Fantastic experience: I first met Jordan while at uni in Birmingham (a lifetime ago), he re-pierced my Medusa that was botched by another piercer. He’s the best and the only one I trust to pierce me now. So a trip up from London to see him at Vivid Ink Wolverhampton was a must. His room in the studio is clean, he creates a calm environment, makes sure you’re happy with the piercing placement beforehand, has a great selection of jewellery and is just simply the best at his craft. Definitely worth the trip up and I left a very happy customer.

Positive experience: Was OK, but didn't really get what I wanted. They ended up inverting the reference image. Went else where to correct.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience today at Vivid Ink, I contacted Jordan today for the first time as I had a smiley piercing ( not done by Jordan)that was irritating my gums, he told me to pop down and he would sort it for me…. And he did! The hoop I have now is absolutely great! So while I was there I also had my rook pierced….. would have been rude not to!! It was so professionally done, from the choice of jewellery, placement and the final look, really please with the service, professionalism and knowledge that Jordan had. I will definitely return and have more

Fantastic experience: From the start to the finish the whole experience was flawless. I had to rearrange my appointment with Dan to a different day due to work, I phoned up and changed it no problem. There were two of us that were getting a tattoo of a turtle with Dan, we were greeted by Ellie who was friendly and looked like she genuinely loved her job. Dan called us over and took his time in getting the sizing and placement just right. He explained everything and did a great job. We are already looking at other ideas to come back!

The design he created from my ideas was incredible, the detail is amazing and far better than I imagined. I was a little nervous beforehand, but Evan made the whole process so easy and comfortable, it was a lot of fun. Honestly the best first tattoo experience I could have asked for. I’ll definitely be back for my next one with Evan soon (despite saying I’d only ever get one!)

Fantastic experience: From booking and having an idea to actually walking out the door the whole process was so simple. In shop, the team are a great bunch. There’s no atmosphere, there’s just fun but hard work happening. I’ve been in other tattoo shops where the artists spend more time talking than tattooing but these guys and girls multi task to a really high standard that makes you as a customer feel very welcome. Dan - is fantastic artist and I really think is going to be one of the best around, look at his work. You could say hes pretty damb close already. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: I had a tattoo done by Magenta who is an apprentice at Vivid Ink Wolverhampton, she was very welcoming when I first came in and had good conversation during the session which made me feel very comfortable. Magenta made sure I was happy with the sizing and stencil placement before starting and walked me through a lot of the process, she even gave me tips about her favourite tattoo aftercare. Absolutely love my tattoo and I’d highly recommend checking this place out! I’ll also note that Dan ( who is another tattoo artist ) was really nice when I was filling in my consent forms :).

Fantastic experience: I have had some tattoos done by Dan at Vivid ink! He did my first ever tattoo about 3 weeks and was great during the whole process and since then I have had 3 more with him. All on my ankles and one behind my ear, I love them all, they are unbelievable. I absolutely recommend Dan, his skills are unmatched, he is phenomenal. He is kind and will make sure everything is perfect for you all whilst having a laugh which is a bonus. I strongly recommend booking in with Dan! Great tattooist absolutely no faults

Fantastic experience: Jordan did my septum piercing a couple of months ago. As well as a great experience during the piecing it has healed brilliantly. I've been back for new jewellery since and Jordan was so helpful and friendly. Will be coming back for future piercings.

Fantastic experience: Had a sleeve started and the tattooist unfortunately had to retire due to health problems half way into. I found Denis at Vivid Ink who was happy to complete the other half of the sleeve ( so this is an artist that is effectively finishing a picture that is half done by someone else, not many would have the balls or the ability to take this on). Denis was happy to take the challenge on and I have to say he is genius at his craft, calm and respectful and a true artist. One more session to finish but looking 10/10 so far. And yes Denis does colour as well !!

Negative experience: Booked and paid for session, sent in ideas and examples and kids names I wanted in tattoo, booked leave from work to attend only to be told tattooist was going back to his country and could not do my tattoo, had to ask my deposit back, no help and they appeared not bothered, avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Firstly. I’d like the mention the lack of communication.. this was my first experience at vivid ink.. there was NO communication AT ALL! The tattooist brought his girlfriend into the studio without asking my permission (I felt so uncomfortable) she kept giving me dirty looks like I’m not suppose to be there. They did not feel welcome at all! Not to mention the whole time I was getting my ink they were talking amongst themselves in their OWN LANGUAGE! I found this ABSOLUTELY RUDE!!!!!!!!! With all my experience from getting ink this is by far the worse one! The tattooist is Bogdan! So id avoid any awkwardness or rudeness from him! Apart from that the shop looks nice & im sure the other staff are nice too!

Fantastic experience: Have come here 2-3 times now and never left a review. Always had a great experience, special mention to artists who have worked on myself previously and my wife... Denis and Ellie. Really skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Ellie really put my wife at ease who was a bit nervous, made her feel comfortable throughout and advised well on aftercare.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I visited vivid ink last Friday for a tattoo which I had booked for around 3 weeks. On arrival I was greeted by Jordan who was very friendly and approachable I was then greeted by my tattoo artist Ellie. She was absolutely lovely and made me feel so comfortable. She was constantly checking to see if the design was okay, and the placement of it, nothing seemed too much for her! Whilst Ellie was tattooing me she was very talkative and chatty, which made me feel relaxed. She spoke to me the whole way through the appointment - she was amazing! If I could award 6 stars I would. Fantastic experience: Amazing customer service at Vivid Ink today. Originally booked in for my daughter’s ear piercing. Jordan was extremely professional and amazing at settling her nerves. He was able to also squeeze me in for a septum piercing and my son in for an ear piercing too as walk-ins. Incredibly informative, professional and the studio was really clean with a friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I visited Vivid Ink as a walk-in for double earlobe piercings as a birthday treat, Jordan was exceptional. Professional, courteous and genuine, offered a variety of options on jewellery to wear during the healing process and adjusted the stencils to ensure they were completely symmetrical and to my satisfaction. He was patient and very funny, completely set me at ease. The place was welcoming and vibrant, the piercing room comfortable and clean. Three days post-service and my piercings are healing perfectly. Fantastic experience: Had a couple of piercings done by Jordan yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised at how little they hurt given I was pierced with a needle (2nd & 3rd ear lobe). Jordan is an absolute expert at what he does, he has a very good hand for piercing; gentle yet confident. He also has a very calming presence which helped put me at ease instantly. Very happy with my piercings, he discussed the placement and options available to me including possible healing time. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I don't really ever do reviews, but I thought this one deserved one. From start to finish everyone involved at vivid ink wolves were nothing but outstanding. I had Evan do a piece on my forearm, which was for my son so was very personal to me. I'd never had a tattoo before and had no idea what to expect, but Evan immediately gave me a rundown of how the day was going to go to put me at ease and answered all the questions I had...not to mention his work is incredible, so much so my father in law is now intent on having his next one done by Evan too! I have no doubt I'll be back!
