Fantastic experience: Showed up this afternoon as a walk in from a recommendation from my old artist who moved out of the area. Joe and his Team couldn't have been friendlier - The tattoo turned out great, which I had expected, but the way they all interacted with the other customers, made everyone feel comfortable, and the state of the shop (cleanliness, artwork, music and ambiance) sets them apart from any other shop I've stepped foot in. 5*'s isn't enough, truthfully. Thank you guys for everything ya do, and I look forward to coming back in the future! Stephen

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience at Hawks electric tattoo shop! I made an appointment with Devin for 3 fine lined tattoos and from the very start he was incredibly kind and patient with me. He made the whole experience so much fun and worked with me along the way to create exactly what I wanted and gave great advice for tattoo placement and design. I couldn’t be happier with all of my tattoos and appreciate him so much. I’ve already recommended him to so many people! Great atmosphere, very professional but everyone I met was kind and fun!

Fantastic experience: Devin was perfect, the work is so smooth and he was communicative the whole time. I’ve had a few done already but if it’s your first tattoo, he’d be a great go-to! Fantastic experience: I was a walk in at hawks tattoo and from the moment I walked in I was greeted and welcomed by all of the artists. They make you feel very welcomed and comfortable. I had several sessions with Joe doing a full sleeve. Joe's artistic eye and steady hand made my tattoo unbelievably amazing!! The tattoo turned out 100 times better than I could have imagined. Joe is a rockstar no question about it, and I had the pleasure of watching his awesome crew of artists doing their thing on other people and I can honestly say that is a shop full of the most talented tattoo artists I've ever seen. The price is also pretty unbelievable, I would absolutely recommend everyone visit Hawks tattoo for your next and all your tattoo needs. You can't go wrong with whomever tats you at Hawks.

Fantastic experience: Upon entrance I was greeted immediately, the atmosphere is very welcoming, professional but light hearted as well. All of my questions were answered without judgement of what I was asking and the shop was extremely clean. I was able to get tattooed right then and there, Aiden was my artist who was very patient and able to deal with my animated personality.... I highly recommend this shop and will definitely be going back sooner than later.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I decided we wanted to kick the new year off right by getting new tattoos. I have been looking for a local artist since I moved to Tampa four years ago and voila!!! We found Aiden, who is by far the most professional, creative and delightful artist of his craft I have ever worked with. The work came out fantastic, the price was right and I left wanting to schedule my next session. When we went in to see if we could schedule an appointment, we were met by both Joe and Aiden. Handshakes, engaging conversation and a generally amazing vibe was felt from the jump. These guys are literally the nicest people in the neighborhood. Fantastic experience: My sister and I went to Hawks on impulse. We aren't from the area and was mostly passing by. Not sure how to explain it but out of all the shops we past by, this on caught our eye. We stopped in and was greeted instantly with friendliness. As if reading our minds, Max, immediately pointed to a handful of flash tattoo binders. We looked through the amazing art but the "Get what you Get" capsule vending machine is what we ended up choosing. Not only did the first thing peak our intrest, he also made it work more towards something we like. He was friendly and joked the whole time which helped any nerves. If we find ourselves in Tampa again, we will surely pass by.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience getting tattooed by Devin yesterday, he was very attentive in making sure my tattoos were exactly what I wanted, even walked me around to the other artists to get their opinions after placing/drawing the stencil. All the guys there were super personable and funny, seemed to really love their jobs. "What's that place you like with all the stuff on the walls? Oh you mean Shenanigans!?" But no its Hawks. Every artist you'll find inside offers top notch quality work that will have you thinking about your next appointment before they even finish your first one. You may think Oh it's a traditional American "bold-will-hold" kinda shop. Well yes but there's no 1 trick ponies here. Whether you're looking for fine line script, a massive skull and dagger back piece or anything in between, they've got you covered. No tough guy tattoo shop BS here, just a buncha friendly folks patiently awaiting your next adornment. I've been tattooed in multiple highly reputable shops around the country and Hawks ranks right up there with the best of them. 100% will be back for more. Don't forget to TIP YOUR ARTIST.

He has done free drawn on me as well that’s turned out better than I could have hoped for. They do accept walk-ins but we made an appointment to come the next day and fell in love immediately! Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at hawks eletric tattoo specifically with aiden. I came in for a modern tribal abstract, Polynesian theme expecting professional work, but instead, I was left with blowouts, uneven lines, and poor execution that should never happen from a trained professional. 1. Poor Quality Work – My tattoo has visible blowouts, shaky and inconsistent linework, and uneven sections that are very noticeable. I followed proper aftercare, yet the flaws were present immediately after the session. 2. Lack of Accountability – When I brought up my concerns, the artist blamed me instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes. Rather than offering a proper solution, they made excuses and dismissed my valid concerns. 3. Unprofessionalism – I expected a professional approach, but instead, I was met with gaslighting and no willingness to correct the issue properly. The shop owner’s response was also dismissive, offering only a vague discussion instead of a refund or real solution. For a shop that charges $150 I expected much better. Now I have to either live with a poor-quality tattoo or pay another artist to fix it. I do NOT recommend hawks electric tattoo in to anyone who values quality work and honest customer service.

Fantastic experience: Really a great shop it's worth your money to come here not just for the tattoos but the whole experience. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel really comfortable. These artist do great work and also I noticed they all take a great effort in making you feel comfortable. There skill set is a 1 on my list. Fantastic experience: I recently got a small wrist tattoo at Hawks. They were responsive and communicated well during the planning phase. On the day of my tattoo they were welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. The shop was clean and all of the artists were friendly and professional. They even sang me happy birthday, which added to the friendly vibe and made me feel even better. Besides all of that, Max did an awesome job on my tattoo! I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough about Hawks Electric Tattoos. Had my first tattoo done yesterday. The entire crew was awesome. Aiden did my tattoo and was great. He explained the whole procedure and offered suggestions which were awesome. I can’t wait to get another tattoo and will definitely be back. Thanks again Aiden and the entire crew.

Fantastic experience: I had my first tattoo yesterday at Hawks Electric Tattoos. I couldn’t be more happy. Joe did mine and I saw other very talented tattooists inking others. I have zero complaints. I gave Joe an idea of what I had in mind and he expanded on it (having me approve any change). It’s gorgeous. It was a relaxing, fun environment with awesome artists. You will not be disappointed and I will highly recommend this shop to anyone who asks (and doesn’t).

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I are from Germany and spent a week in Tampa for vacation last week. We walked in the shop spontaneously and asked for a little tattoo for both of us. Mike and Max took care of us and did a great job! We're more than happy with the results and would 10/10 recommend hawks electric tattoos. Also a great atmosphere in there! Just an awesome team :)

Fantastic experience: Woke up and decided today is the day for a new tattoo. I'm new to the area so didn't know where to go. Did a quick Google search and found incredible reviews about Hawks, so I thought what the heck let's go. When I tell you the reviews were not wrong. As soon I walked in, I knew I had found my shop. The vibe was great. Cody worked me into his schedule without an appointment and did an amazing job. He has "the hands of a baby angel". The guys banter was hysterical and the music was right the whole atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be back for more work. Just go you will not be disappointed. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Great experience for my very first tattoo! I was a walk in and felt very comfortable there. This place has amazingly kind, talented people!! Fantastic experience: Went with two girlfriends to get tattoo's on vacation and the atmosphere was amazing. Everyone there was so amazing to work with. Super clean. Guys all had a great sense of humor, super fun environment and they were so helpful with everything. Very clean line work and absolutely delivered on what we wanted. They made sure we were happy with placement and design beforehand. Couldn’t be any happier with the experience and the results. Also very reasonably priced! 10/10 would recommend and next time I come back to Tampa will absolutely visit them again for another tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Hawks was able to take a group of five as walk ins, and were more than happy to do so. They were so enthusiastic about their artwork and the opportunity to give us all matching tattoos. I have never felt so welcomed in a tattoo parlor!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting Hawks and it won’t be the last. I booked with Cody for a traditional panther on my arm and the amount of care & consideration he put into every detail was awesome. Plus all the guys in the shop have a great energy. Perfect experience!

Fantastic experience: While visiting Tampa from Canada the boys at Hawks Tattoos came through for me with an awesome new custom tattoo! After Aiden worked hard on drawing up my design he was super sick on tattoo day and then Devin stepped up and hooked me up with his own amazing owl design that I’m proud to be able to take home and surprise my son. Loved the atmosphere at this shop and the guys are just fun to be around. They make everyone super comfortable and care about their clients and giving top quality tattoos. I highly recommend them and will be back for sure!

Fantastic experience: I recently got my first Celtic inspired tattoo, first tattoo ever, at their shop. Devin was my artist, and immediately upon walking in the door it’s like you knew each other for 15 years. Super friendly, great bunch of guys, engaged you in conversation and made you feel comfortable immediately. I really enjoyed the experience and I’m definitely coming back

Fantastic experience: While on vacation in beautiful Florida I decided to have a tattoo. So I did a little research and found Hawks Electric Tattoo’s. I went in & met Mike Amador, who was very friendly and welcoming. Important Fact: the shop was clean & pristine. And my tattoo came out amazing! I highly recommend giving them a try! As a matter of fact, all the gentlemen in the shop were incredible! 5 Stars for sure!
