Fantastic experience: I came in to get my jewelry switched out for new jewelry but they didn’t have any to buy so I ended up getting a tattoo instead. No idea what I wanted it to say. Jordan I think his name was (the owner) was So helpful and friendly with really great vibes. He went over and above to make sure I was taken care of. I understand Spanish but don’t speak it and he did his best to communicate with me with his English. Thank you so much detail tattoo I will be back . Highly recommend

Negative experience: Showed up during their posted working hours and the shop was closed. No explanation, no sign, nothing. It’s frustrating and unprofessional, especially for people who take the time to go in person. Please update your hours or communicate better with your clients.

Negative experience: Stay away - waste of time, very disappointing. They gave me a quote for a tattoo to which I agreed. After we discussed and planned the details for 30 minutes, they messaged back and forth with their boss and stepped back on their offer telling me they want more money. Very, very unprofessional. Instead of committing to their own quote and saving face, for a small tattoo they acted very shady.

Negative experience: I cannot recommend Detail Tattoo Shop at all based on my experience. First, they are extremely unresponsive—calls go unanswered, and it’s nearly impossible to get any information before visiting. When we finally went in, the shop was in terrible condition. It had a strong, unpleasant odor, like garbage or trash, which was immediately off-putting and gave a very unprofessional impression. Additionally, the piercer I wanted to see was unavailable, so I could not get the piercing I had planned. I also wanted a tattoo, but the only tattoo artist available did not speak English, making communication difficult and stressful. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of appointments, the entire experience was disappointing and frustrating. Overall, I would strongly advise against going to Detail Tattoo Shop. Their lack of responsiveness, unhygienic environment, and unprofessional staff make it a place I would not trust for tattoos or piercings.

Fantastic experience: It was super good. They used a spray to numb the area and it didn't hurt at all. The guy was really nice and really patient as well.

Fantastic experience: Jordan was awesome! I came in as a last minute walkin and he was able to help me out with a smile. I thought i just needed a earring change but realized my holes had closed completely. He ended up having to repierce me with no complaints. And kept checking to make sure I wasn't in too much pain. The shop is really cute and clean as well. Will definitely return when I'm in the area

Negative experience: This place is extremely expensive. I didn't get any service. First off it smells horrendous like dirty bathroom. The dude at the front I couldn't communicate with him I don't speak Spanish I was on a visit to miami and found this shop. He was rude, snotty and very loud on the phone. I was harass to pay in cash by a piercer. If I would get the service. I was told $100 for a nipple piercing. No thank you! Save your trip to this shop. The customer service is very bad.

Negative experience: I went to this shop to get my septum jewelry replaced. I didn’t even need a new piercing, just a ring. Before leaving, I specifically asked the piercer if both balls were tightened, since I couldn’t remember, and he told me they were. Unfortunately, within three hours, the jewelry fell out of my nose and I couldn’t find it. I went back to the shop less than 24 hours later (on a Sunday) to explain the situation. I was told the piercer wasn’t in but that I could return the next day and they would "take care of it". When I came back as instructed, the piercer spoke to the same person I had seen the day before, and I was told I’d have to pay full price again since I no longer had the jewelry. The money itself wasn’t the issue—I ended up going elsewhere and paid even more to have it replaced. What bothered me was how the situation was handled. I had been planning to get my next tattoo here, but after this experience, I’ve decided not to return, on principle.
