I chose Club Tattoo when I was searching for a salon to have it done, although I knew nothing about them. I was not disappointed. I realize times have changed so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Upon arrival, I observed that I was among artists who took their work seriously. Christian was very professional and told me how he was going to do it and what to expect. These people took cleanliness to another level. The location was spotless & the interior was beautiful! The work this artist did was amazing for such a small area!

This place was recommended by our Scottsdale party bike ride tour guide.

Positive experience: My girlfriends and I were on a girls weekend in Scottsdale and a few of us decided to get new piercings. We saw Old Town Tattoos accepted walk-ins so we decided to go. I will first say that everyone was very pleasant, professional, and seemed knowledgeable. The place was very clean and nice. Our group had zero complaints about the service or the space itself. That being said, we all kind of felt like we were scammed as far as pricing goes and they were not transparent at all about cost. When we walked in, one of the employees greeted us saying their piercing fee was $15. They then took us over to jewelry cases and a lot of their jewelry was very expensive. They knew I wanted two piercings (one on each side of my ear) and quoted me $160 for my earrings. Little did I know it was $160 each -- my total for two ear piercings was over $400. My friend paid over $300 and another paid over $400 for one piercing. While we love our new piercings, we would have chosen to go somewhere else for over $1,100. They also ask for a tip before the service is performed.

Fantastic experience: Ryan tattooed my sternum and stomach, he did a fantastic job and finished the line work incredibly quickly and we were able to get a head start with color packing for the next session. I'm excited to finish the tattoo, thank you Ryan!

Negative experience: They do a good job with the piercings, but not gonna lie. Their attitude is horrible. Anytime I’ve ever asked a question they make me feel like I’m an idiot. And it’s been two separate times that this has happened with two separate people. Their attitude def needs some work!

Fantastic experience: Check in was relatively quick they have you pay before your session after one of the Tattoo artist, give a price for the tattoo. Everything is very clean in there and I really like how much they care about making everything very safe and sanitary. The tattoo artist was amazing will definitely be back

Fantastic experience: Came here for a walk in ear piercing - really quick process, with option for registration and payment before service to make things even faster, with an aftercare card and supplies. Lots of options for jewelry (since you can't use your own for first piercing), ranging from steel to gold. Glad to have come here, and at a week out, my piercing is already healing well with no issues!

Fantastic experience: I just completed the first of two full-day sessions on my custom full arm sleeve with Namm G, and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s turning out. From the start, she really listened to my idea of seaweed wrapping up my arm and transformed it into a stunning, flowing custom design. The Asian-style influences woven throughout the piece are beautiful, and you can truly see her Korean roots reflected in the details and composition. Her artistry, creativity, and attention to flow on the body are incredible. Even after just the first session, the sleeve already feels cohesive and powerful. Fantastic experience: Walked in here after being put on a walk-in waitlist for another shop. It was extremely clean and I instantly noticed a huge picture of Chester Bennington (former lead singer of Linkin Park). As a huge Linkin Park fan, I figured I was in the right place and later found out he was a co-founder which was a crazy twist of fate. It was my first tattoo and I was TERRIFIED but everyone was so friendly and patient. Nam did a fantastic job - she was efficient and so detail oriented. The tattoo was painless. My sister and I got matching IU tridents so it was a fairly simple design but Nam helped us find the right size, spot and shading. Great great shop!

Fantastic experience: Club Tattoo is freakin’ awesome! My husband and I took our 16-year-old there for her birthday to get her first tattoo. Nam was incredible—she walked our daughter through the entire process and made her feel totally comfortable. On top of that, we walked in about an hour and a half to two hours before our daughters scheduled appointment, and they still managed to fit both my husband and me in for a couple of small tattoos. Nam did my husband’s piece, and John did mine. The work turned out amazing! We just got them done yesterday, so no pictures yet, but once they’re healed, I’ll definitely post an update. I had gotten a daith and navel piercing here (both flawless experiences) so I knew the professionalism and cleanliness was what I wanted for my daughter. I have concerns about the piercing guns and so I knew I wanted the straight needle, which is another reason we chose to come here. The entire experience was perfect. The piercer knew how to talk to a 5 year old about the process, and she was extremely kind and gentle throughout. The first ear was no big deal, but my sweet girl got teary with the second one. The piercer handled her emotions so warmly. My daughter is in love with her new earrings and so excited to have pierced ears! Make sure to read their policy for minors and bring a birth certificate/passport as well as your ID if you bring little ones here.

Fantastic experience: Ryan at the Scottsdale location was my tattoo artist. I was impressed with him from the start. I had picked an abstract graphic image to use for a sleeve. It was complex. Not all tattoo artists can be artists in other formats. Ryan can sketch impressively. He was able to free hand a large portion of my tattoo. He was meticulous, dedicated and hard working. I absolutely love my sleeve and I’m so glad that I chose Ryan to do it. He is incredibly talented and just a really good person besides.

Fantastic experience: Tattoo artist Alexis did an excellent job for me. My Tattoo was my first experience and it was awesome. Alexis is a great choice for tattoos.

Fantastic experience: As far as I know, You’re able to choose your artist based off portfolios and I made the great choice of choosing Seth. We discussed my piece and he hand-drew me the vision I gave him. He was understanding and sympathetic to my annoying back pain so we made it two separate sessions, for my third tattoo artist I would say I enjoyed his work ethic the most not only with technique but the professionalism overall. I look forward to being a customer in the future!!

Negative experience: I have been getting tattooed consistently for the past six years and have never had such a horrible tattoo experience. My tattoo healing experience was EXCRUCIATING, it required medical attention (including antibiotics), excreted pus for a week, scarred my arm, blew out unlike anything I have seen before & drifted ink to surrounding areas, causing my arm to look permanently bruised. The artist was mediocre, lacking technical skill and knowledge required for good quality elbow dutch tattoos. My issue is with the fact that Club Tattoo- a million dollar company- refused to refund any amount of money paid for this extremely unfortunate tattoo. The tattoo scarred my arm in multiple places, required medical attention, blew out unlike any piece i’ve seen before, and drifted ink to the surrounding areas, causing my arm to look permanently bruised. Club tattoo manager blamed this on me, claiming that I moisturized the tattoo too much through healing. I know exactly what I am doing, and how to heal a good, proper tattoo. I am a heavily tattooed individual and over six years, from multiple shops, with multiple inks and have NEVER had something heal in this regretful manner. $270 for this deplorable piece of ink on my arm, which is forever ruined. All I requested was a partial refund, as I understand the artist should be paid for his time and material. No partial refund could be offered, only a touch up with the same or another artist at that unfortunate shop, which I explained I did not feel comfortable returning to- rightfully so. I’ll be seeking alternative methods of reconciliation since Club Tattoo thinks it’s appropriate for their clients to pay full, outrageous prices for art that ruined their arm and caused intense pain.

Fantastic experience: The service was amazing with great prices. Everybody was so kind and understanding. Definitely the best piercing/tattoo shop i’ve been to. 10/10!!!!! :)

Fantastic experience: I had my tattoo done by Xtian and he is amazing! I gave him a reference photo and a general idea of some changes I wanted to make and he created the perfect tattoo! Studio is clean and the counter staff are friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!
