Prices are very fair, and we LOVE our ink. All of the artists made us feel welcome - Joey and Sunny are exceptionally talented artists and are great to work with. Some shops can feel intimidating, especially visiting from a different country. Leesa was very welcoming, kind, and personable. We loved them so much, we made a second round of appointments for more flash on our last day in Limerick. We highly recommend, and we will be back for more. Excited to plan for bigger project next time!

Fantastic experience: Had a full day session with Joey at Allstar Tattoo in Limerick and it was an amazing experience. The shop is beautiful and super clean — you feel safe and well taken care of the whole time. Joey, Leesa, and Ross were all incredibly friendly and made the atmosphere feel really welcoming. Joey was really attentive to my ideas and made sure both tattoos came out exactly how I wanted. He took his time with the stencil placement to get it just right, and I never felt rushed. I was treated with so much kindness and respect throughout the day. The tattoo quality is top-tier — super clean lines and great detail. A few days later, after I accidentally sweated off my second skin, they put a new one back on for free without hesitation. They even gave me tips on nice places to check out as a tourist. Couldn’t recommend this place more — professional, talented, and genuinely good people.

Ross completely redesigned and gave me the tattoo I originally wanted. 3 generations of my family now go to All-star for their work

Fantastic experience: Went back to Allstar as a walk in after having gone to them for a previous tattoo. Joey was an absolute dream, he was so accommodating with my alterations to the drawings and stencil placement changes and he did a beautiful job on this little tattoo. €150 for this tattoo but honestly worth every cent, plus a lovely guy - chatted away through the whole tattoo without a bother! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Allstar for a great tattoo experience! (note they do only accept cash so make sure you go to an ATM beforehand)

Fantastic experience: Took my mam for her first tattoo at 63 to All Star and couldn’t be happier I’ve had 9 out of the 10 of my tattoos done here and wouldn’t go anywhere else so I knew she wouldn’t be disappointed. Great atmosphere Leesa is so nice and so easy to deal with. Ross made my mam feel so comfortable and her tattoo is unreal the detail is insane. Fantastic experience: Amazing atmosphere, feel extremely welcomed the second I step foot I. The door. I've had all my work done here since I started getting tattoos 2 years ago. My man Ross is an absolute legend. Every tattoo I've had from him heals amazingly and quickly, great guy to chat to too. And Joey my guy is absolutely killing it, definitely up and coming. I put faith into him when he was an apprentice and couldn't have been happier with the results I got from him, now being full time he's just coming on leaps and bounds. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a first tattoo or even just looking for a new artist.

I've had two tattoos done here and it is now my go-to in Ireland. Walk in's are also possible which is handy for those of us who get inked spur of the moment.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience at all star ink. We were in Ireland on vacation and I wanted a tattoo did some research and found all star. Set up an appointment with Leesa who was great with communication even with us being in Texas. There were 4 of us getting tattooed thought that it would take a few hours to get all 4 done but Ross got all of us done in a little over 2 hours. Ross was awesome and fast but amazing quality. I would pay the money just to fly back over just to get more tattoos from Ross. The atmosphere of the shop was very eclectic and made us feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo recently. Had been planning to get a small birdcage above my ankle with four birds released. I ended up with a much larger tattoo because it allowed for more detail. Ross did an amazing job. I honestly think I have the best tattoo in the world. Absolutely love it and would recommend allstar ink any day of the week.

From my initial visit a week prior, when I booked my appointment with Lisa, to the moment I walked out of the shop after my appointment, the welcoming atmosphere put me at ease immediately. The quality of the work was nothing short of stellar. Charlie worked with me on the idea, and the placement of the tattoo. On top of all this, we had a great conversation from start to finish, filled with humor. He showed a genuine interest in his clients' hobbies and interests. The time flew by, and the next thing I knew, the tattoo was finished. Both the customer experience and the quality of work were nothing but sublime. All Star goes above and beyond to ensure every moment in the shop is second to none. I cannot praise All Star Tattoo enough for the time and effort received today.

My tattoo healed well and quickly and looks as good seven weeks on as it did fresh. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Coming to Ireland for the first time 3 of us wanted to get a tattoo to celebrate. Not only were they one of the only studios to reply to our emails from back in Australia, they communicated with us every step of the way. Upon arrival, the receptionist Lisa was bright and cheerful, professional and welcoming. All the artists were friendly and interested in us and our travels. They rearranged their schedule so we could all get done at the same time. They are a very busy shop and the phone rang non stop, but the level of professionalism never changed. Their line work was exquisite and we were all super pleased with our pieces. I would thoroughly recommend and definitely return.

Fantastic experience: Today I got my first tattoo the experience was excellent from start to finish. From the minute I walked in I was made feel calm and relaxed. I got the tatoo on my foot which I've been told is quite painful but it fact it was just a mild discomfort. I had Charlie who made me feel very at ease and he ensured I was 100 per cent happy with the stencil before the tatoo took place. Thank you all very much.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. If you are unsure, don't be. First, I had multiple laser sessions with Leesa. She is knowledgeable, professional and just the warmest person - the chats are so good, you won't even notice the laser! I've got three cover-ups from Charlie Black, couldn't be happier. Immaculate tattoos, great craic. Gave me advice and helped me pick ones that would work. Alex looked after my appointment booking, sorted me out when I had to change dates in the soundest way. Some brilliant advice too. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Negative experience: I got a tattoo here in February 2015 and had no idea what to expect. I came with a design I wanted and got the tattoo. I would have liked the tattooist's input on the design, but that is what it is. What I am leaving this review for, is the fact that it seems the tattooist tattooed a bit too deep on my arm, making the ink "seep" out so the lines weren't defined. I don't know much about tattoos, but that seems like a fairly easy mistake to NOT mate, so I can't leave a higher star rating for the long-term result. They did have relatively good service, but I am a little upset that the tattoo artist didn't comment on the design (two elements too close to each other, thus bleeding into each other which might be cause by the too deep tattooing) and the fact that he tattooed too deeply, which has made the tattoo less clear than it should have been.

Positive experience: I've had at least 7 tattoos here. 2 from chris nunez (excellent). 1 from oliver peck (shabby). 2 from paul (v good). 1 from an apprentice (i believe) think he was N Irish (Good). And One terrible one from a full time artist I dont remember the name of (i think he's long gone though). Also had tattoo removal here. That was what it was, no complaints there.

Fantastic experience: I first got a tattoo from Ross in All Star Ink 12 years ago which I was extremely happy with, then in the years that followed I got a few other tattoos around the world as I traveled and lived in other countries. The tattoos that were done by Ross 12 years ago look better than the tattoos that were done within this time by other tattoo artists, his tattoos have stood the test of time with the lines being intact and the colors still vibrant with no running of ink. Also within this time period I got a tattoo I wasn’t happy with, I didnt put enough thought into it and although it was well done I realised after it was a common piece and wanted it changed. I went to other shops and they said they could cover it up this way or that, I showed it to Ross and he said that it cannot be covered up the way I wanted and the only way forward was to accept it or treat it with a laser, then either leave it or tattoo over it. I expressed my concern about lasering my skin and Ross gave me the confidence and assurance to go ahead with the laser. All Star Ink have a laser machine in house, Lisa in the shop did the laser sessions, she went very low intensity with the laser at the start slowly building it up every session. I had very little discomfort and no scarring. What was great was that I could show Ross my progress before each session, so I only had to do just enough laser sessions to get a cover up. Lisa took her time with this process with a conservative schedule even recommending waiting 6 months from my last laser session before getting the cover up. Ross then gave me a very nice unique traditional style tattoo over the top which I am extremely happy with, you would never know there was a tattoo underneath it. All Star Ink is a very professional tattoo shop and in my opinion one of the best if not the best in Ireland. If I had an idea about a tattoo design and discussed it with Ross unlike a lot of places that would take your money and try it Ross will straight out tell you no that won’t work and explain what will work, All Star Ink will only do what’s right and what will last.

First to Paul, then to ross, every single time, I've been dealt with in the highest professional manner, consultations, agreement of style of tattoo etc, my tattoos are looking fresh, like they all were only done yesterday, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, the front of house leesa is always welcoming and friendly, great advice and makes you feel relaxed. I've never felt treated any better in a shop. For people calling it pricey, you pay for high quality work from highly experienced artists, if you want a pound shop tattoo for a poundshop price then go elsewhere. You pay for what you get literally, and that's the best.
