Fantastic experience: I went to get a piercing today and I had the pleasure of having Brandi today. She was very sweet, professional, informative and overall just a doll. I was really nervous but she helped ease some of that. Very appreciative of her !

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I found them when another shop's piercing turned my ear green and they replaced my jewelry with actual high quality stuff. The staff is always friendly and honest. They've refused piercings I want because I didn't have the anatomy for it, which is a good thing! I appreciate that they value my health over profit. Great staff, awesome jewelry selection, and very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Went here to have my daughter’s spider bites sized down. Experience was great. The lady was nice and helpful. Told us to come back if they were sizes down too much. Went back a couple weeks later to have them sized back up some. The guy refused to change them out. Said we needed birth certificate (although we didn’t need it the first time) he seemed a little jerkish and unhappy the first time we were there but we didn’t have to deal with him so it didn’t matter. This time we did and he was absolutely terrible. Will never return or spend any of my money at this shop again. I was going to get the spider bites resized and get three new pieces of jewelry for my ear.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in last Sunday made an appointment with Charlie for today 11-16. Gave her an idea of what I wanted and sent her some pictures. Next thing you know she made it come to life. Awesome communication and artist. Clean and professional. Definitely worth an 8 hour drive to me

Negative experience: So far its been bad communication is laking will update after the appointment. Reply: I talk to customer all the time on my day off its part of business, even more so since the customer is the one paying your bills. I am sorry you feel that way. It take 2 seconds to reply.

Fantastic experience: Chelsea and Brandi are absolutely amazing! Chelsea greeted me when I walked in and helped me pick out my jewelry, she’s such a sweet soul. Brandi walked me through every step of the piercing process and helped to settle my nerves. I will be going back to both of these wonderful ladies for all of my future piercings!

Fantastic experience: This was my first ever facial piercings and I could not be happier! The booking process was simple and quick, I was able to get in same day, and the shop was beautiful! Stacie helped walk me through the process and was very helpful and kind. I am super satisfied with my piercings and can't wait to go back for more!

Fantastic experience: I could not speak more highly of Stacie. She is incredibly kind, patient, answers every question throughly. She ultimately cares about your health/safety/healing. I got my conch and a helix pierced by her and don’t want to go anywhere else now. She makes you feel so comfortable and will never make you feel dumb or weird for asking questions, no matter how silly they feel! Can’t wait to go back to her for my next piercing.

Fantastic experience: Bought a basic navel jewelry. My daughter lost her top ball off her original jewelry and needed a quick replacement. They were very helpful. She was impressed by the beautiful choices but they were a bit out of her price range for the moment.

Negative experience: So I got my navel pierced and I had ten piercings prior from a local Michigan piercer no problem and I’m never straying from them again. Not only was I pierced with a bar that was WAY too short I was pierced wrong especially for my anatomy, you can’t even see the bottom of my piercing. The bottom of it is so deep in my navel you can barely see it when standing and not at all sitting. The gem I was pierced with was also painful I don’t know why there weren’t any regular steel bar options? I’m probably going to have to completely let it heal and get it repierced it’s beyond ridiculous and could have been avoided. Do not go here for navel piercings if you value your skin.

Fantastic experience: The weather was crappy so I ended up not having to work the morning and I decided to get my nose pierced randomly I called and they asked me to make an appointment which was totally fine they had several appointments open for that mid-morning and afternoon so I made one for promptly at noon I came early they talked to me early sanitize my jewelry early and I was done before my appointment time almost even started the shop has been around my whole life and I can see why very clean!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about this shop! From the minute I walked in, I was welcomed and felt completely comfortable. I had a poor piercing experience at a different shop years ago, so I was a little nervous; Stacie was really great about informing me each step of the way and keeping me totally calm. My whole appointment went fabulously and I am already looking forward to going back and getting a second nostril piercing from her once this one heals.

Negative experience: Very unpleasant and unhelpful staff. I suggest going to Amity Ink in Maumee. The staff there were amazing. Night and day difference.

Negative experience: Worst piercing shop I’ve been to. Butchered my piercing. Didn’t measure me. Gave me jewlery that’s too small. Took an hour to get to me during my appointment

Fantastic experience: as a person with autism and a low pain tolerance, piercings have always been something i've been scared of. however, every time i've come here everyone is so accommodating and understanding and is so patient with me as i'm also prone to fainting. amazing environment and i've never had ANYTHING go wrong with my piercings. the prices are amazing considering how easy and clean this parlor is. cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have received many piercing and have gone to many different piercers, and I can say that this is by far one of the best. I have received a paired nostril and a daith from 2 different piercers at Steel Addictions, and both times have been met with upmost care in keeping things sanitary and professional. Their jewelry is high-quality, and their attention to detail and precision is unmatched from any piercer I’ve seen thus far. I see some people complain about prices, but you are paying for the skill and expertise these piercers have! Cheap piercings are red flags! My only complaint is that they charge to change / downsize jewelry, but it’s understandable considering the amount of people that come in

Had a wonderful first experience and learned some much needed information that I can use for these new piercings and for any future ones as well. Wish I had the extra money to tip her because she did an AMAZING job.

Positive experience: Overall I had a good experience. I got two helix piercings in January 2019 by Alexia and she did a wonderful job. These were my first piercings and I didn’t know a lot about them, so I definitely wish I would have been warned against getting a cartilage piercing in both ears at the same time. I slept on a pillow with a hole in it for over a year and one of my piercings still ended up tipped at quite an angle over time. Additionally, one of my earrings started to turn green a couple months after it was placed. They were very eager to replace it free of charge, but the replacement also turned green soon after. They told me it was an issue with the earring itself (not my piercing) and we ended up replacing it with a different style entirely. EDIT DECEMBER 2023: It’s been a few years since I initially posted this review. I have since gotten 8+ additional (healed) piercings with piercers who were members of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). I just wanted to come back on here to say that if you’re thinking about getting a piercing, please go find an APP member!! I ended up having to take out one of these helix piercings that I got at Steel Addictions after 2 years because it was so crooked… which was a result of 1.) sleeping on it and 2.) not getting the piercing downsized. Did Steel Addictions tell me not to sleep on it? Absolutely! But they should have warned me not to get a piercing on both sides at the same time if I was a side sleeper. They also never told me to downsize the initial posts even after I went in there months post-swelling to get the defective jewelry switched out. At the end of the day, Steel Addictions did what was required to give me a safe and sterile piercing. But they did not set me up to heal these piercings successfully. Be weary of piercers that won’t tell you no—it’s better to be warned/refused/informed now than to spend years healing a piercing that you have to take out anyway. Piercings based on your individual anatomy are going to be much more successful than ones based upon pictures of ears that look nothing like yours. Your piercer should always be talking to you about how to take your anatomy into account. They should be asking if you wear glasses, if you use ear buds, if you’re a side sleeper, etc. if you’re trying to get a piercing that would interfere with those things. It’s been a few years since I was at Steel Addictions, so they might have changed their policies since then and I really hope this is the case. But to be better safe than sorry, like I said before, please see if you can locate an APP piercer first. They are trained on these exact things to set you up with piercings that you won’t have to remove years down the line.

Fantastic experience: Came here to get my Stepdaughter ears pierced. The service was super quick and extremely friendly. Everyone was professional and answered our questions. The art and atmosphere of this place is awesome! They have tattoo artists, a nice waiting room, a great selection of jewelry, QR codes available to check out the art styles of their professionals. The piercing price was a little over $100 including jewelry. Great place!

Fantastic experience: never left a review before but the girl who pierced me and my friend did an amazing job; pierced just my belly and ear, but was so professional but also personable, such a great experience. slightly messed up the placement of the lobe piercing but instead of calling it good enough and sending me on my way she re-pierced it no hesitation. also gave me the most straight/centered naval piercing ive ever seen. did a great job on my friends ears, got his perfect first try, as well as his septum ring. all placed perfectly, done easily and quickly. was super straight forward and confident in her abilities and skills, as well as communicated every step super well. over all great experience, super lovely piercer. totally forgot her name but the shorter one lovely piercer, i'll be back again! :)

Fantastic experience: Steve (Fish), words fail me, what a fantastic experience. It has been nearly 15 yrs. since my last tattoo, and 6 weeks ago Steve did a commemorative tattoo for me. I was so happy with it that I immediately booked to have some more work done, this was completed last weekend and again I am very pleased. I can guarantee I will be going back for more. He has a way of putting you at ease, he is very quick and accurate, particularly his line work and also has a very light touch which only comes from years of experience. Thank you, Steve.

Fantastic experience: My sister and i went to get matching tattoos on a whim, went to steel addictions hoping they’d have a spot for us, I feel like we hit the jackpot! Not only did the artist Zell welcome and accommodate us, he was very personable, very funny, efficient, actually found a flaw in the tattoo we chose, and fixed it! He added some personal touches to the the design, and the tattoos are absolutely amazing! I have several tattoos, but this one was done with extra precision and he made sure his lines were on point, his shading is perfect,and my sister and I literally have flawless tattoos!!! I highly recommend Zell if you’re looking to get some ink! He definitely will not disappoint!

Negative experience: Avoid. This place is unprofessional. I have gone to them twice in the last 6 months — before and after the birth of my daughter — to remove and put jewelry back in. Both times I had positive experiences. One of my jewelry fell out and I returned for a third time (in a matter of 6 months) to get the stud back in. Back story: My piercings are well over a decade old, not remembering where I got them. (Some I’ve had done in Toledo, a few in Columbus.) Nevertheless, because I couldn’t remember, she refused to help me. I had the same woman who I had a great experience with when I first had my jewelry removed before birth. She refused to help me this time. I do not recommend this place to others due to their inconsistency and unprofessionalism.

Fantastic experience: Stacie was great! Got a dermal piercing on my face and my friend got her septum. She made everything super comfortable and shared her knowledge and stories with us! Not to mention it’s now almost 2 days later and I have absolutely no issues. No redness no swelling. I highly recommend!
