Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! We walked in as a group of 3 without an appointment and were accommodated right away. Aaron did my tattoos and I am obsessed! He is friendly and meticulous - which is how you want your tattoo artist to be! His line work is incredible and he made me feel comfortable during my entire visit. If you’re looking to get a tattoo during your next trip to Nashville - this is the place to go!

Negative experience: Ignorant, rude, pushy to older women. Do better. And im sorry, I've seen some of the work from these "artist" on a few friends of mine from there and let me just say id rather have my 9 yr old niece tattoo me than those so called artist.

Negative experience: Place was clean and people were friendly but the tattoo sucked and was ridiculously priced. Heart is not symmetrical and an ink blob on the K. For $100 it should have been perfect.

Negative experience: Wait time was pretty normal for a walk-in tattoo and piercing but my 1 inch all-around hand tattoo healed horribly and actually scarred through, I also went in to get nipple piercings done and I wanted to give it the benefit of doubt, considering the usual heal time, but I got both of these services done back in August and they did not turn out well, piercings were just not improving on healing after following the care instructions, just avoid the place if you don’t want a tattoo of quality you’d get after a drunk night out on the town lol

Fantastic experience: We visited Nashville from the UK to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and wanted to mark the occasion with a matching tattoo. Our idea was a heart with Cupid’s arrow, the Lancashire rose, and the number 40 to represent our years together. Jason brought this design to life beautifully – it turned out even better than we imagined. We’re absolutely delighted with the result. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Professional and friendly. Only place in Nashville I could find for someone to pierce my daughter’s ears. I called a couple times to confirm I had correct paperwork and they assured me since we were driving 2 hours. Very friendly in person and relaxing for my daughter. I’d recommend here again!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved the is place. Came here for my birthday and every person I encounter had a positive attitude and made me feel so comfortable! The front desk lady was absolutely awesome!! Although she was the one I mostly interacted with…. She was my favorite!!! (Give her a raise!!) I had decided on a nose piercing. The lady who did it was awesome! She made sure I was comfortable and knew what I was getting myself into. She made sure I was relaxed before any nose stabbing… Also gave me a perfect run down on how to take care of it properly. As well informed me if any reason I had any questions or a keloid were to come up. To just shoot them a text and they’d help me the best they could!!! All in all this place is awesome!! They are such sweet people!!

Negative experience: would not suggest this place at all! The girl at the front desk told us it would be a two hour wait and that we could come back if we didnt want to wait inside. We left and came back with in an hour to check to see where we were on the wait list she said we were already called and would have to wait all over again. She was NOT at all apologetic nor accommodating so we spent over 4 hours waiting for a tattoo. I would also check in with her to see how much longer she would say next and would call other people. We should have left but at that point we were already waiting for quite sometime. she honestly ruined the entire day. They would be a great tattoo shop if they had someone who knew what they were doing. I dont even want to give one star but it wont allow a post without it. absolutely disgusted

Fantastic experience: The shop is very clean and inviting and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Tattoo artist Rob did an amazing job on my Tattoo! He is very good with find line tat's! He is the best tattoo artist I've ever had. I have no scarring, no fading and no discoloration in my tat! I highly recommend!

Positive experience: The tattoo itself was done very well but the service was not good. The tattoo artist told me one of my ideas was “dumb.” Which is so unprofessional. I was also trying to decide between 2 tattoos and he wouldn’t even mock up the second tattoo. I felt very rushed and it seemed annoyed. It was very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Madeline was very sweet and genuine, I felt very comfortable in their care.

Negative experience: After getting my lower helix here on Saturday 8/16, by Wednesday my ear was so swollen that my existing piercings needed to be upgraded to a longer bar and eventually had to remove the new piercing because of the reaction I had - which is why I requested and paid more for titanium jewelry. I have attached the picture of the jewelry for reference - you can see left is the one I was pierced with and the right is a traditional flat back earring. Not sure what went wrong, but after going to my normal piercer, it seems it was either a lower quality titanium or needed to be pierced with a longer bar to allow swelling. It’s traumatic experiences like this that add to the stigma against piercings. Who wants to spend $100+, be in excruciating pain and then ultimately lose out because 1 more day and the earring would be embedded into your ear?

Fantastic experience: I want to give a huge shoutout to Java because she honestly made our whole experience amazing. From the second we walked in, she was so welcoming, friendly, and personable. She didn’t just check us in—she really connected with us and made sure we felt completely comfortable. What made it even better is finding out she’s also from Colorado like us, which instantly gave us something to talk about and made the whole vibe feel even more relaxed and fun. Java went above and beyond with everything. She explained the process, answered all our questions, and had such a positive energy the whole time. You can tell she genuinely cares about people and loves what she does. Even though Jason and Rob did our tattoos (and they were awesome), the tone of the entire day was set by Java. She’s the first person you see when you come in, and she truly makes you feel like family. Shops need more people like her—professional, kind, and easy to connect with. She’s a huge part of why we’ll be coming back. If anyone deserves recognition, it’s definitely Java! If you want a tattoo Jason and rob are where it’s at!!!

Fantastic experience: Wade was fantastic! He took my initial idea and elevated it significantly, adding far more intricate details than I anticipated. On top of that, the cost was much lower than expected, and the environment was impeccably clean.

Negative experience: if i could give zero stars i would. this place was terrible and the tattoo artist (jason) was rude and rushing my friend to make a decision on which font she wanted. we were not in the store for even 20 minutes, and they were slow.. so rushing us made no sense. the company was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and the staff was unprepared and terrible customer service. then jason proceeded to joke about stabbing people. so yea don’t go here

Negative experience: Genuinly the worst customer service. Came for a tattoo for my friends birthday and she had a really simple request. He didn’t even care to help her make some small final decisions (as all tattoo artist are supposed to) and he rushed her to make a choice on her tattoo to the point where she almost anxiously got a tattoo she hated. He continued to be weird, rude, and pushy till we just had enough and left. On top of that the prices are kinda insane… $110 for two lobe piercings is unheard of.

Fantastic experience: Went in when I bumped my nose piercing out and needed to get a new one ASAP. Front desk staff was incredibly nice and replaced the jewelry for me and didn’t charge a service fee and even changed it out to make sure it was the correct size!

Positive experience: Overall my husband and I had a good experience. We did not love our tattoo artist Jerod. He just seemed to be very uninterested and dismissive. However he did good work. I wish he would have communicated the pricing beforehand but that’s also our fault for not asking. We both got 1 small tattoo on our wrist and paid $244 for both. Possibly would go back with a different artist.

Fantastic experience: Sean hooked all 4 of us up with tats that we very proudly show off! Incredibly talented! We came in with our own artwork and he was kind enough to steer us to making a few edits so the tattoo wouldn't look like crap over time. Mine was a tribute to my brother who was taken from us in his prime very unexpectedly. My tat is perfect! The penguin even resembles his attitude lol One of us got the first part of his scenery that he wants to do. Over the next couple times he's in Town, he'll be dropping back in to get another piece done. One is a tribute to our kids. Absolutely amazing line work! Absolutely love it! Another is an infinity symbol that he had to draw from a sketch. It was perfect! He will be the only person that I will get a tattoo from going forward! Guess I will be visiting Nashville more often (oh darn!)

Fantastic experience: Went to Nashville to celebrate my 60th Birthday recently. Had the pleasure of having Jason do a tattoo for me - something that meant a lot and I had been waiting just for this trip to get it done! Fantastic experience: My friends and I were just in Nashville after Bonnaroo was cancelled and decided to get matching tattoos while on our trip. We ended up googling tattoo shows near broadway and found Nashville Ink. We just walked in after 1pm on Sunday and got right in. Our artist was Sean and he was very nice and easy to chat with, we all had our tattoos done within 15-20 minutes and the fine line work was very well done. We would definitely come back if we visit Nashville again!

Fantastic experience: This was our second time going to see Sean Donovan he is so talented with his line work. We returned and put a deposit down to save a spot with him. He has the best sense of humor and very detailed in his work. If you go to Nashville get a tattoo by him. He came in on his day off just to do our tattoos. We will be back for a third and have him do it for sure! We are from mass and travel to see him!

Fantastic experience: This past weekend, CMA fest. I came to Nashville with my daughter Holly. Decided on saturday nite to get a tattoo walked in at 845pm. I got Jerod he was Awesome! Did an Amazing job its exactly what i wanted. Only my 2nd tattoo last one was 25 yrs ago. Very good price was only 150$

Fantastic experience: Wanted to get matching souvenir tattoos with my husband while in Nashville. I did my research a week before our trip, and decided on Nashville Ink. I inquired about walk-ins, yes they do them. Walked in, it was only an hour wait. Shop is clean, everyone was so professional and kind. Wade tattooed us, and absolutely nailed what we wanted, first draw up. Also nailed the placement on both of us, first time. He has been tattooing for 27 years, truly knows his stuff. Fantastic experience: Had such a great experience at Nashville Ink! The location was super convenient—just steps away from Broadway, which made it easy to stop in during our trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They created our design quickly, but it still turned out amazing with super clean lines and great detail. Pricing was very reasonable, especially for being right on the strip. We originally tried to get into Jellyrolls Bar for a tattoo, but the wait was long and they were limited to just arms or legs. Nashville Ink was way more convenient and flexible, and we’re so glad we ended up here instead! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality tattoo in Nashville without the hassle.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I were going to be in Nashville and wanted to get matching tattoos. Neither of us have ever had a tattoo so we were a little nervous about everything. We walked into Nashville Ink and Aaron Hassler came up to talk to us. He was AMAZING!!! For being nervous and scared he was the perfect person to help us. He explained everything and gave his recommendations but let us decide on size and location. He took his time and did fantastic detailed work. My daughter and I couldn’t be happier with the result. We love our matching Poppy tattoos and the experience wouldn’t have been so beautiful without Aaron. If another tattoo is in our future we would NEVER go anywhere except to Aaron. He does amazing work and is detailed and patient!

Negative experience: Came in for a very simple design as a walk in. Artist was rude. Mansplained the tattoo process to me multiple times. Every suggestion was a no, but there was no collaboration on how to get to a design we both were excited about. I fear this wasn’t about my design choice, but more about the artist’s personal capabilities to execute a smaller design. I’d pick somewhere else if you’re looking for a smaller tattoo, especially as a walk-in. Weird vibes. Weird customer service. Ended up leaving without a tattoo because of how uncomfortable I felt.

Negative experience: They deserve 0 stars, I did a walk-in appointment today with my family. We were very excited to get a matching tattoo. They gave us a tattoo artist. He was very unprofessional. He was not friendly at all. He was talking to us as if he didn’t want us to get the tattoo knowledge about a very rude very belittling very cocky and very disrespectful This company deserves zero stars. I would not recommend this tattoo shop if you’re looking for a walk in appointment.

I was thinking of a tattoo but this shop was up front and honest telling me it wouldn't work so I decided a piercing was better. Thank you for your amazing service!! Positive experience: Wade did a tattoo for me on 9/5 which was awesome. Great conversation, friendly, and gave me sizes and let me hold it up to see how it would work out. I had such a great time I went back 9/8 to get another small outline for a.memorial tattoo. Sadly this was a very different story. The first artist before they could hear my ideal told me there wasnt time and it was to much. Once he would listen he realized it was literally just a black outline of a pig. My artist didnt introduce himself, didnt care about the back story and then said "Let me draw it how I think itll look good" which is fine. I explained where I wanted it on my arm and he left. The girls at the desk even said sorry as something seemed off with the artists today. About 20 mins later he had a design and it looked pretty good and I was happy with it. He then just took off upstairs and my wife and I walked to follow him. When I asked to see it up against my arm he held it up and I explained that wasnt where I wanted it and when I asked him to move it he stated he wouldnt let me touch it. I decided this wasnt the feeling I wanted for my tattoo and moved on and thanked him for my time while giving feedback for his rudeness. The girls downstairs saw us leaving and apologized again and said the artists were being weird today and we left. Overall its a cool shop, but I think that artist( he open carrys his pistol) was burnt out with tourists or had something going on. Wade was dope as hell though with clean line work.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I went for our anniversary. Each of us getting our very first tattoo. Very spur of the moment. Aaron was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and honest through the entire process. Not to mention a killer artist. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience yesterday when I popped in to discuss a tattoo I wanted to get while I am on vacation in Nashville. I had stopped by another local shop and they were not helpful, told me my vision couldn’t be done on such a small scale and then had me look at their stock images. I left and walked down to Nashville Ink and met with Elvis (yes that’s his name) and he listened to what I wanted to do and gave me reasons why something’s wouldn’t work for the size instead of just saying no. He then took the time to draw the vision I was trying to communicate to him and we decided on the size. I’m beyond thrilled with how it turned out and will recommend your shop to anyone I know coming down and wanting to get a tattoo. Who knows, I might just came back to just see Elvis to more of what I want to get done. Thank you for taking the time with me.

Negative experience: First we called a week in advance and was told to just walk in and it would be cool. So, we showed up and they were rude but we still decided to wait and talk with an artist. The artist comes out and was like we can't do that. We could maybe do the book but it will take 3 hours and be $500 a piece all while being very rude. So we left and went elsewhere. Got an excellent tattoo the full thing including the watercolor part they couldn't do for $300 and it took 30-1 hour depending on the size as there was 5 of us and some were bigger than others. Also the artist and everyone in the shop was super nice and even stayed late to accommodate all 5 of us. Don't go to Nashville Ink they are not professional.

Fantastic experience: Aaron did my tattoo and two of my friends. We had to wait about 2-3 hours till we could get our tattoos but it was 100% worth it! He was extremely nice and very very thorough. He spent a lot of time making sure our sketches were perfect which we greatly appreciated because all the tattoos we got were very sentimental to us. The front desk ladies are super funny and I loved the entire vibe of this place! Would definitely recommend as long as you're not in a rush!

Fantastic experience: Wade was awesome. He was patient with us and did an amazing job. He laughed and joked with us keeping the mood light. He also listened to 6 of us individually on what we wanted and put it together. The plus was they took walk ins.

Negative experience: Sat for 2 hours just to be told that my design was a no go. Did not offer any suggestions- was just simply a no!. My suggestion would be to have a receptionist with more knowledge to know if an artist is able to complete a tattoo, instead of just having clients waiting for such a long period of time to be told no!

Fantastic experience: I looked online for a tattoo shop in the area and after reading reviews I always choose the option to see all the lowest star reviews I was skeptical but chose to go here anyway I will tell you I walked in the door with my wife and she was able to get tattoo sketched and completed before I could get a drink and return it was amazing I then decided to make a lap around the block and ended up right back here again to get my tattoo collectively I spent 450 here and got two tattoos by wade I would return the line work and shading was amazing the shop was clean and he was quick. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but I showed a clip art idea and the artist put his own swing into it I will praise this place and wade daily to anyone I know that is going to Nashville thanks again guys for the amazing experience. P.S I saw multiple people walk in and walk out while I was in waiting room I got a walk in appt. The biggest complaint from all the “tourist” that were in and out was “oh my I had no idea a sleeve would be more than 50 bucks” don’t worry about the 1 stars they are not real people
