Fantastic experience: saskia was so lovely to speak to and did an amazing piercing

Negative experience: Awful. Not sanitary at all, the guy was throwing stuff around and slamming cupboards, didn't respect my fear of needles at all. Also no consultation. Was my first piercing. Now learned he should've told me from the get-go a ring for a nose piercing should NOT be an option, always a flat back stud, otherwise it won't heal. And it didn't. Had to get it surgically removed after the infection was too awful. Got a permanent scar on my nose now, thanks. They even asked if its my first, which I said it is. Horrible job, really. The hole was way too small, the ring too tight, positioning was way off from where he made the dot initially. Boyfriend's piercing also got infected like hell, the angle for his industrial is way off and he doesn't have the anatomy for it at all, which the guy should've told us, but didn't. Probably so he can get the money in, 0 care for customers. Should have his license revoked tbh. Do yourself a favor and do not go there.

Fantastic experience: I came in after re-piercing my closed nose piercing myself…. Very silly! I called ahead to explain what I had done and was told confidently that it could be sorted out. I walked in and out within minutes very happy! Mick was very helpful and used an insertion needle to ensure that the hole was still there, washed it up and changed for jewellery that suited. All very quick and painless! Thank you Mick! :-)

Fantastic experience: I was a walk in on Monday. The shop was very busy but the atmosphere was great. I wanted to get 5 tattoos! Yes 5. The artist was busy until his finish time however he stayed longer and fit me in. Heri discussed my designs with me and did all of the tattoos. The atmosphere was relaxing and I felt very comfortable. Mind you it only took an hour and the pieces look amazing! So much better than expected. I was ever so grateful that Tigerlily and Heri went above and beyond to ensure that I got everything I wanted on the day. Thank you ever so much to Heri and everyone I encountered on the day :)

Negative experience: My daughter had a £50 industrial piercing. Followed all the after care as usual. 5 days later we are on our way to ENT at the JR for 24 hours of IV antibiotics.

Fantastic experience: I have been peirced here a couple times now and I absolutely love it and wont go to anyone else. The customer service here is amazing and my female peircer is so friendly and always does absolutely perfect 10/10 recommend!!! x

Fantastic experience: I was visting a friend in Oxford and we randomly decided to see if I could get in for a tattoo one evening. She called on my behalf and was told they’d be closing soon so we ran to see if they could take me in before closing. Not only did they say yes but also they would stay open bit longer for me. Reviewed my photos and I was scheduled. Artist was incredibly friendly, made the experience comfortable since I struggle a bit with needles. 10/10 recommend

Negative experience: I decided to get my piercings done elsewhere due to mixed reviews here, and was happy with who I went with. Since then I’ve popped in to Tiger Lily looking for some Threadless labrets (they don’t stock) and some plain titanium hoops. Both times I’ve been in, I’ve not felt very welcome or helped and the hoops I bought, I realised were not the gauge I’d asked for when I got home. So they’ll be going straight in the bin since presumably they are not returnable.

Negative experience: DONT DO IT. Please take what you want from this as we can all make our own opinions, but this was the experience we have had. This was not our first time at Tiger Lily. We have had piercings done here in the past (my friend had her tragus done here by a girl). I had had a few chats with Mick (owner) before. The time we were in the piercing room felt no longer than 6 minutes. But things felt very wrong quickly. At first I just assumed the piercer was less conversational and didn’t mind. I’ve had that before. Dots were placed on my friend (she later said the placing seemed anatomically incorrect and I would agree). After the mirror she said to Brandon (piercer) that she didn't feel comfortable having it done anymore. Brandon said “we don't do refunds.” and stared, not moving from right in my friend's face. She could have nodded her head forward and it would have touched his. I think it's fair if he felt annoyed (maybe a bad day?) but it felt like he was trying to make her feel very uncomfortable about it. He stared at her inches from her face (still unblinking) as she asked why not. She began to explain things (she was squirming in the seat and obviously trying to get out the way but being unable to as he was right where her legs were and he wasn’t moving still). He was still staying inches from her face as he responded, she was still unable to move away. His body language felt hostile. She was CLEARLY uncomfortable. It felt like he was being intimidating, we felt his anger. He only backed off when I stood up and spoke for her too. We had been there for a very short amount of time and no jewelry was used and no holes were made. The discomfort is not because we are ‘not used to people who don't talk much’ as Mick tried to play it off. I've had numerous tattoos and many piercings. Maybe only a couple of people were the type to conversate a bit. Mostly they've been done in silence with little to no conversation initially which I really don't mind and sometimes prefer. Realistically someone’s ’vibe’ can transcend conversation and it did. We decided to further talk to Mick (Brandon's dad and owner) and explained all that we stated here (that the time was extremely short, no jewelry had been used, only dots placed). Brandon was apparently insistent about no refunds. He was cold and unsettling. My friend was given store credit on a card but she felt completely put off from going back there and definitely had no use for the credit. Again, she too has many piercings and tattoos. It's not like this is our first experience at a place that does those things. Then Mick settled on giving my friend half a refund (£45) so as not to “slag him (Brandon ) off”. She took it as there was no other option and she was already late for a commitment. I used my own credit the following day with saskia who was really lovely and very professional. My friend came with me just to see if she could get the other half refunded for obvious sane reasons. Mick seemed very emotionally dysregulated. He claimed he had ‘lost out’ by not piercing us even though he pocketed £45 quid and we walked out with nothing. We tried to debate this but he got very defensive and raised his voice despite us talking calmly and softly. A very tall man talking to two girls, near shouting. He asked us to leave saying HE also felt uncomfortable. So we left straight away. My friend was on the verge of tears as once again that was a grown man being very emotional and irrational which is quite intimidating. The lack of customer service abilities seems to have been passed down generationally. I love to see healthy family dynamics but it comes to a point where nepotism is drastically damaging to a business. Independent businesses are unfortunately struggling currently and I understand if places need to be a bit harsher in order to sustain themselves. But that was absolutely not how to talk to people or handle situations. My piercing healed perfectly and has been placed wonderfully though thanks to Saskia. Book her through her socials and give no money to Tiger lily.

Negative experience: I've got 16 piercings and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. Rude and totally unprofessional customer service. My friend and I went to get walk in lip piercings last week the piercer Brendan was very unfriendly he didn't even greet us and made us actually quite uncomfortable. There was a major lack of communication about the procedure when marking the dots on my lips, when he showed me the markings in the mirror it looked completely wrong and I unfortunately had cold feet about the whole thing! I expressed this and and apologised to the piercer who was irritated and reluctant to accept my decision telling me I could not get a refund for the £90 I had paid! He said that it had been a waste of time and I could get a credit for piercings even though it'd been 5 minutes and was a walk in. After this interaction my friend my now felt uncomfortable being pierced by this man so we both went to get store credits. We then spoke to the owner Mick (Brendan's father) who told us there would be a female piercer in tomorrow and eventually after some discussion refunded me half if I promised "not to go slag Brendan off". We returned the next day and my friend got pierced by Saskia who was lovely and did a great job. I then asked Mick again about a refund for the other half of my payment as I had no use for the credit and making the point that there's no statement anywhere about "no refunds". He immediately got very angry with me saying "we had a deal" and he had "lost out and met me half way" even though he had payment for a service not provided! He then said that he would not argue about it and told us to leave saying we were making HIM (a middle aged man raising his voice at young women) uncomfortable!

Fantastic experience: went for a walk in for my double helix and absolutely loved it! paid for straight away and all staff were helpful when i was unsure on whether i was getting the name wrong . not sure who pierced me as i didn't get to catch her name but she explained my placement, the jewellery i could pick and let me talk her ear off the whole time she was piercing me which was really helpful

Negative experience: Went for an earring and some advice to metals that won’t react. I chose the size, then decided to switch to titanium. Only after he placed it, did I realise it was a much bigger size. Afterwards he simply told me that’s the smallest in titanium. No apology. Nice place, but more care and attention needed.

Fantastic experience: Got my nose pierced today by Brendon. He was so nice and really made sure I knew all details for aftercare. Piercing was done so quickly and effortlessly. Thanks Brendon! Tigerlily is such unique place.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I have gotten a few tattoos done here before, specifically by Heri Mova. Absolutely lovely person. Went in on Monday to get a thigh tattoo by him and he did extremely well. Loved the outcome. He was very gentle and careful that I fell asleep through the process. Definitely recommend. Also the lady and I believe the owner at the front were also very welcoming and lovely.

Negative experience: Went here last year to get my navel pierced, however the person who was piercing me never did an anatomy check before hand which caused my piercing to never heal and I've had to take it out as it started rejecting. The service was nice but I wish they properly assessed me before they did anything so I didn’t waste a year caring for a piercing that rejected and never healed :( really upsetting as I always wanted to have a navel piercing but can’t have one now.

Negative experience: Awful. As someone who has had their nose pierced before I know they are not meant to take as long or hurt as much as this did. The piercer did not know how to get the stud into my nose and had to force it in leaving my nose very irritate. The whole thing seemed unprofessional. And for £45!?

Negative experience: I came in for a walk in piercing a couple of weeks ago to get my tongue pierced which I was asked to show prove of age which was fine he starts the piercing and after the man puts the needle in my mouth the man states “ it looks like you have done that before” me and my friend laugh as we was both shocked but what he said considering my age or not it was disturbing and vile! it made the situation very uncomfortable i wouldn’t recommend

Positive experience: I had 4 piercings done here and 3 are fine. However my 4th is terrible. My cartilage has been clipped and from what another artist tells me, it will never heal as it’s a poor job.

Fantastic experience: Came for a walk in piercing and piercing change. I had a Rook done to cover some scar tissue on my ear which Brendan was very clear and professional. Calm demeanour meant I felt very relaxed. My existing Daith piercing had been done up so tight I hadn’t been able to change it in 2 years. Although tight, Brendan talked me through it after trying first with his hands then with two tongs, and to my relief, managed to get it out. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: i came here for the first time yesterday as a spontaneous walk in as i was only in oxford for the day. they managed to fit me in straight away, the tattoo artist (whose name i unfortunately didnt catch) was friendly and professional. checking in if i was happy with the placement, comfortable throughout the process etc. very laid back atmosphere, hygienic and im so happy with the tattoo. the perfect little momento for my day trip. i will admit i was a little skeptical due to some of the reviews but it was absolutely worth taking the chance and i would genuinely make the long journey again just to come here. prices are a little steep but fair, you pay for what you get.

Fantastic experience: 4 menopausal ladies booked to have tattoos. Lots of indecisiveness and faffing took place! Tsuzan, the tattoo artist was so so patient with us and kept smiling throughout his ordeal of having to deal with us. The other tattoo artist sharing the room, was also very polite having to share his space. We are all very happy with our tattoos and would recommend Tigerlily to anyone who wants a work of art done.

Fantastic experience: Great service which accommodates walk-ins, total time from walk-in to leaving 15 minutes. Quick form and payment before an almost completely painless piercing completed with needle. Double hoops put in one ear straight away, from what I gather not always possible elsewhere. 2 ear piercings is same price (£45) as one, so good value. Very clean and professional. Aftercare info and cleaning product included. Healing with no pain and seems to be good quality jewellery. Hoops are a blackened silver style but others available inc. gold. Small details done well - piercer checking position and ensuring desired hoop size for correct fit.

Negative experience: Let’s start with the pricing. You claim that £45 is “per needle,” but also say it includes both piercings. That’s a contradiction. I asked for one piercing, not two, so I expected to be charged for the single service I actually received. You had every opportunity to charge me accordingly, but instead you hid behind “industry standard” to justify charging me for something I didn’t want. That's not policy, that’s profiteering. And the idea that splitting the cost is somehow too complicated for you to process is laughable. You have a card machine. You can type in any number you like. You chose not to. Be honest and call it what it is: rigid pricing designed to squeeze extra money out of people who don’t fit into your one-size-fits-all system. Now let’s talk about the service. You completely ignored my point about how poorly the piercer handled the situation. I made a clear, simple request: pierce the right ear and match the left earring to it. Somehow that took far too long for your staff to understand, which, let’s be real, isn’t exactly advanced communication. Then the piercer proceeded to rip open a healed piercing by being careless and rough. I walked in with a healthy, closed-up ear and walked out bleeding. That’s not normal, it’s not acceptable, and it’s certainly not professional. You didn’t even acknowledge that in your response, which tells me you're not interested in improving, just covering your backs. As for the infection, your explanation is both inaccurate and insulting. You say infections “can’t” happen weeks later? That’s just false. Infections can occur later if the piercing was done poorly, if the jewelry wasn’t as sterile or hypoallergenic as you claim, or if trauma was caused during the process — all of which apply here. The fact that I followed aftercare instructions to the letter, the same way I did with my original piercing (which healed perfectly), yet both ears ended up infected after being handled by you, speaks volumes. This wasn’t a coincidence — it was the direct result of shoddy technique and questionable hygiene. And let’s address your most shocking comment: offering to “soak the piercings in alcohol.” That alone proves you shouldn’t be piercing anyone. Any reputable piercer knows alcohol is absolutely not appropriate for fresh piercings — it damages tissue and delays healing. That kind of advice is not only outdated, it’s actively harmful. If this is the level of aftercare knowledge you’re working with, it explains a lot about why so many customers walk out of your studio with problems. In summary, I paid £45 for: • A single piercing I didn’t need two of • A torn and re-bleeding ear • A matching set of infections • And a clinic that offers medical advice that would get laughed out of any legitimate piercing training course Your response just confirms what I suspected from the moment I walked out bleeding: you don’t care about your clients’ wellbeing, only their wallets. You’re defensive, unaccountable, and clearly lacking in both customer service and professional standards. I stand by every word of my original review and would actively warn others to steer well clear of your business.

My experience could not have gone better today. I am so glad I chose Tigerlily.. Mick was lovely and put us at our ease while waiting. He eased my nerves by making me laugh. Brendan was brilliant. He took great care to ensure my ear was properly cleaned and the placement of the piercing was exactly as I wanted it. Then he did the piercing quickly without messing about which I found much better than giving me time to overthink or get anxious. All I had to do was hold still for a very short while. I almost didn’t feel it, I could not believe how quick and simple things were after being scared for so long. I love my new piercing. I don’t know if it will help with migraines which is what made me want one in the first place. Even if not, my stud is really pretty and I love it. I nearly didn’t book because of a few negative reviews I’d seen, but I’m so glad I ignored them—this place is amazing! I went with my best friend and we both had our tragus pierced. From start to finish, the experience was calm, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. It didn’t hurt at all, and we’re both absolutely thrilled with the results. Huge thank you to Brendan and Mick—you were both brilliant. Friendly, reassuring, and clearly experts at what you do. Couldn’t recommend this salon more highly. If you’re hesitating, don’t. Negative experience: Got my first nose piercing done today but the guy who did that felt like he could be doing anything by a piercing on me. All questions I asked were responded quite rudely. The piercer was quite rude, didn’t make me feel comfortable considering it was my first ever piercing. The piercing itself took way too long and he didn’t give me time to look at where he was placing it. Paid way too much for a bad experience and service.

Negative experience: Got my seconds done a few days ago. The woman who pierced me was brief on what she was doing almost like she was in a rush to do her job but nice. On my right ear she was very rough with the needle which I could feel my skin rip. My ear on this side is now swollen, hard and extremely painful to touch. My ear is swallowing the earring (thank god I used the larger stud and not listened to her advice) . Due to all of this my ear is double the size yet I have followed everything she told me to do. My left ear is better. It’s extremely bruised and painful but with no swelling yet bleeding every time I clean and won’t stop. DO NOT COME HERE EDIT: Had to get this removed after, pus and hard lumps throughout my ear. I have an infection and an extremely painful wound now. Thanks a lot for the massive scar!!

Negative experience: I came in here to re pierce my ears, i did not book online unfortunately, i just walked in and booked as a spontaneous decision i suppose so i didn't fully look online, which i really do wish i did. My piercing for just my ears ended up costing £59!!! The piercing itself was £45 which also comes with a small bottle of solution so i didn't mind that but i was not told that id have to pay extra for the jewellery as well, which is one of the reasons for my bad review, purely because of lack of communication. The piercing was fine but cleaning my lobes hurt so more than the actual piercing bc of how thorough he was and the people working there are also just so miserable, bad environment and bad communication. Personally do not recommend

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo on the forearm and i couldn't be happier with it. It's a spitting image of what I wanted, looks realistic, great shading and the artist was very friendly and a good one to have a laugh with. I had that good of an experience, I tipped the lad. Which I never do. The tattoo was done in a good amount of time and looks amazing. Definitely coming back, and I definitely recommend this place if you want a tattoo done.

Negative experience: This was my first and probably last experience at tiger lily, My belly button piercing (pierced somewhere else 6 months ago) fell out and began to close up so i went to tiger lily to get it re pierced. The person who pierced me did not say a single word to me the entire time no introduction, no warning, no goodbye absolutely nothing. I felt very uncomfortable during this appointment and not only 3 weeks later my piercing is nearly fully rejected. Having a needle very aggressively shoved through you for no reason is one thing but to have the piercing then fail within a matter of weeks is another. No clamp was used during my experience either.

Fantastic experience: Have to give 11/10 for comfort of experience from foot in door at tiger lily, let alone meeting Tsuzan . Tsuzan met me for my first tattoo, on the ribs, he said i done well, yet , i think it was his calm cool self and his effort to makesure that i was happy with his inputs. Was perfect. I then went back, because i had somewhat a challenge for him, and he smashed it, my own design past to him to create and do his magic with. Illusion type multi image work. Hes not scared, and very good at his job. And ill be back tomorrow for booking with him

The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful, and Mick went above and beyond to help me change a tricky nose piercing that I couldn’t manage myself. I was worried about the pain, but Mick was incredibly patient, nice, and reassuring throughout. He also helped my friend with an ear piercing change, and his kindness and expertise made the whole experience comfortable. Mick pierced my bellybutton five years ago, and it healed perfectly—it’s still my favorite piercing! Thank you, Mick and team, for the fantastic service!

Negative experience: Got my helix done here. Was slightly skeptical seeing all the bad reviews. Went in and the staff was friendly informative and got the job done. it was a bit on the expensive but They provide after care also (small bottle of saline solution). Edit: After facing a lot of swelling and getting my helix taken out and done again by my local shop my helix was pain free and did not swell at all. When I came to tiger lily the guy doing my piercing was very bad and it hurt a lot. My local shop said my ear was damaged. I did endure a lot of pain whilst getting it from here but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Do not recommend!

Fantastic experience: I got my helix piercing done with my boyfriend the man who did our piercing was very professional and the piercing was very straight forward and fast, i am very happy and pleased with the piercing!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a very long time, today went in for a labret piercing and had a great experience. Slots can fill up quickly so make sure you have time. The staff are friendly and the shop has some great items on sale. Glad these guys are here

Negative experience: I popped in to have them put in a lip bar (mri so had to remove), cost me £10 to have it tightened correctly (as in, if done professionally it won’t fall out). I got less than 3 mins away (not even to the prison) and the ball fell off. When I went back in they explained how “some ppl don’t want it tightened properly” which really did not make sense as if someone is paying to have it done they are expecting it to be done properly!! When I popped back they did replace (no extra charge)but this time round the lady didn’t clean the bar or wash her hands (passive aggressive behaviour) and was very off about the fact I held her accountable for the poor job she did. My lip has been in since 1999 and this is the 1st time I’ve had to deal with infection and am now on antibiotics. Do not go here! The staff will say their poor job is bc….you! And when you call them out you’ll rust infection bc of passive aggressive behaviour.

Fantastic experience: Got multiple piercing changes and my second eyebrow done by Mick today. Super quick and easy with each one with great staff who clearly know what they are doing . I have had a few piercings done by him and have had no problems what so ever. Legend!

Fantastic experience: Just got a Bridge piercing by Mick- a great laugh throughout! The piercing came out super straight and I didn’t feel a thing! 10/10 would recommend getting a piercing here. Negative experience: It’s a shame to have to write this review as they do have good piercers at this place, for instance the lady who did my lobes, but my recent experience with them hasn’t been the best. I went in to get my navel pierced, and have ended up having to take it out 5 months later. The guy who pierced me didn’t even tell me his name, didn’t use a clamp, and was very brisk and unfriendly during the appointment. I was in a lot of pain too because he couldn’t get the needle through and ‘wriggled’ it around under my skin to get the right angle, only to pierce it wonky. I’m now left with a scar and £45 less. During the healing process, I cleaned it twice a day with saline solution, as well as showers, but the scarring from being poked with the needle left pus and infections. It was great a discomfort, which worried me as it should have been healed by then. What’s worse is when i went in around 3 months after the piercing to ask for advice on how to help the condition of my piercing, they offered no help at all and didn’t even take a look at it, they also offered to re pierce it but at full price. I would include pictures but it won’t let me attach any to the review. I apologise for having to write such a bad review as I do believe Tiger Lily is a good studio, but was let down by one bad experience that they didn’t try to help me with after.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with Kelly. It was my first tattoo and he made me feel really calm and in control. The tattoo itself is absolutely perfect. The studio was clean, comfortable and inviting. Will definitely be coming back here for the next tattoo. I can’t recommend enough.

Negative experience: I usually come here to get my piercings done by Kat who is very nice and professional. However, I came here with my friend the other day to get our cartilages pierced and this time it was a man who I had never seen before but think was the owner. He was very abrupt and rough with the piercing. I have had many piercings and this was definitely the most painful which it shouldn’t have been. My friend’s piercing went very wrong as he had pierced through her vein and it wouldn’t stop bleeding to the point where it was so infected she just had to take it out and waste a lot money as it was very expensive which it shouldn’t have been because the man didn’t seem the most experienced. Not coming back ✌️✌️

Negative experience: Got my septum pierced here a few months ago, I really wish I could leave a better review but unfortunately I can’t. My friend got her piercing, had no problems and was given aftercare, I was given none. The piercer was also patronising and came across as quite off with me. Have had no problems with the piercing since, but the experience wasn’t great.

Positive experience: Look, this place looks a bit shady (especially the piercing room), but everyone is extremely nice, kind and helpful. So tbh, I can complain too much about it, it was overall a good experience.

Positive experience: I thought I would leave a review since I read so many before deciding to go here to get my nose pierced. Overall I am very happy with my piercing, it was very straightforward and I got booked in within half an hour. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. The 2 reasons for not giving 5 stars are that: 1. It was quite expensive (£50 including the gold plated ring) however, I do think that expertise and safety is worth paying for. 2. The man who did it was quite abrupt - despite being a bit nervous I was ok with his straightforward manner but perhaps not everybody would be. That said, he was extremely professional and very precise and I can't fault his piercing skills. I would recommend this studio for piercings. There were lots of people in and out getting piercings while I was there for a short time on a Wednesday afternoon so it's obviously popular and for good reason.

Negative experience: EDIT: after looking for new jewellery, a second piercer elsewhere told my that they need to take my bar out as the piercer went too shallow. They were also surprised that he never told me to get them downsized. They said any changes to my breast could leave my nipple split in half and it would only be fixed with plastic surgery. 90 pounds tobe pierced wrong and to have insufficient aftercare advice. Terrible. ORIGINAL: The piercer (I think his name was Mick but I could be wrong) was the most friendly guy ever! Just like talking to a mate and made me feel really at ease about everything, totally understanding of any nerves and nervous sweats you may have, great at putting your mind to ease. Other staff members were also lovely, and gave great advise when I was looking at the bongs! I'd fully reccomend their piercing service to absaloutley anyone!

Fantastic experience: Came in without an appointment and they saw me within the hour. Got my upper ear pierced by Mick Durham, smooth and easy process, Mick helped me check the placement and I barely felt any pain. Would highly recommend this place!

Negative experience: i’ve been to tiger lilys many time before to get a piercing as paige was amazing, went back yesterday to get my bridge done with my sister and friend and had a guy called mick do our piercings. he was very forceful, didn’t take any time with us at all. i’m very nervous when it come to piercings and he just kept saying “i will say one more time and you’ll walk out of here with no piercing and no money back” which to me felt very wrong, he wasn’t patient at all, was really disappointed:(

Negative experience: I went into TigerLily a couple of weeks ago for some piercing changes. I usually do them myself, but was struggling with a couple of new ones, so went for a walk in. I'd seen good reviews and that's why I went here. Initially I was shocked to see the HEFTY price tag for just three changes at £18. I've never been charged more than £5 for multiple in other places. However, I was desperate as one of them really needed attention so decided to pay. I went in and the male piercer was originally friendly and helpful and changed them all over. However, I felt through the day that my lower helix wasn't right so messaged and popped back. The same guy literally swapped his tone and was very abrupt and rude upon my return, making me feel very unwelcomed. I explained politely I felt the piercing wasn't in properly (missing my cartlidge and just going through the skin at the side). He then decided to take it upon himself to literally start ramming my ear to what felt like 'prove a point' that there wasn't a hole in the way I mentioned. I kept saying ouch and was ignored. He also tried to claim it was hurting because it was a 'bigger bar than I was used to'. However, I have enough piercings to know that it was exactly the same as I normally have (a 1.2mm). I left with a very swollen ear and went home to cry. I messaged TigerLily again about the ordeal and I felt I was dismissed. They said they tried to correct it without charge but that was it. I've now been left on read on messages. I had both my conch fall out not even 24-hours later (it wasn't put in properly) and my daith also do the same a couple of days after (after the time I'd messaged and given up). These were both of which I paid for with my helix change. They offered to refund me the conch at the time, but nothing for the traumatic helix experience. It was a bit of a kick in the teeth when I explained it would cost me more to return for the refund with bus tickets than it would for the refund itself. In the end I gave up on messaging because it clearly was going no where. It's a huge shame because there are only really negative reviews about the one guy (no tattoos or piercings, who I believe is the owner). I should have looked more carefully before going. All the other piercers and staff seem much better, and I have nothing against them. Safe to say I will not be going back, especially when I get better service and prices at other local piercers. Definitely do not recommend based on my one experience here.
