Fantastic experience: Visiting Miami for the weekend, went to this shop for a walk-in and stayed because Tobias at the front desk was awesome. I love when tattoo shops are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. Picked one of their flash designs and was getting the tattoo done by Roger within 10 minutes. No judgement and really friendly staff. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was walking by and remembered I needed a new nose ring. While in there I was drawn in by the feedback I received on a tattoo I felt needed to be touched up. It was really raggedy. Alex educated me on the inconsistency of the line work and also told me that I could have better coloring. She was awesome. Tobias aka Luscious, presented the BEST customer service at the front desk. After visiting, I now feel like I need to come back SOON. After sharing so many laughs and getting the most immaculate touch up on my tattoo, I highly recommend this location.

Negative experience: Roger was great, I got two piercings and it went quick and well. However, I had to remove my tongue ring due to a bump showed up by it and one underneath where it was pierced, so I had to take it out. It was also not in the middle. And the piercing I got on my ear. The ball came off the ear ring and now I just have a back, stuck in my ear with nothing sticking out on the front.. I feel like I wasted my money, which is completely not fair to me. I cannot return to the shop as I was just visiting Miami.

Fantastic experience: Had my septum and a microdermal done here — two piercings at once, and honestly it was amazing. Way less painful than I expected, almost painless, and not scary at all (just a tiny bit for the nerves). The result looks very aesthetic. It’s not perfectly symmetrical, but that’s because my nose itself isn’t perfectly straight — and that was explained and handled really thoughtfully. Everything was done carefully and beautifully. I’m super happy, very satisfied, and would 100% recommend. Thank you for such a great experience

Fantastic experience: Was overnighting in Miami and wanted to get a quick tattoo. I called ahead to check if I could come before closing (9 PM) and they said yes. When I got there, Tobias was super helpful in helping me choose what to get and patient while adjusting the sizing. Roger, the artist, did the tattoo in about five minutes. It was a simple word piece, but he still took the time to chat and even asked about my home country after Hurricane Melissa caused considerable damage in Jamaica. I definitely plan to come back for my next tattoos!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, my visit was a disappointing learning experience. I went in for a nose piercing and was given a few jewelry options to choose from. After I picked one, I moved on to the piercer, the process felt very unprofessional. He seemed unsure of what he was doing, and after about 10 minutes of trying to force in the piece I had selected, he told me it was too short and needed to be changed. He ended up piercing me again and had to run to the front to grab a different piece himself. It was my first time getting a nose piercing, so I trusted the process, but I left with a piece I didn’t choose and a really poor experience overall. Three days later, even after following all the aftercare instructions exactly, the jewelry started to sink into the hole because it wasn’t the right size for my nose. I had to go to a local shop to have it fixed by another professional, which only made it clearer how bad my experience at Empire Ink really was. Even the pricing was way higher than other reputable shops (my fault for not researching more beforehand). I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for piercings.
