Pride & Glory Tattoo Parlor

Negative experience: Walked in during our time in Nashville to get a small fine line, he drew it up and I asked to change one small thing (for the bears ears to be round and not pointed) He changed it on the stencil, but then TATTOO’D IT ON ME the way I specifically asked for it NOT to be and now mine doesn’t match my partners. My partners also cost $50 more even though it was the exact same size and in the exact same spot? Really bummed about it as it was meant to mark a special memory **editing to add photo of how badly it has dropped out within 2 weeks and the over shot line on its face. Have messaged and asked for a refund or something to rectify.

Fantastic experience: Came in on a Sunday at 11:00, got in right away, place is gorgeous, staff is all super friendly and cool. Great place and artists were super talented!

Fantastic experience: I wanted a tattoo of my dog on my shoulder. I showed Brian a picture and he took it from there. He does amazing work. The tattoo looks exactly like the picture. Brian is very talented and I highly recommend him. He is creative, talented, and patient. Everyone in the shop is knowledgeable and helpful and they all work great together! I highly recommend this shop!

Fantastic experience: We came on a whime on vacation to get a last min tattoo for our anniversary. We walked in and from the start we got treated well and felt special from the beginning by all staff. Jane was our tattoo artist and she did an amazing job. She made us feel at ease and gave us suggestions on things to do around time while we were here. She was easy to talk to and did a phenomenal job. No way we'll not come back and come see her. Highly recommend!!!

I was super nervous about my first tattoo but I am very pleased with the results it looks FANTASTIC! I came with a group of 5 and we were pleasantly surprised when they told us we could all get tattooed right then and there. In and out in ~30 mins. Top notch!

Fantastic experience: They accommodated me even with my sickness. No worries to them. I'll be back soon. They took full care of me. I only got a little hand ribbon but the artist made sure I liked it and let me add pink.

Fantastic experience: Codey did a great job on my tattoo, I went on a wednesday at like 1pm and it wasn’t busy at all, everyone at the front desk was very nice and the environment is cool and friendly. They’re also very fairly priced unlike some of the other “tourist trap” parlors. 15/10 recommend!

There were 11 of us in total getting tattoos, and the whole process was incredibly smooth and efficient — we were all in and out in just two hours. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the shop itself was spotless, modern, and welcoming. 10/10 — this is the place to get your tattoo in Nashville! Plus, it’s conveniently located just down the road from Margaritaville and only a 10-minute walk from Broadway.

Fantastic experience: You wouldn’t expect this quality from a walk in tattoo parlor but I was floored. Such a cool building too! It was previously a fire station and they keep the garage door open for a really neat vibe. Walked in and the first thing I asked was “do you have anyone who does fine line work?”. They did. 3 1/2 hours later we were two very happy customers!!! We live 9 hours away but think we might be taking a trip back in the future JUST FOR tattoos here. Very reasonably priced too!

Fantastic experience: My two besties and I were on a mission to find the perfect tattoo spot for our girls trip — and after calling around, Pete completely drew us in with his energy. Like, I could literally feel his good vibes radiating through the phone! I told my friends, “This is the place,” and I was so right. ✨ We each got different tattoos — mine was fine line and it’s absolute perfection. Brian was our artist and he brought every detail to life with the calmest, coolest energy. We left obsessed, glowing, and already plotting our return trip next year (all the way from Ohio!). This place has that magic touch — good people, good energy, and good ink. Really reasonable pricing and we do not have a long weights for a walk-in at all!

With it being such a small tattoo, it took only about a minute. Quick, fun, and painless experience. There was a bit of a wait, as we were walk ins, but the staff was super friendly and helpful even while being so busy. The staff welcomed our group as walk-ins and helped us each find the perfect designs. I saw Sara, and helped me decide of the cutest little bull to serve as my memory of 2025 and this trip to Nashville. She did a great job, she was friendly, and I was out of there in a flash. I highly recommend this shop, and Sara, if you find yourself in downtown Nashville looking for the ultimate souvenir :)

Fantastic experience: Four of us went in right as they opened this morning for tattoos. We came in with custom ideas and they very willingly helped us take our ideas and tweak them to make sure we got the perfect tattoos. Everyone was extremely friendly the entire time and clearly knowledgeable when helping us pick placement. All four of us left extremely happy with the perfect souvenirs for our trip to Nashville.

Negative experience: Great place for a tattoo if you want a generic piece pulled from a book. We were the first and only clients to arrive right at opening time, and the rude man at the counter didn't seem to want to put effort into custom designs we had ready to go. The website states first come first serve, but apparently that's only the case if they feel like it.

Negative experience: I was with a group who 3 out of the 5 of us who wanted tattoos. Arrived right when they opened so we could get in. The website states "walk ins, first come, first serve". The guy at the counter was so unprofessional. We had designs ready to go, and he didn't seem to want to take us because "he would have to draw something up". Isn't that literally the point ?! It states nothing about picking something out of a book versus a custom tattoo. We also asked for appointments later on, and he could not guarantee us a spot because he didn't know how many "walk-ins" they would have. Isn't that how appointments work? They could've made a lot of $$ but they chose not to because of the guy's poor attitude.

Negative experience: We arrived at opening, no other customers were there. They suggested they could get us in right then. We showed our inspiration pictures and were told they would need to sketch out the designs and they weren’t sure if they would have time because they didn’t know who would walk in the door for a walk-in appointment… which is what we were there for? We asked to book an appointment for later that day. They didn’t know if they could book an appointment for later in the day, again because of potential walk-in’s. They suggested picking a design from their book. But we came in knowing what we wanted. Almost as if they didn’t want business today?

Fantastic experience: I got my helix pierced today (walk-in). The shop was very clean and welcoming. Amber was fun and professional. I had also wanted another piercing that was slightly risky (because of existing piercings) and she tried her best to accommodate but was also honest with me about what could happen. I appreciate the professionalism. My friend got a small tattoo from Cody and he was also very nice and professional.

Negative experience: Called and was told to come in. 3 of us wanted flash tattoo. They never told us a price even after showing us 3 different sizes. We even had our own design and picked 1 out. It seem like they didn't want to do it. Not very talkative. After all was said and done they left and immediately got on their phones infront of everyone. Not wanting to engage with customers. Not professional at all. We were shocked when they told us the price for flash tattoos at the end. One was almost 400. Definitely not recommend or going back. Should have told us the price up front. None of the 3 of us tattoo took more than an hour. They just wanted to hustle out of towners.

Fantastic experience: Amber was available for a walk in piercing on Saturday night. She was able to pierce my right tragus quickly and pain free. I appreciate that she explained her every move. She has skill and is experienced.

Positive experience: Quick tattoo. Very expensive for size. They said they stand behind artwork but I won't go back for any fix. 7 hours away. Skin stained by ink, looks bad. I approved but looking in mirror at design I did not realize the numbers were not centered.

Fantastic experience: My mom and I decided we wanted to get tattoos on a mom and daughter trip and we were lucky enough to find this gem of a tattoo parlor. Never been to Nashville before so I was going off reviews and we were not disappointed. There was a line at the door before they opened, first come first serve type of deal. We waited about 30 min from check in till we got brought back but it went fast. Sarah worked with us and she was wonderful. She made my mom's first tattoo experience memorable. So thankful we got her ❤️ if we come back we will definitely see her again. Thanks for the great experience and hospitality. We love you guys from CA!!

Fantastic experience: My friend and I popping in as walk ins- we’re from out of town and decided on a whim to get tattoos. The shop is clean, has professional staff and was able to take us right away. Spencer was my artist and he did an amazing job. We are soooo happy with our experience and will be back when we are back in town. Highly recommend to locals and tourists alike.

Fantastic experience: Came to the shop as a walk in. They set me up with Francky awesome guy did exactly what I wanted him to do. The place was clean and chill. The price was good (you are paying an artist for their talents) and I was in and out. Definitely recommend going to see these guys. My only complaint is I live 6 hours away from the shop.

Fantastic experience: Easy location to get to, very clean and warm location, creative artists. I went in for a spur of the moment tattoo and was helped quickly - was in and out within an hour (small tattoo done on my forearm). Simple process and will be back in the future.

Positive experience: A group of 4 of us walked in on Friday, 9/27/24. We only had to wait a few minutes. They split us between two artists. We showed them the designs we wanted, they printed them, and then took us back. We were allowed to have others with us in the room, which was nice. Brian did my tattoo, and he was very sweet and explained the whole process as he was doing it. He explained the after-care and everything felt very sanitary! The only thing I’m disappointed about is that he didn’t go over one part of the tattoo, so part of a line is lighter than the rest. Unfortunately, I don’t live in town, so it’s not so easy for me to go back in for him to correct it. My tattoo cost $127, and my sisters’ tattoos also cost the same, even though theirs were bigger and more detailed. This was my first tattoo though, so I’m not sure what the standard is.

Negative experience: Giving a 1 star for being closed. We were in town for our wedding over the weekend. We made an appointment weeks in advance to get tattoos on Sunday. We even have an email confirming the appt day/time. We arrive for our appt, the shop is closed. Chain was across the bars up front. We called,no one answered.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the tattoo I received from Pride and Glory. I was also pleased with the advice they gave me on a different tattoo I have in the pipeline.

Negative experience: Giving one star for dishonesty: We went in to get them done, my husband got a quote of 140 and I got a quote of 250 so we said ok. When I came out to pay they said my tattoo was 300 and my husbands was 200. They also said they would give us a couple discount and they did not. They were % dishonest and very rude at the end. We asked them to write down the price of our tattoos on the paper we filled out and they would not and now I see why they didn’t. They gauge you and we don’t recommend going to them. After arguing back and forth they said “well we said around 140/150 and 250”…. Like WTH ‍♀️ They are over priced for sub par work. I’d rather give my money to artist that not only do a good tattoo but are also honest about the process and price. They also said I would be there 1.5 hours max and I was there for 4 hours. So if you want a below basic tattoo be ready to pay 100-160 for it and anything with any extra lines I guess goes up by hundreds of dollars.
