Positive experience: my belly piercing healed perfectly but i got my surface tragus w a curved bar and its rejecting after 2 months, vibes were also great inside!

Fantastic experience: I loved Veronica!!! she pierced me and my bsf 4 times each and she was so respectful, funny, and fast! Also I’ve gotten piercings from this place before and I love it!

Negative experience: Home of the terrible piercing, put a way too small of a bar into my lip (10mm). Also jewelry was magnetic?? Started to embed into my lip after the first night, saw a different piercer and told me they fix ink villians piercing all the time. I would not recommend. I understand it’s a 2 for 20 but save your money and go else where. reply: indeed the bar as too small, i did everything to not make me lip swell as much and still the backing was embedded. And again other piercer and some others i’ve talked to all said the same thing. For being a certified piercer who i’m sure has done many of lip piercings, they should taken account that people have different anatomy and need longer bars etc.

Fantastic experience: Wifey's piercings are SO quick and easy. I was searching up pain levels for my peircings and I came in thinking I was about to be in pain but nah it was great. I highly recommend! Definitely will catch me back for more.

Negative experience: Went in for a piercing a week ago and it's already rejecting due to not being the proper piercing needed for this place. Now I have to remove it and get it corrected. Also had to do the same with my nipples bars where to small

Fantastic experience: i had a bad experience at another ink villans location, so i was nervous—but this location was amazing. the shop was clean and everyone was friendly. i got my helix and mid-helix pierced with titanium jewelry for $50. lynni was so gentle and made me feel super comfortable. defff recommenddd!!!

Negative experience: I recently came to ink villians for the two for twenty I’m not really too sure on who did them but she did six piercings on me first off i had no clue that, that was an issue but apparently it is i went to some other piercings and they told me they shouldn’t have even allowed it and not only that all six piercing where pierced at weird angels none of them were straight i had to take out my hélix piercing because it was deemed that it would never be able to heal because the angel it was pierced at, not only that my nose piercing is pierced downwords with my lobes too. Im not quite sure who did my piercings but no way they where experienced what so ever i think high school girls in the bathroom could honestly do a better Job so i would very much like my money back please.

Negative experience: Recently got pierced here within the last month and both of my piercings were given shorter bars than recommended for healing. It’s caused irritation and a lot of discomfort. I ended up changing the belly piercing to something more comfortable because the original they gave me wasn’t fit for my anatomy and it felt a lot better for a week or two.

Negative experience: If the 2 for $20 deal sounds too good to be true, that’s because it is. My piercer at Ink Villains told me right before piercing that she was an aggressive piercer, which just about the last thing you want to hear before someone stabs a needle through your cartilage. She then proceeded to shove a curved bar into my new piercing. After a few months of irritation and little to no healing, I went to Atomic to have them look at it. My piercer at Atomic saw the jewelry and immediately knew it was from Ink Villains. She says she fixes at least 10 piercings a week from this 2 for $20 deal. Save yourself time and just pay a little bit extra to get the piercing done right the first time. PLEASE DON’T GO HERE.

Negative experience: Pierced it wrong everyone in town apparently knows they use the wrong piercings for the ears . Every salon I called told me I should change them . Instead of studs they placed some curved long stud . I’m telling you guys almost every place knows that they do this . Don’t come here to get your ears pierced atleast.

Negative experience: Both myself and a friend were pierced with incorrect jewelry. Lobes, helix, and flat got curved barbells which is the wrong jewelry. Paid $60 just to get pain and discomfort. I dont know if the piercer was improperly trained or just didnt care but from reading other reviews this is an issue that is repeated from this place. Do not get any piercings from this place!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten seven piercings at this place and its been an amazing experience each time. You’re serviced very quickly and Veronica the main piercer is so nice and answers any questions you have, goes over how to take care of the piercing, and overall just hypes you up shes so sweet. The price is amazing considering how expensive piercings elsewhere are. The set up is very clean and they follow standard procedures to ensure you are pierced properly. I really recommend this spot for piercings I haven’t had any issues at all with any of the seven i’ve gotten from here and the staff are friendly!

Fantastic experience: I came in for a double helix and it came out exactly how I wanted it! The people are honest in telling you what looks good and in pricing. There were multiple opportunities where they could’ve pushed for a sale or upselling products, but they didn’t and made the experience more genuine. The piercer did an amazing job communication-wise and was even better at being quick to make it as painless as possible! Would definitely recommend!! (I did the 2 for $20 and used titanium which was an additional $15 each totaling to $50)

Negative experience: I went three weeks ago to get my industrial, conch, helix, tragus, and septum pierced everything has healed very well but i noticed that my industrial wasn’t healing correctly I thought I saw the piercing bended a little bit but I just thought that it was from my ear being swollen made it look bended the first few days but today I saw that my piercing is still swollen and a keloid is growing so I went ahead and took off the piercing and it is bended so it was preventing me from healing correctly. I had piercings done before I always take care of them and I never had a problem like that before. I feel like the piercing was put on me while it was already bended. I just want to bring this to your attention for the piercer to be more careful and inspect the piercing before putting it on someone.

I got 4 piercings for $40 (3 ear piercings and 1 stomach ) My sister inlaw got 2 for $20 ( 2 ear piercings) The piercer was very experienced, very friendly, positive attitude. Negative experience: I recently got my back surface pierced, but the wrong type of jewelry was used. A curved barbell (C-bar) was inserted, which caused the piercing to reject. Do not get a surface piercing done with a curved barbell it’s not suitable for this type of piercing and can lead to rejection and scarring.

Negative experience: You must call before you go to find out who’s piercing!!! Nani is the best and she’s a BEAST!! Fast and Gentle. I called yesterday looking for Nani and when I called there was NO answer, called TWICE no answer. At this point, I Say to myself that’s weird. This is a business no answer and no call back.??? So I picked up my nieces for their piercings and had my niece call ALL BEHOLD an answer. “Veronica” answered so I realized when I Called she had seen my name on the caller ID and refused to answer the phone as if it is her business just because she doesn’t like me for whatever reason. . I love how the vision of my name changes moods a salty “street” girl who felt some type of way over minor situations lost money out her pocket but we still went to Ybor location. That piercer was new but did fantastic. My nieces loved her and their new piercing . CALL BEFORE YOU GO, READ YOUR REVIEWS. Nani is worth the wait.

Fantastic experience: My mom and I came in for 2/$20 for my birthday. Lee pierced us both; I had gotten my belly button pierced a few years back and the bar was too small, so it ended up being infected. She placed a bar bigger than I needed and I love it, especially for the healing process. I also got my rook pierced and it was placed perfectly. My mom got her 3rd hole pierced in both ears. We are both super happy with our results!!! Have already recommended to friends!

Negative experience: got my industrial piercing here and the piecer didn’t ask me how i wanted it or draw a mark to show me what she was going to do, she just did it as soon as I sat down. It was uncomfortable as hell touching my head 24/7 and I hated how it ended up looking. “home of the 2 for $20” and you get what you pay for. Every piercing I got here I had to take out afterwards because it was poorly done and improperly placed.

Fantastic experience: 3 of us went in with a vague idea of a tattoo. Angel went through 4 or 5 different designs before 1 stuck. We each got a small ankle tat that can be added too each time we all join together. Thanks Angel for putting up with all the changes and indecisions and the comedy that we were. You were awesome!

He nailed my vision of tattoo that I wanted years ago and on top of that he was very nice with the whole process not tattooing rough or in a rush!! Negative experience: 0 STARS!! I got my Ashley and lower belly button pierced. I just couldn’t pass up the 2 for $20 deal. Unfortunately, both piercings were pierced with the wrong jewelry. My lip bar was to short and instead of the piercer using a flat back, I had a ball on the front and inside my lip. The ball was digging into my lip and causing a sore. I went back to the shop a few days later and a different piercer changed my jewelry to a flat back but the damage had already been done so I had to removed it, it’s healed with no scaring . As for my lower belly piercing the jewelry was also short the round ball dug into lower stomach, leaving a sore that has now healed and caused a keloid

Fantastic experience: I went to Ink Villains to get my double nose piercing. My experience was so quick and painless. Of course I felt the pressure of the needle but it was very brief. I would definitely recommend this shop!

Negative experience: One of the piercers did not know what she was doing. I literally walked in and she didn’t even say anything or greet me and she looked like she was on drugs. She is not knowledgeable about piercings or about different anatomy’s. She gave me a short bar when I needed a long bar, and now my skin is growing over the piercing. If you guys decide to go to this place be ware that not all piercers know what they are doing there .

Positive experience: Took my granddaughter to get ear piercings in August. We went to get earrings today and was told the bar used for her ear was not for ears it was for eyebrows to thick and the second piercing on ear was pierced downward so she cannot use any earrings. We were new at this so we should have been explained what was going to be used.

I had 10+ piercings prior to our session from other locations, this was my first time at ink villain and it was my best piercing experience to date! Veronica was quick with the piercing process and very personable! I will definitely be coming back here for my next piercing.

Negative experience: Took my daughter to get a piercing for her birthday. The lady doing the piercings (she got several) forgot to put the backs on and they came out several times. We went back to the shop and the receptionist gave us the backs, but charged us 5 dollars to put the back on each piercing she didn't do!!! The other option was to come back a week later when that same girl would be there and not get charged. By then the piercings would have come out and she'd have to go through the pain and suffering of getting everything repeirced. Absolutely terrible service! There is a reason they are so cheap! After I left the receptionist and piercer talked about me to my daughter and told her to tell me I was extra! Unprofessional doesn't even begin to cover it.

Negative experience: Went to ink villains hoping to get my industrial, at first the process was going really smoothly, I did have some fear due to the pain I knew the industrial would cause because of the type of piercing it is. Right before I was getting my piercing, I expressed that maybe the anatomy of my ear was NOT suitable for the industrial, but the piercer(veronica) brushed it off and said “you’re fine” and proceeded to give me the industrial anyway. Although, I appreciate how fast it went, I did not appreciate the lack of care to check that I might not have the best anatomy for an industrial. As you can see the first photo was taken 10 min after the piercing was done, as a week went by I started to notice the bar was digging into the flat of my ear. Then 2 weeks later, in the 3rd picture it’s clear that the bar is further digging into the flat of my ear. In the last picture the bar is off, and this is the damage that has been done. I would not suggest going to a place that isn’t going to take the proper time or care to make sure your your piercing is suitable for your anatomy.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved this place! Went in last night for a piercing and Lee (sorry if I didn’t spell it correctly) the piercer was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable and was patient with me as I was super nervous which was greatly appreciated. The lady up front was awesome also, sorry didn’t get her name! Positive experience: Everything was great, the staff, the piercer, everything was great. This really is no complaint on the individuals themselves. I went in and got 4 new piercings to add to my 15 others i have, so this isn’t my first rodeo. This was my first time here, being I recently moved from out of state & using the same piercer for 10 years. I have stretched ears and hundreds of hours of tattoos , just trying to paint a picture here. 2/4 are fine. ( One of the 2/4 I did take out after 1 day because I didn’t like it in me. Nothing to do with the shop/ artist! So really 1/3 are fine) I will say the 2 that aren’t, are places I had previously pierced and let close but the piercer and I agreed and didn’t go through the same holes or near them. (I took them out for a reason). They’re both placed fine, but… I have NEVER had an issue with piercings. I have other holes that have been pierced over and over simply due to me taking them out. But these two… firstly… I have never heard of somewhere piercing a nose with that small of a gauge. Way too small. It was painful and constantly irritated. It’s been about a month & that is not normal for me. 2 days ago I took the OG jewelry out. Re-pierced it myself & using a 14g needle , put in new jewelry and in less than 48 hours it is GOLDEN. Same for my belly button, not sure what happened there either. I took it out the same day & put in new jewelry, todays it’s perfect. I used the same soap I have always used, dial gold. Same way I’ve always cleaned my piercings. Same aftercare routine all around. Im not sure what happened, so this isn’t a blow to the shop or piercer, she was so kind. I hate it turned out this way. I gave 3 stars because like I said, im not sure what went wrong and the staff was great. Id suggest maybe piercing nostrils with a bigger gauged needle and using internal threaded jewelry.

Negative experience: great prices and very nice staff, but went to get two more piercings done on my lobes and they are very uneven. another time I went to get my upper lobes done there as well. i took care of it properly and did all my best, but it still ended up infected somehow and i had to take my earrings out and lose the piercings. i would definitely recommend paying more and finding a slightly more, for lack of a better word, experienced and higher rated place. i understand that the ratings here are high, but i would believe this is mostly from the great price they offer. maybe i’m the only one that’s ever had a problem, but to be safe, i would definitely go somewhere else for my next piercing EDIT - based on the business’s response to other reviews i’m definitely more concerned. please look at the lowest rated reviews to see the way this place responds to their customers. i definitely was giving them the benefit of the doubt before but after seeing that i regret ever going here. whoever replies to reviews can say whatever they want to this review, it really doesn’t matter because at the end of the day multiple people have been infected and if you want to run a business that aims to bring people back and make them feel comfortable, you should be professional! EDIT 2: In response to the business’s response, all I have to say is this: No company asks to be on Google, you are on Google so that the public can see an unbiased review of you and your services. Obviously businesses with bad reviews and no professionalism would not want to be on here to be exposed. Additionally, it is possible to become infected from anywhere, there is no 0% chance of that happening in any given shop because you cannot 100% control that with no error and therefore cannot claim that it is impossible to be infected from your shop. The fact that multiple people have now had issues with infections after being pierced by you is very telling!

So the reason I’m editing — the swelling of my septum caused it to sit sideways. So naturally I was concerned and I messaged the shop. Even with the shop being in off business hours they responded, asked for pictures and I sent them some, I also explained it may just be the swelling but I wanted their professional opinion. They agreed, it did look fine but they gave me options anyway. Which I thought was great, because even though yes my piercing is straight they have me an option to have it fixed if I felt I truly needed it. Which I don’t lol. Swelling is basically gone and my piercing sits straight. So thank you again, Ink Villians. I will absolutely be back. Came to do the 2/20$ piercings. I decided just on 1 instead. Been wanting my septum for years and finally did it! Lynni is the one who did my septum. I was psyching myself out at first. Nervous like I don’t already have any piercings, lol! But she was great. Talked me through the whole thing, and made me feel so comfortable even though it was very obvious I was nervous as heck. Will absolutely be back for more.

Both Lynni (front desk) and Nani (piercer) handle the situation perfectly and professional. Love this place, if I could get a new tattoo or piercing everyday I would!!

Fantastic experience: I had got a belly piercing. The lady was very quick and thorough. I really didn’t feel the pain, she was very swift and quick. I don’t know her name but i have a recording of the event.

Positive experience: Was here to get my septum and nostril pierced under the 2 for $20 deal. Piercer was friendly and I didn’t have to wait long. Can’t wait to return for more!

Negative experience: I’m sure there are people in the shop that bring positivity to the environment. It’s the female at the counter and the female piecer who both have attitude problems. I came and spent my money at this shop not to be given an attitude as if I’m the reason you both are clearly going through something. Anyway I got 2 piercings and 1 being my nose is infected. It’s has only been 5 weeks. I went to the ER and was advised to contact the dept of health since it seemed to them that I must have been pierced with an old needle. As a federal government inspector I’ve dealt with the nastiest, unorganized, money hungry individuals. So yes while they may have a good deal on piercings the after math that comes with it is completely unsettling. Don’t waste your money. Go to a shop that is more welcoming and will properly take care of you. I was also not provided with aftercare instructions.

Fantastic experience: I went to the shop for the first time and it was amazing experience. The piercer I wish I would have caught her name she really quick with it and also made sure you were satisfied before you left her chair. She also recommended products to use for after care. Definitely a place worth coming back for more

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter in and we both got our nose and ear pierced. All the staff I encountered was very nice. We will definitely be back!!!

Negative experience: Terrible experience, got my ears pierced here piercer used a curved bar for my lobes. Ended up having to take them out completely and get them re-pierced later. Piercer also placed them in the wrong location and wouldn’t redo marks before piercing!
