Fantastic experience: The lads in the shop do tattoos, I’ve seen ‘em in there doin’ some of ‘em. There’s always loads of people inside there gettin’ tattoos, I’ve seen ‘em! Went in there myself once to see what was goin’ on, I was right, they do tattoos in there. Got a few in there myself, they’re fairly permanent so they’re not comin’ off any time soon. I’m extremely happy with the ones I got off ‘em. An easy five stars. Forget about any other tattoo shops in Limerick. There was even this one tattoo shop that I passed once, it was down a set of stairs, can you believe it? You’d never know what could happen to you trying to go down a set of stairs. Sands of Time Tattoo Collective are there next to Dunnes, no stairs.

Fantastic experience: I had a 24 hour layover for work and it was my first time ever in Ireland. I can’t think of a better way to have spent my afternoon. The vibe in the shop is super chill and friendly— probably the most fun I’ve had getting tatted! Anna drew the design, Paul tattooed it, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. If I’m ever in Limerick again, I’m 100% coming back for more ink‍↕️☺️

Fantastic experience: 5 weeks healed, today and so happy with my tattoo’s. Stewart is really good at listening to what the client wants while lending expert and thoughtful advice. I was comfortable and happy throughout the entire process and left feeling like I got exactly what I wanted in my head actually tattooed on my body lol. The staff and artists were all very personable and had great banter, making me feel instantly at ease. As I began my sleeve, I was blown away by the skill and precision of Stewart's work. He was able to take my ideas and turn them into a beautiful piece of art that I am proud to show off. Not only was he incredibly talented, but he also took the time to explain the process and make sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire session. Overall, I would highly recommend this tattoo shop to anyone looking for a great experience. Fantastic experience: Shop manager is very nice, as well as the guy that did my tattoo. The artist really took into consideration the design i wanted and integrated that with the ideas he had, and he was really fast at doing it. Will definitely be goin there whenever i want a tattoo!

Pa and can't forget Rose were the most accommodating people from the booking to the finish tattoo! Everyone inside there made you feel so welcome that it felt like you were sitting at home surrounded by family being tattood! Negative experience: Had a Prince Albert piercing here, the guy missed putting the needle through the first time then had another go and finally got it through. Jewellery was cheap and nasty while also being the wrong size as a result my piercing is a mess. Won’t go back again and wouldn’t recommend, numerous emails ignored. In reply to the owner; the review is correct and for Sands of Time and is a genuine review of a service received at the premises at the time, whether you offer that service now is irrelevant. What ever business arrangement you have with your piercer is your concern and not mine. The fact is I spoke with your staff, waited in your reception before having it done and went into the piercing room first on the right next to reception for the procedure. So to clarify the review is correctly for Sands of Time and for future reference please refrain from trying to discredit a review left about a service received at Sands of Time, just because you don't like it. One further note; it was Robbie who did my piercing and you have no problems excepting reviews for sands of time when it concerns other piercings he’s done. kind regards Unhappy customer

Fantastic experience: I got a septum pierced by Robbie. He was extremely nice and helpful when I requested some information. The piercing was done quickly, hygienic and it did not hurt at all. He offered me to come back 6-8 weeks later and changed the piercing as soon as it was healed. The studio looks clean and modern and the staff is easy-going, friendly and funny. I would definitely return!

I have tattoos from Paul and Stewart and loads of piercings done by Connor. I couldn't be more happier with them. I intend to go to them for my next tattoo as they are excellent at what they do, they make you feel really comfortable the second you walk in the door and are very reliable! I couldn't recommend them enough.

The time and detail that went into it just shows that In this tattoo parlour it’s about quality not how many tattoo’s you can fit in on one day. The lads are always so accommodating and make the entire tattoo experience enjoyable from the initial consultation all the way until you're walking out the door with your fresh finished tattoo. I've known the lads since they worked in Bullmans and can't fault them in any way. If you go to sands of time for your tattoo then you're guaranteed to have a great time as well as an amazing tattoo. Just be warned though Paul likes to sing and sometimes you just don't want to be serenaded with Barbie girl by a tattoo artist in the freshest kicks

Fantastic experience: Got a top class tattoo from Paul a few weeks back. The general vibe of the studio, and the lads themselves, is extremely sound and welcoming. Very good representation of Limerick city doing well for itself. Would recommend any locals looking for any art style to go in and chat, not a chance you won't leave impressed and booked in. Even if you aren't from Limerick would recommend traveling to get a spot of work from anyone in the shop. Again top class and great atmosphere from this studio.
