Fantastic experience: MERE is the most talented and warm-hearted person. She has become one of my favorite people on earth. She takes her time, pays attention to detail and just an overall joy to be around. I completely trust her artwork and creative eye. An appointment with her feels like spending time with a friend!

Fantastic experience: The studio was very clean and comfortable. Eddy was my artist and he did a phenomenal job! I would recommend him to anyone looking to get a tattoo. Check out his work @eddygtattoo on Instagram. My only complaint is the parking. There is limited parking (not the shops fault) but plan ahead and get there early to find a spot.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here with Katie. I got my septum pierced, it was pretty quick and maybe a 3/10 on pain for me personally. She explained things well and answered any questions I had - she seems very knowledgeable about her stuff and was overall pleasant to experience! I haven’t gotten pierced in ages, so I may be out of the loop, but the price was a little on the steeper side of what I googled the average septum piercing to cost. I will say I was happy to pay a higher price point for the clean shop, friendly and fast service, and quality of piercing! I can’t think of anything more to add, but I’m thoroughly pleased with my experience!

Fantastic experience: This is my third tattoo from Tats and Snacks, aka Tony Maxwell. He does the most beautiful flowers. I also have a wonderful time because I am a talker and he is hysterical. I also got my first piercing (other than my traditional lobe holes) this time from Katie. She is the nicest lady. She’s very thorough and made sure I understood how to take care of my new flat piercing.

Fantastic experience: It's no wonder they're rated the best tattoo studio in Fort Worth, I've been to a few and they are light-years ahead of the competition. The space is always clean and the staff and artists are very helpful with everything from scheduling to the final product. They are a bit pricier than other studios around, but for a piece that stands out against all others, its well worth the additional cost.

Fantastic experience: Katie did my daughter’s original piercing and was so patient and kind with my anxious 6-year-old. She used numbing cream, which made it almost painless. We came back for resizing and Alex was just as wonderful—patient, helpful, and showed me how to use clear spacers for sports. Can’t say enough good things about this duo!

Fantastic experience: Katie is an excellent piercer! She’s very knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable. I got my nipples and helix (I think). The nipple doesn’t hurt anywhere NEAR as bad as people say. I have a semi low pain tolerance and a fear of needles so trust me! Just breathe. I will be back to deck out my ears with her soon!

Negative experience: Set an appointment a week in advance and had communicated the best I could on my end about the design I wanted as well as all the information about it then was told that my appointment would cover the final design and any modifications as well as the actual process of getting the tattoo done, just to walk in and repeat the information that I had already covered all over again and told that I was going to have to schedule a different appointment for everything that was supposed to happen today. Extremely unprofessional

Fantastic experience: It’s a really nice place, with a great atmosphere and good music. I spent most of my day here yesterday with Diogo. He created a one of a kind masterpiece for me. After 9 hours of tattoo time, this is the result. I couldn’t be happier, but be warned: the cleansing foam will hurt worse than the tattoo! All the artists there are friendly and will come by to see what you are getting done and chat with you. Plus, you get to see their work as well, and man are these some talented artists! I still recommend Diogo though. I definitely won’t be going anywhere else to get more work done.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with Javi While I actually liked the design he came up with, I felt very rushed during the process. I told him I needed some time to think about the design since it wasn’t what I was expecting, but instead of being understanding, he kept pressuring me to make a decision. He even said he didn’t have time to waste and would rather work on other clients and projects. He also didn’t mention his availability or offer any open days for me to think it over. That came across as really unprofessional and dismissive. Getting a tattoo is a big decision, and an artist should respect that, not make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them for wanting to take your time

Fantastic experience: The piercers here are AMAZING! I had my eyebrow pierced here a few years ago & it healed perfectly. A few days ago I got my labret pierced at another tattoo shop & the bar they put in was far too small and the jewelry was embedding in my lip. I came to dark age hoping they could help & they sure did!! UGH my lip feels so much better. THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this shop. So much talent in one place. Rowan is our family favorite but everyone there that Ive met has been great. Very clean and strategically laid out. With modern amenities. My husband found this place a few years ago when we moved back after his Navy career and we haven't looked back since. We always recommend this shop and especially Rowan. But the other artists that I've seen there are amazing artists as well. Limited on-site parking, so get there early enough to get a spot, worth the wait for them to open.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed this place and the time I got to spend here. Everyone was so friendly and the art that these tattoo artist do are just amazing. Stephen has an amazing eye for detail and he will be the only one I will be having do more work on me if I can. Will be coming back for more work. Had a cover up done and couldn’t be more happier with the job and detail that was put into it to have it covered up. So thank you for that because I’m beyond happy with my cover up tattoo. Just wish there was more better parking but can’t hit them on that one.

Fantastic experience: I took my 5 year old daughter to get her earlobes pierced. Studio is super clean. They used a numbing cream and explained aftercare with a child coloring sheet and detailed parent instructions. Also had a prize for kids afterwards. It was a very positive experience for me and my daughter and I would highly recommend

The staff are all nice and welcoming, as well. It’s intimidating making the first leap for your first ink, but Tony is so talented and was so easy to talk to throughout the entire process. Fantastic experience: We got our 10 year anniversary tattoos at Dark Age with Karen. She was so nice and easy to talk to. The appointment process was smooth and we were able to book 2 days before, I do wish there was a way to pay the deposit electronically than just give the girl my card over the phone. The Studio was incredibly clean, amazing atmosphere, only downside is parking but honestly its Ft. Worth, that's pretty normal. We definitely will be back!

Fantastic experience: Decided last minute to get my septum repierced while in town for the day. Googled “best piercings in Ft. Worth” and Dark Ages popped up. Went to visit - the front lobby is super clean, receptionist was really nice. The piercing area was well lit and very clean. I picked out my jewelry, and the lovely blonde lady piercer (I forget her name!) explained the whole procedure and aftercare. The piercing was super quick and almost painless (I might be biased, I have a LOT of piercings). I’m really happy with it, and would absolutely visit again.

I love how professional and clean everything is I was also nice everybody else get tattoos as well while I was getting 1 it was also nice to watch some football and it was also nice to look at those big screen TVs in there!
