Fantastic experience: Mel is honestly a gem, she’s done a number of tats for me over the years including a freehand vining plant on my wrist when she was an apprentice and hadn’t done too many plant tats yet. she continues to amaze me with her work and my half sleeve (yet to be a full sleeve) is probably my most complimented piece. The time and precision she uses in her work is to be matched, she not only helped me design my sleeve but helped placement fit with the natural movement of my elbow and wrist. I couldn’t recommend her more x (eye and hand incorporated in the sleeve in pic are by another Dunedin local tat artist not Mel)

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Mel at Temperance Tattoo enough. She’s done an amazing piece on my partner and the realism work is honestly next level — the detail is unreal. On top of that, Mel is super professional and has a really great manner about her, which makes the whole experience comfortable from start to finish. After seeing the work she’s done, I’ll definitely be booking in with her myself once I’ve finalised my design. If you’re looking for high-quality realism and an artist who knows her stuff, Mel is the one.
