done by her so far and I plan on continuing for many more. Would recommend her to anyone, especially for fine line tattoos!

She directed me to an amazing piecer, Lee. He did a great job making sure I was comfortable, and walked me through everything he was about to do. Experiencia negativa: When I first arrived, I was told by a young lady at the desk that it would be a 30-45 min wait and that they would call me when it was my turn. I wondered how they would know I was next, but because there were only 3 or 4 people ahead of me, I didn’t find it too concerning. After about 25 mins of waiting, traffic picked up and I noticed people giving paperwork to a different young lady at the front desk. I went up and let her know that I didn’t receive a form when I first came in and that I’d been waiting. She took my ID and gave me the paperwork, then told me that they would call me when it was my turn. An hour later, I realized that everyone who came in after me was basically gone. I went back up to the desk and tried to explain again that I had basically been skipped and had been waiting an hour and a half. The young lady at the first desk was kind, but I could tell she wasn’t really listening to understand, but instead was trying to explain why I was still waiting. Long story short, I left and went to another shop. If order is determined by paperwork, ensuring that all customers are given the initial paperwork upon arrival would be helpful.

Experiencia negativa: Was told something that wasn't true. Went home with a horrible piercing and never got any money back. Was told that there was no paperwork that I ever went there for my piercing in the 1st place. So due to their lack of organization I lost money and need to find a place to fix my piercing now. Also the staff was extremely disrespectful when I called to ask what I could do. I was brushed off and never able to speak with the person that did my work. Horrible experience overall! Definitely do not recommend!
