Fantastic experience: I came today for my second eyebrow piercing as my piercing today as mine usually rejects ( it was my fault the first time) , the lady doing the piercing work was so lovely as usual really quick clean and smooth service she’s excellent at what she does and couldn’t be happier :) i’d definitely recommend!

Negative experience: I went here and I think they are very rude and the work is mediocre and inadequate considering they have the cheek to ask for so much .. also very cheeky

Fantastic experience: marta is seriously the only person i trust with a needle anywhere near me. like at this point she’s done almost all my piercings and i just keep going back because she’s that good. she’s super patient too...especially when i start getting nervous and overthinking my life choices. she always talks me through it, never rushes, and somehow makes the whole thing feel way less scary than it should be. if you want someone kind, steady, and actually good at what they do, marta’s the one. i literally wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Negative experience: i went here back in july to get an industrial piercing. i was met with hostility straight away by the girl at the desk and she told me in a very rude manor that i don’t have the right anatomy for the piercing. she barley looked at my ear, gave it one glance and told me to leave. (i just got this piercing yesterday by a different place and he told me he’s never seen a more perfect ear for it) my sister was in on monday after having an appointment booked for a month for a tongue piercing and she was met with the exact same hostility by the same woman and was turned away instantly. (once again, she went to a different place in limerick city, bullmans, and got it done with no issues) i was given the impression that this woman is just lazy. and doesn’t want to do piercings she can’t be bothered doing even though it is her job. a friend of mine took my sisters booked appointment on monday and got her nostril pierced, which surprisingly the woman did, but she was telling me that the piercer was complaining about how thin her nostril skin was the whole time and how she was just hostile. i went through the instagram page and im assuming the woman is marta. i hate to leave a review like this but the whole thing just doesn’t sit right with me.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service, the piercer (miss Marta) made me feel so comfortable and was very helpful in helping me find pretty, and easy to remove jewelry that would fit my ear. She was very patient and helpful, and showed me how to close the jewellery for when I want to change it. I got these two beautiful pieces of jewellery today and I am very happy I recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Place is spotless, great energy and the attention to detail by Jake on tattoos is absolutely incredible. He had giving me some of my favorite more detailed fine line tattoos, even other studies I've been to since always point out one tattoo that he did and compliment it. He gave me these tattoos a while back, but another artist I went to recently once again complimented his work and I was reminded to come back and let others know that I completely recommend this place, and Jake, for tattoos

Negative experience: I had my bridge pierced around August last year, the experience was awful. The piercer pierced it way too close to the surface. She also blamed me for squinching my face which led me going back to her to get it checked out because from first look it was wonky. Went back a week later and it was still the same and completely rejecting but I wasn’t 100% sure as I’m not a piecer myself to know if I was right. She said it was wonky because I squinched my face and then proceeded to say if I leave it with time it will heal and fix itself. It’s a normal reaction for anybody to squinch their face when getting a piercing or any type of pressure into their body. She’s completely unprofessional. Any professional piercer would know how to deal with it and what to expect. She clearly didn’t. I got it repierced by a proper professional piercer. She clearly isn’t professional in doing bridge piercings, she shouldn’t be doing them on people, it’s a waste of time and money for others.

Negative experience: Shite service. Cancelled 30 mins before appointment after travelling for it . Said would call back to reschedule and never did. If minus stars was an option it would be deserved

Negative experience: Me and my friend were looking to get a tiny tattoo each I walked in and asked politely if there did walks. I’m not sure if it was the owner or employee but he looked me up and down and said “not now anyway” and gave me a dirty look i myself work in customer service and have never met anyone so rude I’m not someone to leave a bad review but was very unprofessional safe to say we didn’t get any tattoos in Limerick !!

Negative experience: The hygiene level is amazing in that place but that is it. I got a nose piercing there and the piercer told me to use “hibiscrub” which is basically chlorhexidine. I developed a bump and it gradually kept getting worse and I didn’t understand why because I am taking proper care of it and it is not my first piercing so I knew all the do’s and dont’s. I went back to him to ask for advice and he mansplained to me how to go through the healing phase again and that he didn’t know what to do and that it was up to me to keep it or take it out. I decided to go to another piercer for advice and they told me that: 1. I have to keep the piercing for now because it is infected and to use warm saline soaks and that would take care of it (and it did) 2. The ring used for the piercing is way too thin for a new piercing which will cause movement even if I was careful 3. To never use hibiscrub on a piercing again because it’s not for piercings it’s literally to clean hands before surgery So yeah never going there again for a piercing :)

Negative experience: My experience here was just awful from start to finish, the piercer was incredibly rude and condescending and knocked my nose ring out while piercing my septum and when I couldn't find it, she didn't bother trying to help. my piercing fell out less than a week later, and she wanted another 20 euro after I already paid 55 to try and put it back in. Avoid if you value good customer service.

Fantastic experience: Got my septum pierced by the lady who works there and she was absolutely lovely! Very professional, nice and explained everything and even replaced the ball on my piercing after i lost it haha she was amazing and the place was very tidy and clean and the atmosphere was friendly as well! Negative experience: So I hate writing this but I got my first tattoo done here by the owner a few years ago. My tattoo is now a keloid scar and is completely raised, bumpy and bad quality. I have been to other tattoo artists and doctors who all said this is only cause by a tattoo artist being rough, reckless and rushed. And he was the owner, as he kept telling me! He also didn't make me feel calm, he knew it was my first time and it was so rushed (again, causing the permanent scarring). My friend also got one done by the same guy and at the same time. Hers is also a bit raised and bumpy but not as bad as mine. She has 10 more tattoos which are completely flat so you can really see and feel the difference. For the first few years I thought it was normal for my tattoo to be raised and bumpy! :( Until it started to really hurt years later and I went to my doctor about it. I'm too scared to get another tattoo in case it ends up like this again and I had to warn others because it was honestly such an awful experience and now I'm stuck with this scar and still hurts and itches 4 years later and I've been told it'll always hurt.

Fantastic experience: Everytime I go to Living Art I get a very warm welcome. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I am currently getting a curated ear done and each time I leave wanting another piercing. I would highly recommend any one to go here and now am researching what tattoo to get for my first one, because I know I will he in safe hands. 5 star service and very reasonable prices also.

My boyfriend has a tattoo from them and I have to say I'm very impressed. The shop in immaculate and they do business properly. No underages etc. Plus the cleanliness from this shop just exceeds any other tattoo shop I've ever been to

Fantastic experience: I had my nose pierced on Tuesday and the piercer was very friendly and tried to comfort me as much as he could (I was a chicken). He explained everything very thoroughly and went through all after care instructions with me carefully, as well as some tips and guidelines for in the future when it is healed. Piercing is well done, clean, etc. Would definitely go back for another piercing. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Living art, what a fantastic place to go to. The environment and staff of the studio are extremely sanitary, friendly and professional. They’re all very knowledgeable in what they do, so don’t be afraid to ask any questions.

Negative experience: Absolutley horrific treatment recieved from the "woman" working here. Never been treated so terribly in my life i would seriously seriously think twice before going here. So confescending and belittling doesnt care about the customers concerns at all. The two other men working here are not at all the problem but i am not letting her away with her disgusting attitude. Am making it my mission to make sure everyone knows how disgraceful her behaviour was and will DEFINATELY be recommending people steer clear from her and the buissness as long as shes working there.

Fantastic experience: I was in Ireland on vacation and walked into Living Art hoping to get some ink done while there. The owner was very friendly and helpful and they drew up my design right away and got me in and out in no time! The work was excellent and I highly recommend them if you are in the area. Prices are a bit higher than the States but my artist did a great job and I would definitely go back. Sorry guys, I forget everyone's name but thank you!
