Fantastic experience: Jibo is the best and he is amazing. I have sooo many tattos planned and I am only coming here from now on. I live in Casa Grande and he is worth the drive. He listened to what I wanted and I got exactly and more. Everyone is friendly and very helpful as well. He was able to squeeze me in. I am here getting my 2nd and 3rd tattoo from him today. I wanted to honor my very good friend, John, who has stood by me for over 20 years. He’s been there through every chapter of my life, even giving me away at my wedding. With him visiting and leaving the next day, it felt like the perfect moment to create something meaningful that reflects who he is to me. He’s always loved swords and knights, so we chose a sword design — a symbol of loyalty, strength, and the kind of friendship that never fades. When I told him what it meant to me, he was genuinely honored. That alone made the moment unforgettable. We saw that Sacred Tattoo had a great reputation, and the moment we walked in, up popped Jiba — FRIENDLY AS CAN BE! He helped us right away. John is very specific, and Jiba was incredibly patient and accommodating as we made a few changes. He listened, he understood, and then he did the damn thing. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE how it came out. Jibo, thank you for welcoming us into your family business and for putting so much heart into your work. This piece means more than you know — especially to John.

Fantastic experience: JIBO is the GOATTT!! Amazing service from beginning to end, I got a spider tattoo and the whole time he was so nice, and talkative to my friends and I!! Reassuring through the whole time, just a cheerful guy. Back to back service with my other friend too, and so nice he got us tacos. Such an amazing dude honestly, I’m happy he was my tattoo artist, and I’m sure if I get another I’ll be requesting him. Thank you Jibo!!

Negative experience: If it was possible I'd give this place zero stars. DO NOT listen to any of the other reviewers. I am unaware of the quality for the tattoo artists but as for the piercers please I am begging you find another place. I have permanent damage to my ear and came in with a previously pierced industrial. I came in to get my jewelry replaced and the guy tried piercing it but messed up five times. Keep in mind an industrial requires two needles so I ended up with a total of 10 failed piercings/ needles in my ear. After two failed attempts on his end I asked if I could just walk out and he said "I still am going to charge you $80 regardless." I had no previous damage to my ear with my previous industrial and after this two enormous keloids showed up. I know it had nothing to do with aftercare because I have 15 piercings myself. Ended up taking the piercing out 2 weeks after because I was still in excruciating pain. Now stuck with permanent damage. I also went back a few months later hoping this place would have redeemed itself and the main guy who works there screamed at me and cursed me out when I asked if he could do a deal since he used the wrong size piercing on my nose since I would now have to purchase two. Even when the conversation was finished he continued to curse me out until I walked out the door. Extremely rude and most unprofessional person I have ever met.

Negative experience: i went in for a septum piercing. the piercers in were rushing us and were kind of rude despite the place being nearly empty.. my piercer ended up going through my cartilage, went in with a downwards angle and left me with a crooked piercing, then decided to blame it on the deviation on my septum despite me not having any problems with my deviation the past times ive gotten my septum pierced. overall a bad experience, any reputable piercer would've admitted their mistake and fixed it

Negative experience: I came in hoping to get tattooed by Emily. She was not working so I went with Lainey ( aka Coco? ). Anyway I was not at all happy with my tattoo. It didn't come out how I pictured it. And she was very rude and stuck up towards me. So many awesome artists there and I got her.

Negative experience: I was told 20 for a nose ring and put it in for me my cc got charged 45.00 cause I tired 5 plus the jewl is huge I picked out a smaller one so I'm never coming back she refused to change my friends out and sent us a few block away that shop will get my business for our piercings and outer tattoos game me a good price

Fantastic experience: I got a small tattoo done by Jonny a couple years ago and I love how cool and professional he was. He is also very talented. I know he no longer works there, but usually all the staff is very nice since I've been there a couple of times with my cousin when she got tatted. I've also got my belly button pierced there and they were amazing, patient and polite, since I was a bit nervous.

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo in 2018 as a walk in for a spontaneous birthday gift to myself. I’ve been back just about every year since. Aaron while not there anymore did my first tattoo. Was super chill and polite. Zach B did my second, and third tattoo. He is awesome! Love the energy he brings, is super chill to work with. He made my chest piece tattoo in under two hours and it wasn’t as horrid as people said it would be. I did stray a bit and explored other artists but the vibes and people at sacred arts are really hard to top. Everyone is super friendly. Jasmine had pierced me twice and even did my daughter’s ears as well. My parents even went and got their matching tattoos here.

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular for over 6 years now, I’ve gotten over 20 piercings and a couple of tattoos. Staff never disappoints, I’ve gotten to meet everyone at this point... Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable- and walking in is always a mood booster. I’ve moved out of tucson now and still make time to drive over only come to Sacred Art, I refuse to go anywhere else. Great pricing for an even better service.

Positive experience: Ashleylynne_piercing did my vertical labret and my nostril piercing I was in and out of there maybe within 15 to 20 minutes it was so fast and easy I felt super comfortable she was open answering any and all questions I had about aftercare as well. Places it's clean and not intimidating. Both piercings cost me a total of $80 including tip 1000 percent would go back

There was no limit on the amount of piercings you’re allowed to get for the special, and the service is wonderful. My piercing artist, Louis, was especially attentive, communicative and super effective in his piercing method! I got 3 piercings and I felt little to no pain on each one! I have no complaints and love my new jewelry on my ears

You will never walk out from that place with a bad tattoo as I tell my friends. My artist Jibo was the coolest guy and his work is so amazing. He pays great attention to detail and is very professional working on more difficult tattoo placements. I just got my rib piece done from him and I couldn’t be happier with the work. Negative experience: Yeah nah they gave me spiderbites with a short bar that ended up cementing and embedding in my lip and I had to get it changed somewhere else w pliers and Yes I did aftercare and everything, this is genuinely not my fault.

Negative experience: This place is terrible. I've seen it consistency get worse over the years and when I needed a quick replacement nose ring I thought it would be easy enough...man was i wrong. The wannabe Eminem lookalike behind the counter tried selling me basic studs for $40 each and basic hoop for $25. I walked out and hopped on Amazon finding the exact ones in a set of 3 for $20. Don't go here. It's not worth the headache. Shame to see another Tucson staple ran into the ground

I originally walked in hoping to get a dot on some script that was missed on a tattoo I wasn't super happy with and he completely reworked it with some shading. Needless to say, I'm now obsessed with this tattoo. Sandro went out of his way to make sure I left happy and was so patient, personable, and capable of doing so many styles! I now have a myriad of designs I want to get and will 100% be booking all of them with him.

Negative experience: Don’t come here. They didnt even pierce even. Kaitlyn messed up my piercing and I STILL paid for it. She told me to come back next month when the swelling went down but honestly I’m really upset with it

Fantastic experience: John is THE BEST in town (of course), but in the entire country as far as I'm concerned. Extremely straight lines and attention to detail on a pretty intricate & ornate piece. And then awesome work on an old Mustang I had done in memory of my dad. He created a piece EXACTLY as I wanted, based only on my memory's eye and description and a couple similar pics online.

Fantastic experience: I was celebrating my 60th birthday on fourth Avenue. I was ready for my next tattoo walked into Sacred Art, Jibo Was there to greet my sister and I and we received matching tattoos. What a wonderful experience I will be back again already working on the next concept.❤️

Negative experience: I got my first tattoo here by Emily and I loved it and had a good experience, except it needs a small touch up. I’ve called the shop multiple times and they’ve either been rude or unhelpful. The last 3 times I called the shop I left my number and never got a call back.I've tried contacting the artist with nothing back. At this point I give up, and I’ll get it fixed later. Definitely will be finding a new artist and new shop for my upcoming 2 tats.

Negative experience: I got my bellybutton pierced here, and after a few days it started to reject. I went to a different more experienced piercer and she told me that the navel piercing I got was done incorrectly. The piercing was so high up it wasn't even in my bellybutton anymore, it was done about an inch too high, so I had to get it removed. I have always recommended this place, but this experience has turned me away for good.

Fantastic experience: Went in with my son. He has been wanting pieced ears for a long time. We decided to do this together. The girls working were wonderful. They did a great job. They made him feel comfortable, and they were so fast. He took pics of his ears all the way home. Thank you

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I got a nose ring piercing at Sacred Art. Paige put in a small bar, so my nose was swelling up. When getting a nose ring, it should be with a long bar so it could heal. I went back (Wednesday morning)later to request some help. My nose ring was inbreeding into my skin. The guy tells me, it's so swollen there's nothing he could do. (I felt like the guy didn't care if I'm being honest) I went to phoenix to a new piercing spot. Thank God I went to a new location!! They were glad to help and changed it to the right long bar. Save your money and go somewhere where they care. Paige, gave me her business card it's been a week, no reply.

Negative experience: I had my first tattoo experience ever at this shop about a month ago. I was on vacation seeing family and they recommended this place insisting that it was the best in town. I would strongly disagree. Emily did two tattoos for me and they both blew out within a few hours of getting it. She pressed so hard and one of the tattoos in particular looks so bad and smudged out that people point it out. I hate it and have cried over it more times than I can count. I mentioned several times that I wanted my lines to be thinner and more dainty and she just said “no you don’t”. I am now realizing that probably had to do more with her ability, and I wish she would’ve just admitted she couldn’t do it instead of pressing too hard and giving me two blown out tattoos that will be on my body for the rest of my life. I felt rushed, as when I didn’t make my decision on the font right away she started moving past me onto the next person. Worse experience I could’ve ever imagined and I hate what she put on my body. Had they looked how I wanted them to, I would love them. I never wanted to get a tattoo that I would regret and I can’t believe this happened to me. I am embarrassed even having to write a review like this. Hoping this review will help people make an informed decision on whether they want to gamble with something so permanent, I wish I didn’t:(

Negative experience: Got my first tattoo here like 6 years ago when I was freshly 18. The guy who worked at the front desk at the time (old dude with tattoos on his face I think his name was lenny) kept condescendingly calling me “sweetie” (I asked him to stop because it was making me uncomfortable and I literally don’t know the guy) and telling me that the specific artist I’d scheduled with “wasn’t coming in” that day after I explained to him that I was there for a tattoo appointment I’d scheduled a couple days prior. Finally, the artist I scheduled with came in and the only thing his creepy self could say in response was “sorry sweetie”. I was thinking it was going to be a nice encounter, but he, off the bat, made the encounter uncomfortable and inappropriate.

Negative experience: Sandro however the h*ll you spell his name, seen that i was young , was getting my first tattoo and imo took advantage of that. Charged 80 originally n then an extra 20 to make the heart red. I took my ring off during the what two min it took me to get the tattoo i paid him even tipped a tad and was nice although i felt he wasnt being very empathetic due to the fact it was my first tattoo! He informed me the aftercare and did great w that but only because my sister was there n i think it lightened up his mood more. Anywaysss i realize i left my ring and i call to make sure its there, it is but i couldnt pick it up that day , n when i could he wasnt working. I got my tattoo may 14 and tried to pick it up maybe a week n a half after n sandro wasnt there for me to grab my ring, which makes 0 sense like why not just put it in the register till i come? This ring was the most sentimental item i owned. My dad gave it to me after not being able to see him for damn near my whole childhood. Basically sandro threw it away after what another week of me not coming because hellooo ever think maybe we got the same off days n i havr to work to get these tattoos ? Never coming here again n dont recommend to anyone w a soul

Fantastic experience: Great experience overall! Jibo took me and my fiancé as walk-ins and absolutely smashed our cacti designs. Great conversationalist and a light touch. We plan to visit Jibo and sacred art again the next time we’re in town

Negative experience: I got a tattoo from Emily at the 4th Ave location. I've heard such incredible things about her! I guess my experience was different.. I got a tattoo on my hip, and it hurt TREMENDOUSLY. I have other tattoos, and this one was on the bone so I just thought maybe that's how it was supposed to feel. Well, it immediately started to scab and was bleeding profusely. After healing (and proper aftercare), I now have a raised scar where the tattoo is and it is incredibly patchy from the artist going wayyyy too deep/hard and permanently damaging my skin. Maybe I'm just a rare mistake made by an incredible artist, but I now have scarring forever on my body. It occasionally will hurt still! Shame, as the tattoo was very small and there is no reason it should have been difficult. Also, it has been basically impossible to get any responses to come in for touch ups :/. I don't think I even want to.. definitely going to go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I'm from Illinois. My brother and sister in law got tattoos from Jibo. I went to visit them for a week and wanted a tattoo. Jibo did a great job. Got both my grandsons names on my wrist. Very happy. Thank you Jibo. You were awesome

Fantastic experience: My wife and I were looking to get tattoos. I did some research on a couple studios and found that Sacred Art Studio was the one we were going to check out. We spoke to Jibo and explained what we wanted. Jibo showed a lot of interest in what we were wanting and double checked everything. Jibo was also very friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. Once the tattoos were completed, we were very happy with the results Jibo made sure we understood how to take care of them as well. Fantastic experience: On February 5 I went with my son and daughter in-law to be her support for her nose piercing and on a whim I got a dermal piercing. Can't remember the name of the young person who gave me the piercing but thank you so much!! You were very quick and the dermal is awesome, I LOVE IT !!!

Fantastic experience: A new piercing! Went to Dakota at Sacred Art Tattoo to get this Conch done and I LOVE IT! So dainty and will look great as is or with a hoop. She was gentle and talked me through what she was doing. I feel nervous when I cannot see the process but she was fantastic! I would highly recommend her! Great vibe too! They have a wide range of jewelry to choose from and I love how the backing is flat not pokey. It was a busy day but they gave each customer the time they needed and focused on them. 10/10 would recommend!
