Fantastic experience: I went to get pierced and Kal was so great. Very kind and personable. I ended up experiencing an allergic reaction after 6 weeks and Kal immediately responded and helped me so many times. I came back in the shop and got my issue resolved. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Beware: BAIT & SWITCH SHOP ⚠️. Also to Arlington Ink, this is not a fake review, I’m under a different alias for privacy reasons . I called not once but TWICE on the phone to inquire about 2 lip piercings and the receptionist acted clueless even after I was descriptive as possible. How are you going to be a receptionist and don’t have a clue about what piercings ya’ll do there ? Maybe they were new. I’ll give them some grace if they were. When I inquired about the price on the phone, the receptionist claimed $80 for both lip piercings, which was perfect for me. When I arrived there, everyone’s vibe was off including the receptionist and suddenly the piercer came to me and said the piercings were now $100. I was confused and replied “I was told they were $80 on the phone”. The piercer then pops their head in and says “it’s okay because other shops charge $200 or more for them”. Okay… that might be true but that’s not what ya’ll told me on the phone lol. Plus that’s bs, there’s a shop I found after this that actually charges $80 for them. I was a little disappointed and ticked off about how they switched up the price on me like that. I don’t know if it was because I looked younger than my age, came by myself or what. But after looking at the reviews , this isn’t the first time they’ve switched up the price on people . Very unprofessional. Please change your prices on ya’ll’s website and agree on a price if that’s the case. However, I thought about it for a second and got them anyways because I was excited to get them and fortunately had the money. As I walked in the room, the piercer made a few offbeat comments about the lip piercings I already had & my body.They also made a smartass comment when I asked a simple question about if they used clamps when piercing because for me, clamps can be a tad uncomfortable. I didn’t mind if they used them btw, I just wanted to not be caught off guard. I was just trying to make conversation as well . I was running on adrenaline and was nervous too which I think they took advantage of to make snide remarks and it made me a bit uncomfortable. I responded the best way I could, two needles are going through my body and I was in a vulnerable position . After they were done piercing me, they just handed me a sheet of paper (it was an aftercare sheet) BUT didn’t take the time to go through aftercare with me and what to expect with the piercings (healing time, downsizing) . I know I have a lot of lip piercings already but I just felt rushed. I don’t expect people to kiss my feet but it was giving “here damn” and “give me my money & get out of my shop”. No cleaning solution or aftercare was offered after either which I thought was odd. Maybe they didn’t offer it or assumed I already had some idk. Work on customer service skills & have concrete pricing. I understand prices change but the random price change , attitude, the vibe , and unwarranted comments left a bad taste in my mouth. A lot of Arlington piercers seem to have bad egos it seems.

Negative experience: Money Pinchers , Literally Got A Face Dermal Dec 4 which is priced at $60 , used the atm took out $80 , told the piercer I Wanted To Buy The Cleanser For It Which Is Ten Dollars , Gave Her $80 After The piercing Sat In The Lobby For Anither 10 minutes only for them to ask me What I’m Waiting On Then The Piercer Goes To Say I Was Giving Her a Tip with The Extra Twenty Dollars Something I Never Agreed On . Me Not Wanting To Argue Just Paid An Extra Ten For The Cleanser. she Literally Stole $20… Then Anither Experience The Phone Call , I Called To See About Dermal Tops N Switchin It Out , I Was Told On The Phone I Could Just Pay $20 For A Dermal Top There N Get It Swapped Out For Free , When I Walk In , It Switches To $20 for The Dermal Top and $20 for The Unscrewing Of The Dermal . I Had A Bad Experience My First Time Coming … If pinching Money Is More Important Than Actually Having Customers I Will Not Take My Business not Money Here Anymore.

Fantastic experience: Went Wednesday night for an eyebrow piercing and for sure was worth it, had Kal as my piercer and they did an absolute wonderful job! Not much swelling nor bruising, as well as the placement is good too, they were really nice, super clean as well as a good person to have talk and joked with overall, definitely would recommend them if you're nervous and need that laugh n chatter to feel get your mind off of it.

Fantastic experience: Oh my GOD I cannot recommend Kal enough! I had to reschedule due to car issues and they were so incredibly accommodating and kind. I got a double eyebrow piercing and it is so symmetrical and cute. The environment was clean, professional, but I still felt completely relaxed. If you have had bad experiences with piercers before, Kal will not be one of them. Will 100% be going back for my next piercing :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve now had eight piercings done with Kal and I seriously won’t go to anyone else! She’s the perfect mix of professional and chill. Each time, she has made me feel super comfortable and has worked around my major dislike of needles. She keeps everything calm and easy, and somehow makes the whole experience fun. I’m totally hooked at this point and tell everyone I know to go see her! The shop is clean and inviting but still allows for privacy. Everyone I have interacted with at the front desk has been knowledgeable and personable.

I used to have an eyebrow piercing but it was pierced way too low, and didn't match up with the shape of my eyebrows (I shave my tails so my natural eyebrows are very short) Kal pieced it exactly where I wanted it!!! Never even bruised up at all, and it's only been about 2 weeks, and it doesn't even hurt!!! Kal is so kind and HILARIOUS and has a great welcoming attitude! Super quick too, and was in and out in about 30 minutes! Wish I could get more piercings, but 100000% recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Went and got my vertical lebret done and it was so easy! They got me in right away as a walk in, the piercer was so sweet and good at keeping me calm. My piercing looks so good and so far doesn’t hurt much at all:) The piercing itself was a 4/10, didn’t hurt too bad and was over with pretty quickly. Overall I had a great experience going!

Positive experience: I got my septum pierced by Kal a little over 2-3 weeks ago. The vibe of the shop is very cool. There was a small wait, completely understandable and I was a walk-in, so I had no problem waiting. Kal’s station was clean and sanitary. They were very kind and social-able. My issue lies with the piercing itself. Kal told me the most painful part would be the clamp. I didn’t realize til later that where they felt in my nose to pierce and where they did pierced were in 2 totally different places. I don’t remember Kal checking the placement of the clamp. I teared up due to the pain and my vision was blurry, so when Kal asked if I liked it. I said yes, from what I could see. Plus it was already done and I couldn’t have it fixed then and there if I didn’t. I noticed as it was healing, it looked too low and looked like it could have been migrating forward. But I thought maybe swelling was the cause. I was unsure if it was healing properly and thought it would be best for it to be looked at. I went to a different shop (I am an anxious person and I don’t like telling people that they possibly did something wrong) and they were shocked and upset for me at the placement. They said it was too low and crooked. They also normally charge for removing jewelry, but the piercer I spoke to said she wasn’t going to charge me because she just wanted to help. I also told the piercer that Kal told me the worst part would be the clamp. The piercer looked at me very confused and said that the clamp shouldn’t be painful. When the jewelry was removed, I was told I would have to wait 4 weeks for it to heal and be redone. I understand that septum piercings are hard to be precise at. But my piercing somewhat felt rushed and not checked multiple times if it was in the correct place. I will say it did seem like Kal was distracted in trying to keep the conversation going, which I do understand not wanting to have silence, but I would have preferred to not have this issue and felt like it could have been avoided.

Fantastic experience: I have gotten all my piercings from this location for 2 years now and I’ve never had any issues with any of the staff. All my piercings have healed amazing and this is the only place I trust and take all my friends

Negative experience: I’m sure they have better days. But the two times I’ve been here whoever they have running the front desk most definitely should have been in the back. I got my lips pierced, which I will not lie, another shop near here told me it was done with a bad needle (which I don’t believe to be true) and the girl piercing my lips did a good job. She was nice and friendly, she let me look at everything before putting holes in my face so I enjoyed that. Then it was the front desk guy who made the rest of the service bleak. I wasn’t aware this place was cash only so he pointed me to the ATM, which is cool I guess. And he just took my money and that’s it. Literally took my money and turned around and walked away, and I get customer service gets tiring, but even an unenthusiastic “have a nice day” is 100% ok with me. Then I came back for hoops, which no one told me it was a bad idea since my piercings were relatively new and I followed the healing time on the sheet they gave me and lip piercings definitely need more than a couple months to heal. He got em for me and it was the same bleak and emotionless encounter…not to mention the hoops he gave me weren’t even for lips ( they looked wwaaayy to thin to be proper lip rings) then he took my money and just stood there. All in all, the only good experience I got was with my piercer. I would be a regular customer if this place had jewelry I can get..and if the service wasn’t so cut throat.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. I came in Sunday for an appointment with Nick. He was ready and had a amazing design from the random pictures that I sent him as inspiration for a cover up. He is a super chill and the set up his has in his space makes you feel comfortable while he is working on the tattoo. You can definitely tell the artist at shop have high standards with their work. Fantastic experience: My husband and I came in to get our names tattooed on each other. Not everyone is able to have nice crispy lines when tattooing names. Let’s just say Nick did any amazing job. He is professional, knowledgeable, listened and delivered!!! Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: The guy went too deep on me and now I have blueish tint around my tattoo. At first I thought it was bruising, so I just let it heal, but after it healed the tint of blue never went away. Do not go to Julian G. if you go to Arlington ink.

I was planning on getting a belly button piercing (top navel), but I was informed that my anatomy would probably cause it to reject. The honesty and professionalism was greatly appreciated. I ended up getting my second ear lobe piercings. The piercer, Nick, was very nice and it’s clear he does care about his customers. He asked me if I felt alright and if my piercing looked in the proper location. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Positive experience: I decided to go there for a piercing because of the good reviews. The vibe just felt kind of off in there. I thought it was strange that they only accept cash or CashApp. The piercer did their job and then I left. I thought I would maybe be given after care instructions or something, but nothing. I don’t know, the entire thing kind of turned me off. I don’t think I will return there again.

Negative experience: Hey, so I was rejected at the door immediately. Disgusting. I was not greeted. I was not welcomed into the establishment. I was treated with poor customer service and discriminated against because I have children. There is no notice that people with children are not welcomed. There is a sign that states customers under 18 aren't permitted, however I am my children's legal guardian and having children that weren't running around, acting chaotic, or being a nuisance in any way whatsoever should not have been grounds to refuse service. I was asking about jewelry for a piercing, nothing more. Poor handling of any kind of business, especially one of this nature in which the very core is CUSTOMER SERVICE! So single moms and dads, save your money support better people.

And my tattoo is way better than I could’ve ever imagined I’m so In love with it. I showed him a piece I wanted and not only did he nail it he went above and beyond what I expected. He literally listened to what my vision was and created a masterpiece! Also he was not heavy handed at all which made the experience that much better! I literally could go on and on about his artwork, the professionalism, the cleanliness, just everything! All In all I would highly recommend him for all your tattoo needs! Fantastic experience: I always recommend my friends to come here. I’ve gotten all of my piercings done here, the piercers are very professional and definitely know how to calm you down if you’re nervous! The artist are hospitable and they give great ideas on your tattoo I always value the opinion of my service provider. The shop is always clean and the staff is friendly. Fantastic experience: Here at Arlington Ink about to get my first ever nose piercing and my belly button possibly re-pierced!! The receptionist and staff for super professional and welcoming.
