Fantastic experience: In preparation for a visit to Wrightsville Beach, my sis-n-law and I booked appts at Rhythm and Blues Tattoo for matching tattoos. My artist was Niki...absolutely LOVE her! Her personality and attention to detail is amazing!! I so enjoyed chatting with her during the entire tattoo process. Niki checked in with me several times to not only make sure I was comfortable, but wanted me to check her work to ensure I was happy. Besides being a fantastic artist, Niki is incredibly professional and accommodating, extremely focused on detail and makes sure the process is sanitary! I will definitely return with Niki as my go to tattoo artist.

Fantastic experience: I've been sitting with a tattoo idea for a while and sent the concept to Kamran to get it finer tuned and estimated cost. Kamran was extremely professional throughout and made sure there was no pressure and this was my experience. He absolutely nailed the concept and the design. I am already planning out my next one for him to do.

Fantastic experience: I love this shop. Everyone is super friendly, and Mike G has done two pieces for me so far, but there will definitely be more. The work I've had done is amazing. His artistry is exactly what I was looking for. It's a really chill vibe, and they even have tampons in the bathroom, if that matters to you. They always offer bottled water, and are just really accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

He took his time with my daughter, explaining every step of the process and making sure that she understood everything, and that she was comfortable throughout the process. Negative experience: Had an appointment with Jacob. He was nice and made my family members comfortable. However, it took weeks to get ahold of this business to make the appointment and finally I got a time. He was half an hour late to the appointment, made us wait hours before we started the tattoos. I was there from 1:30pm-8pm. He had no regard for anyones time and it was extremely upsetting. Again, nice guy but no consideration. 3 tattoos smaller than a had shouldn’t be an entire day.

Fantastic experience: I had an awesome experience at Rhythm and Blues Tattoo and will definitely be coming back for future tattoo opportunities. The studio was clean and welcoming. I was able to meet with the tattoo artist, Cameron (@trashtattcam on Instagram), and go over my tattoo idea and any changes I might want to make. Cameron offered excellent suggestions and allowed me to make any modifications I might want. He showed me the design I wanted in three different sizes and walked through the various placements I was thinking. I felt extremely confident with my tattoo design and Cameron's ability to tattoo that design. The actual tattooing process was quick and easy! After applying the stencil design, Cameron began tattooing. It was a great experience to talk to him about his tattooing experience and some of the other pieces he has worked on. He has tattooed incredible pieces that he designed. When the tattoo was complete, he walked me through the steps for tattoo care and answered all of my questions. I will definitely be returning in the future and suggesting my friends reach out to Cameron any tattoo ideas they have. This was my first tattoo in Wilmington and it couldn't have gone better. A big thank you to Cameron and Rhythm and Blues for this awesome experience.
