Fantastic experience: I went to Skin City to get a "Rib - Surface Piercing" and honestly, I'd recommend this place. It wasn’t over crowded which is good for those who have social anxiety like myself and Jim's an incredible piercer. He was calm, patient and made me feel at ease throughout my appointment. I'd definitely go back

Fantastic experience: I got my belly button pierced today at skin city. The piercer did a really nice job, the piercing looks really centred as well. He also had a very pretty heart shaped gem piercing at a really good price.

Fantastic experience: I came to visit Skin city all the way from London as my niece wanted her nose pierced. In support to my niece I got my Tragus ear pierced. Ty was amazing from being super friendly in greeting us, explaining the piercing procedures. The actual piercing was so comfortable and didn’t hurt. He made the whole experience worthwhile and we can’t thank you enough Ty. You’re a star!

Fantastic experience: absolutely amazing place! got 3 pericings done for £75, so great prices. I called ahead and was unfortunately an hour late for my appointment as I had a hard time finding the place, they waiting after closing time for me and still did all three. TY was amazing! so calm and really sweet, marked them all up and made sure they were perfect, 10/10 will be going back to get more done, thank you x

Fantastic experience: I had my first tattoo here today , the staff made me feel comfortable as soon as I entered the shop and I will most definitely be returning for anymore I decide to have in the future. Jim is such an incredible artist and he did such a great job when it came to making me feel comfortable , I had such a great time and absolutely loved the work he did for me — the shop is filled with such happiness and laughter that it immediately eased my nerves , you can genuinely tell that they appreciate their customers and care for the cleanliness of their work environment. Getting my first tattoo here immediately got me hooked and I will definitely be coming to you guys for anything else I decided to get in the future.

Negative experience: Got my second ear piercings done and my nose just under a month ago. Happy with healing process for the ear lobes so far. However I have unfortunately had quite a negative experience with my nose piercing. Initially got pierced with their titanium gemstone corkscrew stud, which seeped into my skin a day after I got the piercing done. Went back to the shop to have this looked at , and it was changed to the other option they had, a flatback ball stud. Whilst this was noticeably better, the shop I went to which evaluated the severity of my piercing bump said the jewellery change days after I got the piercing is likely to have been what caused me to develop quite a severe irritation bump, as this shouldn’t have been done so shortly after being pierced initially. I believe the fitting of the flatback ball stud also had issues itself as the ball fell off a day after the piercer changed it . Had to go to another store to treat the piercing bump, which has now unfortunately led me to having to get the jewellery taken out . Would’ve loved to try sort with SkinCity but due to their varied opening hours (closed Sundays and Mondays) and I needed the situation to be dealt with quite urgently, I had to opt for an alternative company. Whilst the staff were generally kind and willing to help when needed, it’s very unfortunate that I have practically wasted money due to having such an experience and have to wait to get re-pierced again.

Fantastic experience: I was a walk wanting some piercings, the process was professional and fairly quick. The atmosphere was comfortable and the decor was intriguing which I suppose can help distract people from any pain during piercings and tattooing. I’m overall happy and would consider going again if I had the need to.

Fantastic experience: Had a 4.5 hour session with Jim. Honestly couldn't thank him more. My tattoo looks great and he is a good laugh. I've found my new tattoo artist. Couldn't recommend more.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my daughter went here for our piercings and got to say I'm so pleased with how it went , the man piercing was great and friendly and very chatty and put my daughter at ease . When she felt a bit funny after the piercing she was given a bottle of water and told not to move until she was ready . Brilliant experience and will deffo go back

Fantastic experience: I have been going to SkinCity for 6 years for my tattoos and Rambo is an amazing artist and has brilliant characteristics the whole team do. Never a dull moment and only the best from them all. They all work extremely hard and professional with making everyone who walks into the shop feel welcome and always has excellent after care advice and are available to ask questions even after having the appointment if there are any issues. I honestly couldn’t recommend these guys enough I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my tattoos except here because of the amazing work they all do and the absolutely amazing atmosphere in the shop

Fantastic experience: My Second tatto by Jim at Skin city not only do you get a good quality tattoo But you get some good laughs and banta with all the artists in the shop all three artists (Jim' Rambo'and Thrax) are good tattoo artists who take Pride in there work! Fantastic experience: This is a great place to get tattooed. There is always a lot of great banter with the artists and they are all really welcoming. They run a very tight ship when it comes to cleanliness which is great to see. I've only been tattooed by Thrax, who is an amazing artist, but Jim and John have an amazing portfolio too. If you wanna get tattooed then Skin City is an excellent choice.

Fantastic experience: I got my tattoo done by Jim yesterday. Great person to have a chat with, his work is exceptional and he did a fantastic job by putting my mrs name with butterflies. It looks really amazing on my arm. Everyone in the shop was very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely come again to get another one done soon from these guys. Fantastic experience: Had my ears pierced here recently, piercer did a great job and was friendly too. Had such a good experience I brought a friend to have hers done shortly after. All really clean and professional, also they use piercing needles which are very much superior to the original piercing experience I had as a kid at a less professional shop with a piercing gun (after which they were difficult to thread, prone to infection and eventually healed up. Since getting re-pierced at Skin City my ears have been ZERO trouble. I’ve learned my lesson!) Aftercare is good too- the other day I lost the back of one of the titanium studs I got pierced with (I’ve healed enough to wear other earrings now but I love them for sleeping! Very comfy!) and they replaced it for me. Which reminded me I should write a review! 5*

Fantastic experience: It was my first ever tattoo and it couldn’t have gone better! The staff were so chatty and friendly and really put me at ease, and they took time to make sure the tattoo was just how I wanted it. Jim did amazing and the pain was so minor, will definitely be going back for more!

Fantastic experience: I came in with my friend to get a helix piercing and her lobes and were both pierced by the wonderful Ty. So friendly and especially helped keep my friend calm as she was quite nervous. He was incredibly thorough and made sure she was completely happy with placement and walked her through how to look after her healing piercings. Such professionalism and all the staff were so friendly! Would definitely return for future piercings and recommend to anyone :)

Fantastic experience: Been to Skin City specifically Rambo for all of my tattoos! Does an amazing job coming up with designs from my initial ideas. Tattoos all still look amazing and healed well! Super friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the shop. Can’t fault them!

Fantastic experience: I have returned to Skin City for a variety of reasons, because as a whole, they excel in everything they do. I have been tattooed by Jim, pierced by Ty, both with no issues. Both wonderful people with a great deal of skill in what they do. However, my main go-to is Rambo. Rambo & I have built up a pretty impeccable friendship through being tattooed, and he is someone I can laugh and joke with before, during and after a session. He has amazing skill and creates the best art, whether OG designs or a design based on your own concept. He has tattooed probably 80-85% of the tattoos I have (I am currently on 80) and he has tattooed all but 3 big pieces, although he is fixing these pieces for me. As you can tell, I can't stay away! I adore the whole of Skin City and I am so glad that fateful belly button piercing in 2019 took me there, because honestly, I've never looked back

Fantastic experience: Johnny has been tattooing me for a couple of years now and they guy is amazing not only is his work outstanding but he has THE most incredible bedside manner, he is a kind chatty guy. Makes you feel so comfortable whilst doing his job. If he has to sit and twist himself whilst tattooing you so you’re comfortable that’s exactly what he will do (for hours) he is the only tattooist I have been to that doesn’t make you sit in awkward positions. I have sent more people his way and they have all said the same thing. Best bedside manner experience by any tattooist. His aftercare attention is next level also. Will keep in touch with you for days-weeks if necessary to make sure you’re healing well and he cares about his artwork and it looking the best it can. Would highly recommend this guy. I have also been tattooed by Jim, also a wicked guy who makes you feel extremely comfortable in his shop. Doesn’t matter who is tattooing you they are very welcoming and friendly. Also a great experience coming here because it’s such a laugh.

Since going to this studio I WON'T be going to any others because the lads in Skin City are just too bloody good. Had alot of tattoos done here and I can't fault any of them. Fantastic experience: I have had multiple tattoos and piercings completed by Rambo over the last 9 years and I couldn't recommend him and the shop highly enough. I have absolute trust and faith in the guys, and on more than one occasion have turned up and offered for Rambo to "tattoo what you want" with the most exceptional results. Warm and welcoming environment, professionalism and exceptional quality but also great for a laugh and a joke. I now travel over 130 miles just to come and be tattood here because nowhere will ever live up to these guys and this amazing shop. Fantastic experience: Incredible tattoo studio with 3 extremely talented, professional artists. The guys are extremely friendly and understanding and really try to accommodate you on getting exactly what you want on custom tattoos. The music is mostly incredible as much of the time they play metal. The shop has a great ambience and the guys are really on it with hygiene. Thrax does my tattoos he's got decades of experience and is so talented. However, i have seen Rambo's work etc and all 3 guys are incredible

Fantastic experience: I popped into here today on the off chance they could fit me in for a tragus piercing- I was on an errand from work & needed to get back..I was greeted by Jim who told me that piercing open at midday bit he would fit me in there & then! In the chair & sorted within a few minutes!Great service, much more friendly atmosphere than some other city centre based tattoo/piercing places. Great aftercare advice although I know the score. Fantastic experience: Amazing place. Went in for a surface piercing, was quiet a tricky one in regards to placement. The guys there were so helpful and patient when i wasnt fully happy with the alignment of it and corrected it until i was. Shout out to Jim for hitting the nail on the head the 3rd time around I couldn't be happier . Customer service is beyond Ace, always a warm and friendly welcome anytime i step through the door. They will be seing me for my first tatt with them very soon, would definitely recommend !

Calmed my nerves and really took his time to design me a beautiful piece. Did not make me feel rushed at all infact the complete opposite! Anything I wanted was never a problem! Fantastic experience: Came in today on a whim for a Banksy piece I've wanted for a very long time and the guys at Skin City squeezed me in for a last minute appointment. Got my work done by Rambo and I absolutely love it ! He told best position to put it, talked me through the process and even helped calm my nerves down (It's been a while since I had my last tattoo). If you're in the Leicester area, I can't recommend these guys enough ! Honestly one of the best tattoo studios I've been to and the whole vibe in the shop is great to ! Fantastic experience: I came here to have my tongue pierced on Saturday and they were all fantastic! Really friendly and helpful people who guide you through the process and took their time. My tongue has healed much better than the last place I got it done and a lot of care was taken with myself and my friends to limit pain and swelling throughout the process. Fantastic experience: Love coming to Skin City. Everyone is proper friendly and make you feel as comfortable as possible! Always have a laugh with all of the guys here and they produce some proper quality pieces!
