Fantastic experience: Hailey was great made me feel super comfortable! She finished a piece that I got partially done from a different studio that told me they didn’t feel confident in finishing it. She did an amazing job 10/10 recommend will be coming back.

Fantastic experience: This is the only place in NW Ohio I’ll go to for tattoos and piercings. Amazing artists and even more amazing work. The environment is very clean and you can tell that they 100% love their career. The vibes are immaculate. Their prices are very fair and totally worth it. Every experience here is a 10/10.

Fantastic experience: On a whim I wanted to get my first tattoo :) I went in and was helped right away the staff where very nice and Joe was my tattoo artist he did a great job very funny and walked me through the tattoo of what he was doing and his shading techniques and it was great to learn a few things. I’m very happy with my tattoo!

Positive experience: Great shop for walk-ins and they’re open really late, which is awesome

Negative experience: Went in to get my nose pierced. Upon walking in, there was someone sitting behind the counter but he didn’t speak. He didn’t say “hi welcome in” or anything; he didn’t even acknowledge my presence until I was at the counter and had to speak first. He answered my questions and did let me know that the piercings were buy 2 get 1 free. I ended up adding 2 additional piercings. He was helpful when discussing the placement of my piercings, but the whole interaction didn’t feel friendly. He did not discuss any after care with me at all either. The job was done, but customer service was severely lacking. This interaction makes me not want to return.

Fantastic experience: Went in there today as a walk-in for a piercing emergency, YES THERE IS SUCH A THING! :) I was taken care of quickly, and easily and my piercer (whose name I unfortunately do not know) did exactly what needed to be done plus. It relieved a whole lot of stress for me and my next medical appointment (MRI) go smooth as silk

Negative experience: DONT GO FOR ANY SURFACE PIERCINGS AND DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS!! I went for an anti eyebrow piercing back in august and they used the wrong bar PURPOSEFULLY. They also tell you to clean your piercings with hand soap, which is too harsh and will move the piercing, this causes improper healing. They messed me up and won’t compensate for it either.

Negative experience: Very expensive not very good at the workk they do wont be back 300 dollars for a 20 minute tattoo

Negative experience: Worst tattoo ever. Put a crooked freehand outline around a cross tattoo that wasn't even supposed to be there, defeats the whole purpose of the tattoo. $300 wasted. The artist was Dominic Garcia.

Fantastic experience: My first time in Ohio, visiting with my boyfriend’s family. I decided to get a nose piercing! I got my nose pierced by Zoe, and let me tell you, she was the sweetest and most welcoming!! I felt 100% comfortable with her, and she was very reassuring!

Fantastic experience: Been going here for around 8 months now I have got 4 tattoos from a guy named X he is one of the best he actually cared about his clients one of the best he hooks you up when you need it I will continue too get tattoos from him

Fantastic experience: Merry Jane did my forearm tattoo. Absolutely love her, her line work and shading is amazing this is my second tattoo done by her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tattoo artist. She’s easy going and laid back.

Negative experience: I got my helix done there and went to take the jewelry out because of a job. The piercing was fully healed and I still went through so much pain getting it out because they close the bar so tiny that you’ll need pliers or something stronger to widen the bar and get it out your ear. Will never go back

Fantastic experience: Zoe is THE best person to get pierced by- coming from someone with 10 piercings. I was a walk in, she got me in and out in no time plus made me feel SO comfortable the entire time. Walked me through what to expect with healing, changing jewelry process and all my dumb miscellaneous questions. Literally couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

Negative experience: Literally got a very small 3 word tattoo in black ink for $113.00. That was the CASH price, which was cheaper than using a credit/debit card. I will NEVER go back or recommend this place! I had checked the website ahead of time to see what their minimum price for a tattoo was. It stated $60 min, and I was certain it would be the shop minimum, so I was shocked when I was told $113. Like, seriously!? Gotta be kidding! I've gotten bigger, more intricate, colored tattoos for under $100. Even considering inflation, this was still a ridiculous price. I felt very much taken advantage of when I left. He wouldn't even give me a receipt when I asked for 1. So. Apparently, if you pay cash, you get no receipt and no aftercare instruction sheet or anything to prove you got your tattoo there and actually paid. Please do yourselves a favor if you go there for a tattoo check to make sure (and I recommend getting it in writing 1st) what they will charge you for the tattoo. Don't assume that a small, black tattoo will be their shop minimum charge. I'd REALLY HATE to see what their shop minimum tattoo looks like. This turned what should've been a wonderful memory into total crap. Lesson learned.

Negative experience: This is the worst tattoo I've ever gotten! I wanted a simple black and grey tattoo of the picture I sent him. It looks nothing like it.

Negative experience: Deliberately over quoted us. Would have loved to get our tattoos with them , but once we came in they qouted us an absolutely over the top price. I wanted a cross, very simple with a small arm band and they qouted me over $500 for it. My wife wanted a simple bowtie with a small lace band around her leg. I understand the price on the lace and bowtie, lots of fine line work( price for this was close to others).. HOWEVER, to charge literally 2-3 times the price as every other shop ( they only qouted me around $250 for my Cross) in the area for my cross was terrible. It truly felt like they deliberately over priced my work to push us out of the door. Would have loved to give them our business, but after talking to literally every other shop in the area , and getting the same ball park price from everyone else, it was clear to us they simply didn't want the buisuness. I'll go with the other shop. 3 stars only because I felt with them years ago and I know they can do great work. Best of luck .

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, quick, affordable, painless... almost always my go to spot when I need any work done!

Negative experience: The actual piercing experience was okay. I got a mid helix done. I asked if they would be able to put a stud in rather than a hoop because I had read that hoops can be bad for healing. She told me they wouldn’t do a stud and only a hoop. I asked if she could count down before she pierced me because I like to be prepared and she acted like that was a super strange request and said she didn’t like doing that because someone could move. She did reluctantly do it after some discussion. A few months after cleaning it twice a day and trying to take care of it - it was swollen and had keloids on both sides. It would bleed and leak pus. After talking to many other people who had piercings done there, this seemed to be a common experience. After a few more weeks of constant pain I made the decision to take it out. Removing the hoop required two screwdrivers and a couple hours to pry it open and get it out. I have never had this kind of reaction or trouble healing with any other helix piercings - one of which I did at home myself.

Negative experience: I took my friend here to get her thirds done for her ears and this was a horrible experience, when we got there the girl automatically had an attitude (she didn’t give us her name) and was really rushy about what was happening. She takes my friend back to the room and then puts the dots on and didn’t give her a pre warning that she was going to pierce her and just stabbed her and again on the other side the same thing no pre warning and then to top it off she put her earring so tight it was pushing into the back of her ear and causing her tremendous pain, and The piercer was saying it would stop the bleeding and it wasn’t tight at all, but it was making her ears hurt super bad and by the time she got home it was really irritated and started bleeding again. Over all worse experience for a simple ear piercing.

Positive experience: We had MaryJane do 3 of us all together she did great.

Fantastic experience: Boyfriend and I went in for tattoos and had a blast. While I waited Zoe, the piercer, gave me a cute monroe. Tokyo did an awesome job on the BFs tat and I ended up scheduling a different day with Tokyo to get my ink since we were there late. He and Zoe both have a soft touch and both did a wonderful job! Would definitely return.

Fantastic experience: I went yesterday on my birthday (12/27/2024) to get my free $30 piercing and then another $30 one on top of that. Let me just say that Emily (the girl that pierced me) was awesome. She told me what she was gonna be doing step by step and asked me if I was doing okay. Took my daughter to get 3 piercings done and the piercer was not only unbelievably cool as hell but helped her to tension free and it was wonderfully done. He or whitey are the only two that will ever touch my kids or me live this shop and have for years!!! Can't recommend Sara though although she's got a great personality after being pierced by her once ( only because whitey was not available and I needed piercing therapy immediately) I had to let it close and have it redone to actually have them even... Just need a little bit of patience and maybe no more rushing around at the expense of other people's bodies when you're having a not so healthy day. BUT still love her and both locations of this establishment will never go or refer anyone to anywhere else EVER. THANK YOU GUYS FOR BEING YOU!

Fantastic experience: I have went to a few other tattoo studios before, and I’ve always had to go back for touchups (I actually had needle master fix a few of the other shops mistakes as well). Well, ever since I made the decision to start coming to Needle Masters about three years ago, I’ve never had to go back to the shop for a touchup, it was always done right the first time. I have been tattooed by Dom, Joe P, and Merry Jane. As for piercing, also 5 stars, I never wanted to get my ears pierced but one day on a whim I decided I wanted it done, they got me in fast and it was quick and the girl working made it an awesome experience! Amazing job needle Masters and you will have my business for the rest of my life. I

Negative experience: Absolute terrible cleaning practices. I do not know the persons name who pierced me, but she had different colored hair (pinks, purples, black?), a black septum in her nose. My girlfriend and I were there to get a piercing, in two different spots. She asked us to give her a couple minutes to clean up and we'll be ready for her. Eventually she brings us back, my girlfriend goes first. The chair that she asked my girlfriend to sit on had not been cleaned. After she finishes my girlfriend's piercing, it's now my turn. Again, the chair does not get cleaned and she asks me to lay down on the chair to face her. It's not even a proper length of a tattooing/piercing chair either. I had to bend my knees up just to fit. I'm only 5'3. I didn't notice until I left that the piercer didn't change her gloves. She didn't give any aftercare instructions besides "wash it with Dial antibacterial soap". Which is what every single one of my other piercers (even the bad ones) have said NOT to do. I left out the shop bleeding and she gave me two cotton swabs to take home. The whole process felt very rushed. Worst tattoo shop I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: We took our eleven year old here to get her earlobes pierced after much deliberation. It was very much her choice and I we are so so HAPPY and GRATEFUL we chose to go here! Zoe was wonderful and couldn’t have been more considerate and professional. She made it so so painless, easy and not traumatic! The matter care instructions were very clear and helpful, the jewelry used is appropriate and safe, everyone is happy with the outcome. We will come back in the future and we will definitely recommend the place to anyone who is looking for work. Thank you again, she’s very very happy with her newly pierced ears and there’s no swelling or pain. Hope to see you soon!

Fantastic experience: I’m 17 and I just got my first tattoo. I was very nervous for it because I didn’t know what to expect, but my artist Jamie did amazing. I love how it came out, and he was patient with me. Tattooed great, and loved the personal connection he made with us. He checked in with me to make sure I was good throughout the process. So, overall great experience, great artist, etc. Would recommend everyone.

Negative experience: Went in for my first ever piercings (one in each earlobe) and the guy was too busy talking about his ex to give us any aftercare instructions. Ended up in the ER because the left piercing was too tight.

Negative experience: Came in to get “stainless steel” jewelry for one of my piercings and it started changing colors and rusting not too long afterwards… came in to get an actual stainless steel piece of jewelry to replace it and the guy at the front desk acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about…

Negative experience: Never again will I come here rudest people ever! I called to make sure they didn’t close at 12 like the other location and they told me 1am I arrive 30 minutes before and their door is locked. The guy who I encountered opened the door and rudely asked “can I help you” I then said “yes I called earlier and I was told you closed at 1 it’s 30 minutes til” he then replied “yeah we closed early” I then replied with “I drove 25 minutes here after I already called and I was told 1 not 12:30” he then said “oh well I’m sorry” which he didn’t show at all and closed the door in my face

Fantastic experience: my boyfriend and I had a horrible experience at another shop tonight, after debating for months if we were sure we wanted the piercings we had talked about. we finally booked a 2 hour slot at another shop and waited for an hour as other customers were seen during the times that we reserved, before finally leaving and feeling super disappointed and frustrated. we called into ink masters to see if they would mind a double walk in, and the person who answered the phone was super nice and let us know it was fine. when we walked in the doors we were greeted by happy helpful people. cece did our work and she was absolutely phenomenal. extremely personable and informative and a true professional. she got us both done very quickly and the whole time it felt like we were hanging out with a friend. not to mention the discount we got on a future piercing for getting 2 on an individual. their jewelry selection is decent but amazingly priced. we were so bummed but needle masters really turned our night around and we cannot sing enough praises for cece. she even answered all my curious questions about the process of piercing. she was just so awesome man, we are SO HAPPY with our services and will continue to return.

Negative experience: Called ahead and given a time slot. After an hour the artist came out saying if he flips a coin and it lands on tails he’s not doing it.. then after 2 hours of waiting he never came out and we left. This is a great place if you want a terrible experience

Fantastic experience: Voodoo vendetta does such a good job! She has fixed both mine and my friends crooked cartilage piercings that were done a year ago…she is the only person I will go see for piercings now. Highly recommend going to see her

Negative experience: I just tried to come there for the first time in about a year I live in northwood ohio so i had alittle drive to find out they were closed i called yesterday they stated thwy were open till 3am and. So did google and there door i got there at 1:55am for 2 peicings and the door was locked a woman said they were closed and I left now i wont be getting a peircing due to this!!! Thanks!!

Fantastic experience: Definitely my go to studio for tattoos and piercings! Even after moving states, I travel 3 hours just to come here. It is a very safe, friendly and creative place to be. Liam has done 9 of my tattoos and I love every single one of them. He is super helpful and great at bringing ideas to life.

Fantastic experience: I went here to get a top to my dermal piercing and Brandy was absolutely amazing. My skin had actually started to grow over my piercing and Brandy was able to put the new top in without having to make a new hole. It was very quick and pain free. I would highly recommend her.

Negative experience: I was quoted $80-$100 via text message/picture mail to get a small/medium sized half butterfly on my hand. The person I was texting said I could come in at shift change (7p). I text him in advance that I would be running behind 7, but I was on my way. I arrived at 7:10p. When I arrived, he stated I was late and would not be doing my tattoo and insisted his coworker could do beautiful work for me. Fair enough. She did the tattoo and then come time to check out, I was charged $230 for the tattoo that I was quoted $80-100 for. I then showed her my text thread and she stated that she charges differently than he does. Again, fair, every tattoo artist sets their own prices, however, when I can get a half sleeve of quality and beautiful work for $500 and I am paying $230 for a small, half butterfly, that’s slightly unreasonable, but the ink is in my body, pay it, cut my losses of being robbed and go home. After appropriately caring for my tattoo, it started cracking/scabbing over day 2 and healed in a very awful way. My hand looks like it has been scribbled on and there is not one section of this tattoo where I have black, beautiful and smooth ink. I know, I know, it’s a hand tattoo, but I also have other hand and finger tattoo’s and know what the healing process looks like and the difference between good and poor quality ink and this is not good quality ink, especially for the unfair price I had to pay for it. I am very disappointed in Needle Masters, especially with the artist that bashed a former tattoo artist from there for opening his own shop who offers poor work so then my expectation of her work was much more than what was offered to me. Now I will have to find someone to correct this work and this little simple butterfly will go from a $230 tattoo to give or take a $380 tattoo. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I cover my hand with my sleeve because I’m so embarrassed by it. So before you go here and get a tattoo, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! They say a good tattoo ain’t cheap and a cheap tattoo ain’t good, well apparently neither is an expensive one! What a let down!

Negative experience: Had just gotten a tattoo was given a price for this tattoo ahead of time and the tattoo didn’t even cost the price I was told before getting it so it was way to expensive for something that could have been way better work than what I got. I got a butterfly tattoo on my left lower hand and and the next few days the tattoo started peeling and light shade of ink with even bare skin patches are starting to show and the shading is all over the place looks like someone scribbled on my hand and not one time did I get a full refund!!

Positive experience: This is my go to piercing place. My 16 yr old had her septum pierced and my 28 yr old, her helix. No problems.

Negative experience: Staff not personable at all. I stood around for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to ask me what brought me in, after I was told to come in for a piercing. The staff completely ignored everyone in the waiting area either sketching on an iPad, talking amongst each other, or flat out ignoring customers. This Needle Masters is flat out bs and I’d rather drive out to the one on Telegraph. I’d never waste my time coming in.

Fantastic experience: ZELL IS LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST ARTIST THERE, like he can do literally ANYTHING YOU ASK HIM TO DO!! he’s a genius!! he’s so funny and so easy to talk to!!

Fantastic experience: Was hesitant to go because I had heard it advertised on the radio so often. I wanted a place that was going to be very professional and personal. I wound up booking an appt due to their late night hours. Boy was I glad I did. Brandi did my piercings and was very patient with all of my questions about allergies, healing, etc. Almost painless. She was great! Zell did my tattoo. He took was great about not changing my design I had drawn and inked it beautifully and precisely. While he was working on it, my husband and I looked at some of his creations. We loved them so much that we are going to have him create my husband's back art. He has a masterful hand and a rare talent for art.

Fantastic experience: I've never waited so long to get a tattoo, but it was well worth it. I can't remember the name of the girl that pierced my eyebrow, but she was seriously awesome. Zell killed it on mine and my girl's tattoos, great guy to chat with.

Negative experience: I went to get a tattoo of my two sons When I got home I had realized that the Roman numerals were not correct (no biggie just go get it fixed) so I go back to get it fixed and now it looks even worse. I paid $217 for this tattoo and I just wanna cry because of how bad it looks Before I got the number fixed and after

Fantastic experience: I’ve had great experiences at this parlor! Had almost all my piercings done here, including helix, rook, and nose and have no complaints. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would definitely suggest Brandi for piercings! Recently had Zell do this work on my arm and I am IN LOVE. He was kind and patient and did beautiful work over all!

Fantastic experience: Voodoo did a great job on all 6 piercings that I got. She’s quick and accurate on placement. She has a great personality which made the experience really wonderful. She has made a client for life. I can’t wait to see her next time.

Fantastic experience: my friend and i had an apptment with a diff tattoo artist in our area and they canceled and the only place open was this place and it was not a regret at all! Zell took care of us and he was absolutely amazing! Very nice and reasonable pricing and did an amazing job! you have to wait but good things come with patience :)
