Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Old Town Ink in Scottsdale. I just got a little tattoo, but Big Tuna’s line work is great. Clean, precise, and exactly what I wanted. He completely understood the assignment and somehow also matched my humor immediately, which made the whole experience even better. He’s funny as hell and keeps it relaxed without sacrificing professionalism. The shop is super clean, welcoming, and easygoing. If you’re in Old Town Scottsdale and want solid line work with a good vibe, book with Big Tuna.

Negative experience: Walked in to get my wife a new stud for her nose and was greeted in a like why are you here , you don’t belong here kind of way. Not very friendly for sure.

Fantastic experience: Big Tuna was amazing! I came with my friend for a walk-in, and he immediately walked me back to his chair. Extremely nice guy, studio has great grandma candies, and he even asked my friend if she wanted a tattoo or piercing and immediately got her set up with the piercer. Most importantly, my tattoo is perfect. He tweaked and adjusted everything I wanted, and did everything perfectly. Thank you Big Tuna!

Fantastic experience: My friend and I were down here visiting when we came across old town ink!! People had recommended it to us so we had to do a walk in of course. I wasn’t even planning on getting mine until my friend got hers and I saw how amazing it looked. Big tuna was the absolute best. He was funny, professional, and comforting through the process. Lines are clean and he let me pick out the colors to mix for the shade I wanted. If we lived close, this would be my new go to. He ATE THIS UP!!!!! Love it

Fantastic experience: Came in as a walk in and was able to get my tattoo the same day. Joseph did an amazing job of making sure I was happy with my tattoo placement before starting. All the guys were friendly and made me feel at ease during my session. The shop was also very clean! Great place, highly recommend going here.

Fantastic experience: First off, this shop is absolutely the bees knees! Laid back, small shop atmosphere which I feel are the best around. Shawn did AMAZING work on these flowers and a flag on my girl friend’s shoulder (she loves it ps!). Already in the works planning another trip so I can hopefully have some older pieces touched up. Negative experience: I don’t write very many reviews, but this got under my skin. My wife had been in communication with Shawn a couple weeks ago about tattoos for both me and my wife, which were supposed to be done today and tomorrow. When we showed up he had already booked two other clients today and had no recollection of our previous contact. Even pulled up his instagram to show us he couldn’t find our conversation (which he later found and messaged us saying sorry and that he could still fit in my wife tomorrow in his defense). But in what world do you keep a tattoo that will be for life with someone who can’t keep the appointment they set with you in the first place. We planned this in advance to make sure we had time to complete both of our tattoos, we flew in so we can’t just reschedule. This was the sole purpose of our trip. Thanks for ruining our az experience Shawn. Maybe take better care of your customers in the future and you can avoid loosing out on two returning clients.

Fantastic experience: This is my second tattoo done here at Old Town Ink. Cory is the artist and he is such a funny , hilarious easy going dude. Very professional very clean and did such a good work with such a short time. Definitely recommend .

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful time there while getting a beautiful tattoo from the fantastic artist Tommy Helm! A fun and funny atmosphere! The tattoo is top notch. Mr Helms is the only person I would be tattooed by, 100%!

Fantastic experience: Realizing now that I never did a review for Pam so very delayed, but very well deserved. Pam has got to be hands down the best artist I’ve ever gotten a tattoo from. Period. I’ll start off with that. I got this done in 2021 before I moved out of state, but the rest of my ink would 100% still be done by her if given the chance. Two sessions to finish up a quarter sleeve (first pic is after session one, second pic is right after session two not yet healed) and I posted the pic of the idea that I showed her. She took it and ran with it! She also just understood exactly what I was trying to tell her when it came to my idea around the lightbulb, but was able to make it flow so nicely. Aside from being a dope artist, she’s extremely professional and on time. My first session start time was later in the afternoon and ran a little longer, but she had no problem staying hella late to finish the job, which really meant a lot. I had a session done at both shops in (Scottsdale and Mesa), both shops are clean and top tier. The other artists are super welcoming as well! During one of my sessions Pam even had an apprentice and was showing them different things on my arm as she was going and then was checking their work as well on their client. All around a cool experience. If you’re looking to get a tattoo in AZ I highly recommend Pam Sanders and Old Town Ink of course.

Negative experience: The wait was astronomical only for the artist to put the stencil on correctly but tattooed me upside down and pushed WAY too hard making the lines uneven. Would not recommend, artist didn’t even introduce himself so idk who it was

Fantastic experience: Incredible experience, LOVE my tattoo, beyond appreciative to my artist Adrian Romero (@tattoosbyaadrian). This is my FIRST tattoo. My Grandmother is/was my best friend. She passed from COVID in Oct, 2022 and I miss her beyond words. Today would have been her 98th birthday. Adrian made this process seamless, comforting, and brought to life a part of my Grandmother--her precious writing. I will cherish this ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE!! I LOVE it and will be back for another!!

Negative experience: I went in almost a month ago and it is still healing which tells ya how deep this person went. I’ve got plenty of tattoos so I know it’s not the norm. The lady that did my tattoo isn’t even shown on the website.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place. Travis Wolf was my artist. This was my first tattoo, and the experience was great. Pretty straightforward, answered any questions I had, and made sure I was happy with my stenciled tattoo before the real thing. The result was great, and he will see me again for further work!!! Fantastic experience: My friend and I were in town for her bachelorette party, and we came here for two simple nature-themed tattoos. Caleb was our artist, and he took the designs we showed him and made them into beautiful, interesting little things with lots of cleverly-placed lines and shading. They ended up being so cool!! He was very professional and provided a nice and chill atmosphere as well. The price point is worth it for something you are going to wear every day for the rest of your life ;)

Fantastic experience: MARS was amazing, soo nice and very light handed. I wasn’t the most excited to get ankle tat but it was so easy!! I’m in love and I will be going back! Also sometimes it’s kind of intimidating walking into a tattoo shop for the first time and mars made my cousins and I’s first time there so comfortable:) This was our match tattoo by Mars.

Fantastic experience: Pam Sanders did my first tattoo back in April 2021, as of now we are working on finishing my full sleeve in December. She instantly made me feel comfortable and talked to me through the whole process. Designing my tattoos were basically me giving her a million different Pinterest ideas then she took the time to get to know me and what the tattoo meant to me, then comes up with her own design and it always ends up being EXACTLY what I want. The amount of detail she puts into her work is more than I could have ever imagined She is always up for something new and different. I wont go to anyone else, even if that means I have to wait a year for my next tattoo.

I went down to their shop in Mesa n I just have to say that I'll be sending everyones who asks THERE. Mars was my artist & is AMAZING. Mars came up with the design based off a character I gave & really came through. The entire process from reaching out up till when I left was great. I enjoyed my entire time. In the chair it was super comfortable and welcoming, I forgot I was even getting the tattoo because we were chatting so casually. Mars was able to take me in and she was amazing!! because it was my first tattoo I was pretty nervous but she was great at making me feel calm, comfortable, and had good vibes all around. Fantastic experience: I went in to get a tattoo by their apprentice Mars! As any person who’s getting a tattoo by an apprentice, I was a little nervous but I was met with amazing reassurance by them. They explained everything they were doing in great detail and made sure I was completely comfortable. Their mentor Jess has done amazing job helping Mars put together their skill. For being Mars’s 3rd tattoo I was blown away with the amount of skill they possess and absolutely would recommend not only them, but this great tattoo shop to all of my friends

Fantastic experience: Recently got a tattoo from one of their apprentices named Mars. They are incredible artist and i’m so in love with the work they did on me. I was a bit worried seeing as I have never had an apprentice tattoo me before but Mars is incredible. They did so well walking me through the process and explaining everything that was going to happen and definitely made me feel comfortable through it all. I’m excited to come back and try some more with them. They definitely know what they are doing. Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I are from Seattle and went to Scottsdale for a much needed getaway and we wanted to get tattoos. I found this shop online and read all the amazing reviews about Pam. Let me say, She was AMAZING! I gave her a idea of what I wanted and she turned it into her own beautiful masterpiece, my boyfriend told her his ideas and she drew it up right then and there. She was so sweet and didn’t mind me talking her ear off! Her line work is perfection and she puts her soul into your tattoo. I will be traveling back to get my tattoos from her for now on!!!!

Fantastic experience: Me and my boyfriend got tattoos from Robbi here, she got our designs drawn up super fast for us and was extremely helpful when it came to figuring out the placement and sizing aspects. My boyfriend got a panther on his leg and it’s his favorite tattoo now. I got some art on my arm and ribcage, I don’t have the best tolerance for pain so it was great to know I had an artist I could trust and be comfortable with. I would rate 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Old Town Ink was a great business to get my first tattoo. Pam Sanders did an excellent job designing and providing my first ever tattoo. I have been hesitant to get one for years but after communicating with her and seeing the owner Bubba Irwin on Ink masters, I was willing to give it a shot. Ms.Sanders was easy to talk to and went over the process. During the session she made me relax and I felt little to no pain. I think she was an excellent artist and was glad she was able to not only do my first tattoo, but my nephews and best friend's tattoo thsat same day we scheduled. Fantastic experience: Robbi did an amazing job on my tattoo! I went in with an idea of words on top of a mountain and it wasn’t even necessarily something I was completely happy with going in, but thankfully Robbi said it just wouldn’t look right on skin and helped me to design a perfect tattoo fit for me. She even stayed late to finish it. Excellent job, couldn’t recommend enough.

Negative experience: The quoted my brother 500 bucks for a god smack symbol solid black nothing fancy no color nothing. I've seen half sleeves done for less and portraits at love and hate tattoo

I was coming from out of town and she was totally responsive via email and made the whole scheduling process easy. The shop has a great vibe and it was a great experience. Go see Pam!

From my consult to the day of my appointment she made herself available when I had any questions regarding the design and style I wanted. The conversation throughout my session was great and very friendly. Positive experience: Robbi did some work that I wasn't completely satisfied with (my accountability as well). When I went back with my idea to have it covered, Robbi was amazing! The finished product is actually better than my original, and I couldn't be happier!! I'll definitely be seeing her again in the future....she's a total gem! Fantastic experience: I was a part of a bachelorette party that spontaneously decided to get tattoos, and we ended up at Old Town Ink. They were really great and gracious with us even though we all rocked up at 8pm wanting small tattoos. They have a decent $80 shop minimum. Be advised that some artists are cash only and some accept cards. There’s an ATM at the shop. Some of the ink in my tattoo didn’t take to my skin.. or maybe it was a spot that just got missed?? I’m not sure. Maybe it’s just a normal thing. I don’t know, it was my first tattoo. But other than that I don’t think anyone had any quality issues.

Fantastic experience: Pam Sanders is the one who did my very first tattoo and it couldn’t have gone better! She worked with me on the design of my arm band and it turned out better than I could have imagined! Throughout the 4 hour process Pam was consistently checking on me to see how I was doing and making sure I felt alright, I would highly recommend going to see Pam if your gonna get a tattoo! UPDATE: I went back for another tattoo recently and Pam did an amazing job as usual! She always takes my ideas and makes them even better than I could have imagined!

Fantastic experience: This place is so awesome. All of the artists are so dope and do an amazing job. This is the only tattoo place Iv been to that I will recommend to anyone. I wish I lived in Arizona so I could go again. Such good work, so clean, fast, good prices, and super nice. Glen Coit did my tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Pam sanders did an amazing tattoo on my mom sister and I, we are all obsessed with the art she proposed and I am definitely booking with her again! Love this place! She does great botanical black work tattoos if that is your style!

Fantastic experience: I never write reviews. But after working with Justin, I have too! We did the outline of my sleeve and I am so pleased with it! He did an amazing job, gave me everything I asked for and made the 8 hour experience really enjoyable . I HIGHLY recommend him and the entire shop. Everyone was sogreat and friendly . Overall just a great experience. So excited to go back!

Positive experience: Our appointment was scheduled for 630 but he did not start the tattoo until 8. Did not draw the tattoo in advance so we had to wait for him to draw it up even though we made the appointment two days prior. He touched his phone with his gloves on before tattooing my friend. Good value as he only charged $150 for a 4x4 color tattoo. My artist was Gamboa. If you're a clean freak I wouldn't go to him. Also very poor people skills. Hardly spoke to us the whole time. Did fast work which could be good or bad. The tattoo turned out really well and did not get infected.

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment with Domenic and had a great experience. He was super cool, easy to book an appointment with, and very responsive over email. He's kind and easy to talk to as well, so you'll feel at ease if you give him a chance. It was my first time getting a tattoo and thanks to him it won't be my last. I was in and out in less than an hour with a quality tattoo on my arm by the end.

Fantastic experience: Came in to pay a deposit. Heard great things about this tattoo shop. Paid a deposit in cash. Ended up becoming deathly ill. Called, after I was amongst the land of the living again. Was told i had to repay a new deposit because I no called no showed. Because I was in the hospital. Never received a phone call or anything from anyone about any appointments that I had scheduled. Minnesota wouldn't do you like that.

Fantastic experience: Came in today for a tattoo. Worked with Glen. Had an amazing time! He took my idea and helped me to customize it in my own way. He made great recommendations based on what I wanted vs what I was working with. Felt comfortable enough looking at his art, just told him to have fun with it. Do what would look good. I can say. It was a great choice. Definitely on the top of my recommendations list for others. Thanks for the rooster Glen!
