Fantastic experience: When you first walk into this shop it just looks really cool. A little harsh and what a tattoo shop should look like but elegant. And then you meet Laura. She is such an amazing person. She's so interested and curious about what you want your ink to say and how you want to say it and will spend as much time as she needs to make sure that you both get it right. She's also funny. Warm. And felt like some family member I had not met yet. And then, Motis come swinging into the shop. Part excellent swagger, part almost a dance.He owns this place. He feels like a part of my family that I never met. He's smart and he's funny and I don't mean to be too woke but forget about that. He's very handsome and a lovely guy. It almost felt more like we were having a very communicative dinner party rather than hanging out in a fire tattoo shop. There are these fantastic chandeliers hanging from all over the place. It's dark, but once you're in there it is brightened by Motis, Laura and the other people who work there. My friend drove me over and while she and Motis we're engaging in delightful debate, myself and Laura went to the back of the shop so she could put my ink on me. I actually decided to move it from the last moment from one place to another. And she was so willing to help get it in the correct position. She did my tattoo we talked. I got the numbing cream so it didn't hurt. And she did an amazing job! Amazing! The words I had on my arm are small, very small letters, and she got them perfectly. It's so nice to talk to someone like Laura, you know? She's smart and observant + just a remarkable human being. So you're getting us more than ink on your arm, that's where I got mine, when you go into Artists by Motis Tattoos, you have an experience. A wonderful, warm welcoming experience. So thank you! Fantastic experience: I came to Motis for two new tattoos and to fix an existing tattoo that was a blow out and becoming more and more blurry. I saw Motis’ work on IG and how he fixed/sharpened blurred lettering with skin tone matching and wanted to come in to his shop to see my options. I showed him the blow out and he took the time to show me on an iPad how the tattoo would look with the skin tone outline. We also discussed doing a full cover up or getting laser tattoo removal. Throughout the whole process Motis was really patient and took the time to explain all of my options and how they would look thoroughly so that I fully understood the outcome. Ultimately, i decided to opt for laser tattoo removal where I will either get the tattoo either fully removed or very lightened so that I can come back for a cover up that best matches my other tattoos - fine line. Just wanted to share that I highly recommend this shop and Motis (and Laura too who helped me get set up!) I’ve been to several shops for my blow out tattoo and most artists just ask if I want a cover up or not, not taking the time to really discusss. Also, I’m extremely happy with my two new tattoos from Motis. If fine line is your vibe - this is the place to come. Reasonable pricing, clean shop, and they make you feel comfortable. Will definitely come back!

Not only was he super welcoming and chill to talk to but he was very thorough and patient thru every part of the process from drawing to the actual tattooing, didn’t have a heavy hand, and the tattoo itself came out amazing. Positive experience: I paid for a terrible tattoo (my dragon literallly looks like a horse) and because i'm not from the area, they can't fix the tattoo!!! They double charged me and now have “no idea” where the other transaction is to be able to refund it. He wasted an entire day trying to draw up fixes and they all looked terrible. Like just say you can’t fix it instead of wasting time, it could all be so simple.

We searched on Google for a few places and came across Motis' work which we really liked so decided to walk over to his studio and try our luck. When we arrived, there was a sign saying to call a number as the person working was on break. We called and Motis answered, he was so nice and said he would arrive in 15, so we waited for him and when he arrived he let us into the shop and made us feel like at home.
