Fantastic experience: From the 1st email to popping in to see Lee to discuss what I would like & if it was possible with the medication I’m on, I knew I wanted Lee to do my cover up & sleeve. He certainly knows his trade, as we bounced ideas around, he kept coming up with better ideas to get what I wanted. Lee is a genuinely nice bloke & the atmosphere in the studio is very friendly. The end product is way above what I anticipated & im over the moon with my tattoo. I would thoroughly recommend Lee & the team at Heaven & Hell tattoo in an instant. I will be going back.

Fantastic experience: Heaven and Hell is an excellent place. Dan is very professional ,very welcoming and excellently skilled . He is superb in doing complex intricate designs like fine mandalas and geometric patterns, portrays and many other designs. He is always open to discuss the designs and modify them according to client expectation. This is one of the best place places you could get a nice tattoo and that is worth every penny you spend. Fantastic experience: I always leave this tattoo studio with a smile on my face and top quality tattoos. Just had a shin tattoo which was a combination of two designs I liked and Lee did an amazing job as usual, to create a design exactly as I envisaged! He is so talented and knows what will suit each area well. Lee always makes sure you’re happy with the design, placement and you end up with a beautiful masterpiece! I already have an idea for my next tattoo and there’s no where else I’d go!

Fantastic experience: First time getting a tattoo and Lee made me feel welcome and the procedure was as smooth and relaxing as you’d like!

Negative experience: Steal money from me 1- they cancel my session and keep my 100 deposit. 2- scam me on time, every half session was shorter then it should be, cca by 1 hour. 3- misinform me about total price instead 1500-2000, it was going to be 2500-3000. 4- it take them 2.5 month to send me my 450 back from cancel session and many many messages to get them..... 5- to put it together i payed 900 pounds for 2 tattoo, witch one is far from being done.... 6- edit for owner response, is very well made unfortunately its just lies.... only think what is true is Dan having Cancer cant imagine they would lie about that too.... They have only positive reviews and they looks like very nice guys, but my experience was terrible and they steal money from me and they are happy to lie about everything to protect their image, witch is understandable but doesnt make it ok . For some reason i get Hell instead of Heaven.

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of tattoos, but this is the first time I've used Lee....although I've had work done before in his studio by another tattooist. I had two large tattoos done in a day session recently and am extremely happy with them both...they look great. Lee has a lighter touch than some tattooists, so discomfort levels were lower. They are also healing really well and fast. Lee is very professional and a really nice bloke to chat to. I can highly recommend him for any work you may be considering.

Negative experience: Called on the phone to book, told me to come in at 10AM on a saturday for a little wrist tattoo I wanted, found it wasn't open. I check to find the store opens at 11 usually so I wait around till then only having the sense to leave come 11:15. No sign out front, checked the facebook. Very dissapointed.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant tattoo shop, Lee’s work is amazing.

Negative experience: I went here and had an appointment with Dan to have a customer tattoo arm band done in blackwork. I trusted that they knew what they were doing as apparently they had around 20 years experience, but when I got home I realised the linework was really badly done and wasn't anything like the initial design. I had a follow up appointment which I cancelled because I don't trust them to even finish the design. I will need to try and get it fixed and finished somewhere else or if that's not possible look into removal, but I will not be going back to this place. Wish I had not spent the money.

Fantastic experience: Just had a fairly small tattoo with my friend here today and was SO pleased with the service. Dan took every care to ensure we were getting exactly what he wanted, and the whole atmosphere was friendly and welcoming! If we get another, we will be back!

His honesty was humbling; I immediately felt at ease and as though I could really trust him. My design was super simple and tiny, but it didn’t mean he took any less care. He was patient and kind. Despite living quite some distance from Oxford, I would definitely make the journey to come back. Thank you!

Positive experience: Very good customer service. He offered to do a free touch up when my inner lip tattoo faded the first time (it faded in 3 days). However, he did not use an outline stamp during the touch up and it did not end up looking the same. I did not realize it was so different until I left the studio but I guess there isn't much I can do now. I am giving 3 stars because I really loved how it looked the first time and everyone there was super friendly but if I'm being honest, I am not very pleased with my overall results. Fantastic experience: Amazing people and amazing art work, Lee the owner is a true gent. The atmosphere is open and friendly, had such a laugh while having my 2 new tattoos. Lee advised me on the size, the scope and the detail possible with my images and the final result is just brilliant. I drove 2.5 hours each way to have my Tattoos done at Heaven and Hell.... they are the best, so its worth going out of your way to see them.

Fantastic experience: I'm a 50 something lady and I've been going to first Dan then Lee for almost 10 years now. They are always very professional and amazing at their craft. They are not the cheapest in oxford but I will say the best. I believe you get what you pay for when it comes to talent. You are able to book a time which is great ( Dan sometimes has walk in's) They both make you feel very comfortable, welcome and at ease. I have now got 11 tattoos done by these guys and will not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Lee done a fantastic job on my tattoo. Despite the fact that I had a slight issue with my booking, as soon as this was noticed Lee contacted me immediately and done everything in his power to try and sort the issue (which he did) while trying to keep all parties happy. I now won't go anywhere else or have anyone else tattoo me other than Lee. The only downside is the waiting list for appointments, but that just goes to show how good he is!

Fantastic experience: The only place I will ever go to get a tattoo done, the staff are very welcoming and very respectful to all clients and in my view make female customers feel at ease, they talk you through your design and always give you honest advice about the tattoo you wish to have done, the prices reflect the work they produce and always ensure their clients leave extremely happy with the end result, the tattoo shop is very clean and tidy. They are very experienced tattooist and their work speaks volumes... If you want a high quality tattoo this is the place you will get one done.
